For those with their Sun in the sign of Taurus, this next few months should be eventful. What are the Sun in Taurus 2024 transits? Transiting Uranus, Jupiter, Venus and Mercury are either already in the sign of Taurus or will soon be going into the sign of Taurus. Uranus and Jupiter are tied together in tight proximity throughout April 2024.  They form a conjunction at 21° so those with their Sun in Taurus and in close conjunction to this degree will experience Jupiter and Uranus forming a tight aspect in the natal chart.  Check the house position to get a clearer understanding of the area of life involved. Uranus speaks of change and often disruption, although the change it suggests are what is required as things no longer suit your evolutionary purpose.  This change can come when you least expect it, out of the blue and may disrupt the normal flow of life.  You may have had a few hints along the way suggesting that you needed to make certain changes and if you decided not to listen to the nudge then perhaps the energies of Uranus become more profound and are often uncomfortable. Jupiter, on the other hand, adds to what is taking place but often suggests that what is unfolding is quite positive even if it does not look that way.  Jupiter brings good luck and fortunate conditions, but don’t forget its energies are mixed with Uranus which calls for change at almost any cost.  Uranus is known as the awakener and does just that.  It awakens you to the obvious and challenges you to move forward in unexpected ways.  Jupiter will enhance this situation and quite likely make it bigger than life.  The indicators are that it will be a change for the better but not without some drastic changes at the same time which may be uncomfortable.  Jupiter expands what it touches. Venus moves into Taurus at the end of April and takes approximately 3 weeks to go through the whole sign.  Its impact will be less impressive but love and affection may be part of what it brings with it. It may also bring more social experiences which may involve a young female in one manner or another.  If, for example, the energies are in the fifth house, your children might be involved, or a love affair takes off.  Venus will join in on the energies of Jupiter and Uranus from about April 17 through to about April 27. Mercury moves into Taurus in the middle of May (after an Aries retrograde cycle ending April 26) and finishes off its Taurus tour in early June.  Sometimes Mercury would give you lots to think about especially if you moved ahead with goals prior to it returning to direct motion.  In many cases, there may be disruptions to plans or slowdowns during its retrograde cycle, but this positioning has to line up with your natal chart,, and for it to have a profound impact Mercury should also be retrograde in your birth chart.  One way or another, Mercury will make you think things through and focus on actions that might have unfolded or on what your next step will be. On April 19, 2024, we move from the Cardinal, Fire sign of Aries into the Fixed, Earth sign of Taurus.  The ruling planet of Taurus is Venus, and Taureans are generally warm and charming individuals because of the influence of the planet Venus.  They can be social but also prefer to be by themselves at times.  Most are well-grounded and are considered stable, structured and reliable. Taureans want to achieve in life but also realize that it takes time and work to get to where they wish to be.  They slowly strive for financial security, and some become attached to money ventures and beautiful objects.  The feeling of owning something provides them with a sense of security and many begin to start saving at a young age. They are naturally sensual and seek out the physical because they are attached to what is real.  Anything that seems out of reach or beyond what might be considered normal or stable, they will try to avoid.  They don’t like change and will often go with the flow but at the same time remain steadfast with their values.  They don’t like to create waves and want things to have a sense of reliability and structure to them. Much of what they acquire provides them with a sense of self-worth as there is a need to feel secure.  Once they begin to acquire, they will have a hard time letting go.  They like what is comfortable and change is not high on their list.  They are considered stable, and they seek stability. Taureans seek structure and reliability.  In most cases, they are loyal once committed to whatever they seek out, whether that be an idea or a person.  They push ahead with their ventures and become fixed and steadfast in their approach. The Sun sign has to do with our personality and what motivates us.  It is also tied to goals and aspirations.  It is who we are on a very deep level and does not necessarily reflect on the outside, at least when people first meet us. At the end of April 2024 transiting Venus moves into the sign of Taurus and makes a conjunction with those with their Sun in Taurus. This contact will last until Venus moves into Gemini on May 23, 2024.  The energies of this contact will greatly depend on what degree the Taurus Sun is in the chart. Venus will be accentuated in the sign of Taurus and could enhance the Taurean’s ability to acquire material objects that are desired.  Perhaps they are thinking about buying a home or a car or perhaps they are thinking about a new relationship or building on an existing one. What does transiting Jupiter square natal midheaven suggest in an Astrology chart? Transiting Jupiter carries with it potential for growth and expansion when it touches other planets or angles in the natal chart.  All angles from Jupiter promote the potential for something good to come out of almost any situation.  The planet or angle which is aspected by Jupiter will of course have to be evaluated within the framework of the natal chart, but in general, Jupiter’s energies are what we look forward to while in transit. When Jupiter makes a square to our midheaven, although the square is considered a challenging aspect, with some work, we now have the possibility of promoting ourselves in our career, with our goals and aspirations, potentially with our status in life and getting recognition where we might not have had received credit previously. Jupiter moves relatively quickly, usually moving about 1° every 4-5 days, and we allow a 3-5° approaching orb and a 2-3° separating orb of influence. Accordingly, this aspect might last 3-4 weeks.  Much will depend on whether Jupiter moves into retrograde while passing over our midheaven degree.  If it does, the energy created by Jupiter will extend a little longer, and we will have time to review what we are setting out to accomplish. Jupiter promise growth and potentially favorable conditions, but because of the square, there may be obstacles in the way or what you might define as slow progress.  There may be times when you feel as though you will not accomplish what you are trying to do, but, with the right amount of perseverance and a steady approach, your chances of success on some level are good. You may not reach your highest objectives, but you can still achieve during this period. There may be difficulties getting your point across or you might find that if you are applying for a promotion or raise that you have other people competing with you or perhaps someone in authority may question your abilities.  The worst that can come from this period is a time of testing, or a time of lessons learned through this experience. The lessons learned can be used as steppingstones maneuvering your way forward. If you have planets connected to your MC (Midheaven), especially those that are conjunct, you will need to take into consideration what these planets’ impacts may be on your MC. The sign on the cusp of your MC along with other significators within the chart will also add insight into the potential of what your aspirations might be. Take everything into consideration within the chart to help define what you should be doing with respect to your career options. Transiting Neptune making a square to our Natal IC (Imum Coeli) will affect our family and home life, and in rare cases, when someone has been ill for a very long time, it speaks about the end-of-life conditions.  At the same time transiting Neptune is making a square to our IC, transiting Neptune will be making a square to the MC (Midheaven).  So, at the same time, our career, life path, goals and life’s status will be affected. The contacts that are made to the IC within the natal chart as well as other transits making aspects to the IC will also have to be determined and taken into consideration. Look at aspects that are within the 3–5° of being exact, although of course, the closer they are to being exact the more powerful their influence will be. Neptune in challenging aspect will tend to make things very uncertain and often creates worry and anxiety because of concerns about the outcome of matters (within the realm of the IC as discussed).  “What am I going to do about my mother or father because they now seem to be displaying dementia?”, “Should I look for a home where they can be looked after?” or “Should I move them from their home to my house?” are perfect examples of questions that may arise. “How might this affect the family and what will I need to do within the framework of my home to accommodate them?” would be the next question. You can now understand the energies of Neptune influencing these areas of life in this example. Neptune in challenging aspect can make things difficult, and there will likely be other hinderances along the way.  You may make a plan of action and then it must be changed because of unforeseen circumstances.  You may have to shift because of this, and your original plans will need to be adapted for the new circumstances. It is not easy to find solutions to problems when things are unclear and the road ahead is uncertain.  However, the energies of the square aspect are challenging enough that these challenges will likely force you into action because of the disruption that they cause.  You must find a way through the adversity, and it is likely in your hands, although of course you can ask for help.  You, however, will have to make the final decision. If we were speaking about the opposition aspect, you would find that other people are often part of the issue, and it may be these individuals that decide which way to turn.  This is quite different from the square which, because of the situation at hand and how irritating the situation is, the situation itself forces you into action. The aspect of Transiting Nodes square the Natal nodes in Astrology creates a Grand Square.  The energies of this formation are not pleasant and can create great strife because a Grand Square is actually four Square aspects all in force at the same time.  These aspects will last approximately four months.  It begins as the Transiting Nodes are approaching the Square at about 3-4° and lasts until they are approximately 2-3° past the exact point. Squares indicate conflict, discord, and suggest that there are hurdles to overcome.  Time seems to move at a much slower pace because of these challenging aspects, and there is certainly a wish that the energies would subside. There are often delays in plans, obstructions and challenges that stand in the way of progress. Much will depend on the areas of life involved, dictated by the natal and transiting positions of the Nodes in the individual’s chart. If there are other indicators in the chart suggesting something similar, then this can be one of the most challenging times that those involved will experience in life. The path ahead seems obstructed and often this is due to something from the past. The experiences of the past or involvement on some level of the past stands in the way of moving ahead. The North Node speaks of the path ahead while the South Node speaks of the past. The Grand Square that is created which will be in either Cardinal, fixed or mutable will determine what kinds of energies are released and determine what action that can be taken. Cardinal modality suggests that action and a push to alleviate these conditions are part of the process.  Fixed modality suggests that there needs to be compromise and a letting go of the fixated determination about what is taking place. The Mutable Square suggests that you might have to go along with the energies in place or on the other hand not to depend on outside influences to determine your course of action. The Grand Square will present obstacles to overcome coming from many different directions all at once; and although this is most certainly a challenging position, the energies of the Square will push you to do what you can to find a resolution to the issues at hand. Square aspects are so irritating that they force us into action, and if we do not push forward with all our might, it is like dropping our gloves and giving up, which is certainly not advised. The whole chart must be reviewed in order to determine how this might be affecting those involved and the natal aspects involving the Nodes will also play a big part in how these energies unfold.  Easy aspects involving the nodes suggest opportunities are at hand while challenging aspects suggest a rather difficult road ahead. These, however, are valuable life lessons and your course of action and what has taken hold over time will provide you with vital information that can be used to formulate a plan of action or be used at any time in the future when needed. STOP AND REFLECT life, at times, can be so overly busy that we do not stop to evaluate what has taken hold in life.  We just need to stop and take the time to reflect on where life has taken and is taking us. Regardless of how you choose to reflect, the reflection itself is essential. Be sure to reflect on it all, the tragedies, the mishaps, the choices, the blessing and the magnificence that has been unfolding. Life continues with or without our consent. We are constantly reorchestrating in order to manage what has been put in place.  Some of life’s lessons can make us feel stranded and uncertain but these are reactions to events. There is always balance however, as some of life’s lessons can bring forth the best “reactions”. One thing is for certain, all will pass and where we have been in life cannot be re-lived. Each event is not to be owned, only experienced, and then let go. We can take the lesson forward as we venture forward into unknown territory.  The unknown can be frightening or fascinating, much depends on your outlook.  We truly do not know where we are heading although there are often indicators along the way that point in a particular direction. No matter how life looks today, there are always lessons to be learned and evaluated and then filed under experience in our life’s cabinet. If life looks favorable currently, look back and see what brought you to this place.  If life looks unfavorable then look back to see why you are learning this lesson.  Know that your focus and choices have created this ongoing lesson that life is providing. Your belief structure, to a degree, has opened doors for what is in place. Recognize that the approach you take in your next step will determine what comes next.  Are you opening the door for more of the same or are you closing the door so that nothing else can manifest along the same lines as what is now in place? Much of life’s internal experience depends on your current outlook but the physical events will likely still happen. There is no escape from our unfolding lessons but we always have a choice of how we step forward. Do we react or do we act intentionally? Pay attention to your thoughts. You are not your thoughts; you are the one listening to them. Choose which ones you want to listen to and which you want to discard. Life keeps moving forward and we are along for the ride. Today, April 8, 2024, we will experience a Solar Eclipse at 3:19 p.m. EDT which will be in sign of Aries at 19°. You know that everything in life is temporary so if you happen to be going through a challenging phase, know that this too will pass. If you are experiencing a wonderful period, enjoy it as everything is temporary.  This is not to say that the good times will pass, only that what is perfect in the moment is just that, perfect in the moment. If you are going through a tough time, learn from the experience.  It has been put in front of you so you can master it and perhaps use the experience and its lessons at a later date.  Perhaps your difficulty will help another individual one day, as now you have experience to share. If life seems to be filled with difficulties perhaps your focus needs to change.  Perhaps your focus has been solely on the hard lessons in life, and you know that focus brings more of what you are concentrating on.  Change that focus.  Instead of paying attention to what is challenging in life, look too at what in life is good and fulfilling.  Even in the most difficult of times, there IS a knowledge that adds benefit from our experience.  You might have to look a little deeper and believe that you will find something, particularly when we are in the middle of the lesson.  Attitude is everything! The more you realign to being open to learning and enjoying (and choose to be happy) the more there is to be thankful for.  You will still encounter difficulties, but you will also begin to see something more positive happening in your life. As transiting Neptune ever so slowly makes its way through the Zodiac, it manifests itself through different channels because of its illusive behavior. Neptune is a mysterious planet and is connected to mysticism, psychic interaction, intuitive perception as well as illusions, cloudiness with perception and the wish to evade all conflict. Neptune can also be associated with acting, musical abilities, dance and in many cases, things associated with the oceans or waterways. The IC is always opposite the MC exact to the degree and minute.  Therefore, when the IC is in aspect to a transiting planet, we also need to take into consideration what aspect that particular planet will be making to the MC. Our actions can create turning points.  Some are good, some not so pleasant. Our response (not reaction) to what takes place is just as important as any event that unfolds. Sometimes we just need to pick up the pieces and move forward in life.  Life does not always move in the direction of choice.  However, over time quite often we see why things went the way they did.  We can’t change the past and we need to let go of what might have been or what we thought we could have done. There is no point in holding on to “should have”, could have” or “would have”.  Our actions or lack thereof may be affecting us now, but this too will pass but the lessons will stick with us. Life moves us in a new direction where we need to move.  It may not look that way at times, but all the pieces begin to fit together, and we can make sense of the “why” behind what has happened eventually. We are not suggesting that you squander opportunities that knock.  Absolutely not.  Seize the moment and utilize what is available. Things will be fine. Believe this; know this! What was left behind must be left there for the new path to begin unfolding.  Attitude is important. Feeling as though you could have done better will not change anything.  Learn from the experience and let go. This is a turning point where life begins to blossom again. When Transiting Neptune squaring our Natal Midheaven, this will be a time when we are very unclear about life’s direction.  This can relate to our choice of career, as we may be questioning if the choices we have made continue to be appropriate.  This of course depends on our age. If we are younger and perhaps finishing off school or entering College or University, we might be questioning or unclear about whether we have chosen the correct career choice. We may feel dismayed and upset not knowing which way to turn. This can manifest as a feeling of being lost, at least for the time being.  The reason we say “for the time being’ is Transiting Neptune will eventually move out of orb and no longer present us with these energies.  During its contact, however, it can be quite stressful as we are worried about making the wrong decision, no matter what our age. Since the MC or Midheaven is also about our goals and aspirations, these focuses might also be in reflux at this time. The goals we might have had before this time may now be questioned. Are my goals in line with what I now wish to accomplish? Our status may also be in a state of flux. Perhaps we have just lost our job due to unforeseen circumstances. Perhaps we made a rash decision to quit and have now moved onto something different and we are wondering if we made a mistake. This position of Neptune to our MC cannot be considered pleasant. The square aspect is always difficult and presents obstacles to overcome. The pace of this focus seems to be slowed down or seems not to move in the direction that we might want it to. We may wish that we could do a rewind or at the very least have a second chance to make things right or better. This is the beauty of Squares. They are put in place so we can learn valuable lessons and the square energies irritate us enough that we are put in a position where we must do something about the situation (They force action).  Perhaps we just need to accept what is taking place or perhaps we can make changes.  Either way, the energies are such that we feel the need and often have the ingrained attitude that something can and must be done.
