The Transit of Pluto square to its Natal positioning usually occurs around the late 30’s but can extend as far as to the age of 60.  Much will depend on the Natal positioning of Pluto in the birth chart and the placement of Pluto during its transit.    As a side note, transiting Neptune makes a Square to Natal Neptune into the early 40’s and Transiting Uranus makes an Opposition to its Natal position around the age of 41-43.  Finally, Chiron makes its return to its birth position between the age 49 to 51. With the understanding that all of these placements are extremely significant, no wonder this time in life is referred to as the mid-life crisis.   Transiting Pluto Square Natal Pluto We have already discussed many of these placements in past articles, so we thought we would focus on the transit of Pluto squaring its Natal position.    Pluto’s action is usually quite intense, although it can make its way forward in a rather subtle manner in the early stages.  Over time, it certainly makes its presence known.  The energies are often attached to psychological matters and often forces us to look deep within at any of the so-called dark or hidden areas of our nature.  These areas are considered taboo, and we may not want to face them.  However, this is the time when we will confront our so-called demons, better still our inner fears.   This aspect is a time of deep self-analysis and transformation when we re-evaluate things, especially how we feel about our personal power (or lack thereof) and the control we think we have over life or the control that we think we lack in our life.  This is often a time of personal crisis, because we must be honest and face that which we may not want to!  How else will we conquer our fears and eliminate things that no longer serve us?    We must have a deep, honest, open look at what goes on within before we can make changes to those parts of us we allow to be on automatic pilot.  Letting go is of prime importance, as in many cases holding on is futile particularly to those things that stagnate us. Pluto sometimes demands action from us and if we do not act, it will force action onto us in a more dynamic or drastic manner.   It is easy to get caught up in what is taking hold during this astrological aspect, but these are the times when the valuable lessons are in place, and we can learn a great deal.  We come out stronger, more resilient, advanced in our understanding and ready to challenge life in a much more mature manner.  Do not fear transiting Pluto square natal Pluto.  Learn from this aspect. Aspects to Sun in Capricorn 2025 We posted an article on December 17 for Sun in Capricorn.  Today, we will review some of the transiting outer planets making aspects to the position of the Capricorn Natal Sun.   Saturn and Neptune will be making a Square to those with their Capricorn Sun sign in the early degrees. Neptune moves beyond Pisces and stays in Aries beginning in late January (January 26, 2026) and Saturn moves into Aries on February 14, 2026.  Both planets enter Aries on a permanent basis in 2026 but have an influence on the Capricorn Sun prior to these dates as they maneuver their way forward.   Saturn, the planet of structure, and Neptune, the planet of obscurity and the intangible, can create havoc when they square your Sun.  There likely will be power struggles when it comes to your plans, the personal changes you might want to make and your path ahead.  Saturn likes the familiar and what feels comfortable. Saturn’s energies are unwilling to change even when change is necessary.    Neptune may not see things clearly, can be vague and may be unsure of which path to take.  Neptune, however, also leans towards the mystical and finding our way through avenues that are not considered concrete which, of course, is what Saturn wants.   You will have to weigh out the pros and cons. It will be necessary to organize ideas into viable structures and to find a happy medium. Although Square aspects are known to be quite difficult, they also push us to find resolution and can bring great rewards for hard work.  The square aspect forces us into action because the tension is too challenging to ignore so you must work your way forward to find resolution. This, as a result, makes square aspects valuable as we must act.   The astrological houses in your chart where these planets are located will indicate what areas of life are influenced.  For example, the fourth and seventh house might have something to do with family and the home, and challenges coming from the marriage partner concerning what action you feel you need to take.  If it is the tenth and first houses involved for example, changes or challenges might be in place at work which will affect you on a personal basis. You will need to adjust and find ways to alleviate the worries that you experience during this aspect’s influence.   The are many possibilities depending on the houses involved. You will also have to look at any other transits or progressions making contact at the same time in your astrology chart.  Look at the natal potential of your Sun, Neptune and Saturn as this will help you find a resolution to what is unfolding.    The aspects to Sun in Capricorn 2025 by Saturn and Neptune have opposite wants. Purposeful entanglements Each and every person we meeting over our life’s journey has purpose for us.  Some are long-lasting while some are quite fleeting.  Some bring important messages and teach us lessons along the way.  Some are here to show us something within ourselves, some are wonderful attributes and others that need to surface so we can make changes. Some can even appear to teach us about the enjoyment of life.   Not all lessons being taught by others are easy ones.  Some can be very disruptive or challenging, while others, bring out the very best in us. We learn to endure hardships with these people, sometimes through direct influence and other times through life’s ever-changing directions.  The true meaning of deeper love and affection can come through sharing life’s ups and downs. If we can ride the storm together, we often come out stronger and more resilient and with a deeper connection.   Some relationships can be quite difficult, both emotionally, psychologically and physically. There is value in trying to work through the difficulties as long as both parties are willing to work together.     A love relationship, for example, can drift as we can become complacent. Every relationship no matter how deep the connection requires work and that work must take place daily.   In many cases, the change that begins the process of healing must begin with you.  Both parties are part of the picture, but it takes one to start the process. Once taken, it will take both people to address a solution.    Take responsibility but don’t take it all.  It takes two to create any situation.  It does not have to be you that begins the process of healing, but it might as well be you. Let the healing process begin. Winter Solstice The Winter Solstice (Hibernal Solstice) takes place on Sunday, December 21, 2025, 10:02 a.m. EST in the northern hemisphere. December 21 will have the least amount of daylight as the sun will be at its lowest arc in the sky for the northern hemisphere. Shortly after December 21, our precious sunlight will begin to increase again (only by seconds in the beginning.  The additional light will be more noticeable in the evenings.) As much of nature sleeps and the light is limited, we can use the long nights to reflect on our life’s journey. Go inward and plan your intentions for when the energy and the light return. Follow Mother Nature example as she knows best. Many animals are now hibernating or slowing down, resting and waiting for the return of light, for the return of warmth, the return of the energy that nurtures us mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Our obvious current lesson is patience. Utilize this time wisely.  You can use it to look deep into your shadow self. Bring light to the darkest corners of your being but do not judge what you find. Is there a shift taking hold in your life?    Are you entering a new phase of development?    Quite often after a period of what feels like stagnation, we begin to enter a new phase of progress.  Our focus may shift and we step in a new direction.  It’s time for growth!   This may be expected or more often than not, completely unexpected.  We become so wrapped up in the process that we don’t recognize that change and growth are happening.  In most cases, the entry level is subtle, and little seems to shift, but after time, we begin to notice that something seems different, that we are being drawn in a different direction.   In many cases, especially in the beginning, it is internal, but then the internal changes reflect out into our world as well. Our outlook seems brighter, colors more vibrant, the wind and temperature more outstanding.  Although the manner of expression seems to be directed towards outside stimuli, in reality we have already changed within.  Again, all things begin within and then are noticed on the outside.   The Ever-Changing Backdrop of our Lives The shift does not have to be a total life change (but it can be). Change can manifest itself in small but important relationship changes, occupational transitions, or even changes in our appearance.  Outside manifestation moves in areas that we will recognize and perhaps others will as well, (although at times, only we realize the change that is happening).   Prior, we may have been felt we were ready for change or knew that something had to shift. Alternatively, we may not have had any idea that a shift was coming.  One thing is for certain, the changes taking hold, whether barely recognizable or life changing, are in place for a reason.    Shifts happen when change is required.  We are ready even if we don’t feel we are.  The ever-changing backdrop of our lives is significant. Transiting Uranus Sextile Natal Midheaven When Transiting Uranus is Sextile your Natal Midheaven (MC), it is also trine to your Natal Imum Coeli (IC).  Both aspects are considered very fortunate. These aspects are what we wait for and unfortunately, they do not come frequently.  When they do, we will need to take advantage of the energies available.  Uranus takes seven years to move through a sign and its cycle back to its original position in the birth chart takes 84 years.   Uranus acts in unpredictable ways.  Its action is often sudden and unexpected, coming out of the blue with little, if any, warning.  It brings with it change that is a requirement for the soul because what has been in place, now no longer suits your evolutionary growth.  Uranus is known as the awakener and moves you to exactly where you need to go.   The MC or Midheaven has to do with our career, our goals and aspirations, our status and the recognition we get for our efforts.  In some cases, our status will change when we marry or when we divorce; Uranus might be involved with these events especially if the 7 th  house is also part of the equation.  Look at the Natal position of Uranus and its aspects to get a deeper understanding of what might be taking hold in your life.   Sextiles have similar energy to the Trine aspect but in most cases with a Sextile, we must do the work with the energy to reap the rewards.  Both aspects indicate easy flow and opportunities, but with the Trine things can just flow and move in a fortunate manner with or without our input.    If you find that change is not taking place in your life especially when the energy is directly on degree, you will need to have a closer look at what else is transpiring in your chart with other transits. To understand who you truly are, you would have to go back into your archives, back to where it all started.    No one really knows their beginning, but many believe that this is not the first incarnation of our earthly journey.  Some believe that there have been several other incarnations that have brought us to this current one.   The Real You Who are we, really?   What are we capable of doing?   We are far more than who we see on the surface.  We are the culmination of every lesson we have experienced. We can use the word “whole”, “universe” “nature” and the list goes on. It has been said that the whole or God is indivisible.  We then are a part of a whole which cannot be divided.   Are we attempting to unite that which can’t be separated?    Perhaps while pondering these questions, you might ask if this life is just about material rewards and accomplishments?    There must be some valuable lessons that are taught through this existence or we would not be so wrapped up in attaining and success, at least for those that are.  What valuable lessons are taught through these gains and losses?    Why have we entered this existence which is so tied to achievement and what does this experience teach us?   The real you is spiritual and has much knowledge and insight that can provide great assistance in this life particularly for yourself as you cannot assist others until you help yourself first.    Can we assist humankind on its evolutionary quest as an individual?    Do not, for one moment, think that your part in life is too small to make a difference.  An ocean is made of uncountable single drops of water. Because the North and South Nodes are always in Opposition with one another, the Conjunction of the South Node will be more significant than the Opposition of the North Node.  Conjunctions are the most powerful of the Major aspects, while the Opposition runs about second.    Much will depend on if you also have Natal planets or angles connected to these positions.  Squares will apply to both while Trines give one node a Trine and the other, a Sextile.  The whole chart must be carefully delineated for an accurate translation, but we will look specifically at the energies of Pluto Opposition the natal North Node.   Pluto Opposition Natal North Node With the energies of the South Node Conjunction Transiting Pluto, this will be a time of transformation that is attached to feelings we have attached to security linked to the past.  This may be a person or situation that no longer suits our evolution, and when Pluto is connected, it suggests that we are about to head into a period of letting go and releasing.  It is time to move away from these situations or individuals, and we may have had hints along the way letting us know that a change of direction is heading our way.   There are likely Karmic implications and challenges because we may feel safe under the current conditions or with these people, but the time has come to move forward into our North Node path.  Because the North Node is now in Opposition, in most cases, other individuals will be involved and perhaps they have been trying to make us change our destiny or causing our path to change in significant ways.   There will likely be power struggles along the way, and it may take as many as two years before the journey finally gets on course completely.  Even after this time frame is finished, it will still take some time to fully understand why things went the way they did.  We want to preserve what has been in place, but this will serve little purpose because when Pluto is involved life seems to take over and moves us to where we are meant to be.   This is the time to meet your destiny, and you likely will be fearful because it is new. It will also be exciting although you have never walked down this path before. You will not have a clue as to what to expect.  Your world (area of life depending on the houses involved) is about to transform, and you can help create what is needed by not fighting the process.    You can swim against the current, but you will tire and eventually flow with the current which over time will take you exactly where you need to go.  Listen to your gut. Your intuition may be strong with Pluto Opposition Natal North Node. Do not be too influenced by other people’s intentions.  This time is significant and will set the path for many years to come. Although there are other planets in transit making different aspects to those with their Sun in Sagittarius, we thought we would touch on the two outer planets as they have a stronger and longer impact than the fast-moving inner planetary aspects.    Forecast for Sun in Sagittarius 2025 We will focus on Transiting Pluto making a Sextile at1° Aquarius and Transiting Neptune making a Trine at 29° Pisces.  Neptune will be moving into Aries on or about January 26/2026.    Both Pluto and Neptune will make their aspects for those with their Sun in the early degrees of Sagittarius.  You can allow a 3–5° approaching orb, and a 2° separating orb.  This suggests that these two planetary links will last for at least a couple of years depending on what degree your Natal Sun is in your Natal Astrology Chart.   From November 2025 to June 2026, transiting Pluto will move between 1-5° into the sign of Aquarius and then go into retrograde until October 2026 and then goes direct again at 3° Aquarius.    Pluto’s energies speak of transformation, perhaps bringing an internal change which forces you to view your life on a deeper level and challenging you to make significant changes.  Your goals are subject to change and your path may go through some different approaches as well.  This requires deep integration with the thinking process and challenges you to leave some part of who you are behind or begin anew in a somewhat different direction.    The Sextile aspect suggests that this is an opportunity aspect but that you will have to act to get results.  If you do nothing, this opportunity may not amount to too much or the changes that set in might not be without some struggles or inner conflict.    Transiting Neptune will move from 29° Pisces to 2-3° Aries by the end of 2027, so this is a slow moving aspect having an affecting over a long period of time well into 2027.  Neptune is Trine to those with their Sun in the early degrees of Sagittarius suggesting that there may be a sense that things are moving slowly but firmly in the right direction.  There may be openings regarding your path in a more spiritual direction and/or a desire to be of service to those under less fortunate circumstances.  You will likely feel that you must do the work, and that although others may be involve, you might want to take a leading role.   The path in life may take twists and turns for the better, and where you might have been unclear prior to this time, you are now being directed in a much clearer manner.  You will likely have a feeling that you are heading down the road towards clearer understanding and under much less vague inclinations.  You may feel you are being guided into a service-oriented path that may be tied to spirituality.  Those with sensitivity or psychic abilities may find that their energies are enhanced and these energies may take you into the deeper realms of self.   The forecast for Sun in Sagittarius 2025 involving Pluto and Neptune may be very transformational and evolutionary.  Dive deep within and be open! On November 22, 2025, the Sun moves from Scorpio, a fixed, water sign, into Sagittarius, a mutable, fire sign.    Sun in Sagittarius 2025 Sagittarius is perhaps the most open-minded sign of all the Zodiac.  They love to learn through experience, are open to travel, especially to wide open spaces, love to explore, have a wide scope of interests and are optimistic about what life has to offer.  They truly believe that something good is always just around the next corner, and because of this attitude, doors are open for these individuals that may be otherwise closed to others.   Most Sagittarians love sports and if they are not participating, they enjoy watching, entangled in viewing the event as though they were playing themselves.  Most are agile in their younger years, fond of running, especially cross-country and have lean bodies unless of course Jupiter, their ruling planet, is near the Ascendant or in the first house located close to the Ascendant.  Having Jupiter in the first house is quite different from having it in the twelfth house.  Jupiter tends to expand all it touches and expansion is something they are prone to in many different areas of life.   Sagittarians, as mentioned, are open-minded and ready to explore life’s mysteries, especially when it comes to religious tendencies, not necessarily traditional religion but spirituality and life’s philosophy.    Sagittarius do explore life but often on the surface.
