Our daily routine is not our purpose. It is easy to become wrapped up in this routine and to forget our true calling. If we feel lost in our everyday affairs, listen to that voice within. It will remind us of our true significance and what we are to be doing in the moment. Our calling does not have to be magnificent on the world’s grand scheme of things and our calling will change as we grow. Do not allow ego to lead you astray or to allow you to feel as though you are off target. Each day, no each moment brings a new opportunity to live our lives on purpose and to have an impact on each person we meet along the way. By living without restrictions, we are able to understand and react to our calling. Life continually changes and we will gain new and wonderful insights as time passes. We are always on track and on purpose. Each step we take is magnificent. Waiting for something to happen instead of living in the moment simply takes away from what is currently taking place. It has been brought to our attention that there is a general misconception concerning the evolutionary state of individuals born under specific Astrological signs. We have been asked to clarify if there is any one sign that is more evolved than the others. Does our spiritual higher self (the total and complete sum of who we are, will be and have been) follow a designed pattern with regards to which sign we are born under? In this Astrologer’s personal opinion (and I would certainly appreciate further input from other Astrologers) that no particular sign that is of higher evolutional energy. This is not to say that an evolved Pisces or Sagittarius or even Aquarius might not seem more evolved during this incarnation than for example an un-evolved Scorpio, or ego-oriented Aries. As suggested by this statement each sign carries with it a wide range of evolutionary energies. An evolved Aries could easily surpass an unevolved or evolved Pisces if their focus and carry through is on higher learning and an evolutionary path. It is believed by this Astrologer that we come into this life with a particular purpose and the North Node, our Sun Sign and Ascendant are indicative of this particular path. The other planetary positions add to this equation and aid us in our journey. Each individual has chosen a path found within the planetary alignment. The clearest path to identifying and resolving or conquering our life’s lessons have been laid down for each and every one of us regardless of the timeframe utilized to learn or to activate the learning tools available. The soul or higher self may choose to come back in what may appears to us as a journey lacking in evolution, a journey that appears to be in the primary stages but this is obviously the best route for this individual to learn the lessons required and intended. This does not mean that they are unevolved in a real sense of the word. Their journey only appears as though they are in the primary stage of development. We see such a small portion of the higher self while on this earthly journey. There are also individuals that appear quite evolved during this life. They do their part to assist, to give and to love yet they may be no more evolved in their journey than you or I. In our human form, we undoubtedly do not understand what evolution truly is or the many layers involved. It is believed by this Astrologer that those individuals that have truly found love, peace and compassion and humbly live their lives within the essence of these are evolved individuals. These individuals have something truly significant to offer each of us. Individually, we have our gifts. These gifts are to be shared, and certainly are not to be squandered. What I have not developed, you can help me to realize and what comes naturally to me, I can pass on to you. We are all evolved souls on some level or another. So are you ready to take that leap of faith? Can you move forward without any expectations? Are you willing to let go? When we allow and release, it is evident that life is not by chance and there is no such thing as co-incidence. For many, the concept of believing is enough and they understand that letting go is the ultimate decision that can be made to release ourselves from the grips of the ego. Ego wants full control of our lives. This is what makes us clutch at the past and fear the loss of control. Fear is not a part of the true self. Fear for survival is primal. Fear of the unknown and of events is ego generated. You are whole and can never be broken down or reduced in any way, but the ego because it is not a part of the real person can be abandoned. We should not identify with the ego and in order to truly appreciate life, we must move beyond the ego’s interference. Letting go, in the beginning, is no easy task, because ego is strong when it has gone unchecked. It tells us that what we are striving for may not work, or it may not happen and everything we have worked for may be for nothing. In reality, if something does not work, it has been a wonderful lesson. Has assisted us in growth and when we try again, we are armed with more knowledge and experience. We are perfect in all ways for this moment in time. We control our reactions to life’s events. We control our destiny through our mind’s focus, but who we are at the core just is. Our true self is not contained within this human shell. Our true self is already whole. Letting go of fear, of control and accepting each moment in life is paramount for the awakening of the true spirit within us all. Our true selves will never be lost. At the core, we are energy which is perpetual. We are all one and form part of the whole. Release and allow. Move forward with faith that you are exactly where you should be. Are you currently living with someone that you feel is ready to explode? Have they lost themselves in life’s conditions or events and are overwhelmed and drowning in stress? Mutual Reception is an astrological term given when two planets link together. If for example Mercury was in Leo (the Sun’s natural ruler) and the Sun was in Gemini (Mercury’s natural ruler), the two planets are said to be in Mutual Reception to one another. Another example would be Venus in Cancer (the Moon’s natural ruler) and the Moon in Libra or Taurus (Venus’s natural rulers). One last example for good measure would be if Mars was in Leo (the Sun’s natural ruler) and the Sun was Scorpio or Aries (the planet Mar’s natural rulers). The planets linked by Mutual Reception are said to have an attraction to one another and work well together. They gain in strength and take on each other’s qualities and energies. They almost work as one unit, each gathering energies from the other; it is as though they are creating one new energy. When these planets are in aspect to one another in the birth chart, the significance of the two planets is emphasized and strengthened. If there is no aspect between the two planets, their energies are still linked (unlike other planets that are not linked through aspect). If the aspect between the planets is a positive one, like the trine, the sextile or sometimes the conjunction, the positive energies are linked and operate at an even higher frequency. If the planets are linked by challenging aspects, such as the square or opposition and sometimes the conjunction, the difficulty is moderated or softened. It is fortunate to have a Mutual Reception found in the horoscope and although there are dozens of possibilities, it is not at all a common occurrence. The houses which the planets are located in should also be considered as though they are working harmoniously together and linking up with the area of life involved. To go deeper and to consider the strength of these Mutual Receptions, you also have to take into consideration whether the Planets’ signs are in detriment, exaltation or fall. This plays into the ability of the union to operate on a higher function. Mutual reception should always be considered when deciphering a natal chart, although there will be other mitigating aspects within a chart which will be stronger and more influential than the Mutual Reception. We are fortunate to experience the continual expansion of our insight and of the understanding of our own true nature. Midpoints are considered one of the most successful astrological applications available for predictive abilities. A midpoint is the exact halfway point between two planets or two significant points (Ascendant, Midheaven) or astrological bodies such as Chiron. The Part of Fortune, as well as the Vertex, or other bodies that you use to delineate an Astrology Chart can also be used when calculating midpoints. If, for example, you have Uranus at 11 degrees Cancer and the Moon at 28 degrees Scorpio, the midpoint would be 19 degrees Virgo. If you were to have a planet or significant point in the natal chart that is within a one degree orb of 19 degrees Virgo, that planet /point would be influenced by the energies of Uranus and the Moon and would provide an influence from this planetary position. If let’s say you have Mars at 19 degrees, Mars would be heavily influenced by Uranus and the Moon. With this example, when delineating transits and progressions, any planetary link to this position would also carry these overtones as well as the conjunction to Mars. You can also use the semi-square, the square, the Sesquiquadrate and the opposition when delineating this configuration. These aspects are all divisions of 45 degrees and will bring action, create events and make these events noticeable to the individual and also at times to others that are involved in the equations. Transit Midpoints are very significant when deciphering potential events especially events tied to situations that are suggested by the natal midpoints and the houses involved in the equation. As mentioned, use an orb of no more than one degree when deciphering what potential situations may occur. Midpoints are significant because they will provide the Astrologer with a clearer indication of what potential lies within the bounds of these transfigurations. This can also be applied to any midpoint of any combination found in the natal chart, as the midpoint becomes a focal point when transits or progression join up and make contact with these sensitive points. In most cases when the conjunction is activated between the two planets or significant points and the aspect is direct within one minute, you can expect something to happen. The house location of the midpoint will provide you with the area of life affected. Also, look at the houses the two bodies are located in the natal chart to provide an even clearer picture. Also take into consideration what the planets represent and how this area of life will be affected. For example, the Moon and Uranus and Mars would suggest an emotional experience that would be sudden and unexpected with the potential for aggressive action or progressive movement in the areas of life indicated. Midpoints can pinpoint events although the more angles involved, the harder it is to delineate. Using the midpoint between the two planets is often sufficed in providing additional information. When dealing with midpoints, pay particular attention to the midpoints between the Sun and the Moon, and the Ascendant and the Midheaven.
