ENERGY VAMPIRES

Some of us live in a very toxic environment.  We may be in regular contact with people that know nothing more than to take and take and take. This can be challenging to say the least and it may be difficult for some of us to recognize that we may even carry some of their energy. 

Energy Vampires

There are many individuals that are high maintenance mainly because they are not willing to do the work themselves.  It takes courage and dedication to tackle some of life’s issues, but in the end, we, ourselves, must fix our problems, and we cannot and should not rely on others.  For those that have become reliant on you to do the work for them, it may be time that you make an adjustment and let them know that they must be willing to do the work themselves, as no one else can do it for them.

For those that are clinging and have become dependent on you, by stepping back you are helping them find independence. You are denying them self-reliance and the confidence that self-reliance provides. No one can do the work for others. We can only support them in their decisions and sometimes plant a seed that may guide them in a better, easier direction.

If you feel drained and all of your energy is sucked out of you, you had better take some time to work on healing yourself.  You cannot feed anyone from an empty pantry.

You do not help someone by giving them all the answers or trying to do their personal work for them.  You are standing in the way of their growth and recovery.  Over time, you may be creating a dependent and hurting yourself by becoming a victim.  It is not being selfish to take a break from serving others for your own sake or to break free of energy vampires that would drain you fully of your energy.

Do an internal audit. Do something you enjoy. Where might you want to focus next? 

You DO need time for yourself.  We all need a little bit of space.  Take this space and fulfil your own needs too.

URANUS SEXTILE NATAL MERCURY

Currently (June 2024), transiting Uranus is at 24° in the sign of Taurus.  It will remain in its direct cycle until September 2, 2024, when it moves into its retrograde cycle.  You can use a 5–7° orb of influence to your Natal Mercury.  You should also look at Uranus in your natal chart along with the transiting position of Uranus.  Any aspects that Natal Uranus will also have an impact along with its house position and Mercury’s Natal house position.

While in its direct cycle which makes Uranus full in its expression, you can expect a disruption to what might be considered the norm.  You likely need to change on some level because things have either become dormant or you need a new direction.  Uranus will awaken you to new possibilities and push you in the direction these new avenues of expression have the potential to flourish.  It may take some time to realize the consequences of the energies, but know that after this connection, you will be exactly where you are required to be.

Uranus sectile Natal Mercury

A big part of what this sextile between Uranus and your Natal Mercury is about is mental reasoning.  The mind or focus is what this aspect is about.  An awakening is in the process of unfolding or is already in place depending on where your natal Mercury is situated in your chart by degree. 

A new train of thought, new daily activities, the formation of ideas that may enhance your perception or your life’s route and new concepts may now be activated.  You may have to grapple with these ideas especially if you are not comfortable with change but change you must if you are to awaken to new possibilities.  Those reluctant to change may have difficulties with this placement and especially those that are fixed in their opinions and belief structures. 

Even the way you express yourself may be invited to move in a new direction and others may see what is taking place and may not understand what is going on.  This may also affect siblings, daily activities, short distance travel, and schooling.  If this is a young individual experiencing this, some disorientation may be part of the process and their early educational activities may be subject to change. 

Some individuals will make plans to travel and often this may be nearby trips.  What we are referring to is this does not speak of long-distance travel.  Sometimes we decide to have a visit with our siblings or visit our aunts and uncles.

We may find that we have interesting and thought-provoking conversations that we would not normally have. 

Uranus sextile natal Mercury is an opportunity aspect and although often things just seem to fall into place, for more advantageous energies and opportunities to fall into place, we would do well if we initiated action that is required to make things happen.

ARE YOU A SLAVE TO YOUR THOUGHTS

Have you been experiencing a feeling of being pulled away from what used to be? 

You may be being asked to step forward or are being propelled forward.  The time is ripe for advancement and accomplishment on some level.

What are you now willing to do to advance, whatever advancement may look like for you? 

Do not allow setbacks to stand in your way. You can persevere and should never give up because of any challenge, big or small.

It may have been a while since you felt any type of momentum. You may be concerned that the time is not quite ripe.  Are you willing to take that chance and move forward anyway? 

Will that next step be advantageous, or will it hinder in some way? 

We all need to take the time to consider the consequences of our actions but at the same time, we cannot let fear rule. 

Slave to Our Thoughts

Are you a slave to your thoughts?

Remember, you are not your thoughts; you are the one listening to them.  You choose which ones to adhere to and which ones to let go of.

Believing in yourself is imperative. Do not get caught up in the mind’s interference past or present.  Some have been a slave to their thoughts for most of their lives. Now, however, is a great time to recognize that there will always be chatter in our minds but it is a choice whether to listen or not to listen. Take advantage of any opportunity that presents itself. Step beyond your fear!

Take advantage of the energies in place in your life right now.  You are always ready for a breakthrough if you allow it to happen. 

Here’s to conquering your focus, your fears and any life lesson you may be present with.
