Read here: https://www.holmastrology.com/post/sun-in-virgo-2025   Transits to Sun in Virgo 2025 Today we will review some of the transits that will influence those with their Sun in Virgo over the coming year.   Transiting Mercury is in the sign of Virgo from September 2-19, 2025 while transiting Venus is in Virgo from September 19 through to October 13, 2025.  They will not make a conjunction with one another, but as they move through Virgo, they will make connections to all those with their Sun in the sign of Virgo.    Transiting Pluto is in the early degrees of Aquarius and will stay in this sign for many years to come. Pluto will make aspect to some Sun in Virgo by Quincunx. Check your chart for the appropriate degree (150°) to see if your chart is influenced. The orb of approaching Pluto to those influenced is 4-5° while the separating influence is about 2°.   The Conjunction of Mercury affects the areas of communication, interaction, your thought process and can indicate short trips.  Mercury is often tied to teaching/learning, all education and is intense when it comes to communication of all sorts.  Mercury rules both Virgo and Gemini.   When Mercury connects with the Virgoan’s Sun, for about 7 days, you will perhaps ingulf yourself in deep thought, and communicate with yourself ideas that may further your goals in life.  Perhaps you are preparing for schooling or may educate yourself and learn the use of specific tools that may help you professionally.  The Mercury contact is a good time for educating yourself, open communication with others and evaluating what you might want to do as you move forward in your quest for understanding and knowledge.   When Venus interacts with your Virgoan Sun, (which also lasts approximately 7 days) you might want to include what you were planning with your friends and associates.  Perhaps the planning process is now in the organization stage.  Socializing is often a part of the process, and you may find yourself more involved with others, perhaps entertaining them or going to gatherings.    For some, this can be a time of love and affection.  Perhaps you meet someone under this influence and decide to allow the relationship to develop and you share affection.  Perhaps the next step is in order.  Much will depend on the houses involved in your chart for both Mercury as well as Venus while in aspect.  These will be the areas of life being influenced by the energies.   When Pluto enters the scene, it will be a long-lasting aspect that will play an important role in your life lasting several years and usually not fully understood for about 2 years.  Pluto is about transformation and regeneration.  It can indicate power problems or struggles associated with your goals in life, or a need to make changes to the path you are on.  There are no half measures when Pluto is involved and, in many cases, what was in place will go through dynamic changes and something new comes into play as you may have to leave something behind.   A quincunx always indicates that an adjustment is necessary.  Because of the changes that Pluto often brings, you will have to adjust to where life is taking you and fighting the process is futile as where you are going is exactly where you are meant to go in this place in time.  Pluto is dynamic in its energies and sometimes the change taking place is hard to adjust to, but over time, you will adjust and reap the rewards of life’s new avenues of expression.   Happy solar return to our Sun in Virgo followers. Sun in Virgo 2025 On August 22, 2025, the Sun moves from the Fixed Fire sign of Leo into the Mutable Earth sign of Virgo.    As a side note, with signs that are on the cusp of another sign, energies from the two signs interact with one another.  The further into the sign (up to 7°) the less the previous sign has an influence on the individual’s personality traits.  A sign which is less than 1° is almost equal in personality traits of both signs.  With this in mind, you can read our Sun in Leo 2025 article from July 21, 2023 https://holmastrology.blogspot.com/2025/07/sun-in-leo.html  if your sun sign cusps both Leo and Virgo.  The same applies to the other end of the Virgo Sun sign with Libra. Our Libra article will follow in about four weeks.   Those with their Sun firmly integrated into the sign of Virgo will view life from a microscopic perspective.  They incorporate all of life’s conditions into their scope and do not miss anything that enters their scope of influence.  They have a keen eye for detail on a most minute scale and see all the tiniest of flaws and imperfections, seeking perfection at every turn.    Depending on the rest of the chart, most Virgoan are very conservative.  They like the tried, tested and true. They value experience.  Their comfort level depends on this, and some can go to extremes when it comes to seeking out the perfect situation.  They are extremely service oriented and are naturally equipped with problem-solving skills.  They offer advice and truly want to help anyone in need of their assistance.    As mentioned, they see the tiniest flaws and this goes deep especially within themselves.  They would do well if they were to also pay attention to their own unique beneficial qualities and accept that nothing is perfect and flaws are a part of life.  Relaxing judgements and not being so hard on themselves would ease the tension that some of these individuals experience.    Virgo individuals are curious by nature and intellectualize life’s matters.  They are rational thinkers, depending on the placement of Mercury. Virgo New Moon 2025 Part II Yesterday we posted an article on the Virgo New Moon that we will experience on August 23, 2025. We touched on Uranus influence suggests a change in direction which is essential for growth and that Pluto suggests endings and new beginning and Saturn & Neptune may blur the decision making. See our post at https://www.holmastrology.com/post/virgo-new-moon-2025   Addressing some of these transits we delve deeper into the potential surrounding this important period in our evolving life’s story.    As mentioned, Uranus is square the New Moon. The Square aspect often forces us into action because the energy is too challenging, and we know we must adjust or fix things to move forward.  This is the beauty of the Square. Its energies are so difficult, they push us to act for a resolution.    When Uranus is involved, this can be very disruptive and often comes without warning, and you can act on impulse. It is therefore essential that you make sure you have firmly thought about how you should proceed.  If you do nothing, quite often Uranus will push change and force action in a much more aggressive manner.    The overall consequence can be quite disruptive. It may take time to understand why the changes were needed but know that change or transformation is required.  We will learn to adjust as Quincunx’s energy (from Pluto) push us to find resolution.   To take it a little further, if for example, you have many mutable placements in your chart, you may find it a little easier to adjust, while those with prominent fixed emphases or Cardinal emphases strong in the natal chart would have a harder time adjusting.    Fixed emphases don’t want change and will stand strong to hold things the way they have been even when they understand that a change is required.  Cardinal will adjust by making changes that they deem important. Strong Cardinal individuals adapt easier than those with a fixed emphasis.  Cardinal energies are the ones that push for change when change is needed although not without some struggles along the way.   The rest of the chart with all the transits and progressions will play a huge influence in what else may be involved, and we should always look at the natal potential when we are deciphering moves that may affect us in profound ways.   Our natal chart always tells the story and when it becomes activated through transit or progression what is foretold in our birth chart now has potential to grow.  The actual aspects are important, but we also must realize that regardless of what aspects are involved, we can find resolution and learn valuable lessons to carry forward on our journey.   The restructuring called for as set out in our Virgo New Moon 2025 Part II and Part I and the aspects to its placement may be challenging but change is essential. Either make the changes called for or they will be forced upon you if there is contact being made in your Astrology chart. The New Moon cycle suggested the beginning of a new cycle.  It brings with it the opportunity to set new goals and bring something new into fruition. You are planting seeds with growth in mind often coming to harvest when the Full Moon in the same sign some six months later.    Under the new moon, look deep within and release any old patterns that no longer serve a viable purpose. You have outgrown them.   Virgo New Moon, Part I On August 23, 2025, we will be experiencing a New Moon in the sign of Virgo at 0°.  Virgo’s energies evolve around organizing, structuring life and finding a resolution to whatever needs change. In making these changes, all should work more precisely, and your understanding should be more clear.   The Sun and the Moon are in Conjunction with one another with a New Moon, and the house that they fall in is the area of life that requires reconstruction and a new start.   Transiting Uranus, transiting Saturn, transiting Neptune and transiting Pluto all make contact within one degree of this placement to the New Moon in Virgo.    Uranus makes a Square to the New Moon while Neptune and Saturn (which are in Conjunction with one another) make a Quincunx and Pluto makes a Quincunx as well with the New Moon.  Looking at just these combinations, it is suggestive of a challenging time where you will likely have hurtles to contend with and must make concessions because you will have to learn to adjust to what unfolds.   Uranus suggests a change of direction. It is imperative that you look where you might want to be down the road and act accordingly now.  Uranus often forces you into action because change is required. Either current habits or choices have caused you to stagnate or they are now taking you away from your destiny and your intended path forward.  This can be challenging because you are comfortable with things even if they are not comforting.  You may have been wishing that things would change but a part of you realizes that they likely would not.  Under this aspect, the door now opens for you to make a move even though you may be worried about the results. Remember, however, Uranus takes us where we need to go.   Pluto reiterates this energy as well. Pluto often suggests that a total change is required because something has died (come to an end) and no longer serves a purpose.  Some power struggles are likely, but the Quincunx aspect always suggests that we must adapt to what is unfolding.  In some cases, Pluto’s action is out of our control, so we either go with the flow or fight the current of change. More often than not, the fight against Pluto’s energies only creates stress and the change is inevitable.   Saturn and Neptune together can be subdued and confusing.  You may ask yourself which way should I go or what will happen if I take this route.  You may worry if your concerns are real, over-analyzed or even illusionary.  Together “right and wrong” and “comfort and venture into the new” come into play with what is unfolding, but these have likely been in play for some time.  Once again it calls for adjustments and perhaps reconciliation.    The Virgo New Moon 2025 ushers in restructuring and reorganizing. Uranus suggests a change in direction that is essential for growth. Never Stop Trying Because of fatigue and frustration, we may feel like giving in to the pressures of life and stop fighting for our rights or stop fighting for what we know to be the right way. It may feel as though you have been struggling for so long and have not made progress, so why go on?   Questions that seems to surface during these struggles focus on “how much longer will this last”, “am I strong enough” and “is this worth it”.    We might have been walking this path far too long and running out of patience and running out of ideas. We are just about ready to give in or let go.  This is what is referred to as reaching the bottom. In many cases, once we reach the proverbial bottom, we are then provided with a turning point, or a solution is finally contemplated.  We may have finally let go and realized that it is out of our hands and there really is nothing we can do about the situation and miraculously a solution is at hand.   Nothing lasts forever. A turning point always presents itself in due course. We must endure and learn the lessons at hand as there is really no other way to proceed.  It is out of our hands and now although we have tried in many ways to correct the situation, nothing has changed.  This is where the most important lessons in life are offered.  We do not stop falling until the bottom is reached.   Life often seems to dictate, and we have no other choice but to go with the flow and stop fighting the process.  Once we surrender quite often an answer appears seemingly out of nowhere   Never stop trying, but surrender to the lesson and be open. Learn the lessons to become stronger and wiser. Towards the end of January 2026, Neptune while in transit will enter the sign of Aries and remain there for approximately 14 years.    Neptune was comfortable in its own sign of Pisces and now from the experience taught during its stay in Pisces, hopefully it will now integrate its learned Pisces energies in a more personal basis (due to Aries’ influence).  The Piscean energies of spirituality, psychic awareness, vision activation, spiritual integration and openness to the ongoing energies that we have learned will push us into greater self-awareness under the influence of Aries. At the same time, we will be provide with the opportunity to open the doors to our own special connection to the psychic realm.   As Neptune slowly moves through the sign of Aries, it will make an opposition to all those with their Natal Saturn in the sign Libra.  Libra is a harmonizing sign and often includes those individuals that are important to us as well as those people we associate with.  Libra seeks peace, tranquility and balance even when in opposition to Neptune.    Oppositions are said to bring disputes and struggles that we are to learn to overcome and often suggest that some of these issues stem from outside ourselves and are generated from others.  At the very least, others will be involved in the equation.  Oppositions, although usually challenging, provide information and valuable lessons by learning to find resolutions to the issues.   Neptune Opposition Natal Saturn The planetary energies of Neptune and Saturn are quite opposite to one another.  Neptune can be vague and uncertain and create an illusionary potential that may be hard to see or spot.  You want to believe the best in things but sometimes there can be deceit or we may hide our head in the sand preferring not to have to deal with any type of adversity.    Saturn insists that you see things as they are and does not like change or disruption to what is considered the norm.  Saturn is reality at its peak although it can also entertain negativity and cause great worries because of its focus and challenges.   You should question what is real and what is imaginary under this influence.  Much will depend on the houses involved in the astrology chart as this will provide you with clarity on what areas of life are involved.    Stability and a secure foundations are the later benefits after you have worked your way through the lessons this aspect can present.    You will want to create harmony as this might be common ground for you to walk in life.  Saturn in Libra wishes to create fairness, justice, harmony and balance, bringing peace to what surrounds it.    You may find that you are questioning your outlook and viewing life from a vantage point that is not overly sound at this time, but this too will pass. You will be more aware of your train of thought as time goes by.    Relationships will likely be part of the focus under this aspect.  Just make sure you are seeing things as they truly are. You will, however, sway back and forth from reality to rose coloured glasses during this aspect’s peak when Neptune is directly in Opposition to your Natal Saturn.   With Neptune Opposition natal Saturn utilize the energies to formulate a realistic action plan for the long haul. Beware of deceit and deal with issues head on. The title may not be appropriate for some.  It seems some individuals are always at odds with someone else.  There always seems to be an outcast--someone that does not fit well with other members of the family, biological or otherwise.  Perhaps these outcasts are too open, voice their opinions too readily, have no filters and the list goes on.    In most cases, those that seem to stir the pot actually feel as though they have little control over their lives or feel insignificant in some way.  Perhaps as children, they did not have a voice and now they have found a way to get recognition, good, bad or indifferent.   There are many reasons why people react the way they do but usually something in their past that has been held on to has brought them to this.  If we learn to go beneath the surface, we might see the real person buried beneath a few layers of protection.   One Big Happy Family With work, we can all live together as one big happy family. We will never all see eye-to-eye, but we can honour our differences. As Mother Theresa once said “If you judge people, you have no time to love them”.  Everyone wants and needs to be loved.    We can learn to accept others if you can love them on their deepest level.   What can we do as individuals to bring together our earthly family?    We can be one big happy family if we stop judgements and simply honour differences. Uranus Opposition North Node If Transiting Uranus is in Opposition to the North Node in your chart, it is also Conjunction to the South Node.  The Conjunction is more powerful than the Opposition.   While the North Node has similarities in its energies to Jupiter, the South Node has similarities to Saturn.    Transiting Uranus is currently entering into the sign of Gemini which suggests that if transiting Uranus is conjuncting your South Node, your South node is in Gemini and your North Node is in Sagittarius.    Uranus brings a change of direction, and these changes can at times be considerably challenging, especially when we are speaking of the South Node’s interaction with it.  There may be a general feeling that change is due although not wanted.  It may be forced on you by opposing forces often linked to other people’s influence in your life.  You may be the subject of an unintentional change of direction and the beginning of a new start.   You may have felt quite comfortable with how things were, but we are not here to follow our South Nodes path (which is quite familiar). We are here to move towards our North Node objectives (which are new and unfamiliar).  Changes may be unexpected and challenging, and these changes may take you in a direction you do not desire.  As mentioned, they may be forced upon you.    If by chance this change has to do with relationship issues (7 th  house emphasis or potential 5 th  house especially if the relationship is new), perhaps there have been issues within the relationship, undenounced by you, for some time and these issues are now surfacing.  Some things may seem to just come out of the proverbial woodwork, yet somehow feel destined, and you are forced to change directions or adapt to a new attitude.   If there are further implications stemming from the 12 th  house, for example, then perhaps things have been going on behind your back, or you may have pushed things under the rug, preferring not to face the matter at hand.  This will affect you personally because your North Node is in the first house if your South Node is in the 7 th house.    This connection with Uranus and the Nodes is a challenging one, and although things seem destined to take hold one way or the other, they are actually bringing you to where you need to be.  Adapting may be challenging but you likely have little choice. You must move in this new direction as it is your life’s path.  It may take some time to unravel and there may be some difficulties ahead, especially if Uranus goes into retrograde and passes over the same area again.  If it does go retrograde, it will take some time for things to settle as it will hit your North Node three times. The most challenging time is Uranus’ first pass over the placement.    Transiting Uranus Opposition Natal North Node and Conjunct the South Node will bring about sudden changes likely brought on by others. In our early days, we live to experience and each moment in time is filled with enthusiasm.  We are wrapped in each and every experience without question, completely focused and content in the moment. Watch a children closely at how “in the moment” they live.   As we move into adolescence we are still very much wrapped up in the moment although now we look forward to milestones and make plans for our future. We are still quite enthusiastic about life, venturing forth with great vigor and eagerness.    As we enter adulthood, we begin to enjoy our independence.  Some of us chose to begin our own families and become focused on our careers and new financial obligations.  If we have chose the family journey, we now have others to think about and support and begin preparing for what might occur in our future.  We become more focused on possibilities and live not only in the moment but also in the future. We need to keep checking our attitude.   By middle age, we reflect our life experiences in our personality not only because of those we have met and our life situations but also because of our attitude.  We have been preparing for our future saving money, paying off debt, gathering material abundance and experiencing.  Plan for the future but don’t lose your soul to it!   If we had a family, our children eventually enter their own stage of independence, and we can start to focus more on self.  It’s not that we care less but that we allow them to mature and grow.  It is important that we have time to enjoy the fruits of our labors, so we begin to explore more of what life offers on a personal level.    Hopefully we are all blessed with what may be called the “evening” or “winter” of our lives.  We let go of our need to squirrel away money and learn to relax and focus more on the things that we enjoy in life.  There should be relief of some sort that retirement does not mean we are old and unable.  Quite the opposite for many of us.  We all carry forward, each one of us in different directions, some mastering techniques that we have been nurturing throughout life and others branching in new directions learning new things.    This stage in life does not have to be an ending at all.  It feels more like a beginning and excitement is still there for those that allow.  Some may suffer from a belief that retirement means it’s all over, but most of us chose to do and experience whatever excites us.   Enthusiasm of a Child Our lives are filled with experiences that foster in change at all stages. Who we were years ago is still a part of our consciousness, but we have changed dynamically and hopefully learned from each experience.  We are here to experience life to the fullest and enjoy what is in front of us.    Life is magical and is perpetually changing. No matter what stage you are experiencing, remember to live and enjoy. As mentioned in our articles yesterday on aspects to the Full Moon August, 2025, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, we will experience a Full Moon in the sign of Aquarius at 17°.  Read more about the two kite configurations that will have an undeniable influence on those individuals that the kite configurations are activated in their charts: https://www.holmastrology.com/post/full-moon-aspects-august-2025   The energies of a Full Moon evolve around the completion of a cycle, and this is when we reap the rewards of our efforts for goals set when the New Moon was in the same sign some six months ago previous.  Again with this Full Moon, the sign of influence is Aquarius.  During the energies of a Full Moon is also the time for letting go of any old, outdated expressions or ways of living and moving forward in a new direction.   This Full Moon will affect those with planets in their natal chart that are either Conjunct or in Opposition within a 3° orb to the position of the Full Moon (again 17° Aquarius).  To simplify, we are strictly focusing on the Full Moon itself in this article and not the two kit configurations.    Aquarius Full Moon 2025 Due to the influence of Aquarius and its ruling planet being Uranus, this can be a time of deep-seated change which, by some, could be considered radical in its expression.  This may come due to a sudden unexpected realization that the way things have been now need revitalized or a new, and different approach.   Not only is this energy personal but because this Full Moon is in the sign of Aquarius (the most humanitarian sign of the Zodiac), it will also influence mankind on some level.  How has your approach to your personal life made a difference in the lives of others?    What do you now need to leave behind to formulate a plan that fosters change that is so needed in our world?    Change begins at home and within the framework of your own personal circle and then spreads outward because of the ripple effect.   We are all individuals sharing this existence, but we can work together to create a brighter future for mankind as a whole. We are going to focus on the aspects to the Full Moon we will experience on August 9, 2025. Watch for our post August 6, 2025, for more details on the Full Moon’s energies specifically.   The current aspects form a Kite configuration.  See the blue lines (trines and sextiles) in the chart picture included.  Although this configuration does not directly affect the Full Moon’s placement which is at 17° in the sign of Aquarius, this Kite formation will have a profound effect on many because of the tight configuration in the early degrees of several planets.   The chart diagram shows the configuration which is in effect for approximately 10 days from August 5 to August 15. The most powerful time will be when the Full Moon is in effect on August 9,   2025.  Anyone having their birthday in or around this date will have this configuration in their Solar Chart. This influence will last approximately one year. Use an orb of about 3° influence.   Because of the influence of the Grand Air Trine on this configuration, there is often a hint of good luck, potential for personal growth and opportunities attached to those individuals with this configuration affecting their chart.  This is a powerful placement and can enhance your life’s goals, affect personal relationships, development in many areas (depending on the house positions) and speaks of individual strength because of the added influence of the Opposition (red line in the centre) forming the Kite.   The focal planet in our highlighted kite formation is the conjunction between Saturn and Neptune at 1° in the sign of Aries.  Aries’ energies are about personal push and aggressive action because personal change is required.  Saturn suggests that this will likely not be easy, while Neptune suggests that something spiritual or enlightening has potential to enhance the situation and create a needed change that can affect your personal journey towards an awakening of some sort.   The Sextiles from Uranus and Pluto are powerful indicators that something needs to change and likely in very dynamic ways.  There might be ego struggles, power implications, a requirement for you to push in a new direction and a strong belief that you can make a difference even if it is only in a minor manner.  Some individuals can make major changes, especially those in positions of power, because, don’t forget, this configuration creates energies affecting everyone worldwide who have these planets making contact especially in the early degrees.  The configuration is a very tight one (close in aspect to one another) and suggests urgency and a powerful impact.   The Opposition between Saturn/Neptune and Mars is the driving force behind what unfolds.  In many cases, the highlighted Kite, although offering some favorable outcomes because of the opposition especially from Mars, there is potential for disruption and power struggles.  The final outcome is likely to take some time to come together, and we will have to be patient. Patience, however, is not normal when Aries and Mars are involved.   Change is due, and we all know this is true.   The Full Moon aspects August, 2025, are unique forming two kite formations. Use these energies to create the change that you need and create something of value on a personal level.
