TRANSITING JUPITER CONJUNCT THE MOON

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on December 13, 2019 at 8:45 AM Comments comments (0)

This conjunction between transiting Jupiter and the Moon when in force marks a time of positive energy on an emotional level. Jupiter expands on things and adds positive reinforcement when it comes to our nurturing and compassionate side. We truly want to help others, especially those that might be struggling and feel that no one cares. We can give much of ourselves to others without diminishing our self, or without feeling empty. In contrast, we may find that giving without measure, in return, provides us with the emotional support that we might feel we need. This could come in the form of help from others through religious pursuits or spiritual endeavours. We will find that the assistance we seek is easily found.

The Moon has to do with our domestic situation, which includes the home environment and also our group of friends and our actual family. We may feel very generous under this aspect and provide others with what they need. We may find that we are especially drawn to those close to us, and we will invite them into our homes and share ourselves with them more than we might at other times. We want to make them feel at home and at ease in our homes. We will go to great lengths to make them feel comfortable and welcomed.

Jupiter brings with it good luck and often fortunate times. We are quite willing to share whatever comes our way. There may be those that take advantage of our generosity under this influence so we may have to watch for becoming too extreme in our giving. However, most people will see this side of us for what it is and want to give back because of what we have put out (but we give without this in mind). Feelings are enhanced and a general feeling of opportunity coming our way is part of our everyday experiences. Often because of this attitude and belief structure, things actually do go quite well.

The only possible challenging condition that might befall us under this aspect (and this is not often the case) is feeling so good that we become too extravagant and spend more than we should, eat more than we should and do not look after ourselves the way we should. Jupiter wants to expand on everything and sometimes everything will include these extremes as well.

This is a very positive aspect and can help us get in touch with our inner most self. In doing so, this will help us with understanding our inner workings, our own emotional makeup and that which has brought us to where we are in our life’s path.

This aspect can open the door to wider perceptions and intuitive understanding often based on emotional interaction with others. Even if others do not express themselves verbally, we may pick up on the subtle workings of the subconscious under this influence.

The psychic self can open up new dialogue that was not noticed before or can now become enhanced and further developed.

This can be a very beneficial aspect.

FULL MOON DECEMBER 12 2019

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on December 11, 2019 at 8:45 AM Comments comments (0)

We will experience a Full Moon on December 12, 2019 in the sign of Gemini at 12:14 EST.

With a full moon in Gemini, the sun will be in the sign of Sagittarius. All Full Moons are always in opposition to the Sun. A New Moon is always conjunct the Sun (at the same degree, in the same sign).

A Full Moon is the harvest time in the garden of life. We will see the results of whatever we planted some six months ago earlier when the New Moon was in the same sign that the Full Moon is in now. New Moons speak of beginnings and on the Full Moon, it is hopefully the time to reap the rewards of our hard work. If we did not put in the work required, now is the time to pick up the pieces and try again or if there is nothing there that is salvageable, we can plow under the neglected crop.

With the Full Moon in the sign of Gemini, it is quite likely that some six months earlier there were at least a couple of things we set goals for. Lack of patience to see these goals through might have been an issue for Gemini but all things need nurturing and patience if we want to create the best we can. There can be no half measures, and we hopefully stuck with our goals to see them through to fruition. Because of the Gemini influence, our project may have encompassed several different aspects and perhaps the changes that took place along the way had to happen in order for us to get to where we are now.

This Full Moon is in Gemini at 19 degrees and in order for this to have a significant role in our personal Astrology chart, we will need to have an adjoining planets or angles tied in closely to this degree. The planet or angle as well as the house position of the planet and also the house position of the Full Moon will define what areas of life are involved.

Remember when deciphering this Full Moon, a planet or angle that is conjunct this position will be the strongest and will add intensity to the equation.

The opposition (180 degrees) will often indicate the involvement of someone else and quite often they are the initiators of what takes place.

The square (90 degrees) will produce tension and because of this tension we are often forced into action to help alleviate any issues.

The trines (120 degrees) and sextiles (60 degrees) work favourably and help foster growth and easy flow along with opportunities.

Transiting Saturn plays a part in the delineation of this equation as it is in quincunx at 19 degrees in the sign of Capricorn to this Full Moon’s position. Saturn tends to challenge even the best of well laid plans but if this is what we have done, planned well, did not miss any steps and worked hard toward our objectives, Saturn can offer rewards and solidify our goals. However the quincunx often suggests that adjustments are necessary and we should not overlook this in our calculations. So have a close look at this project and we might want to make some minor adjustments or some major ones; much will depend on the work we did prior to this Full Moon.

Let’s see how this pans out over the long haul although some Astrologers believe that things move forward quickly regardless of which path we may take.

If we do need to pick up the pieces and start again then be it as it may. Do not get caught up on what might look to be a failure. If we look at the experience correctly, it is actually a valuable lesson. You never know how things will turn. Sometimes what looks like a wrong turn or a failure can present us with the best options possible for a wonderful outcome. The outcome may not look like what we intended but it can turn out to be results that are far beyond our wildest dreams.

If our goals grew exactly as we nurtured them to, we can enjoy the fruits of our labour.

TRANSITING URANUS CONJUNCT NATAL MOON

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on December 9, 2019 at 8:35 AM Comments comments (0)

Before we go into the definition of this aspect, it is important that you review the placement of Transiting Uranus as well as where the Moon is placed in your own personal natal chart. These will be the areas of life that are affected by this transit. The conjunction does not necessarily have to have negative effects if there is positive aspects between these two bodies in the natal chart, or if the Moon is very well aspected in the birth chart.

The transit between the Moon and Uranus does suggest some change on an emotional level that can be quite disruptive, particularly if you have been following a ridged emotional pattern where you have not allowed your emotions to be released or expressed. Any restrictive behaviour in terms of how you have been handling life from an emotional perspective is now subject to reckless and possible impulsive behaviour. Your mood can vary considerably under this transit, and you might find your emotions very hard to control.

Incidents involving women, particularly your Mother, can come under attack during this aspect. Things intensify and your relationship may go through some struggles, or changes may come suddenly out of nowhere. Sometimes you are the one orchestrating these behaviours, and other times it may stem from others. This can involve women in general and in the case of men with this conjunction, they may find that they are attracted to women that may be eccentric or original in their behaviour, particularly if Uranus is conjunct Venus in the natal chart or if it is found in the seventh house. Sometimes these women come into your life to help you move forward in ways that you may have been stagnating previous to this time. Other times they are just disruptive and cause trouble to the normal routine, although things may have felt rather dull before this conjunction but they will certainly not feel that way now.

The Moon has to do with your emotional response and your emotional needs. If you are supported in your life and you have been nurtured especially when you were young, your emotional expression would relay this to the outside world. You may be nurturing yourself and want to look after others and play a mother role or a nurturer for them.

If, however, your emotional upbringing was anything but smooth, you may have difficulties expressing your more sensitive side, especially if you have other factors in your chart suggesting this, such as strong Capricorn tendencies. Things may change during this transit and you may have to deal with either being taken advantage of, or you may not respond well in emotional ways. Change is what Uranus’ energies are about--required change and also freedom of expression. If these have been hindered, this may be the time for such things to be reviewed and changed.

The Moon also has to do with your domestic life. This could include your actual home or if you own property, your real estate might be subject to change such as a move or making changes within the home’s environment. Some look for cottage property and some just do some remodeling to make their environment more comfortable.

Watch for being too impulsive at this time. Above all else, this is a time to truly get in touch with your feelings.

THE MODALITIES IN SYNASTRY

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on December 6, 2019 at 8:50 AM Comments comments (0)

We discussed Synastry in our post on November 20, 2019. Today we are going to go a little deeper. As we discussed, Synastry is a comparison chart of two individuals. It looks into the aspects between planets and points in the two natal charts. But we also need to look into the modalities between these individuals to get a clearer understanding of how these individuals relate with one another.

The modalities are Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable.

The Cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Because Cardinal signs are known for being active, ambitious and have a wish to be involved in what is taking place, they are known for being motivated. Strong Cardinal individuals are usually quite strong in their beliefs and will argue points when they deem it necessity. They will not sit back uninvolved and therefore may be involved in arguments and disruptions. If both parties have strong Cardinal energy in their charts, together they can be involved in a somewhat stormy relationship.

The Fixed signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.

Fixed individuals tend to be just that, fixed. They can be fixed in their opinions and are not easily swayed. They can be resolute, persistent and are also known for having strong wills. As a result, these individuals tend to not be very flexible. Sometimes they feel the need to speak their truth but other times they do not feel the need to prove that they are right. They recognize that it is not important to sway others into what they believe. Some Fixed individuals however may push their beliefs due to their persistence. In relationships where there are many combinations of the fixed signs, there can be a somewhat standoffish attitude as they refuse to be pushed or pressured into things.

The Mutable signs are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. Mutable individuals tend to be flexible, versatile and somewhat flighty. Although they are adaptable and restless, they can also be moody and not satisfied with things for any extended period of time. They need versatility and change in life and therefore are not always reliable. In some cases a relationship with these individuals can feel as though they are overly picky as they seem to see all the little flaws in the flow of the connection. There are likely to be many ups and downs with this connection, although it really does not matter which modality you are talking about, as, any shortcomings can be rectified if both partners are willing to do work to make it work.

PLUTO IN TRANSIT

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on December 4, 2019 at 8:45 AM Comments comments (0)

Pluto’s abilities to transform and regenerate are highlighted as it travels through the birth chart. There is nothing subtle about Pluto’s influence and you will be quite aware that something needs to be changed or altering when Pluto’s influence is activated. Pluto’s energies are abrupt and disruptive and the changes that Pluto will put on the table need to be addressed and then transformed so that you fit life and its current state more appropriately. When Pluto is finished transiting through a house or linking up with a planetary placement, its energies will have significantly changed things and usually in a very permanent manner.

Pluto is sometimes associated with physical death and is usually activated in the chart in some way when someone in our lives passes over. When activated, most times, it does not always mean literal death, but it does mean that a condition or life element is no longer suitable for you and needs to end in order to bring the birth of something new into existence. Therefore, Pluto does signify the death or end of a situation and then the beginning of something new. Pluto, as mentioned, is not subtle in its release and sometimes you have opportunities to make these changes and other times, they just happen with little or no control from you.

If Pluto links up with Mars or Uranus, you actually need to be careful and make sure that you do not put yourself in a dangerous situation. If you have a square between these planets there will be challenging conditions and they come at you for a reason. You will have to watch for arguments and aggressive behaviour especially if Mars is connected and particularly if the aspect is an opposition. The trine and sextile are not as aggressive and usually suggest transformation at a higher level. Although somewhat challenging to accept, the energies resulting from the trine and sextile will benefit you in the long haul.

Uranus is more unpredictable and this is the one you need to watch out for when it is aspecting Pluto . You will have to be attentive when, for example, driving a motorized vehicle. Operate any time of machinery or equipment with more care than normal and never rush. Do not go out and drive in fits of anger either. Take the time to settle yourself down before driving.

If you are confronted by an aggressive individual, do not put up a fight unless you have no choice. Whenever possible, walk away from confrontation during such aspects.

These examples are extreme cases and will also involve other planets making aspects that suggest the same before such energies will be released in such a powerful way. There needs to be at least 3 aspects in a chart, each saying the same thing, before events such as these will take place and much depends on the other planets involved and the angles they are making. I would be remiss if I did not mention this however.

The aspects to Pluto can be rather tumultuous experiences, but you will learn a lot from them.

In general, we learn much more from adverse life conditions than the mild, easy flow experiences. The standout experiences seem to be our natural way of learning. We will have to spend a little time meditating on how the energies can be released in a more gentle yet positive manner.

SOLAR ARC

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on December 2, 2019 at 8:40 AM Comments comments (0)

When using progressions or reviewing the progressed chart, the Sun moves approximately one degree per year. Progressions use the formula of one day is equal to one year of life. So when someone is 30 and they are born on December 1, 1950, then on December 30 1950, they are experiencing their 30th year with the progressed sun. This is not exact, although very close. Much depends on what is referred to as ascension. Those born from October to March will be very close to one degree of solar movement per day at any time in their life. Those born in the other months (April through September) have what is referred to as a slower ascension and will need to add one year of life over a period of 30 days of solar arc movement.

Solar arc direction uses the same measurement with all the planets and angles as well (Ascendant and Midheaven). Every planet advances approximately one degree per year as well as the angles. For example, at age 60, all planets and angles will be making a sextile to their natal positions. Another example, at age 45, all the planets would be making a semi-square to their natal positions.

This process, along with transits, is used in chart rectification. If we do not know your correct birth time, this process can be used but you will need to be very adept at astrology to utilize this tool with any type of success.

There are several well-known Astrologers that have written marvelous books on solar arcs, one of those being Noel Tyl. The practice of using solar arcs has been in use since at least the 1800’s and therefore is not a new astrological component. It is also a reliable source when it comes to the timing of events, as are transits and progressions. Solar arc is a fascinating subject and will add to your reserve of astrological knowledge as you grow with your astrological teachings.

Solar arc along with transits are used in the birth chart rectification process (pinpointing the birth time). This, however, is a lengthy process and to try to detail the process here would only frustrate our readers as it is one of the most challenging processes used in Astrology. As mention earlier and I cannot reiterate enough, a full understanding of Astrology and much experience using the many tools that make up the science of Astrology need to be utilized to perform this task successfully.

TRANSITING VENUS THROUGH THE NATAL CHART

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on November 29, 2019 at 8:50 AM Comments comments (0)

Venus is the planet of love and attraction. Its movement through the zodiac is quick and often very passive in its energies. Its influence lasts not much longer than a day or two, but while in retrograde can stimulate an area of your chart for much longer. In retrograde, Venus can pass over a specific area of your chart several times and highlight that area for the duration it makes contact.

Venus often draws things to you and this could include romantic involvement, social attractions, financial conditions, creativity and the list goes on. It often suggests that this is a time to enjoy. Venus in its highest form is love, pure love; and its connections can bring wonderful experiences.

Venus in, almost any, aspect to another planet or significant angle has positive ramifications. Even under the more harsh astrological aspects, such as the square and opposition, Venus often brings fruitful conditions although you may have to work to get there.

Saturn is often the only contrary planet as it seems to test love and affection. Saturn is the teacher and can create work, although the final rewards may be a satisfying relationship if the foundation is built on solid ground.

Venus factors “growing into maturity” under a more stable and secure structure.

Under the influence of Venus, it is a time to have fun, go to parties, host parties and socialize with others. It often suggests pleasant conditions and fortunate encounters. Venus can bring beauty and refinement into your life.

Check to see which sign and house your natal Venus is located in to get a clearer picture of how Venus interacts within the natal framework of your specific chart. Also check to see which house and which sign transiting Venus is moving through to get a clearer understanding of what areas of life are affected and under what energies its influence will affect. The aspect it makes to natal planets has a huge impact on how the energies gel and how they will be released.

Enjoy your Venus transits when they are activated and have some fun. Make the best out of a good thing.

MINI FORECAST FOR THOSE BORN WITH THEIR SUN IN SAGITTARIUS

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on November 27, 2019 at 8:40 AM Comments comments (0)

This forecast is for those born under the sun sign of Sagittarius.

We mentioned in our previous post on November 22, 2019 that Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn are making semi-sextiles to those who have their Sun sign in Sagittarius during this upcoming year. We also talked about how semi-sextiles are an opportunity aspect with ties to being in the right place at the right time. See our post from November 22, 2019 “Sun in Sagittarius 2019” for details.

Pluto is direct from October 2, 2019 until April 25, 2020, when it goes into retrograde from this April date until October 4, 2020.

When Pluto is in its direct motion, it moves from 20 degrees 38 minutes to 24 degree 59 minutes. During this time of direct motion, Pluto’s energies are not hampered, and they are allowed full expression. Pluto’s orb of influence is 5 degrees approaching and 2 degrees separating. As a result, if your Sun falls within these degrees, Pluto will be making the semi-sextile to your Sun in 2020. When Pluto is in retrograde motion, its energies are not allowed full expression. They are restricted.

Pluto provides power and influence to any planet it touches. While Pluto is direct, it is said to have the power to lead the multitudes and create massive change in an outward expression. While it is retrograde, as mentioned, it is not allowed full expression and is hampered somewhat. Under retrograde influence, Pluto is more tied to following the masses rather than leading them. The changes it offers up are more internal and personal in nature although it can also have an effect on others although more in a perceived negative response.

While connected to the Sun using the above mentioned orb of influence, the semi-sextile will provide opportunities and the potential of being in the right place at the right time, in areas related to goals in life and life objectives sometime come into view. Transformations take place and regeneration of plans set forth prior to this time now may seem to fall into place. Sometimes we have to work towards these objectives and other times they appear to fall into our lap. But the timing seems perfect, and it will be up to the Sagittarius individual to take advantage of these opportunities and use them accordingly.

In retrograde motion, they may have to work a little harder to orchestrate these plans and if Pluto crosses over the same degree as the Sun sign’s position, they may find that the final forward motion is the best opportunity to advance. Semi-sextiles actually have a smaller orb of influence due to the fact that they are considered minor aspects. As a result, use an approaching orb of 2 degrees and a separating orb of 1 degree as the orb of influence. All major aspects have a larger degree of influence than minor aspects.

These goals that the influenced Sag individual might be pursuing can be very personal in nature and could include occupational advancement or achievement, path clarification, marriage partnership, business associates and personal objectives such as health related plans which can be set in motion. If they choose to follow these actions, they can lead to better health and wellness. These individuals may be spiritually centred and may pursue these types of goals. There may also be power opportunities and a general push for advancement in life.

2020 is a good year for those that fall into this category to pursue what matters most to them and if they follow up they might very well find that they ARE in the right place at the right time.

It can certainly be beneficiary to use astrology to help plan. We should always take advantage of the opportunities at hand to advance in the direction of choice. Sagittarius Sun individuals can enjoy and make sure that they use this fortunate position to not only advance their personal experiences but also to promote the same for others. Karma can be a wonderful thing although we should be moving ahead helping others without regard for what it might bring back our way. This is true love and provides a great sense of fulfillment.

If you are interested in obtaining further information on the energies affecting your life as a Sagittarius individual (or any Sun sign for that matter), the length of time they will last and the areas of life affected, we can prepare a chart of your choice to provide you with valuable information which can be applied to your life’s mission and the path you are on. There may be many other avenues of expression available to you.

NEW MOON - NOVEMBER 26 2019

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on November 25, 2019 at 8:50 AM Comments comments (0)

On November 26, 2019, at 10:07 a.m. we will be experiencing the New Moon at 4 degrees in the sign of Sagittarius. This New Moon is indicative of a new start or the beginning of something that could be viewed as an optimistic advancement pertaining to growth and expansion. This could deal with life’s philosophy in the moment, spiritual insight and the desire to move in a new direction because there is the need for a shift or adjustment to what has been in place up until this point.

This adjustment may be required as our growth has become dormant or life circumstances no longer serve a viable purpose. That which no longer serves us can be stopping us in some way from moving ahead in the direction that is more suitable at this point in our lives. This can be a new beginning as mentioned but it will take some adjustment due to Uranus, which is currently at 3 degrees in the sign of Taurus, is making a quincunx to this placement of the Sun and Moon.

In some way, we may find that we are at the right place at the right time and the move, although somewhat disruptive and perhaps even somewhat unexpected, is due to the time being ripe for adventure or exploration. Mars is making a semi-sextile at 4 degrees Scorpio and the positioning exemplified may be short lived. By early December, the influence of Mars begins to fade somewhat, so the time to take advantage of these energy is right now.

There may be opportunity for travel and perhaps we may be planning on taking a trip of some sort especially if this placement is found in the ninth house of our natal chart. Perhaps there is a change of residence or a move taking place in our work especially when the fourth and/or tenth houses are involved. Perhaps this speaks of a relationship of significance such as a marriage partner or a romantic involvement and the seventh would be indicative of the marriage partnership while the romantic involvement might speak in terms of the fifth house involvement.

Remember we require a close connection to either our natal planets or an angle in our birth chart especially by conjunction or opposition for this New Moon to have an important effect on our chart. Regardless of what takes place in personal terms, our most significant input in these actions taking place will be our attitude towards what is happening. Life always happens for a reason and we should not disregard anything whether it is a difficult lesson or beneficial experience. Know that life always takes us in the right direction even if the unfolding process is slow and tedious or quick and responsive for that matter.

Enjoy and make the best of the situation and be open to life and its ongoing influence and messages.

SUN IN SAGITTARIUS 2019

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on November 22, 2019 at 9:00 AM Comments comments (0)

Today, November 22, 2019, the Sun moves into the mutable, fire sign of Sagittarius. Because Sagittarius is one of four mutable signs, (the others being Gemini, Virgo and Pisces), Sagittarius individuals have the ability to bend with life’s circumstances. They can adapt to situations and can also be restless and changeable. Sagittarius is easy going and usually friendly and optimistic about life’s opportunities. Even when they are faced with adversity, they truly believe that something good is just around the next corner. These individuals can be lucky, and life seems to usually point them in the right direction. This is mostly due to their ruling planet which is Jupiter, the planet of good fortune and expansion.

Fire signs are enthusiastic about life and often have a lot of energy and drive. They too will have to assert themselves at times if they want to move ahead in life. Sagittarius can rebound well and need to have a certain amount of freedom in their expression.

Sagittarius individuals do at times have foot in mouth disease as they tend to speak their mind with little forethought. They are well meaning people and are liked by most. These individuals are happy go lucky and considered fortunate by many. Again, as mentioned earlier, these individuals do need to focus their energies if they want to succeed.

Those with their Sun in the sign of Sagittarius, depending on what degree, will be experiencing the semi-sextile aspect to three planets into early spring. Jupiter will be in the sign of Capricorn most of 2020 so it will be making this aspect to those with their Sun in Sagittarius at some point in time this upcoming year. Those with their Sun in the later degrees will be experiencing the semi-sextile to Saturn into March, while those with their Sun in the late mid-degrees and well into the later degrees will have this aspect with Pluto for quite a while yet.

The semi-sextile is an aspect which is considered favourable and is also known as a minor aspect, so a tight orb must be allowed. No more than a two degree orb should be considered. The semi-sextile is an aspect of opportunity and is suggestive of being in the right place at the right time. Much will depend on what houses are involved and this will be represented by the areas of life being affected. You will need to be sure that you take advantage of these energies while they are present in your chart. Do not squander the opportunity.

For further explanation you must also consider the other planetary influences during these periods of time. The whole chart always needs to be deciphered as well as the natal potential that exists within the framework of the birth chart.

Enjoy these energies and explore your potential Sagittarius.

PURPOSE OF AN ASTROLOGY CHART

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on November 18, 2019 at 8:50 AM Comments comments (0)

In Astrology, the Natal or birth chart is a snapshot of the heavens at the instant of birth with the planets frozen in time. The planets, their placement and their angles to each other as well as specific points in our natal chart tell the individual’s personal story.

Once we are born, the planets continue their movement around the zodiac. The birth chart or natal chart placements, however, remains in the same place for our lifetime. The movement of planets after our birth is known as transits and progressions. We will not go into any great detail here, but it is suffice to say the movement of planets and the stationary planets of our birth chart will make aspects to each other and will tell a story over and above the story told by our Natal chart.

When these transiting (moving) planets align with natal planet placements (and much depends on the overall condition of the natal chart), areas of your life defined by the house positions of the transits and progressions as well as the house positions of the planets in the natal chart are activated and life events and reactions begins to unfold. This unfolding is experienced on an intuitive level at first when the transiting planets begin forming an aspect (angle between these links) and then can be experienced on an external level through events as the energies become enhanced by the joining up of other planetary influences.

Astrology can pinpoint when these areas of life will become activated and how these energies may affect you. However much depends on your attitude you have during the activity and the duration of its effects on your life and to the intensity of what transpired. Astrology prepares you for this upcoming energy entering your life and can provide you with clues as to how to deal with the energies and events or take advantage of what may transpire over the coming periods while the transiting and natal planets’ energies merge.

Astrology can be used as a tool and a guide to assist you in overcome obstacles, to assist you to prepare for periods in life when things may not run smoothly but also to prepare you for times when great opportunities will be laid in front of you. These opportunities may not materialize if you do not recognize the prospects that are available to you. Astrology gauges the energies of the activity and provides you with suggestions on how to utilize these energies as they enter your life.

For those wishing to take advantage of these early signs and use Astrology as a guiding principle in their lives, astrology is a viable “advertisement” of opportunities to come, both with the easy flow and with harder lessons. Transits and Progressions offer a window of seeing rather than moving forward without insight of the potentials that lie ahead. An Astrology chart provides you with the upper hand.

Astrology is a tool of reference that can be applied in many areas of life. The birth chart provides the initial backdrop suggesting who you are, how you naturally cope with life and how you can take advantage of opportunities that come your way.

Astrological guidelines are not written in stone as we have free will and can react to any given situation in our own way but we are predisposed to reacting a certain way and the chart will indicate this. A chart is a tool to assist us in dealing with life as it unfolds with less resistance and with more personal awareness.

We have the tools available in life to overcome any adversity and also to take advantage of all opportunities. Astrology is one of such tools. With your own personal decisions combined with information provided by Astrology, you can direct your life and enjoy the natural flow. Take advantage of the information Astrology provides and have a leading role in your ever unfolding journey.

UNDERSTANDING TRANSITS

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on November 15, 2019 at 8:35 AM Comments comments (0)

Our birth chart or natal chart is a snapshot of the heavens at the moment of birth with the earth in the centre. The earth is surrounded by all the planets. This snapshot of the heavens (the birth chart) remains intact as long as you live, nothing changes. The moment after birth, however, the planets (although frozen in the natal chart) begin to move again which are call the transiting planets. On most chart diagrams, the transiting planets are located on the outside of the circle and the natal planets are located in the centre of the chart diagram. Each transiting planet moves at a different speed. They can also move in different directions (direct – moving forward; stationary – appear to not move at all; and retrograde – appearing to move backwards).

Again, the moving planets after the moment of birth are called Transiting and the deciphering of these placements and the angles they make (aspects) to the natal planets and astrology chart angles (MC, Ascendant, IC and DC) tell the current and future story of your life. There are many aspects these transiting planets can make to the natal (birth) planets (both Major and Minor aspects). Some of these aspects are considered challenging but teach valuable lessons. Other aspects are easy flow. Much depends on what angles and planets are involved.

When a transiting planet, for example, makes an angle of 0 to 10 degrees separation (moving away) to a natal planet, the energies merge and become one. 0 to 10 degrees is called a conjunction which tells of an emphasis and it elevates the energies of the planets involved (or the angles it touches). The conjunction is most strong when the two plants are 0 degrees apart. As they begin to separate, the energies begin to weaken and usually within 2-3 degrees past direct, the energies are basically gone. Saturn, which is the exception, does last longer and is often at its peak 2 degrees past direct. Everything associated with Saturn seems to be delayed.

Another variable with the transits and what they are saying involves the house placement that the planets are found in. For example, when a planet is moving through the seventh house, the seventh house matters will be involved. You not only look at the transiting planet’s house but also look at the house that the natal (same) planet is located in as well as the house any aspecting planet is located in. You also have to look at the natal house placement that the transiting planet was located in within the birth chart.

In other words, if Uranus is transiting the seventh house, the seventh house is enhanced or activated. If Uranus is aspecting the Sun in the 10th house, the 10th house is also highlighted. If Uranus is natally in the fourth house then you also have to take into consideration what the fourth house signifies. You would be looking at the 7th house, the 10th house and the 4th house to get a full picture of the aspect between Uranus and the Sun.

When delineating transits, it is important that you understand the duration of the transits. All the outer planets have a greater impact on your life because they move slowly. Pluto can have as much as a 3-4 year impact on your life. The most powerful will always be when planets are direct. Direct contact can last as long as one to two years.

Faster moving planets have very quick influences and as a result, move out of influence quickly. There is no lasting impact from the inner planets.

NODES OF THE MOON

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on November 13, 2019 at 8:40 AM Comments comments (0)

There are two nodes of the Moon - the North Node and the South Node. These areas of the chart are always in opposition (180 degrees apart).

The Nodes are known as destiny’s gate or the axis of fate. These Nodes have a karmic and spiritual relevance and some say they are the meeting point between the higher powers and humanity as a whole. This is where the spiritual energies enlighten humanity with their life’s mission. These nodes speak of where we should be heading (North Node) and where we have come from in a past life that has significant ties to this one (South Node).

The South Node has connections with our past, and we bring with us qualities that we can use in this life to help us connect with our current life’s mission. The South Node is an area or energy that we are comfortable with, as these energies are instinctively familiar.

The North Node, however, is completely new and rather unknown to us. Most of us are a little uncomfortable with the energies of our North Node (NN). However, life tends to keep pushing us towards our NN objectives. We are linked to the NN as this is what we need to learn and to develop and use as our journey continues.

It takes some courage in surrendering to our NN energies and direction in life. New areas are opened and revealed to us over time, and they are necessary talents to be acquired in order to facilitate the growth required by the soul.

The North and South Node often provide us with information so we can decipher why we have come into this life and what our purpose truly is. It is said that what happens in this life is tied to what we have experienced previously.

The North Node is known as the dragon’s head while the South Node is known as the dragon’s tail. These nodes although coming from different perspectives will aid in our quest and foster growth through life’s experience that will eventually lead us to where we are meant to be.

The North Node and South Node are defined by sign and house position. For example since they are always 180 degrees apart, if you have a NN in Pisces in the third house, you will have a SN in Virgo in the ninth house.

The house position is similar to having the ruling sign position. As a result, if, for example, you have the NN in the first house, it is like having the NN in the first sign (Aries). The SN would be in the seventh house which would be like having the SN in Libra. Between the Nodal sign position and the Nodal house position, you will get a good idea of what life’s mission might be.

Many in early life are led by the SN node tendencies as this is a comfortable place. As we mature into ourselves, we begin to develop our NN abilities and move into our destined path.

FULL MOON IN TAURUS NOVEMBER 12, 2019

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on November 12, 2019 at 8:50 AM Comments comments (0)

We will be experiencing a Full Moon in the sign of Taurus at 19 degrees today, November 12 at 8:37 a.m. EST.

It has been noted that the energies of a Full Moons have a reputation of being rather aggressive particularly with actions taken by some people in the general public. Violent actions such as assault and accidents are known to be heightened when we experience the energies of a Full Moon. This of course is not always the case although incidences are noted to increase by emergency responders.

Astrologically, the Full Moon speaks in terms of eliminating and removing unwanted material in our lives. Often times, it speaks of a culmination point when we will need to address situations in our lives (determined by the house positions) that will now need to be addressed and changed or reviewed and then formulated to take specific action. It is important that because of the lunar effects and emotional interactions that are often accompanied with a Full Moon that we make sure that we are in control of our actions and that we are not led astray because of emotional over reaction.

The Full Moon can, as mentioned many times in previous posts, also be the harvest time in our garden of life. Now is the time to reap the benefits of all of the hard work we have carried out to reach our goals (particularly the ones that are associated with the energies of the full moon).

A Full Moon in the sign of Taurus may speak of solidification or a need for structure so that things can be steadfast and reliable. Taurus seeks stabilizing conditions and is intent on building a structure that will stand the test of time. So if this were focused on a relationship, it would be wise to make sure that this is what you want long term in your life. If this has to do with your occupation or plans of action it would be important that you make sure you are putting your right foot forward under this influence.

Transiting Pluto will be making a trine to this position which suggests that although potentially disruptive and dramatic the likely effects of this Full Moon will be transformational in positive ways which are often understood at a later date. Pluto sometimes speaks of an end or close to conditions and after a personal review of these conditions after you will be pointed in the proper direction even if it does not look that way at present.

Pluto will insist that you get to the route of the situation and explore what needs to be regenerated. Once this has been done things will transform so that all connected with this energies will be more suitable down the road. This is a trine aspect which does suggest a somewhat of an easy flow, fortunate conditions and positive outcomes as time passes and things settle.

Pluto is the agent of transformation and its actions can be intense or subtle but much depends on the situation at hand and how the rest of the chart correlates with these energies.

At the same time, we also have (although rather short lived) Mercury which is in retrograde moving across this positioning from November 9-14 and again in early December, 2019. Mercury while in retrograde is suggestive of a time to reflect and to make plans but not to take action if at all possible. When Mercury returns to its direct motion is the appropriate time to move ahead. Again, November 9-14, 2019, is when Mercury is retrograde and making an aspect the Full Moon. The last couple of days of November and into the first 3-5 days of December is when Mercury is direct and influencing this placement.

It is important to know that you will need planets or angles (especially the Ascendant and MC) within approximately 3-4 degrees of this placement in order to experience this Full Moon’s energies in your life personally. Take into consideration the type of aspect this lunar position is making to your personal chart as well as the house positions in play.

PLUTO RETROGRADE

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on November 11, 2019 at 8:50 AM Comments comments (0)

Pluto moves in and out of retrograde several times each year. It remains in retrograde for approximately 150 days a year, often lasting for several months at a time.

Transiting Pluto is a powerhouse in the horoscope, and it intensifies in strength when it makes aspects to planets and points within the natal chart or the progressed chart. The orb for influence in the transit of Pluto can be felt for those with a strong sensitivity up to 5 degrees while approaching (0 degrees being direct) and 2 degrees separating (after being direct and moving away). While in progression, it is most significant when it comes within 15 minutes of being direct.

When Pluto moves into the retrograde motion, it intensifies and becomes very powerful. The transformational abilities linked to Pluto increase and the regenerative abilities are enhanced. Any power struggles can also become much more apparent when Pluto is in retrograde, so it is wise to avoid interaction that could lead to intense situations, especially if linked somehow to the planet Mars or Uranus.

It may be very challenging to avoid situations that require change especially when Pluto transits a planet while in retrograde. It could be considered a time for cleansing and a time to release any worn out or outdated attitudes. It is as though you are addressing a list of things to do that was written last year. It is wise to review and remove those items that no longer apply and add more important requirements that are relevant to your life today.

During retrograde motion, it is a good time for inner study and to dig up issues that have been buried for too long. It might not always be pleasant what you initially find but these challenging conditions will need to be confronted and dealt with. Any patterns in your life that have reached a state of uncontrollable insistence can best be addressed now and dealt with and changed (usually on a permanent basis).

Much (as always) depends on which house Pluto is transiting and also the house that Pluto is located in within the natal chart as these will be areas of life that will undergo Pluto’s transformative energies. You may be forced to challenge any issues you dig up and bring to the surface.

An example might be communicative challenges if transiting Pluto is moving through the third house or if natal Pluto resides in this house. Also you should look to see where Pluto’s ruling sign (Scorpio) is found as this will also indicate where these changing conditions might become apparent.

Those with Pluto retrograde at birth are known to have great recuperative abilities and they can withstand illnesses that might be considered debilitating for many others.

We would suggest that you review how Pluto is aspected in the natal chart. Also review the aspects linked to the planets that transiting Pluto is making aspects to during its cycle in order to get a feel for how these areas of life along with the energies associated with the planets involved will affect the overall conditions of this very significant transit of Pluto.

In general, it is a good time to get in touch with any issues that need dealing with or cleansing. Review to see what your inner needs may be. It is a time for inner reflection and transformation that usually takes a year or two to unfold.

On an outer level, it is also a good time to begin exercise programs and detoxifying diets that help cleanse the body but do not forget your spiritual needs at this time as well. Enjoy the rather intense transformation that often takes place as Pluto moves into direct and retrograde motion affecting planetary links and important positions in your birth chart.

NEPTUNE RETROGRADE

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on November 8, 2019 at 8:40 AM Comments comments (0)

The outer planets remain in retrograde for longer periods than the inner planets. Those that have Neptune in retrograde in their birth charts will certainly be affected. Those that have Neptune stationary in their birth chart will be even more powerfully affected.

“Powerfully” may not be the appropriate word as Neptune’s energies operate in very subtle ways. Its influences are felt often through intuitive channels and the unconscious mind.

In direct motion, Neptune often suggests cloudiness with our reasoning, potential deception or we may not be facing facts. In its higher representation is suggests idealism. It also could suggest a romantic involvement often associated with an idealistic view of the partner or situation. It is also linked to artistic abilities coming to the surface.

Neptune is linked with fantasy and visions while in direct motion, but its energies turn to reality and dealing with the actual facts when in retrograde. Openheartedness and level-headedness linked to common sense are terms that could also be associated with Neptune’s retrograde cycle energy.

Since Neptune deals primarily with the mystical and spiritual side of our consciousness, during the time when Neptune is retrograde, you may find that you realize more concrete solutions or answers to questions pertaining to these pursuits. This applies particularly to those with Neptune retrograde in their birth charts. Look to see which house Neptune is transiting through during this cycle and also look where Neptune is located in your birth chart.

Neptune’s retrograde cycle is approximately 150 days in length, and it spends about 14 years in each sign. Its return cycle is approximately 165 years, so we never experience its return in our lives. About 40 percent of people have Neptune retrograde in their birth charts. As a result, Neptune’s retrograde energies are quite common.

When Neptune is in its direct cycle, there can be a cloudiness about life, depending on how it is aspected in the birth chart. There may be deception and deceit or often illusion and disarray when it comes to seeing things as they are. When Neptune turns retrograde, it becomes more genuine and more lifelike as Neptune can be illusionary when direct. It is more reliable and life becomes more real although what you see, at times, may not be all that pleasant. There can be a real feeling of let-down after a period of feelings of idealism and wonder but the truth is what we want, regardless of how it may look. Because of Neptune’s influence, when we view the world as it is, a part of us still wants to see it through rose coloured glasses. There is the unrealistic hope under this retrograde influence that what we see might just vanish; but it will not, and we have to face facts.

Life becomes more practical and realistic with the retrograde cycle, and this can also include “visions” that are real. This can also include mystical understanding that is also real and identifiable.

Neptune retrograde is not a bad thing but it is truth in a broad scope.

URANUS RETROGRADE

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on November 6, 2019 at 8:40 AM Comments comments (0)

Uranus’ energies are very revolutionary. They seek freedom of expression and have a strong desire to remove us from anything that has gone stale or no longer serves a viable purpose. Uranus’ energies act in unexpected manners, and you can never be totally sure how they will respond under pressure.

Under most conditions, the area of life being affect by Uranus will be the house it is transiting through especially when in retrograde motion. There is often a feeling that something has to change or be shaken up somewhat before its expression is activated. Quite often, you get warnings of necessary changes in the area of life under its influence when in retrograde and then when it turns direct either you make the necessary changes or life makes things happen for you. If you choose to do nothing, life will often take a leading role and see that the changes take place. More often than not when changes are forced upon us, they may not be overly pleasant in their expression. Things can happen at the spur of the moment, suddenly, unexpectedly, without warning.

Uranus motto could be “Expect the unexpected”.

When a planet is in retrograde, the energies related to the planet and the house(s) it is transiting are stifled or held back. The energy is turned inward and a time for review is at hand. It is a time to re-think things, to re-do things and in an attempt to repair things, you can prepare for when the energies are released so that you can move forward in the new direction of choice. The best time to move forward in your objectives is when the planet goes direct.

Uranus suggests that this is a time for inner reflection not only about your life but on a more personal level – the level of “who you are”. It often provides you with more freedom of expression and you just want to be you, or the new you. This is particularly so if Uranus is retrograde in your birth chart. (Any planet that is retrograde in the birth chart becomes more powerful when it turns retrograde through transit.)

Uranus is known as the awakener and this is what it will try to achieve in the area of life dictated by the house it is transiting through in your chart. You should also have a look at the natal placement of Uranus by house and also by aspect as this will give you clues into how things might unfold. As with all of the outer planets, Uranus will make suggestions along the way but it will often create a course with little or no direction or input from you.

Life happens and things change. Uranus will be the instigator behind these actions, but remember regardless of how drastic and challenging the conditions may be, Uranus always provides you with exactly what you need. The end result is or will be beneficial.

When Uranus goes direct, this will often be the time when these areas of life that are involved will be motivated to move towards the new and to make necessary changes. Again these can be in disruptive ways but just for the moment. Do not spend any time worrying about how things might manifest, as Uranus acts on impulse and without warning and often releases in ways that you cannot be prepared for.

Remind yourself, as these changes are taken place, that these are happening for a better future.

Some people fear changes. Those who are more evolved, or open to the new, know that when the timing is ripe and change is necessary, it should be welcomed with open arms. Uranus will take you where you need to go, so be open and listen. You will know which avenue to take, if life does not dictate, that is. You have freedom of choice on your response however.

SATURN IN RETROGRADE MOTION

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on November 4, 2019 at 8:40 AM Comments comments (0)

Saturn has a 28 year cycle and remains in each zodiac sign for approximately 2 and ½ years. During its cycle, Saturn moves into retrograde on a regular basis and about 15 degrees of each astrological sign experiences the retrograde motion of Saturn.

To show the contrast of the energies of a retrograde planet, we will look at Jupiter. Jupiter often brings good luck and expansion in its direct motion but when in retrograde motion as discussed in our last Astrology post, its energies are similar to Saturn while it is in direct motion.

Saturn’s energies in direct motion are restrictive. Its energies are challenging and can make life difficult. Saturn is known as the teacher and disciplinarian of the Zodiac.

On the other hand, Saturn’s retrograde energies work similar to Jupiter’s energies when in direct motion. As a result, the extreme energies apparent with Saturn in its direct motion become somewhat softened. Saturn direct normally deals with past issues but while in retrograde, it can and will open doors to new things that somehow we may feel familiar with, even though they are new to us.

Some Astrologers link Saturn with diseases that have longevity and the duration of their affects are sometimes lengthened due to the influence of Saturn. When Saturn is retrograde in motion, any recovery process with these ailments may become sped up and often the individuals that are involved feel more carefree and worry-less about these conditions in their lives. This is beneficial as any focus or concentration can enhance illness and draw even more energy into these areas. In many cases, disease can stem from adverse reactions to life’s events and it is wise not to allow obstructions or hard lessons to become personal or to own them. This free flow attitude can provide us with ease of moving beyond these experiences.

Saturn is often linked to business in some way including searching out a new career, entering into a study programme or beginning a new business. During the course of transiting Saturn turning retrograde, it is wise not to enter into any news enterprises or business dealings. It is best to wait for Saturn to turn direct before moving forward in business related activities, even if you may feel somewhat positive about the outcome. Utilize this retrograde time to review your plans and make sure you are ready to move ahead. When Saturn turns direct (even though things might stagnate for a little while or be slowed down) another planet in transit will come along to start the process of moving forward.

Check to see which house Saturn is transiting through in your birth chart as this will provide you with some specifics. Also check to see which house natal (birth) Saturn occupies. These houses will both be areas of life affected by the retrograde motion of Saturn.

When Saturn is direct in its motion, these areas will be avenues you can move ahead in although it is wise to take things slowly as you move forward. Saturn insists on structure and a solid foundation.

If Saturn is poorly aspected in your birth chart, the house where it is situated in may require additional hard work and a conscious effort to resolve any issues related to that area of life. Since Saturn often points towards a dominant individual in your life (sometimes the most restrictive and strict parent or an authority figure in our life), Saturn retrograde in the birth (natal) chart has been associated with that particular individual somehow missing in your life. The most authoritarian parent could be away often perhaps on business or actually missing from your life in early childhood.

Wherever Saturn is found in a chart, whether it is in retrograde motion or direct motion, this is often an area of life that requires more work and challenging conditions to overcome. However, it should be pointed out that Saturn is the educator as well as the disciplinarian in the chart, so it also rewards hard work and diligent efforts.

MARS IN RETROGRADE MOTION

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on November 1, 2019 at 8:45 AM Comments comments (0)

Mars traditionally is reflective of energy directed outward. During its retrograde cycle however, those affected by this transit may feel stagnated in their efforts and feel as though they had little to no energy. This is particularly true if you have a natal planet in conjunction (the most powerful aspect), square or in opposition to transiting Mars. These aspects are known as maleficent energies when associated with Mars, the planet of aggressive force and drive, although the conjunction can be released in many other ways. Much will depend on the sign and house position as well as aspect to this conjunction in the natal chart.

When Mars is in its retrograde motion, the energy is turned inward, which is not a comfortable expression of Mars’ energy. You may feel that you could neither release your inner drive nor could you motivate yourself into a forward direction. You may feel a release of that energy once Mars turns direct again and what previously felt restricted or held back may now come to the forefront and be released. Make sure that the release of these energies is not in an aggressive manner, even if you have felt thwarted in the past few months. Mars can be quite forceful in its expression.

If, for example, transiting Mars in retrograde was conjunction with the Moon in your chart. You could have felt as though your emotions were on hold or even though you had strong inner emotional reactions to life’s events and situations, you were not able to release those emotions. This could have included the want to make changes in your life. Your emotions were so stifled that they kept you at bay and nothing seemed to have moved in the manner you wanted. All you really wanted to do was to express how you felt on an emotion level. After Mars turned direct, you would have been able to express yourself which is what you wanted for what may have seemed an eternity.

A further example, if Saturn had been involved in the equation with this retrograde Mars, this cycle would actually have been to your advantage as you undoubted had needed that time to examine all the details before you plunged into some activity.

Most planets in retrograde suggest a time of review before moving ahead once the planet go direct again, transiting Saturn in retrograde however often works in the opposite. Be sure to watch for our post on “Saturn in Retrograde Motion” coming soon.

Mars retrograde is a time to examine and review all details to make sure that you were prepared and on a solid foundation before you moved ahead. Saturn normally restricts action and suggests that you build a proper base before you move ahead and your drive would have been held back which gave you the perfect opportunity to prepare. Once Mars goes direct again, you may be ready to move ahead in your endeavours.

Mars is also about sexual energies and sexual drive, and you may have felt as though you were stifled in this area. Perhaps you wanted to pursue a sexual union with someone you were interested in and the events never seemed to play out to allow this union to come together. You may find that once Mars goes direct that things move along in ways that were previously stagnated or held back. Just make sure that your feelings go beyond just a sexual nature. Mars tends to be overly aggressive when it comes to sex and the sexual drive, especially when it moves through Scorpio.

Check to see which house transiting Mars is moving through as this will indicate the areas of life involved in the process. Also you will need to review which houses are involved with other planetary energies and how they may surface or fail to surface during the retrograde cycle and again when Mars goes direct. The placement of natal Mars by house position will also be highlighted. Transiting Mars may pass over planets or significant areas of the natal chart (ascendant and midheaven) three times as it goes through the retrograde and direct cycles making these areas of extreme importance in your life at that time.

If Mars stations on a planet or significant point in the birth chart, it will also be noteworthy.

JUPITER RETROGRADE/DIRECT MOTIONS

Posted by holmastrology@gmail.com on October 30, 2019 at 8:40 AM Comments comments (0)

When Jupiter goes into its retrograde, this cycle lasts about 120 days and will move between 10 to 20 degrees. Jupiter goes retrograde every year and as retrogrades usually indicate that the energy is not strong or its full expression is restricted, Jupiter in retrograde still offers up opportunities for expansion and optimism, although somewhat challenged when it is in touch with Saturn.

You can use an orb of 3-4 degrees when determining if Jupiter will affect any of the planets or important points in your natal chart. As it crosses these placements, the energy of Jupiter will increase. As I write this post, Jupiter has been direct since August, 2019 and its positive expansiveness is considered to be alive and well.

Under normal conditions Jupiter is known as the great benefactor, but it is said that when it moves into retrograde, the energies of these characteristics seem to fade and its normal opportunistic influence is felt on an inner level. On the material side of things, however, it is less effective but still present. It is suggested that if you are considering buying property or big luxury items while Jupiter is in retrograde motion that you reconsider and wait until Jupiter is once again in direct motion. Much depends on the natal aspects to your Jupiter. In general, Jupiter’s energies are not as lucky in retrograde motion as they are under direct motion.

When this planet moves into retrograde, its impact is felt on an inner level rather than in our outside world. During a retrograde cycle, you can benefit greatly if you focus on inner growth and awareness. Getting in touch with you and objectively view yourself making alterations along the way as this would be very beneficial.

Jupiter is the planet of expansion and is connected to spirituality and the philosophies of life that have deeper meaning. If you have a look at the house it is transiting through as well as the house it is located in your natal chart, these will be areas of life that you can do work on and transform in ways that will suit you better (when Jupiter is direct again). It is a time of introspection when Jupiter is retrograde.

Remember to view Jupiter even when retrograde on a positive note, even if what you see or if your life’s direction is not what you thought it was. Under the retrograde influence you can make adjustments to the way you have been living your life, transform your life’s direction and put yourself on track with where you should be going.

Jupiter in retrograde is connected to the lessons in life that are required during that specific time. Be honest with yourself under this influence, and you will be able to re-examine your truths and gauge these with a keen eye in order to decide what you want to change and what is worthy of keeping. These are often aspects of yourself that need some tweaking, in turn creating a higher version of yourself on track and ready to move in your intended direction. Look inside yourself and find those inner riches.

While under the influence of Jupiter in retrograde, if you are making plans on going into a business venture, make sure that you take the time to consider all the aspects connected to making this decision. You may find that you will make great expenditures when Jupiter is retrograde. This is not always a wise decision and likely not one you would make if Jupiter were in direct motion. It is actually best to wait before making any decisions, unless your natal Jupiter and the planets connected to it in the natal chart are quite “well” aspected.

Check to see what the natal chart is saying and then make your decisions. Just make sure that you are viewing these contacts with clarity and watch for expanded optimism.

As a side note, the next Jupiter retrograde will be May 15, 2020.

Once Jupiter has gone back into direct motion (again this year was August 11, 2019 and in 2020 it will be September 13) and is making aspects to other planets in your natal chart, you will be able to gage what areas of life might be affected and the potential outcome of actions taken once Jupiter is direct.

Jupiter is a very positive influence in your life and will enhance most experiences, especially when linked to higher forms of delivery.
