Uranus Square Natal Nodes When Transiting Uranus makes a Square to your Natal Nodes, this can be indicative of strife and unexpected turns to your life’s path.    Uranus acts on impulse and is very unpredictable in its nature.  Its actions are sudden and often without warning although there are likely indicators suggesting a change of direction is needed or imminent.    Prior to Uranus making a square to the Nodes (exactly at 90° degrees of separation), you may have warnings or little nudges suggesting change is required. This change is likely to be rapid and is required as your current path no longer suits your evolutionary journey.  You have outgrown your current situation and it’s time to find a new growth path forward.   Much of what transpires will depend on your age, of course, because change is quite different for someone who is 12 compared to someone who is 45.  The twelve-year-old may be highly influenced by parental decisions and perhaps changes due to something taking place in the parent’s lives, such as a divorce or move due to a career change.  The 45-year-old, however, may find that their relationship no longer is viable or their current work position needs changing.    This will be a challenging time although the degree of change is defined more clearly in the natal chart rather than through transits.  The Nodes’ placements by sign and house define the areas of life that are being directly affected by change, while the placement of Uranus by transit may speak in terms of how and in what manner this is being carried out.  Also, we need to look at the placement of Natal Uranus in the birth chart as this will provide greater details on what is unfolding.   Sometimes important people either enter our lives or leave our lives, and this brings forth the need for change or direction.    To take this further, if another transit or natal Planet also makes a square from the opposite side of Transiting Uranus, we now have a Grand Square. At times, we speak out of turn or say things that even before we finish the sentence, we wish we had not said.   Likely on some level, the words needed to be said. Perhaps, it was the best way, at least at that moment, to get your point across.  Often, when we leave things unsaid for an extended period, when we eventually convey our wishes or feelings, they are said in a less than desirable fashion.   Reactions in the Moment Whatever has been said cannot be unsaid, and you must accept the repercussions of your actions or words.  Clarifying or explaining ourselves is a good idea and an apology is essential.   We can’t change what has been said or done in the past so, if for example, our words were cutting due to holding on to unshared feelings, there is a valuable lesson in this event.  Do not let feelings or preferences go unsaid.  It is much better to deal with them in a calm and controlled situation than to express them in the heat of the moment and then regret your expression or actions.   Reactions in the moment happen occasionally to everyone.  If, however, your reactions are continually uncontrolled perhaps a deeper dive into why is warranted.  Be honest with yourself, accept responsibility for your actions and make the necessary changes where changes are required, so that the next time you are confronted with events or the urge to react, you can take control of your actions in the moment and deal with them in a meaningful and productive manner.   Change what you can, speak up when necessary and then let go of the past. If the needed change does not come when you request it and it is essential, walk away.  Remove yourself from the situation if there is no hope for change. There Is No Tomorrow Tomorrow is never guaranteed! So how should that influence us?    Many of us may openly admit to being procrastinators.  We put off what could be done today because there is a good chance that it can wait until tomorrow.  We plan ahead, and with that plan in mind, we promise ourselves that we will push ahead when the time is right. This creates a problem. The time may never be right in our minds and whatever we would like to achieve but put off, for whatever personal reason we may come up with, we lose the chance to fulfill that goal and whatever it can provide to us.   If you know you have to set aside a specific time to accomplish what you want, then set that time aside and make room to get things done. Make a commitment. Take one step forward and initiate action. Once you are moving forward on your goal, what seemed to be a real challenge in your head turns out to be much simpler than we thought.   How much time is wasted conjuring up with excuses as to why we cannot move forward?   It may take more time to come up with multiple excuses than it takes to fulfill your plans.   Some things can certainly wait in our busy schedules, but to make things happen, we need to take action.   In some cases, there is a fear of failure or a sense that it is just too much to attempt in the present moment. In other cases, we lack the knowledge to accomplish our goals or we are simply lazy.    We can find endless reasons why we cannot begin now, so we put things off telling ourselves we can do it later.  Yet when we finally decide to act, we get great satisfaction from the work we complete.  Why did we wait?   Take advantage of the moment and move ahead with confidence. As Jupiter moves through the Zodiac, taking approximately 12 years to do a complete cycle, moving about one sign each year, it will interact with all our planetary placements and the four angles (ASC, DC, IC, MC) in our chart.  Transiting Jupiter will, at some point, make an opposition to Natal Saturn’s placement in our chart.    Jupiter is considered a favorable planet, usually indicating promising outcomes and potential growth even when in challenging aspect to most planets with the exception of Saturn.  Saturn’s and Jupiter’s energies are just too conflicting in nature.  Saturn restricts and delays and creates difficult conditions that must be met and eventually remedied.  Jupiter, on the other hand, is about growth, expansion, positive energies which can lead to remarkable results.   An Opposition aspect in Astrology is 180° and represents a tug of war or tension between the energies.  There must be a compromise with the energy forces.  In almost all situations with an Opposition aspect other people are part of the equation.    Jupiter Opposition Natal Saturn With Transiting Jupiter in opposition to Natal Saturn, there is a strong push and pull situation taking hold in our lives.  The houses where Natal Saturn and Transiting Jupiter are each residing will be the areas of life affected by this opposition.    Jupiter may call for change in situations that are in place and perhaps these conditions have been in place for some time, and although you may know that a change is required, you may resist making the adjustments that you need to make.  Others may be involved, as mentioned, and they might be pushing you one way or the other.  You may feel that you are fighting their suggestions or their outright influence on what is happening.    Wherever Saturn is found in your Natal chart, it will be an area of concern, although much will depend on how it is aspected by other planets in the birth chart.  If, for example, Saturn is well aspected let’s say, by Uranus, Mars and Jupiter in the Natal chart, then the situation may not be as difficult.  However, if for example, Saturn is challenged by Pluto, Mars and Uranus, this suggests a much more difficult situation where there may be hard struggles, arguments, abrupt ending of conditions and delayed actions.   In many cases, Jupiter knows what is best, but Saturn resists, creates roadblocks and suggests that even if a change is a requirement, then it will take a lot of work to make this change, and you may worry that things will not work out the way you want.  This is all because of Saturn’s energy.    With Jupiter opposition natal Saturn, move slowly and listen to other people’s advice especially those that you consider reliable and have your best interests at heart. When is it appropriate to step aside and stop providing guidance and assistance for those that are in need?    What energies or resources should we put forward to aid those that have been living under harsh conditions on some level or another?   Assistance is essential at times, but we should teach life skills to others so that they can move forward with pride and self-reliance.  Give help when help is required in the moment and just as importantly, we should help others to help themselves.  We can provide guidance or assistance but at some point, it is important to back off when those who have needed our help are ready to move ahead without our assistance, so they can experience self-reliance.   Challenging conditions are lessons teaching us how to build strength and endurance.  These lessons are part of life’s journey and in turn, when the lessons have been learned, we gain strength and knowledge.   Self-Sufficiency Know when to help, and when to bow out and let others move forward on their own.  The old saying goes “Feed someone a fish and they are fed for the day; teach someone to fish and they are fed for a lifetime”. Currently, and in the near future, there are several of the outer planets moving into new signs.  Pluto is already in the sign of Aquarius.  Neptune will be moving into the sign Aries, as is Saturn.  Uranus will move into the sign of Gemini in July and then return into Taurus in November of 2025.  Uranus stays in Taurus from November 2025 until the end of April 2026.  As a result, those individuals with their Natal Sun in the early degrees of Cancer will have all these outer planets making aspects to their Sun.   Transits for Sun in Cancer 2025 We will touch on the transits of Neptune moving into Aries as well as Saturn moving into the same sign forming a tight Conjunction, at times, into March, 2026.    Neptune, a mystical planet, and Saturn, a practical and down-to-earth energy planet, will have a profound influence on those with the Sun in the early degrees of Cancer.  The energies of these two planets are extreme opposites and may create some confusion for those individuals they influence. The house placements will determine the areas of life affected by these two powerful planetary links.   Some Cancerians may have a hard time defining themselves under these influences.  The Cancerian’s goals and their path ahead may venture into directions that may be uncomfortable. What you are doing for yourself and others today is what you are creating for your tomorrow.    Don’t pass by the opportunities that are being offered today. They may be pivotal for tomorrow. Your actions today provide or deny in your tomorrow.    Building on Your Tomorrow What lessons are being taught in our material world?    These lessons likely involve finances, in some form or another. Because of this, what is learned through this area of life?    There is a purpose behind this incarnation that is invested in material life.   Are we to place all our attention on material gain?    Will it provide happiness and contentment once we reach our goal?   Will this create security on an internal level?   Fulfillment through material success, although ego-reinforcing, is temporary and quite often after we reach our goal for achievements, we often feel we must reach for an even higher goal.  The need to attain more and more can be never ending, and we may never be satisfied or comfortable enough with our financial situation and the rewards it provides.   We are building today for our tomorrow, but financial achievement does not provide us with the security we are truly looking for. This can only be found from within.  The security that we genuinely are in search of only resides within and financial success does not achieve this with any certainty or with any longevity.    Security stems from knowing that we are learning and advancing within ourselves in a place that not only feels safe but is safe.  We become comfortable with who we are as we make changes to ourselves at the deepest levels, acquiring a feeling of satisfaction as we mature into ourselves.  Our goal is to advance on a higher level ever moving forward into a place where we know ourselves in a state of peace and acceptance.    This is not to say that we stop working on ourselves throughout life, only that we can be comfortable within each stage of development.   Building on your tomorrow involves accepting that you are worthy of a sanctuary where peace and contentment are commonplace. On June 21, 2025, the Sun moves from the mutable air sign of Gemini, into the cardinal water sign of Cancer.  There is a vast difference between the sign Gemini and the sign Cancer.  Those born on the cusp of Cancer and Gemini will also have some tendencies related to the sign Gemini.  Some Astrologers give an orb of 16° for the Sun. For example, anyone born with a 3° Sun in Cancer will also have the influence of Gemini. There are many ways to educate ourselves.  There are traditional educations which are excellent ways to prepare for our vocation in life.  We also learn valuable lessons through life experiences.  This latter learning tool in many ways is far more significant on a personal development level than the schooling we receive during our formative years.    The lessons being taught throughout our lives can be challenging at times, but also quite exciting and rejuvenating.    The Art of Learning We certainly learn well from our mistakes, or should I say so-called mistakes.  We make what seems to be the wrong turn and then end up in situations we may not choose to be in. However, through awareness and self-study, we eventually move out of the difficult lessons with vital information we take on our journey forward.   So called “mistakes” are great learning tools, so, essentially, they are actually roads to wisdom.   The lessons learned through life experiences do not all have to be taught the hard way.  We still learn from life when everything moves along smoothly and when we are subject to life’s miraculous wonder.    Whether from hardship or appreciation one thing is for certainly, we gain from all life experiences.    Life is a miracle, and we are fortunate to be learning during this time of humanity’s evolution.  Wrap your arms around the lessons that are being taught. Jupiter has a 12-year cycle, so approximately every three years it will make squares to both of your Natal Nodes.  Jupiter is known for its opportunistic applications.  It often brings good luck, favorable conditions, growth potential, new and idealistic teachings into the philosophy of life often through the actual experience rather than through books. Jupiter offers expanded exploration of life in general with an inclination towards newfound information and learned material.   The Nodes (we always have two Node, one known as the North Node or the Dragon’s head and the other known as the South Node or the Dragon’s tail) are tied to our exploration of life. They bring teachings that are required to move towards our destiny as well as the need to use what we have been taught or what comes naturally to us in life (this could be information learned in a previous incarnation).    The North Node is the path ahead which may seem daunting or unrecognizable, especially as we just venture forth in our life’s mission.   The South Node deals with the path we have already travelled and the knowledge we have brought forward to assist us in our venture into the energies of the North Node which is often unknown territory.  The South Node is comfortable because we have come from this place and the North Node can be uncomfortable because it is unfamiliar but is the journey we must take.   The Square aspect in Astrology is considered a difficult one, often producing obstacles, challenges and hardships through lessons learned often through life’s experience.  The beauty of the square aspect is that it is difficult enough that it pushes us into acting on whatever hurdles or lessons are in front of us and pushes us to overcome or at least face the challenging situations so we can learn from them.  It is likely that we need to find a remedy to resolve the issues we are facing.   Jupiter, in most cases, does offer us some resolution even under hard aspects.  In this case, the path ahead may seem unattainable or hard to reach.  There may be obstacles in the way and our progress may seem exceptionally slow. We must venture forward, however, and push through the adversity and find ways to just take one step at a time.    The path behind us may not seem to offer any assistance as we try to advance and although there are hinderances, we know from past experiences that we can and will advance and learn.  If we stumble, we learn from our mistakes and can use this knowledge to move ahead in a new direction which is appropriate at this time.    Jupiter Square the natal Nodes Transiting Jupiter square the natal nodes can be trying, but it will teach us what we need to learn for our new path forward. In about one year after this aspect, the path ahead will be much easier as Jupiter will transit forward to make a trine to the South Node and a Sextile to the North Node. Everything can change abruptly without warning. We could experience love at first sight, win the lottery, receive confirmation we have fully recovered from a long illness, and the list goes on. There is also the other side of this coin, but we don’t have to go into detail for these examples.   The life we lead is subject to change, and we have to be flexible to be able to move forward as required.   Living in the moment and being open to all experiences can be our best practice. We cannot live in the past or live in the future, we must be in the now.  Worrying about possibilities solves nothing for the future but it certainly robs us of the current moment.   Life Can Change in a Minute Don’t worry about possibilities. We can waste our whole lives thinking about what might come.  Many have practiced worry and years later they finally realize that what they were so concerned about never materialized. Wasting the moment by being in our heads through worry is not living.   Embrace and enjoy this moment.  Be right here right now.  Accept what unfolds and let go when necessary. Life can change in a minute. The only thing guaranteed is this moment, right now! Be open and allow.
