Most everyone wants peace in their lives and not on a temporary basis.    Realistically, how many of us can create this peace on a full-time basis?   We may allow peace and contentment off and on in our lives, but we never have it on a constant basis because we believe peace to be something that is obtained externally.  We blame life or others for robbing us of peace.   Peace is an inside job!   Peace is obtained through attitude.   We must find peace in knowing that life will bring lessons. Currently (September 2024) transiting Saturn is hovering in the mid degrees of Pisces. Therefore, those individuals with their Natal Mars in the mid-degrees of Taurus or Capricorn will be experiencing Saturn sextile Natal mars in their chart.    Saturn, during this time frame, will be in retrograde until November 14, 2024 when it will be at 12° and then continue back into its forward motion.  This can have a long-lasting effect in your chart depending on the degree of your Natal Mars.   Saturn while in retrograde is much more favourable than while in its direct motion.  Saturn always suggests hard work but also builds solid foundations over time.  Saturn restricts and holds back progress and makes sure that you are doing each step correctly, one at a time. Another day, another dollar, or so the saying goes!   We go to work each day to make a living. We live out our day busy working and, for some, barely making enough to pay the bills, and for others living and breathing their work which they feel defines them.   Is this life just an existence encompassing daily routines, weekly rituals and uncertain days yet to come.    Why are we here?    If work and money are the cornerstone of our lives, is that the “all important” of our lives?    If work defines us for so many years, when we retire, who are we?   There must be deeper ingrained meaning to what practical life is about.  There has to be some significance behind our steady commitment to our obligations in life.  There are very valid reasons for our day-to-day routine, but some of us may not understand the reasons as we may be blinded by the routine.   We look at life from our earthly perspective and because of this, we don’t understand much of what takes place on a different level.     Be open to your inner dialogue. The Sun in Libra aspects 2024 that we are about to highlight applies to those people who have their Sun in the sign of Libra at the degree of influence noted giving yourself a 5–8° orb of influence.  The planets mentioned will be allotted their appropriate degrees as of October 2024 but will change degrees as the year progresses and an ephemeris will be required to see what degrees throughout the coming year.   Transiting Mercury will join up with those with their Sun in Libra from the 26th of September to the 14th of October. Mercury will affect everyone who has their Sun in Libra at some point during Mercury’s visit in the sign of Libra.    The conjunction of Mercury with your Sun is a powerful combination, and the thinking process particularly connected to personal plans and goals in life will be enhanced and, in many cases, understood.  This, in general, will be a good time to make sure that you move ahead with your plans as the mind is focused on these areas.  The rest of the chart always needs to be deciphered to get a clear picture of the energies in place during the Sun and Mercury application as well.   Transiting Jupiter (21° Gemini and it goes retrograde October 8) will make a trine to those with their Sun in the mid to lower degrees of Libra.  Trines carry with them easy flow, opportunities, and good luck.  This is what we wait for and especially so with Jupiter, the great benefactor of the Zodiac.    Even when Jupiter is in retrograde motion, which it will be until February 3, 2025, going down to 11° Gemini, it will still have positive effects although you may have to work a little harder and be more diligent in how you maneuver your way forward.  Jupiter brings with it growth, good fortune, expansion and opportunities for learning.   Transiting Pluto is just entering Aquarius, although it will make a short visit back into Capricorn on September 2 through until November 19 when it moves into Aquarius to stay for many years to come.    Pluto has to do with transformation, and often brings new beginnings because something has to come to an end as it no longer suits your growth potential or no longer serves any viable purpose.  Pluto brings about the death of one thing in order to bring new life with something else into your life.    Pluto also makes a trine to those with their Sun in the early degrees of Libra.  Pluto moves slowly, sometimes only 1° a year so it will have a profound effect on those with the Sun at the same degrees as Pluto.  Pluto not only makes changes on the outside and affects your goals, but it will likely make changes on a personal basis.  It is best not to fight the energies of Pluto as it will make its stand and can force action when being held back. How do we know when the timing is right to move ahead or change direction?    Are we ready for action or change?    How will our action affect us?    These are some of the questions we ask ourselves when we are planning.   We may hesitate because of our mind’s chatter, or we may hold back because of fear and anxiety.  These unfortunately can cause missed opportunities.    So then, what guides us and how do we know if we should advance?    Quite often we get what is referred to as “gut feeling or instinct”.  There is a part of us that knows whether or not we should do what we are about to do.  Sometimes we listen to this advice, and sometimes we ignore it.   This is not to say that we don’t do our due diligence.  That is the first step when we decide to move forward with a plan.   There will likely come a time when we look back and say to ourselves “I regret not taking that step”, or “am I ever glad that I listened to my gut instinct and worked towards my goal”.    There will often be worries or concerns about actions taken, but if we sit back and never follow through, we will never know what could have been.  Fear is our greatest enemy and gut instinct is our greatest supporter.  We must learn to differentiate between the two.   Sometimes things just fall into place and sometimes we need to assert ourselves and work diligently towards that result we seek.  Have no regrets because of anxiety and fear that resulted in no action.  Push through adversity and know that whatever decision you make, it was the right one, no matter how it might look in the present moment.    You always move in the intended direction.  What we consider a mistake is actually an experience teaching us a valuable lesson.    Advice from others can assist, but ultimately, you make the final decision, so you take responsibility and the action.   How do we know when to act?   When is the timing right?   Now is the time to act. Transiting Uranus has been in Taurus (it’s fall position) since March, 2019 (without taking into consideration retrograde movement prior to this). Uranus moves through a sign about every 7 years.  Although still some 18 months away from moving into Gemini, we thought we would touch on this upcoming energy.    All the planets have an exalted position, a detriment position, a fall position and their domicile position by sign.   A planet does not function well in its Fall position.  It is not suited well for the energies which are part of the planet in question and it’s position by sign.  Its energies are not suitable for this placement.  Uranus likes and pushes for change, especially when what was in place no longer suits its evolutionary quest.  It seeks change of direction so it can open doors to new perceptions, new opportunities and awaken to these possibilities.   Taurus on the other hand likes security and stability and does not like change.  It is quite comfortable in situations which provide structure, stability and are reliable.  Uranus is unpredictable by nature while Taurus is very predictable by nature.  As you can see, in short, these two do not work well within the structures they provide or are looking to implement into being.   Although Uranus in not exalted (exalted in Scorpio) or in its domicile (domicile in Aquarius), it will still be much more comfortable in this new amiable and explorative element of Gemini. Gemini is ruled by the mind, is open to new ideas and does not resist change. It knows on some level that the exploration into new and inventive ideas can produce viable results.  Aquarius, the ruling planet of Uranus, and Gemini are both Air signs. Transiting Uranus moving into Gemini will work well.   Although Gemini is a mutable sign and Aquarius is a fixed sign, Gemini can mold into areas that Aquarius might infer.    As we begin to feel the shift of Uranus which begins approximately 3° prior to moving into the next sign, we can expect the beginning of a concentrated focus on bringing something new into existence.  With Transiting Uranus moving into Gemini, we can open doors that have been closed and begin to feel the shift into an area of interest and excitement.  The mundane no longer will be in place, and we are now open to new upcoming intervals with an awakening of sorts beginning to take hold.  What was in place may have suited the environment previously but now needs to shift and move where it is much more comfortable and open to new avenues of expression.   Those with Uranus strong in their charts will be the ones most affected by this transition on the near horizon. There is certainly justified fear.  There are many cases, when fear is in place to warn us of danger.   Fear, however, can also be a part of our life because of our perceptions and our belief structures.  We can live in fear of what might unfold even when there are no indicators that such an event is possible.  Our minds can trump good judgement and take us down roads that do not need to be travelled.  We can be swept away by our thoughts which are not based on reality.  We must step back and recognize our mind’s chatter for what it is and bring ourselves back into the moment (reality).   We cannot change what we do not recognize so recognition of the mind’s chatter is the first step.   Negative viewpoints on life events or people that we associate with can change the course of our relationships at home, with friends and co-workers. These viewpoints can also stand in the way of peace, mentally and emotionally.    Forgive where forgiveness is appropriate. It is essential to look within at our own actions before we lay blame on others. Is our perception clear or is our judgement clouded?   If you are in danger or in an abusive relationship, do what you need to do to change this.   If someone has misspoke, a heartfelt conversation and forgiveness may be the appropriate action.    Take the action needed to move forward whether this entails maintaining the relationship or moving on but do not hold a grudge.  Grudges hurt you; no one else.   Do not act out of hurt and haste when making decisions that are irreversible. Fear and obstructive views are detrimental.
