GETTING BACK TO ASTROLOGICAL BASICS

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on August 21, 2019 at 8:50 AM Comments comments (0)

Sometimes it is good to have a bit of a re-freshener with the basics of Astrology. The fundamentals are essential and need to be practiced even with the most advanced techniques. In the field of Astrology, we will always be a student. It is important to recognize that we will NEVER know all that there is to know about Astrology.

As an Astrologer, it is essential to always be open to and welcome continued education because, as mentioned, we will be a permanent student.

The sign and house positioning of planets and significant angles (MC, ASC, DC, IC) are the most relevant in determining the areas of life (houses) and the relevant signature traits (signs) inherent with a chart. Always look to these positions and placements to get a clear picture of the energies in the chart. House placements and Sign positioning emphasis containing such as a Stellium will be greatly enhanced.

The Sun, the Moon and the Ascendant are determining factors in the individual’s expression and these also greatly enhance the character traits of an individual. A Stellium, for example, in the sign of Leo or an emphasis in the fifth house ruled be Leo, will significantly change the character of someone with a Virgo or Capricorn Sun for example. This is a perfect example of why some people do not fit the description of their Sun sign character traits (and for the simple fact there is so much more involved in an Astrology chart than just the Sun sign).

Tight aspects between Planets or Angles have a profound impact on the energies of the planets or angles that are being aspected. For example, using the Leo signature again, it will be very difficult for the Sun in Leo to have the usual flair and ego consciousness if there is a square from let’s say the Moon and Saturn. It would take hard work to bring to the forefront the emotional response of the typical Leo and its release of energy due to the square from Saturn (restrictions) and the Moon (emotions). This individual would have to work very hard to express themselves emotionally and with great vigor in comparison to say someone with a Leo Sun with a conjunction from Mercury, Jupiter and Venus or a rising sign of Leo.

Angles or aspects from other planets help determine how challenged or with what ease an individual has in releasing the energies from that planet. The energies are also influenced greatly by the energies of other planets. For example, a Sun in Leo individual with a conjunction to Uranus in Leo would also be somewhat eccentric in their expression and have a very unique character. With a Pluto conjunction this individual would express themselves in a more dynamic manner and have great power in their self-expression. This could point to leadership abilities being enhanced, but could also indicate a domineering individual.

Astrological configurations, as well as an emphasis on an aspect or a lack of an aspect, will also have a profound effect on the individual’s life journey. A person with a Grand Square will have many more challenging conditions in life than someone with a Grand Trine. The Grand Square individual will have opposing factors within their life’s mission but can use these energies to propel them forward in life once these energies are harnessed.

The Grand Trine individual will have a greater ease in obtaining benefits than that of other individuals, but may also become complacent and sit back far too much when they should be pushing themselves forward.

These are a few examples of the factors which must be considered when deciphering a natal chart Although they may seem rudimentary, they are significant and should never be overlooked when delineating an individual’s Astrology chart.

TRANSITING PLUTO CONJUNCT MERCURY

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on August 19, 2019 at 10:10 AM Comments comments (0)

Mercury’ energies deal with our thinking process. By Astrology sign, it defines different manners of communication and how our intellect operates. Mercury has to do with the way we define our intensions and how we stand as individuals with our own objectives and reasoning abilities.

This is the only planet that actually needs something to stimulate it, as on its own it is neutral in its function. Transits, therefore, play a significant role in how we express ourselves. All natal planets and angles to our natal Mercury take on a role in helping define Mercury’s energies for us, but its sign placement and house position play a big part in how the mind operates.

Pluto is the planet of transformation, regeneration and the uncovering of life’s secrets which were learned through self-understanding and a willingness to go below the surface of matters. When transiting Pluto aspects our Mercury, it opens doors to learning experiences. By the time Pluto has passed beyond its orb of influence on Mercury in our chart, we will have questioned our thoughts and philosophies and probably made major changes along the way.

Pluto’s influence in the natal chart is never a passive one. Its demands for truth often brings out and challenging conditions and power struggles that need to be faced. We cannot ignore Pluto and during this time, our will is tested, our judgement intensifies and we are able to examine anything with great insight. What we dig up may not always be pleasant but what we find will be truth and these truths have to be dealt with.

Do not ignore what Pluto is trying to convey. It is important and changes may be necessary in order that we rise above details and position ourselves so that once this transit is over, we have made the necessary changes preparing us for what is yet to come. It is often a transit of magnificent changes and transformational experiences, although possibly challenging in nature during the experience of the aspect.

When working with the energies of Pluto, this transit can be used to our benefit as we dig ever deeper into the meaning of life. It will reveal what needs to surface and offers us opportunities to move above challenging conditions and/or to leave a stagnated situation and in doing so we will have made our mark.

This is a great aspect for self-study and any kind of research can have profound effects. Meditation would be very beneficial and will often open doors that were previously closed. This is a time of honest reflection as well as a time to realistically view life’s conditions. Once we have had the opportunity to reflect, we can make constructive changes that will further our growth in the right direction.

TRANSITING PLUTO MOVING THROUGH THE FIRST HOUSE

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on August 16, 2019 at 11:15 AM Comments comments (0)

Transiting Pluto is the agent of transformation and depending on which house it is transiting, it will embody and change the energies and areas of life represented by that particular house. As Pluto moves into a house and crosses the house cusp, its energies are enhanced. As Pluto transits, planets within the house by conjunction or an aspect to other planets in other houses, its energies of dynamic change and regeneration merge with the energies of the planet in question.

Conjunctions are always the most intense experiences we can encounter, although squares and oppositions are also quite profound in their eventual release.

Pluto is very powerful when it conjuncts the ascendant and often produces permanent changes on a very personal level. This can include changes and transformations to relationships, changes to personal appearance, to the relationships with others, to our occupation, to the home environment and other areas of expression.

Pluto moving into the first house can bring to the forefront unexpressed or ignored inner qualities or experiences that will now need to surface and be confronted. It is best not to try to push aside things that surface under this influence. We should deal with what comes forth. By dealing with personal issues, we can rid them once and for all or challenge them and change them in an appropriate manner to something that will facilitate change on a permanent level. What once was now may be inappropriate, and we make changes that will put us more in line with our life’s path and also helps us understand the more dark corners of our personality.

Some of these personality quirks need to be addressed, acknowledged and then often put to rest. Some of these traits may not be overly pleasing but rest assured that if we ignored or tried to ignore them, they will never be resolved and the transformation that needs to take place will not take place. When it finally surfaces, the actions are much more dynamic, harsh and life altering because even though we have tried to ignore them, they must be dealt with.

It is almost futile to resist the changes taking place as we learn to deal with life experiences under this influence. The indicators of the need for change may be subtle in the beginning but if we choose to ignore these indicators, Pluto’s energies will gather in momentum and intensity.

Willingly or unwillingly, we will emerge a totally different personality and life will alter significantly as Pluto’s energies transmute our inner core and present us with outer changes that affect us on a very personal level.

What needs change will be activated and ego interference is quite possible; however, as we begin to merge into our newly forming self, what once was is replaced with permanence and what now surfaces is much more in line with our evolutionary requirements.

Pluto is very much a part of our ongoing evolutionary process and although often tedious and challenging, it will help us understand ourselves and recognize our potential as spiritual beings, if we choose to open the door to this understanding.

A new you will emerge under this influence of Pluto. Allow this energy to transcend your life forward and awaken you to your potential.

FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS - AUGUST 15, 2019

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on August 14, 2019 at 8:45 AM Comments comments (0)

Our next Full Moon phase will be on August 15, 2019 at 8:31 a.m. EDT. This Full Moon will be located at 22 degrees in the sign of Aquarius. Aquarius’ energies are highly connected to humanitarian concerns. Aquarius wishes nothing more than to persuade others to find their way out of complacency and begin anew. Anything old and outdated can now be released so that the way is cleared for what comes next. We cannot reach for the next rung on the ladder of life if we do not let go of the one we are holding onto.

The Full Moon, as mentioned many times in the past, is the time to harvest the fruits of our labour set in motion on the New Moon phase some six months ago. With an Aquarius influence, this is a time to purge and rid ourselves of unwanted materials. If what we began some six months ago now no longer suits our evolutionary quest, we can move ahead or make some changes in order to forge ahead or we can cut our losses. This is the end result, our harvest time and what we have nurtured and cared for we now bear fruit. We only reap what we have nurtured.

Aquarius at 22 degrees is in the third decant. This may suggest energies focused on relationships, and although the Moon always wants to nurture and take care of things, our emotions may not be in line with our intensions. Sometimes it is difficult to release pent up emotion or to express ourselves as we want to under this lunar placement. It is not that we are cold or unresponsive; we just might have a difficult time showing our true feelings. As mentioned, this decant, influenced by the energies of Libra, often has to do with relationships and transiting Venus forms a tight opposition to this placement. This can indicate some challenging times related to love and affection or women (the feminine) in general.

Oppositions usually suggest that the emphasis or energy comes from outside. Other individuals may cause this issue, if there is one. Much will depend on the other energies at play currently with our natal planetary positions and important points in our personal Astrology chart. Several squares to this positions or oppositions could indicate some challenges, while trines and sextiles often suggest easy flow and opportunities coming into play. As always, the whole chart must be reviewed carefully to get the full picture of what is taking place at any given time.

With this moon placement, Aquarius is often associated with a cause and this might be the time when we join a group of like-minded individuals who seek to share our insights and help facilitate growth in new directions.

There are always positive energies regardless of the planetary aspects in play. We just need to use the energies in a favourable manner to produce the best results.

TRANSITING VENUS CONJUNCT NATAL SUN

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on August 12, 2019 at 8:55 AM Comments comments (0)

Venus, in transit, takes over one year to complete its cycle around the Sun. It takes approximately 18 months from one retrograde period to the next and its retrograde cycle is approximately 40 days in length.

Many have Venus conjunct the Sun in their birth chart as it is never more than 48 degrees away from the Sun.

Venus is a feminine planetary influence and is linked to the sense of touch, material things and love. It has to do with kindness and politeness and adds a flair for wanting to be around beautiful things.

When Venus is direct in its motion, its energies want to manifest harmony, peace, beauty and love. When it is retrograde, its energies are the reverse, often taking on energies similar to that of Mars. With this retrograde influence, we can becomes more aggressive and the drive may still be towards gaining material abundance although when it is attached to business activities, its influence is often to slow things down or even move into reverse for a while. Check you chart to see if Venus is in retrograde or direct motion. This will define how the energies will be released when activated.

Venus when in conjunction to the Sun will only have a lasting influence of about 10 days unless it moves into retrograde. If this is the case, it can last much longer. Much will depend on the energies of other planetary influences during the same period when Venus is aspecting your Sun.

This Astrologer only uses the transits of outer planets to natal Venus as the energies are often far too short lived to make any significant changes to one’s life (when using the energies of the inner planets). However, Venus’ cycle will still have an impact on what takes place in your life but its influence will be quite short lived.

You will find that the feelings of affection are increased and your sensitivities are also enhanced during this aspect. You may want more social time with others and you will express yourself in a comfortable manner. Venus and the Sun usually go together very well and unless there are other mitigating factors making challenging angles to this conjunction, it generally is quite favourable. You may feel inclined to go out and enjoy yourself, and to look after your own needs. You may find relaxation in what you enjoy and the challenging conditions in life may be swept away at least for a while.

Sometimes with this aspect, you will need to make things happen. Other times, things just seem to flow your way however. Sitting back and waiting for life is never a good idea. Take life under your wing and have some fun.

You may run into someone that adds meaning to your life at this time. This applies to both women and men, but Venus usually indicates those more female in nature. Women, in general, may be lots of fun to be with now. This aspect affects both men and women although the women seem to enjoy these energies a little more than men.

Venus is also about creativity and artistic abilities. You may find that pursuing anything along these lines which can facilitate these abilities may work in your favour. The energies flow well into these areas and you may find that you enjoy this part of your life more now than usual.

Starting a new project might be a good idea and make sure that you surround yourself with visual complements that help you settle into things. Beauty is important and you can create wonderful things during this short stay with the conjunction between Venus and the Sun.

TRANSITING JUPITER & NATAL SATURN IN SEXTILE

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on August 9, 2019 at 8:50 AM Comments comments (0)

The energies of Jupiter in Astrology connect with expansion, optimism, luck and opportunities. The energies of Saturn, however, have to do with restrictions, delays, caution, lessons and limitations. Saturn offers potential growth but not without some focus and hard work through carefully planning, study and a cautious approach. As you can imagine, these two energies can work against each other.

If plans have been in motion for some time, and you have studied the project carefully, Jupiter linked with Saturn offers potential for success as long as you are willing to work diligently. If you dive into a project without proper forethought and planning then the potential for a successful outcome is lessened to a great degree.

Saturn defines duties and commitments with whatever you decide to move forward in. Jupiter will provide you with options that might not otherwise be there. If you need to get work done and completed on time, Saturn is the energy you need to cultivate. If you are looking for something that is high-minded and spiritual in nature or something concerning litigation then Jupiter might aid you in these areas.

Jupiter looks for expansion and freedom. Saturn will limit the steps taken so that you move securely one step at a time. If you are planning an investment, it might be best to be frugal with your spending although you might feel quite comfortable in overextending your bank account and going into debt in order to achieve what you set out to do. You should still carefully plan out your investments and make sure that there really is opportunity for growth. The potential is certainly there but do not be overly optimistic. Realize that it may take time for your fortune to unfold the way you might hope it will. Do not look for instant returns.

If you already own your own business, this is a good time for expansion, but do not go overboard. Make sure that the business is ready for expansion and that you can afford the costs that will be incurred once you make the commitment. Jupiter offers good luck and opportunities but not without hard work and discipline, due to Saturn’s influence. You may find that your ideas will pan out if you take cautious, informed steps along the way. There is greater opportunity for success under this influence and Jupiter is suggestive of business prospects and potential for higher earnings.

Your motto might be “Be cautiously optimistic and venture forth with the complete information required to fulfill your ultimate goals”.

Do you have this aspect in your Astrology chart?

TRANSITING JUPITER CONJUNCT NATAL MARS

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on August 7, 2019 at 8:40 AM Comments comments (0)

Transiting Jupiter often brings good luck, opportunities and expansion. Jupiter opens doors that may have been previously closed and sometimes these doors deal with life’s philosophies, religious doctrines and spiritual enlightenment. Much depends on what house your natal Jupiter is found in within your personal Astrology chart and also what house transiting Jupiter is moving through. Jupiter brings about optimistic approaches to almost anything it touches.

When Jupiter is conjunct Mars, it merges its energies with those of Mars. Mars is all about drive and the ability to pursue goals and objectives we might want to explore. Any conjunction always merges the energies of the two or more planets involved. If, for example, natal Mars was also conjunct the Sun while in conjunction with Jupiter, you would have a merging of all three energies. As Jupiter makes its conjunction to your Mars have a look at the aspects Mars is making in your chart to other planets or angles as they will also be affected by this conjunction.

If, for example, your Mars was natally located in the fifth house, the expansion and positive energies linked with the desire for action and a push in life may be related to a love connection or your children (if any). Perhaps you have been waiting on pushing ahead with a creative project. Now would be the time to pursue these areas of life, although over-optimism and a general feeling that nothing can go wrong should be noted.

Life has its twists and turns but if the general energies with the natal potential is a favourable influence (defined by natal aspects to Mars and Jupiter) things have a greater likelihood to turn out nicely for you under this influence.

Remember the closer Jupiter is to making a direct contact to Mars, the stronger the energies.

Another example would be Mars and Jupiter’s conjunction being found in the eleventh house. This would still have the same energy push and optimistic approach as the previous example but in this location, it would be related to your friends or perhaps some group activity that you have been pursuing or even working towards starting up yourself. Just ensure that you are not jumping into something without taking the time to do the necessary prep work. Mars often acts in a hasty manner so keep this in mind.

Your hopes and wishes just might come true if these aspects line up. Take a chance and go for it with this placement in your chart. As always, look at the whole chart for the whole picture.

DISPOSITOR TREE

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on August 6, 2019 at 8:35 AM Comments comments (0)

The final Dispositor or Dispositor Tree is essentially the chain of command. There will be one planet, sometimes two planets, that rules the Astrology chart.

If there is a planet in its own sign, for example Saturn in Capricorn, it is the final Dispositor or chief in command.

The way the Dispositor pattern is calculated is determined by the planets in the signs. For example, we will use Sagittarius as the rising sign which is ruled by Jupiter (the natural ruler of Sagittarius); Jupiter is in Aries (in our example) and so Aries natural ruler is Mars. Mars is in Scorpio and Scorpio is naturally ruled by Pluto. Pluto is in the sign of Leo and Leo rules the Sun. The Sun is in Aquarius and Aquarius is ruled by Uranus. Uranus is in the sign of Cancer and Cancer is ruled by the Moon. The Moon is ruled by Scorpio bringing the ruler back to Pluto.

We have not yet touched on Venus which is in Sagittarius ruled by Jupiter and Jupiter is in Aries. We have already followed that route and it came back to Pluto.

We have not touched on Saturn which is in Libra ruled by Venus which is ruled by Sagittarius. This brings us back again to Jupiter and following that same route to Pluto.

We have not touched on Neptune which is ruled by Venus and Venus is in Sagittarius bring us back to Jupiter and ending that cycle to Pluto.

Pluto, therefore, is the common denominator and will be the final Dispositor.

Is there planets in mutual reception (an example of this could be Saturn in Libra and Venus in Capricorn)?

Libra rules Venus and Saturn rules Capricorn, so these two positions are in mutual reception. These two planets will be very significant in the chart and in this individual’s life. Having these two planets in each other’s signs stop the chain of command and makes them both very significant in the chart.

Is there are planets in their own signs (for example, Saturn in Capricorn)? The calculation goes no further and this becomes the final Dispositor.

Sometimes there are two interplanetary links that constantly come to the forefront. These two planets are extremely important in the birth chart and together share the rulership of the chart.

The ruler of the Ascendant is also been called the ruler of the chart and its planetary ruler is of extreme importance as well. For example, Sagittarius as an Ascendant will make Jupiter extremely important in this individual’s life. If Libra were the rising sign, then Venus would be very important to this individual. Remember that the Ascendant sign is how we relate to the world on an outside expression and the individual with Libra rising would then be very social, very pleasing to meet, always seeking harmony and balance in life. They would resonate in this way to those that they meet, especially on first meeting.

The final Dispositor is the planet which other planets depend on and this planet will have a profound effect in the life of the individual. In the example we used at the start of this post, Pluto will play a prominent role in the unfolding of this individual, and Pluto will have assistance from Jupiter. These two planetary links, therefore, provide the needed impetus to propel this individual forward in reaching their life’s objectives and transformations will play a big part in that unfolding.

Follow your chain of command and see which planet or planets affect you in a direct and creative manner. This will be the driving force and motivating factor in your life.

INFLUENCING US ALL - NEPTUNE SEXTILE PLUTO

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on July 29, 2019 at 9:45 AM Comments comments (0)

The sextile between Neptune and Pluto is a long standing aspect and it has been in influence for approximately 70 years. As a result, everyone under the age of 70 will have this aspect in their birth chart. There are many other influences in our birth charts so for some individuals this aspect will be predominant and for others, they may have aspects that water down the affects of the sextile between Neptune and Pluto.

This is a very sensitive placement between these two outer planets and is said to stimulate psychic and clairvoyant abilities, particularly if the Sun or Moon are also aspected by these planets. The closer this sextile aspect is to being direct, the stronger the influence.

This sextile began during the Second World War around 1942 and deals with inner exploration, the mystical journey if you will. I am sure that many that experienced the Second World War would have spent time in contemplation of the why behind the war and learned a great deal about themselves during their plight. This would have taken place on a global scale and even though those that fought this war were not born with this sextile in their birth chart, they would have had it in transit. This too would have affected different areas of their natal chart.

Pluto and Neptune both deal with the subconscious. Neptune deals with spirituality while Pluto deals with transformation. It takes little imagination to understanding the influence that these two giants in astrology would have in the lives of those that have this energy strongly influencing their lives. The sextile between these two planetary energies deal with the collective and the philosophy of the people influenced by this union. Many are swayed through the intuitive channels and are pioneering when dealing with problems faced by humanity.

Some with this aspect can use their psychic abilities and aid others in their quest for truth. Many who have this sextile strongly placed in their birth charts have the potential for expanding their understanding of the psychic and mystical journey that we share. When among groups of people with shared interests in these abilities, the potential can surface and become part of the everyday experience, after all it is known as the super-NATURAL.

It is believed that if we were to follow our dreams, we could make them a reality. This holds just as true as the fact that we mold our reality through belief structures and expectations in life. There are many clairvoyants and psychics with this sextile who openly use these techniques as tools to better our world, one individual at a time. We all have the abilities to infiltrate the consciousness. We are to stay open and have a willingness to explore the inner regions of the mind and our true connection with the world of mysticism.

Many will experience precognitive dreams and many have innate psychic healing energies. We can work with our dreams. We can work with others to assist them in deciphering their dreams and use these tools as guiding factors in our lives.

There is a great desire for justice and goodness among many of these people and a major factor in their lives is to assist others in reaching their spiritual potential and awakening to themselves.

NEW MOON & ITS ENERGIES' LINK TO THE FULL MOON

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on July 26, 2019 at 8:50 AM Comments comments (0)

The New Moon phase is considered a time to put goals into action, setting things into motion. We can set new goals for our self and when the Full Moon moves into the same sign or house positon that the New Moon was in, we will find that the energies flow more easy to complete our goals.

The Full Moon cycle is often linked to completing or reaching the end of a condition or course of action. This is when ideas and our work effort come to fruition. If we are not quite there, this period provides the energies so that we can visualize the whole picture and often will instinctively know what the next steps should be to complete our goal.

In the New Moon phase, we could set our plans and outline what our intensions may be. Our normal metaphor is the garden of life. The new Moon is the time to ready our garden and plant our seeds after which we can work to see our goals grow. No seed grows without being attended to. We can ensure that our goals receive the necessary food and water and that it is not being choked out by other activities in life. As times passes, watch how our goals manifest as life presents the needed opportunities and we put in the required work. When we plant our seeds, our intension is set.

When we enter into the Full Moon cycle, particularly if there is a link to the sign and house positon of the original New Moon phase when we set are intensions, we will discover that either these intensions can materialize, they can deepen or mature or they have withered.

If we set our intensions on goals specific to the house and sign position in our personal astrology chart, the potential for success is greater than if we set intensions in areas of life that are not linked to house and sign position.

For example, if the New Moon is in Taurus and in the fourth house, we might think about beautifying our home and doing work on the house, as Taurus often speaks about material comforts and the fourth house has to do with the home environment.

If the same sign and house placement are involved in our personal chart during the new moon and full moon cycles but our sights were set on begin a new relationship, this goal might not work out as well for us. In this circumstance we might want to wait until the New Moon sign placement is in Libra and the house placement is in the fifth house. Libra is all about partnership and important relationships among other things, and the fifth house deals with romantic involvement (among other things).

If by chance the New Moon Cycle begins under a Void-Off-course Moon, it has been noted that things will often not materialize during this cycle. (Void-off course is when the moon is not making an aspect while leaving one sign and entering the next. For example, the Moon is in Aries at 27 degrees 15 minutes at which time it squares Mars. It will not make another aspect to any other planets until it is at Taurus at 1 degree and 23 minutes. This period is known as Void-Off-Course). The Void-Off Course period could last from a few hours, even minutes to several days. Under the influence of the Void-Off course Moon, goals may not materialize or things do not go as planned. It would be better to wait until a time when there is no Void-Off-Course influence.

It is not suggested by this Astrologer that we have to wait to make plans or decisions in life for these opportune moments to come, but there is a better chance to make things work if following these guidelines. Even with the energies of the moon cycles are influencing our Astrology chart, we must always look at the whole chart as there may be other mitigating conditions within the chart making challenges or even more easy flow for our goals. Always look through the whole chart as it can help us discover if we will be presented with challenges or easy flow in achieving any objective.

Astrology can be used to help our life’s endeavors, but we always have the leading role in determining what actions to take. Astrology is a guide to help us with our decisions. It does not dictate.

SUN IN LEO - JULY 22, 2019

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on July 23, 2019 at 12:45 AM Comments comments (0)

The Sun moves into the noble sign of Leo at 10:51 p.m. EDT on July 22, 2019. Leo is symbolically linked to the Lion....the king of the jungle.

Those individuals with strong Leo tendencies in their birth chart certainly wish to have some reign over their personal kingdom. They are proud and charismatic individuals, who will be noticed when they make an entrance. They are leaders (seldom followers) and wish to help those around them by organizing life so that it flows gracefully and accommodating.

Leo is the sign of the actor and they are inclined towards the dramatic yet their intensions are honorable and always for the betterment of those individuals that they touch. They truly want to be of help although they also have a tendency to take over situations. They like to rule over matters and often believe that they know what is best for others. In many cases, this might be true but there are others, such as a typical Aries or Capricorn, that feel quite comfortable leading their own lives and making their own decisions. The classic Leo will have to learn when it is appropriate to advance their intentions and when they should just sit back and allow.

A Leo individual is a kind-hearted soul, who is ruled by their heart, and although quite ambitious and certain of themselves, they will listen to advice every now and then. After which, they will make up their own mind on how to respond to the advice.

Leo’s are driven to succeed and maneuver their way up the ladder of success regardless of what personal success looks like to them. They don’t like ridicule and resent those that do not pay homage to what they are trying to do. They like rewards and recognition and can be hurt when no reaction comes from all their hard work.

Those with their Sun in Leo (in the middle degrees) will have Jupiter, which is in Sagittarius, trine to their Sun sign position in the near future (check an ephemeris to locate the position of Jupiter through its transit). Jupiter moves into Capricorn in December and makes a quincunx then to the early degree Sun in Leo. Jupiter while in trine offers up opportunities and easy flow to those that their Astrology charts line up with this trine aspect. Jupiter often produces good luck, growth in a positive sense especially linked to goals and aspirations and promotes higher learning sometimes attached to religious or spiritual inclinations already inherent in the individual.

The Sun/Jupiter connection is a positive aspect and in many cases the flow runs easily. Those with this aspect will have to do little in order for things to work in their favour. It is always suggested, however, that we apply some push in order to reach higher heights of success.

There will be times of adjustments for those with their Sun in the later degrees of Leo due to the placement of Jupiter when it moves into Capricorn and also for those in the earlier degrees. The ones with the later degree Sun will deal with the combined energies of Pluto and Saturn in early 2020 which might stir up quite the uprising. Much will depend on the houses (areas of life) being affected and the degree of your Sun as to what will be affected and what you can do with the energies.

Regardless of challenge, any aspect can work out favourably and Astrology points out the best approach to dealing with both the positive energies and the lessons to be learned. With the right information, we can propel ourselves ahead in leaps and bounds.

TRANSITING URANUS TRINE NATAL URANUS

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on July 19, 2019 at 8:30 AM Comments comments (0)

Transiting Uranus has an 84 year cycle. In other words it takes Uranus approximately 84 years to circulate the Zodiac and move back to its original position at the time of your birth. During this cycle, Uranus trines its natal position twice (in a life time). Uranus’ first contact by trine is around the age 28 closely aligning with your first Saturn return, and the second will be at age 56, which is a couple of years prior to your second Saturn return. Both of these positions will vary from individual to individual primarily because of the location of transiting Uranus as well as Natal Uranus by house position.

The first trine of Uranus to Uranus is significant because of the massive changes that occur due to the trine but also because of the Saturn return. The Trine to Uranus initiates a desire for change and the want to break free, (begin anew or start over) so that we can utilize the experiences learned through life to that point.

Uranus wants to shake things up and a trine usually suggests affirmative changes and a desire to break free from the influence of our parents and sometimes our peer group because this time is often referred to as the transition from young adult to a more mature individual wanting to meet their personal responsibilities.

We will want to be able to do the things we want to do and be able to express ourselves more precisely more now than at any other time prior to this period.

With the Saturn return quickly at the heels of this trine to Uranus, responsibilities are sure to come our way and rather quickly. This is a time of gaining inner strength and resilience so we are ready for whatever Saturn’s return will bring. This includes finding a suitable mate if we do not already have an appropriate one, finding an occupation that suits our ever changing needs, which I promise will settle after the Saturn return, and to break free of any restrictive life influences that have been holding us back to this point.

The second trine at the age of 56 is quite different in that we are now in a totally different state of mind and look at life from a different vantage point. We, now under this influence, are not setting the stage for what was important in life when we were 28, as settling into a vocation and raising a young family are now behind us.

Initially, the second trine of Uranus is a time of reflection and reviewing of where we have reached now in life, especially from the time of our Uranus opposition to its birth position at age 42. The changes we made at that stage in our life have taken us to this trine period. We will now evaluate our life experiences and our achievements. In many cases, we will be readying ourselves for retirement which is often the focus in life during the second Saturn return in 2 to 3 years following the second Uranus trine.

We will once again re-evaluate our life’s work and make some decisions on where we would like to go in the next several years. We may work towards early retirement and set the stage for what comes next. Some make massive changes under this influence and as long as we take the time we require to think things over, we will probably be ready once our second Saturn return is in full activation or nearing its conclusion.

What is important now differs from what we experienced in the first trine period as now our personal needs must be met and we will make whatever changes that will push us in our intended direction.

During this trine, it is suggested that we take the time to set a course that will eventually take us to where we might want to see our self in approximately seven years from now (when Uranus makes it second square to itself at age 63).

The second Uranus trine is usually an exciting time which includes a change of direction, one which is required by the soul personality to take us where you need to go.

Both of these periods can be disruptive as sometimes change is inevitable and sudden but under most conditions the final outcome is positive in its nature.

Prepare yourself for change and evolution and an awakening of self. The self that will morph after this aspect may not be recognizable compared to the self of the past.

TRANSITING JUPITER QUINCUNX VENUS

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on July 17, 2019 at 8:35 AM Comments comments (0)

Transiting Jupiter moves about one degree every five days. You can expect the energies of Jupiter to start its expansive, optimistic and often good fortune influences about five degrees as it approaches a planet. Its energies would then starts to wean by the time Jupiter is two degrees past direct. A quincunx, in particular, has a tighter orb of influence than some other aspects, so you can shorten its energy flow to three degrees while approaching and one or two degrees while separating.

Transiting Jupiter on most occasions is what we wait for, especially when it makes positive aspects to our natal planets and points in the natal chart. As it approaches, there may be a general feeling that things are going to grow and fortunate events are in place. In many cases, this is true and especially so when it is connected to natal Jupiter, Sun or Venus.

Jupiter promotes an optimistic approach to life and in general good things can be expected. Much will depend on how it is positioned and aspected in the natal chart which will define its character potential and also how it might be received.

Venus is the planet of love and affection and can also speak of our finances, our valuables, possessions and social conditions. Venus is second only to Jupiter when it comes to being fortunate and when aspected by Jupiter, good things are likely. Even under a little more challenging aspect, like the quincunx or also known as the inconjunct, we are likely to experience fortunate outcomes.

As mentioned, whatever Jupiter touches has the potential for expansion and optimistic opportunities await. When we are speaking of the quincunx aspect, it energies have a need for balance and adjustment. We need to analyse what these energies apply to in our life and then make some adjustments so the energy can flow more freely. Don`t forget, these planets are out of element and modality with one another so the energies need redirecting and diverting. They will not flow to where they need to be on their own. You must intervene.

If love and affection are part of the modality and you have met someone who brings you a general feeling of happiness and potential growth, perhaps you will need to have a little closer look at this individual especially if Neptune is somehow involved. You might not be getting a clear picture of what this person is all about, or your expectations might be too high. Remember the feeling of good luck and good fortune is often abundant at this time, and you probably need to make an adjustment balancing things out.

If the finances are part of the unfolding process, make sure you are not overspending or being too generous at this time. You might not be as wealthy as you feel you are or the funds might not last as long as you think they might. However, under most conditions, in either case, these planets in quincunx to one another are often significators of good luck and opportunities after some adjustments have been made. Venus and Jupiter together even under harsh aspect have potential for growth and valuable experience.

If love is in the picture, this might be a special time in your life. Check to see if transiting Jupiter will go into retrograde and pass over the same degree again. Jupiter can go into retrograde for as long as 120 days and move backward up to twenty degrees. Each hit (to the same degree) will expand the potential although usually unless there are other factors in place, the first contact is the strongest one. The direct motion is usually stronger in its effect than the retrograde motion also.

Jupiter and Venus together will likely be a fortunate adventure. Be sure you make the most of it.

LUNAR ECLIPSE FULL MOON JULY 16, 2019

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on July 15, 2019 at 10:05 AM Comments comments (0)

We will be experiencing a Lunar Eclipse/Full Moon on July 16 at 5:38 p.m. EDT which falls at 24 degrees in the sign of Capricorn. You will have to check your own personal natal chart to see if you have planets or angles lined up with this degree either by conjunction or opposition. Check to see the houses involved as these will be areas of life that will be going through a purge and you will likely want to let go of anything that no longer serves a viable purpose in your life that fall into these guidelines.

This purge is apt to be extreme because Pluto is at 21 degrees Capricorn and Pluto does not work in subtle ways. Pluto is about releasing anything that serves as an obstruction to a new path and it will usually finalize any situation that holds you back from further growth. This can include a relationship, your job, the family and your parents. Much depends on what houses will be involved.

The eclipse is often a tumultuous time when the emotions are heightened and because Pluto is in the picture there may be control issues or ego disputes. You may experience power struggles as either you want to gain or maintain some control or perhaps someone else will be forcing themselves on you. Either way, power struggles are almost imminent, and this can be quite intimidating since control is the issue.

A Lunar eclipse can last as long in months as it does in hours during the actual event. So if the eclipse lasts 3 hours in total, the effects may still be felt up to and including 3 month from July 16.

Because we are experiencing a Full Moon, what was begun some six months ago may be ready and nearing it fruition. You will reap the rewards for the work you carried out. If you have been inattentive to your goals, you may have to disengage or release what was not attended too. We will reap the equivalent of the energy we spent over the past six months to having our goals materialize.

Prior to this time, say about 6-8 weeks, you may have had a feel for how things were developing and what you could have done to make things run smoother.

Saturn and the South Node are also conjunct at this time and this often speaks of past karma being released at this time. The closer the nodes are to the eclipse degree, the stronger their effects will be. The South Node has similar energies of that of Saturn, so it suggests some lessons to learn and also the potential for challenging conditions to deal with.

Capricorn often has to do with our obligations and duties and this eclipse may very well encapsulate these attributes.

Have you been fulfilling your obligations in life to fulfill someone else’s demands or have you been attending to your own needs?

It would be best to approach this question with an idea of what is more in need. Sometimes we need to weigh out things before we begin evaluating what has been taking place. There is certainly nothing wrong with looking after your own needs as well as looking after other people’s needs at the same time. Just don’t spread yourself too thin. Pluto tends to overwork and push us to the limits.

TRANSITING PLUTO QUINCUNX NATAL SUN

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on July 10, 2019 at 8:25 AM Comments comments (0)

Transiting Pluto aspecting our natal Sun often suggests power struggles and transformational energies at hand. Over time, because Pluto can have an effect in our lives for up to 3 years, Pluto’s energies can create ego interference and issues with those that want control over our destiny.

Our Sun, in part, speaks of our goals and objectives as well as our path in life. When Pluto makes an aspect to the Sun, these areas of focus will be under scrutiny and sometimes there can be obstructions.

The quincunx, also known as the inconjunct, is an aspect of 150 degree separation and it has a tight orb of influence of about 2-3 degrees. As a result, its influence will be from 147 degrees to 152 degrees. Some individuals do feel the energies as they approach up to 5 degrees before direct and the energies fade when they are separating by 2 degrees.

A quincunx has to do with a lack of balance and often times the energies of the planets are out of touch with one another. This can be due to the fact that they are out of modality with one another and also out of element. The energies do not connect with one another and an adjustment is necessary.

The quincunx has been linked to health issues due to the sixth and eighth house alignments. It has been said that someone with many quincunx’s in the birth chart may have challenges linked to health, although further review is necessary to collaborate this. The twelfth house deals with chronic conditions and the sixth house deals with health and sometimes with vitality. The Sun and Ascendant also play a role in our health and vitality; so many things need to be taken into consideration before drawing a conclusion of health issues being present.

When Pluto quincunx’s our natal Sun we may need to realign our life’s path as transformations to our goals may be imperative and we will have to adapt. If we choose to ignore the energies, they can come at us in a more aggressive manner. Quite often the outer planets force us into action or push us in directions that, although often challenging, offer up a new direction that is actually more suitable for us than our original or current path.

There may be power struggles with those in authority or if the father or more dominant parent is still living, the problems may stem from/with him.

Transformations are at hand, and we will be swept away by the powerful energies building in our lives. Although things may be challenging and sometimes overwhelming and difficult to handle, our attitude plays a significant role in determining how challenging things might become. Pluto often puts an end to things and starts us in a new direction, fresh from what used to be. We will be pointed in the direction of an unfamiliar path but that is where we need to be.

We will need to check out which houses are involved in the equation in our Astrology chart. Look at the position of transiting Pluto, the natal Sun and natal Pluto as this will provide some insight into how this aspect might pan out in our personal life’s experience.

TRANSITING URANUS OPPOSITION NATAL SATURN

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on July 8, 2019 at 8:25 AM Comments comments (0)

Uranus and Saturn are opposing forces in many ways. Saturn represents discipline, stability, structure and gradual movement towards a goal. Saturn’s energies do not like change or any kind of disruption and they are quite willing to wait for things to settle before moving forward. Saturn’s energies are reliable, secure and offer rewards for perseverance and hard work.

Uranus, on the other hand, represents the need for change and its energies are disruptive which often initiate change. Uranus is a freedom seeking planet, once again, through the agent of change and seeking the new because the old, outdated ways no longer serve a viable purpose.

As you can see these planets’ energies oppose each other and are quite different.

In opposition, which often suggests that the energies in place stem from outside sources (often from the actions of others), we will find that Uranus will uproot what once was a stable and secure situation in life. Often, if intimate relationships are part of the equation, people will separate, new relationships are formed and changes in the most secure relationships take place. If the relationship no longer satisfies the need for more space or more freedom of expression, changes will take place. If someone new and exciting comes into the picture, people may leave what was once a comfortable and satisfying relationship.

The feeling that a change must take place may be felt for some time and this aspect will create an event to take place that will force the change.

More often than not, it is someone else that instigates the change or some other outside influence with the energies of an opposition aspect.

One thing that is frequently associated with this aspect is that longevity is not often a common factor (when it comes to any new relationships).

If this aspect somehow involves the workplace or occupation, changes often take place in these areas. Uranus’ action is often sudden and unexpected, and people will leave places where they have been employed for many years in search for something more in line with what they want or what they need currently in life.

One thing is almost certain, the changes that take place are often seen as drastic with little forethought and the behaviours can be rash. These changes are, however, often put in place because a change of direction needs to take place and as we settle into whatever area of life is going through this process, we will come to realize the reasoning behind what took place, although this could take up to a year to come to light.

As transiting Uranus has moved into the sign of Taurus permanently in March, 2019, your Saturn will be in Scorpio for this opposition to take place. Check your natal chart. If your Saturn is in Scorpio, you will probably be feeling the pull for something new or for change in your life up to 5 degrees approaching and it will take up to 2-3 degrees once it is past the degree of your Saturn before the energies finally settling in.

Check you chart to see which house transiting Uranus is moving through when this aspect takes place. Check which house your natal Saturn is located in. Also have a look at the condition of Saturn in your natal chart, as well as the house that natal Uranus was in within the natal chart to get a clearer picture of what areas of life are involved and how the energies might play out.

TRANSITING SATURN CONJUNCT MARS

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on July 5, 2019 at 8:30 AM Comments comments (0)

In general Saturn and Mars are opposing energies. Mars likes to push forward and energetically moves into life’s adventures with much enthusiasm. Saturn has a lot to do with restrictions and delays and will always take the tried and tested route. It will not push forward until all of the “T’s” have been crossed and all the “I’s” have been dotted. As you can imagine, these two energies work at odds against one another.

The only time they work well together is when you have spent the required time studying a subject or goal and are truly prepared to move ahead. Unfinished work or untidy conditions due to rushing will never work out under a Saturn/Mars aspect. Perhaps you will have a greater chance of success with a trine or sextile but even under those aspects, you will still have to do the ground work and never cut corners.

Saturn is very restrictive in its nature but does provide opportunities for success when the ground work is completed. Mars is always ready to move ahead, so when these two are combined, there is a great push and pull. The energy of Mars is thwarted and stagnated but if we were to pursue something that requires deep study and concentrated energy, following Saturn’s requirements, you just might succeed.

Since Mars stimulates the urge for action and is always pushing ahead, the energy of Saturn can cause problems – even confrontations due to frustration. Arguments and anger often results because of this combination. Accidents are also associated with this combination as we tend to want to rush even when we should be cautious.

We may feel frustration when attempting to move ahead in our objectives, although if we take our time and realize that in order to achieve what we set out to do it will require steady unobstructed hard work, we can actually achieve a great deal. We must learn to be patient and recognize that it takes time to achieve positive results when Saturn is involved.

As mentioned, we can become quite irritable which in turn creates arguments and disruptions in the flow of things. Aggressive action will lead to troublesome times. It might not take much to make us angry as progress is often hindered in some way and at times, seemingly by others. Everything seems to be moving at a snail’s pace, and we just want to get on with things. I suppose Saturn, the task maker, is teaching us patience. We will have to persevere if we want to make any progress at all.

If we focus and stay with our task at hand regardless of intrusion and delays, we have the opportunity to accomplish big things, but not without some challenge that we will have to endure and rise above with this aspect.

If Mars is located on our Ascendant or in the sixth house, we may experience frustrations around our working conditions. Because of these feelings of stagnation, we can begin to feel sick and our health can be affected in adverse ways.

The best thing to do is to accept whatever life conditions seem to come our way with this aspect and realize that it will take longer to complete tasks even if they are important. Sometimes we just need to accept that life does not always go the way we would like it to go, although with a persistent effort and concentrated energy, we will accomplish quite a lot.

HOW DO PLANETS ACTIVATE ACTIVITY IN ASTROLOGY

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on July 3, 2019 at 8:30 AM Comments comments (0)

We have received inquiries as to what activates a planet’s energies in an Astrology chart.

We are going to use Pluto as our example for this purpose. Let’s say that Transiting (Current position) Pluto has been in Conjunction with your natal (birth position) Venus for some time now. Pluto will move very slowly through the heavens. It can affect your Venus for up to three years and for people very sensitive to the energies of Pluto, Pluto’s influence could last as long as five years. Pluto on Venus suggests transformation in your love life or changes directly related to your finances. There are other translations but we will stick to these predominate obvious couple.

We will not discuss the meaning of Transiting Pluto on Venus in detail. What we are concentrating on is “when” this aspect will be enhanced and when to expect activity. The closer transiting Pluto moves towards being direct in this example, (in other words when it is less than one degree in separation or moving towards the specific degree of Venus in your chart), the stronger it becomes.

You ask, however, “what actually activates this transit?” It might become activated when it sits directly on Venus, within 10 minutes or so, but more than likely, it will become activated when Pluto is within range, (so under a half of a degree from Venus’ position), and an inner planet will activate this transit.

The inner planets that activate energies or stimulate action are Mars and the Sun (also Uranus, an outer planet, when it is direct). You can often use Uranus to pinpoint the timing for events within a couple of days. The progressed Moon also stimulates activity and this takes place the closer it is to being direct (same degree). The progressed Moon has an influence for a period of three months, when in aspect. The influence from the progress Moon is when it is one degree approaching, while direct and one degree separating.

For example, if Venus is 15 degrees Capricorn in your chart, as Pluto begins to affect Venus, you will notice some activity, at least on a mental level. When Pluto is about 1 degree or less of being direct, its energies will grow in intensity as it approaches. If transiting Mars or the transiting Sun is moving towards this 15 degree Capricorn, or in opposition (180 degrees) to this degree or in square (90 degrees) to this degree, it will stimulate activity and bring out the potential of what these energies suggest in your chart.

You will also have to look at which house is being transited by Pluto as well as the house natal Pluto resides in within the birth chart as these will be the areas of life that will be affected by this transit of Pluto to Venus.

The trines (120 degrees) and sextiles (60 degrees) from transiting Sun and Mars will also affect the timing but it may not be as noticeable as the square (90 degrees) or opposition (180 degrees) and especially by the conjunction (0 degrees).

The conjunction is widely used as a timer in Astrology. Checking to see when this is activated either from the Sun or Mars will help you to pinpoint the potential for activity. You may be able to narrow down the time to one or two weeks. As mentioned, the progressed Moon especially by conjunction will often activate any planet it makes contact with, and you can often use this as a tool for pinpointing timing as well.

NEW MOON SOLAR ECLIPSE - July 2, 2019

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on July 1, 2019 at 9:45 AM Comments comments (0)

We will be experiencing a New Moon in the sign of Cancer at 10 degrees on July 2, 2019, at 3:17 EDT. At the same time we will also be experiencing a Solar Eclipse. Those individuals that have planets between 7 and 13 degrees of either Cancer or Capricorn (in conjunction or opposition to this placement) will particularly be influenced by this Eclipse/New Moon positioning.

Solar eclipses are strong in their effect for about 6 months, but the overall effect of Solar Eclipses is equivalent in years for every hour that they lasts; so a three and one half hour eclipse will still be in force 3 ½ years from the time of the eclipse, if it makes close aspects within your natal chart. The energies associated with the Eclipse can usually felt prior to the actual eclipse for several weeks.

New Moons are associated with a time to start something new...to plant the seeds for goals in the garden of life. When in the sign of Cancer, the new moon deals with nurturing and often our subconscious is involved. Cancer is a sensitive and gentle sign and family is important. Depending on which house is involved in our personal astrology chart, the nurturing part of you will work in these areas of life represented by the house involved in your chart.

Because Neptune is involved (out by 8 degrees and forming a trine), sometimes love and affection can be part of the process. It will be important not to romanticise the relationship. Do not let your imagination run wild or grasp for far-fetched ideologies. Neptune tends to elevate love and affection and often people put others on a pedestal under this influence. Guard against this, although this might be a match made in heaven and the relationship may flow very well.

Being tied to the North Node suggests that life’s path and important people may come into the picture and push you out of complacency (if you have been in need of a push). Solar eclipses are equipped to make this happen and are known to bring about new opportunities. They can wreak havoc and push for change.

There is a lot of feminine energy associated with the sign of Cancer and intuition may be strong.

Many people, unfortunately, fear eclipses but truth and change are what eclipses actually foster. Many people dislike change and forget to see what great benefits change can bring. You might not feel ready or well equipped to maneuver your way through what these energies are relaying to you, but sometimes change is what is required and the eclipse will bring about the momentum to push ahead.

Domestic matters may be part of the process and if the energies are abrupt, remember they will eventually be positive in their expression. In many ways, these changes will carry good Karma although work is involved with Saturn being in opposition.

Over time, however, Saturn does tend to offer stability and structure to anything that needs structure and/or solidity.

Make sure you recognize and act upon any of your own personal needs that are not being met.

PROGRESSED SUN CONJUNCT NATAL SATURN

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on June 26, 2019 at 8:35 AM Comments comments (1)

The progressed Sun moves approximately one degree per year. In most cases in order to experience this conjunction between the progressed Sun and your natal Saturn, you would have to have your natal Saturn no more than three signs from your natal Sun, unless you would live beyond 90 years of age. This too is assuming that your natal Sun is less than one degree of a particular sign. Your natal Saturn would also have to be located in a sign after your natal Sun, because the progressed Sun never goes into retrograde.

For example, if your Sun was at 1 degree Aquarius then your Saturn would have to be in either Aquarius, Pisces or Aries to experience the Conjunction between the Progressed Sun and Natal Saturn. If you lived beyond 90 years of age, your Saturn could be in Taurus in this example. You would have to take into consideration short and long ascension signs.

The progressed Sun deals with reaching our objectives, following our goals and, if used properly, these intentions materialize in feasible ways. Beyond following our life’s path, the progressed Sun also has to do with inner connectedness and reaching out to find our true self and our inner path. Sometimes these objectives can be achieved through material rewards. Sometimes they deal with spiritual enlightenment and the awakening process. Much, of course, depends on the sign and the house the progressed Sun is in as well as the aspects in play.

Saturn on the other hand always has to do with hard work, learning life lessons, resilience and sometimes a cautious approach. Saturn speaks of delays and sometimes shortcomings as well as restrictions and, above all else, speaks of teachings and lessons learned.

The progressed Sun (and progressions in general) often deals with inner evolution, although the progressed Sun often promotes energies that are quite relevant and noticeable in the external world. When lined up with Saturn, and remember the age of an individual would most certainly play a significant factor, the energies for advancement are often harnessed or we can be forced to move slowly and carefully along the path that we are striving to travel. Saturn will insist that no shortcuts be taken, and planning and preparation are often part of the process. With Saturn, hard work is nearly always a prerequisite for achievement.

Achievement can be acknowledged/achieved in many expressions and although the road to these objectives will take time and work, the rewards are often quite substantial. Saturn does offer stability and structure as the work gets done. In many cases, Saturn also offers longevity and steadfastness. There will be many lessons learned along the way which can provide invaluable information in the future, but again, it can be a rugged journey to learn the lesson.
