Full Moon in Aries Today, October 6, 2025, into early tomorrow morning, we will be having a Full Moon in the sign of Aries, at 14°.    The Sun and the Moon are always in Opposition when we are experiencing a Full Moon.  They are always in Conjunction when we experience a New Moon.   We use an orb of 3° when deciphering if any Transits are making aspects to the placement of the Full or New Moon.  In this particular case, there are no major aspects affecting this Lunar position.  There is, however, the Trine between Transiting Uranus and Transiting Pluto which are at 1° Aquarius and 1° Gemini respectively.  In turn, both outer planets are also making Sextiles to Saturn which is at 1° Aries and Neptune which is currently at 27° in the sign of Pisces.   A Full Moon often depicts the harvest time for plans or goals set forth during the New Moon about six months ago when the New Moon was in the same sign as the current Full Moon.  In this case it is Aries.  The fruits of your labour will depend on how much energy and dedication was put into your goals over this six period.  The astrological houses involved will define what areas of life are affected.  The Natal Planets or Natal Angles which are within the 3° range of this placement will also have an impact on your personal journey.   This Full Moon, being in the sign of Aries, suggests that what you initiated six months ago should have been very personal in nature.  The focus of the Aries New Moon would have been about your own needs and your own individual direction.  You had to look after your own interests which may not have coincided with what others wanted.   To assist in our explanation (and remember your astrological houses involved are important), we will give an example.  If, for example, the Aries New Moon was in the seventh house, it would most likely have involved a relationship of significance, like your partner.  It may also have had something to do with a business partnership, although not necessarily your partner in life.  This would have involved you personally and perhaps you had to make plans at that time with your needs having to come to the forefront.    Perhaps a divorce or separation, especially if Pluto or Uranus might have been involved, is what was initiated. Perhaps a new marriage was involved, if by chance Venus or the natal Moon might have been involved.    Now, at this time, these initiated events come to fruition under the Aries Full Moon.  Again, these are just ideas from the seventh house placement in our example, and it is imperative to take into consideration what the whole chart along with all transits involved are also representing.    The Full Moon in Aries now completed the Aries New Moon cycle and whatever was set in motion personally should now come to fruition. We meet many different individuals over the years.  Some individuals end up forming important relationships with us, others come and go.  Important relationships can last for years; some even a lifetime.  These relationships can be with marriage partners, parents, children, friends, co-workers, etc.    For those open to reincarnation, it is believed that these important individuals have been with us previously.  Some with clear insight can recall prior relationships or at the very least get glimpses of them.   Some relationships aren’t always easy to maintain.  It has been said that “nothing worthwhile comes easily”.   Significant Relationships For any relationship, we must persevere at times and learn the art of bending when we need to and conceding when appropriate.  Arguing about who is right often serves no purpose and is initiated by ego.   With individuals in some relationships we have many similar interests and yet other relationships we can be quite different from one another but nonetheless the relationship carries on.    Materials rewards seldom hold a relationship together, even though security is important. The bond must be much more than that.   If we have been together previously, it is likely a blessing that we have come together again.  We frequently learn the most valuable life lessons from those we become close with.  Love and affection are deep and, in some cases, they can be buried. From a deeper perspective, we come together to assist in our combined journey.  We grow together and help each other along.   Forgiveness is a huge part of lasting significant relationships as there are times when we can feel mistreated. Communication is key and so is compassion and forgiveness (a short memory for past events is also helpful). We are all human and prone to make mistakes.   Wrap your heart around significant relationships. Some may not be easy ones, but most are worth the effort.  The more challenging relationships are the ones that we learn the most from although those that are loving and affectionate also teach us lessons too.    Life is a mystery. Neptune Opposition Natal MC When Neptune, through transit, is in Opposition to your MC (Midheaven), it will also be Conjunct your IC (Imum Coeli).  The Conjunction to the IC is more significant than the Opposition to the MC.  When Neptune makes a Conjunction to your IC which has to do with your home, the family and your heritage, the IC also has some affiliations with end-of-life conditions.   Neptune’s behavior is linked to mysticism, the psychic realms and, when afflicted, it can speak of confusion and disorientation.    When Neptune Conjuncts your IC, there is an emphasis on the home and family, in particular.  If a family member (the IC and MC also relate to your mother and father) particularly the most nurturing parent has been ill for some time and they are nearing the next phase of their soul’s evolution, then, depending on the rest of the chart, this aspect may be suggesting their passing. You would have to check the chart of the parent involved to see how their fourth house is delineated.    There may be some confusion about this parent, and you may be experiencing vivid dreams, if you are so inclined, about the outcome of the situation.  If this speaks about the home, perhaps things at home and in particular the home front itself is reflective of life’s situations.  Have things become very challenging at home, and do you need to examine what needs to adjusted with the family or with the physical home itself?    When Transiting Neptune is in Opposition to the MC, there is a need for clarity with life’s journey, particularly related to your occupation or your goals in life.  Is the situation around the home or with the family playing havoc with your career?    Does one of these aspects of your life seem to need your attention more than the other and if so, what might you need to do to create a balance if that is what is needed?   This can be a challenging position but intuitively you may know what is needed to correct and move forward.  You might have to ask others when it comes to your career options or perhaps others are interfering with what is taking hold with your occupation due to the opposition aspect.    This issue is quite workable, but it will likely take some time. You will be aware as Neptune approaches its Conjunction with your IC.  Neptune moves very slowly at about 1°/year, so this whole process can easily take up to three year or longer to be resolved, depending on the exact position of your IC. This is as a result of Neptune going into retrograde each year and backtracking over your IC. Neptune will cross this position three times.  Neptune begins to lose its influence when it is about 2° past being direct.   Transiting Neptune opposition natal MC will push for clarity likely with your occupation. When you actually take notice of the tides of life making changes, life adjusts.  What seemed hopeless will now have more promise.  A shift is often minute in the beginning, but you sense the shift. You begin to feel different intuitively.   As you shift your attitude, you will feel more energy.  You begin to feel vitality; you feel a surge stemming from within.  You no longer feel lost and although it may have been a rough ride, you just know that the life lesson is coming to an end.    Shifting Times Usually these trying periods that happen prior to a shift (let’s call it the transition period) can feel as though they last a lifetime, with exceptions of course. In the recent past, we posted information transiting Saturn in Opposition to Natal Uranus. Here’s a link for your convenience.  Saturn Opposition Natal Pluto Today, we will focus on transiting Saturn’s Opposition Natal Pluto and will use Pluto in Libra as our example. This would affect Gen X and some early Millennials (1971 to 1984).  Pluto did slip back into Virgo and ahead into Scorpio temporarily during this time frame, however.  Check the ephemeris to confirm if your Pluto is in Libra.    The energy of Uranus often brings sudden and unexpected changes into our lives.  Pluto is similar but, in most cases, it is not so sudden in its nature, and the changes it brings are not unexpected.  Pluto often depicts a complete and total change, while Uranus suggests a change is needed but the change brought on by Uranus do not have to be a total change as it is with Pluto.  Pluto is much more dynamic in its expression and often creates turmoil and chaos while initiating the change that is required.  Change either by Uranus or Pluto is always requirement.   Pluto’s influence is often out of our hands, and we will need to learn to go with the flow rather than fight what is taking place in our lives.  With Saturn as part of the picture, Pluto says that what once was must now be in the rearview mirror. Change will take place no matter how much we fight the process.    Rarely will Pluto let things lie, unless the changes that are coming into force correlate on some level with what is already in place.  This is extremely rare and when Pluto is active, we must learn to adapt. It is important to acknowledge that this new path is not only necessary, but also mandatory.   If we use the same houses as examples as we did in our Saturn Opposition Natal Uranus post (Transiting Saturn in the first house and Natal Pluto in the seventh), we can expect almost with certainty that the relationship is not working as it is now.  In many cases, the recent struggles that are being experienced especially if Saturn is sitting on or just into the first house (meaning that Pluto is near the seventh house cusp), the challenge although certainly involving you is set in motion by the partner or someone related or impacted by the partner.  This is not to say that the relationship is destroyed, but it is most certainly in turmoil, and the issues need to be addressed.  Work needs to be done in an impactful manner.  Watch for disagreements and arguments, and in some cases violence.  The energies of Pluto are being impacted by Saturn, which can be quite destructive and painful to the ego.   There are no half measures about what is taking hold under this aspect but stay strong and persevere. This too will pass, and a new life situation is materializing as we work our way through some of the life lessons that are being presented. Remember, Saturn is the teacher but also the disciplinarian.  Saturn Opposition natal Pluto present hard times and events often out of our hands. We are moving from the long hot days of summer here in North America to feeling the slight influence of Autumn (even though the calendar does dictate it is Fall).    Fall undoubtedly will bring needed rain and cooler temperatures and hopefully some beautiful colours here in southern Ontario.   Aside from the forecast, many of us feel the effects internally with the change of the seasons.    Summer is a busy time of year being with friends and enjoying fun in the sun. It is a time for sharing and a time for reflecting on our personal relationships.  We often connect, hopefully on a deeper level and share more of our lives with others.    Fall seems to bring things to a close, a finishing up and wind-down period.  Some are busy with their children preparing for the upcoming year, while others busy themselves with chores that may have been pushed aside during the “fun” summer season.  It is a different kind of busy as we prepare for the upcoming season of winter.  Fall is a perfect time to review what we have learned and to celebrate all that is.     For some, winter can be a time of isolation or seclusion. This time can be more personal and is a perfect time for personal study and development. This is a time for self-study and reflection.  It can also be used for more cozy family time.    Spring brings an end to the quiet of winter. When exploring the transits of Saturn, allow a 5° orb applying and a 4° separating. Saturn’s energies would influence us for approximately 5 months depending on whether it goes into retrograde motion.  If it goes retrograde, its energies will last longer.  This Astrologer prefers to use a tighter degree of orb than some Astrologers as we generally do not feel the intensity of an aspect before these closer degrees I have set out.    After years of study, it is apparent that the most intense period is when an aspect is direct, although with Saturn, and its delaying influence, it is most powerful between 1° and 2° after it is direct.   Saturn’s influence, as with any aspect, is temporary although during its connection, it most certainly can be impactful in our lives.    What can we learn from Saturn while it is having an impact on our lives?   Remember Saturn is the teacher!   Saturn Opposition Natal Uranus With Saturn Opposition natal Uranus, we can always expect the unexpected.  Uranus acts on impulse and Saturn delays, restricts and creates hurdles that hold us back from moving in the directions that Uranus wants us to move towards.  Since Oppositions often involve other people, these particular individuals involved may play a big role in what this aspect produces.    Uranus wants to let go of anything that holds back our evolution.  It is the harbinger of awakening and does not like to be stifled.  It moves us to where we need to go and, in most cases, suddenly and unexpectedly.    Saturn on the other hand seeks security and stability and resists change. Progress Stifled At times our efforts seem less than adequate and this is frustrating.  We struggle and may feel like giving up. As the struggles continue, our drive and confidence can wither.   Reminder yourself that these times are temporary and the energies will shift. During these time when we feel we cannot accomplish much physically, we can utilize this time to review, contemplate and plan.  We just need to accept that it is not the time to advance or move forward.  We likely are not ready, even though we feel as though we are. In the upcoming year we have quite the configuration forming between transiting Pluto, transiting Uranus and those with their Sun in Libra especially in and around 4° Libra.  These three will form a Grand Air Trine.    Transiting Neptune will also form an Opposition for those with their Sun in Libra around 4° as well.  The time frame involved in 2026 will be especially strong.   As a side note, from July, 2025 and particularly strong through August and September, this same formation is in force, also adding the energies of Saturn which will be conjunct transiting Neptune at 1° in the sign of Aries.  Although we are generally just referring to those with their Sun in Libra, there will also be a powerful impact for those with their Sun in other positions in the early degrees.  This alignment is strong in the first degrees of any sign of the Zodiac.  An experienced Astrologer can assist in putting together the particulars of this impact in your chart in particular.   Aspects for Sun in Libra 2025 To refocus on Libra aspects, the Grand Air Trines suggest powerful influences affecting interaction between individuals.  The mind is quite active, and the Grand Trine is also set off by the Oppositions coming from Saturn and Neptune especially in the late summer of 2025.  Mental processing is high on the agenda.    There will also be a high level of confusion along with challenges due to the influence of these two planets forming the Oppositions. This suggests that the difficulties will certainly involve others, especially the relationships that are considered of extreme importance.    The Grand Trine speaks of transformational pressures and changes to unfold for those under this influence.  This is a time for change at the highest levels, and it will be up to those under this influence to figure out which way they should be moving forward. Something must be left behind for the next requirement of advancement to take hold. As mentioned, this is about the thinking process, and much evaluation will be in place along with a degree of confusion about stability and structure.  Neptune, being the planet highly attuned to the mystical, suggests that meditation and opening up to the higher forces can assist with this highly challenging period.   This strongly affects those with their Sun in the early degrees of Libra and as time moves forward, they will feel the energies easing off as these powerful influences begin losing their strength.  This usually takes place when these planets are 2° past being direct. They can expect a powerful influence in their life while these aspects are direct.    Saturn will move out of influence in April/May, 2026 releasing some of its challenging energies and life lessons to a degree but there will still be a high degree of uncertainty. On September 22, 2025, the Sun moves from Virgo, a Mutable, Earth sign into Libra, a Cardinal, Air sign.  (As a side note, there are three modalities in Astrology: Cardinal, Mutable and Fixed. It seems long term relationships are far and few between.    Long Term Relationships During the course of a committed relationship, marriage or otherwise, there will be challenges.  The newness of a relationship only lasts so long and then wears off. The excitement begins to settle, and then the true “getting to know each other” actually begins. We become more comfortable in the relationship and our deeper personality traits now surface. This can be unsettling in some cases, and we can let little insignificant or large surprising traits irritate us.   We learn to adapt and accept our differences, or we can challenge and stress over these differences to the point that they may be deal breakers.   Some individuals will learn to adapt and are willing to make changes to themselves, while others may refuse to make any changes as they feel they should not have to change for someone else.    In relationships, we cannot expect someone to change to suit us. We can only make changes ourselves, either in character, circumstance or attitude.   This can be where some relationships crumble while others gain momentum. At this point, due to acceptance some relationships actually become stronger as love, hard work and acceptance are the backbone of a relationship. There will always be times when the relationship experiences difficulties. The outside world influences everything it touches but if we recognize that the source of irritation is from outside the relationship, the bond can deepen.   For those individuals currently going through one of these phases, recognize that in most cases, a slight change of attitude can make a world of difference.  Acceptance, compassion and support for one another is essential. Most irritants are temporary. Remind yourself to review the circumstances and look at the influence of the events around you.  Illness, family, world situations, finances, worry, fear, anxiety and attitude must be taken into consideration.  These can have profound consequences on relationships.    After reviewing outside circumstances, you likely will come to realize that your relationship is good but other parts of life may need some adjustments.   For those that are experiencing difficulties in their relationship and have been for some time, be sure to have clear communication. Seek counselling as a professional can offer advice that you may not have thought about.    Long term relationships take hard work, perseverance, love and compassion. Do not let the stress of outside influences affect your relationships. Do the work needed.
