Have you been trying, for what seems an eternity, to reach certain goals?    Sometimes there seems to be obstacles no matter what way you turn. You are just about to give up and out of the a door opens that was locked previously.   Many of us have experienced this.   How long does it take for everything to align so our goals can materialize?    If our goals do materialize from all our hard work, will they be what we had hoped for?   Some goals in life do not materialize, while others do.  I have to point out that when some goals do not materialize, we should be celebrating as we cannot foresee some of the effects our goals could have brought about.  On the other side of the coin, reaching our goals can bring about much more than we ever dreamed.   In the long run, the results are not any more important than the effort we put into trying to reach them.  This might be hard to digest when we did not reach our ultimate goal, and all our hard work seems to have been for nothing.  Next time we might dig a little deeper and try harder; or alternative, we might know earlier when to back off and cut out losses.    We gain perspective and learn from our efforts.  We advance in one way or another through what we either accomplish or what we failed to accomplish.  The ladder of success is not always an easy one, but one worth climbing.  Sooner or later, you will reach that ultimate goal even though it may not look like your thought it would. Guaranteed, however, we will be stronger because of our efforts and perseverance.   In the end, it is not just about reaching our objective. It is about building resilience; it’s about perseverance; it’s about building character through our own efforts.    Internal struggles work the same way.  We build resilience when we deal with internal issues and gain strength as we make our way through them.  We learn from our mistakes and once again persevere.  We learn what it is to fail, to fall short, and we learn how to get back on our feet and begin once again.   Inner strength is built from life’s struggles. On Monday, the 19th of August, we will experience a Full Moon in the sign of Aquarius at 27°. This will be precise at 2:25 p.m. EDT.    A Full Moon occurs when the Sun and the Moon are exactly opposite one another.    This Full Moon in Aquarius 2024, if making contact in your chart, will raise your responsiveness and open doors for you to receive understanding of what is happening in your life.  This information is not something new as it has likely been in your awareness for some time.  You may now receive clarity under this influence as you are receiving information either from within or from outside influences.   The Full Moon’s cycle is active for three days and allows you to delve into how you have been addressing mental activities.  Have you been self-destructive?    What now needs your attention?    In many cases, this awareness was first noted when the New Moon was in the same sign of Aquarius some six months ago.  If the Full Moon is influencing your chart, the contact should be within 3° on either side of a planet or angle in your birth chart.  So, for instance, this Full Moon is at 27° Aquarius so either by conjunction (0°), opposition (180°) or square (90°), it needs to be within the 3° range either before the 27 degrees or after.  Trines (120°) and Sextiles (60°) are also activated but their energies are not as noticeable.   The Full Moon is the culmination of what was put in place when the New Moon was in Aquarius some six months ago on February 9, 2024.  The Full Moon in Aquarius may have something to do with fellowship and awareness.  Brotherhood and new beginnings sometimes come to us when they are unexpected, and over time, they change our course.  This is an evolutionary position and often an awakening period.  It could have something to do with future endeavors associated with the house placement of this Full Moon in your chart.    This can have a profound effect on your emotional and psychological state because often we need to let go of something.  Beware of unexpected, undesirable reactions. We experience many highs and lows in life.  We have times of relative calm, mixed with times of heavy downpours of tough lessons.  Life can be irregular to say the least, and we must adapt to all the changing conditions. I have heard the tough lessons in our life being compared to storms.   When rain falls in our life, these are times of solitude and the time of pondering ideas and simultaneously readdressing life issues that have not been dealt with so there has to be rain.  Intensions can be stimulated during these rainy seasons, and we have opportunities to go through details and orchestrate future actions based on what has transpired. You can compare what you have or who you are to what others have or what they can do, but why?    Comparisons only create jealousy or envy towards the other person or a feeling of lacking and doing without. There is no advantage to comparing ourselves to others. Why would we compare apples to oranges anyway?   There will always be individuals who appear to have more than we do or are capable of doing something we cannot. We are not who or what others are or can do. We are our own unique person with many positive characteristics and capabilities of our own. Nothing compares to who we are and what we are capable of doing. You are you and the skills you learn and what you acquire in life is what is needed for your life. We may not achieve our wants, but we achieve our needs.   Accept who you are and what you are capable of doing.  Acknowledge what you have achieved and place no limits on your capabilities.  The door always remains open even in the darkest moments.  It is up to us to advance, to move ahead and challenge ourselves to conquer each life lesson, to better ourselves and to rise above limitations.    Don’t compare your abilities and your success to others.  Be content at least for the moment recognizing and appreciating your achievements.  Be thankful for your life and realize that every challenge, every lesson has made you who you are today and that person is a better, expanded, more knowledgeable person that you were yesterday. Transiting Uranus’ energy impacts us when it makes an aspect to our natal positions. This energy affects our lives for approximately one year and is very powerful when it is direct.  Transiting Uranus when impacting our charts has to do with change and disruption.  However, it does awaken us to new possibilities and new concepts, so it opens the door to realization.    The Square aspects of Uranus occur at the ages of approximately 21 and 63.    Uranus can cause havoc in our lives and often does so in unexpected and sudden ways.  This is all because a change is required. What has been in place is now outdated and needs revamping.  Quite often, we get little nudges along the way making us aware that something is no longer working, and an adjustment is required.  Sometimes, something brand new is part of the picture, and other times, changes to what is already in place is suffice.   The square aspect is a particularly difficult one.  Perhaps, we just don’t want to make changes because we have become accustomed and comfortable to what is in place even though it does not work any longer.    The age of 21 is particularly challenging, partly because of our inexperience and partly because at the same time, Saturn is squaring its natal position.  This can be a rough year of lessons.    At age 63/64, we now have had a lifetime of experience but may also not wish to make changes and may even refuse to do so.  We also have the Nodal Opposition at 63-64.  Also, around 65, Saturn once again Squares itself. These placements can be quite challenging.    It is important to recognize that although the Square from Transiting Uranus to its natal position is a difficult one, the changes that are initiated by Uranus are meaningful ones. Amidst ongoing disruptions, both personally and globally, we can often struggle within ourselves to find a place of peace.    Our busy minds tend to interfere with what we would like to be experiencing. The mind’s chatter can create worry and anxiety. Over time this chatter creates a must for quiet. Peace and quiet are an inside job; they always are created from within.   We can get caught up in the fast pace of life and we forget we are not our thoughts. We are the ones listening to the chatter.  Many of us know this but somehow get lost in the hustle and bustle. We cannot ignore what we must learn in this life, but we can choose to enjoy the lessons and slow down to “smell the roses”.   There will be many struggles in life, if we choose to see them as struggles.   Work your own little magic by living your life with a positive focus and with mindfulness, not blindly rushing through routine and reacting to life events.   By being the agents of change simply by being our authentic selves and focusing on that which brings peace of mind, we take control and build on peace and enjoyment rather than stress and anxiety.   Even with the smallest of effort, we will experience positive change which will provide us the strength and focus to address our lessons in life no matter what they may entail. On August 4, 2024, we will be experiencing the energies of a New Moon in the sign of Leo at 12°.  This is a time to plant seeds in your garden of life related to the energies of Leo. Usually, the culmination point of a new moon is when the Full Moon is in the same sign, some six months from now (February 12, 2025).    Watch for being overly optimistic about reaching your goals but pursue them anyway.  With Jupiter being part of the process moving forward, you can expect bigger and, in many cases, more rewarding outcomes as you move ahead.  If you like what you see along the way, watch for too much self-acknowledgement as the ego in this alignment can be quite significant. The saying goes “we shouldn’t judge others unless we have walked a mile in their shoes”.  We can be a sum of our experiences. We really do not know what has brought anyone to the place where they currently exist.  We know very little, if anything at all, about their personal journey.    How were they brought up?   What are their innate instincts?   What does their natal chart suggest?   We are just touching on personal influences but even just these three basic influences can greatly impact our development and progress.   There are parameters that are socially acceptable for our actions. It is my opinion, however, that no action is acceptable if it causes strife or pain for us or others.  As a human, this is when it is hard not to judge.   Most of us instinctively want to avoid conflict. Yet is it not necessary to stand up against abuse?   We have not walked a mile in the abuser’s shoes, and judgement is not needed, only action. It is not ours to understand the why, but we can stop the “what” with action and compassion.   Those that create conflict will live in conflict. For every action, there is a reaction. Your actions reverberate and causes waves of influence.   Living with compassion, care and concern is not weak!   All actions should be carefully considered. What is the consequence of your actions?   Make a judgement call on what you are planning to do and what this action or lack of action might do. We can never analyze every possibility, but we can certainly try to do our best in whatever we choose to do or not do.
