As soon as you wake in the morning, program your mind to be positive as that which you put in place in the morning follows you throughout the day. If you get up in the morning expecting a challenging day then that is what you will experience. What you place your expectations on is what will manifest into your day and over time into your everyday.

If you get up in the morning and start with a thought such as, ”My day is beginning and what a blessing it is going to be. This is another chance to set things in motion that will bring happiness and contentment to my life” you have started the new day’s journey on a positive expectation. It may sound absurd but it is a good starting point. You may experience a few unexpected intrusions during the day but your mind set is programmed to move above and beyond these.

Negative reactions to life events are ego interference. We are not our ego and we do not have to listen to its negativity and ignorance. Let it babble without owning the words. The key word is “believe” and over time if you are persistent and appreciate all the little things in life, you will experience gratitude in all experiences in life. Life will be life. It will never be perfect if we feel it will not be. Little interferences do not need to hold you back or tie you down. The choices are yours. Do you want to be happy or do you want to be frustrated and irritated?

It is beneficial to programme yourself at night as well, just before you go to sleep. Say a few words of inspiration and review the blessings of the past day. Give thanks for the day even if it was a tough one, because you recognize that even the most challenging day have much to offer.

You can also remember your dreams by programming yourself in this same way. Bit by bit you will start to recall your dreams and they will provide you with assistance through riddles and recognition of where you are in this moment of progress. Remind yourself of the benefits behind everything and follow through with positive expectations.

It may take some time to get things going, but over time if you are a diligent study, life will change for the positive. It will begin to get a little easier and you will allow yourself to experience more and more happiness along the way. You will notice these experiences even in the smallest of ways.

To re-enforce the changes as they may be gradual, write down the good things that happened to you and let go of the hard lessons unless you can turn them around and find the positive behind what took place (which you can if you look deep enough). When you can find the positive benefits, write them down too.

You alone make the decisions of how you will respond to life and each of its events. Do you want to be happy and filled with gratitude? Do you want to be upset and feel that life is unfair? The choice is yours.
