GO WITH THE FLOW

Sometimes we just need to pick up the pieces and move forward in life.  Life does not always move in the direction of choice.  However, over time quite often we see why things went the way they did.  We can’t change the past and we need to let go of what might have been or what we thought we could have done.

Go With the Flow

There is no point in holding on to “should have”, could have” or “would have”.  Our actions or lack thereof may be affecting us now, but this too will pass but the lessons will stick with us. Life moves us in a new direction where we need to move.  It may not look that way at times, but all the pieces begin to fit together, and we can make sense of the “why” behind what has happened eventually.

We are not suggesting that you squander opportunities that knock.  Absolutely not.  Seize the moment and utilize what is available.

Things will be fine. Believe this; know this! What was left behind must be left there for the new path to begin unfolding.  Attitude is important. Feeling as though you could have done better will not change anything.  Learn from the experience and let go.

This is a turning point where life begins to blossom again. You can now move forward in the direction of your choice. If you are not sure what that might be, life will direct you. 

All the best in future endeavors and let go of what no longer serves you. Go with the flow.

LET GO & ALLOW

Does it seem as though no matter how hard you try, you always seem to fall short? 

Do you feel stuck?

You know that sooner or later that feeling dissipates but the time must be ripe to move ahead.

Right now, it may not feel as though you will ever get through this period in life, and it may even seem to have been in place for so long that it now almost feels comfortable.  Sooner or later, however, life takes a turn, and a shift takes place. Sometimes, you must let go and allow before change starts to take place.

It is futile to push yourself if you are not ready. 

How will you know when the time is right? 

Let go and Allow

You don’t pick the time; the time picks you.  So let go of what you think you need to do and let life lead.  Allow the time to ripen before you “pick” your time to take that step.

Letting go is the hardest thing to do.  It is not giving up. It is recognizing that something outside of self also has input.  You will feel the shift. It can come out of nowhere.

Have faith in the process and allow.  Life always takes us where we need to go.

REAR-VIEW MIRROR

Occasionally, we may wish things had stayed the same, and we try to live while looking in the rear-view mirror. There are other occasions when we thank our lucky stars that we are out of past situations, and they are behind us.

Whether these were pleasant times or challenging times, for some individuals it does not seem to matter. They hold on to yesterday. 

Rear-view Mirror

The past is gone and will never return in its past glory or in its failed ventures (however you view it).  People leave us, times change, and we work our way through these temporary interchanges.  It is important to move forward without holding on to the past. Living in the past serves no current productive purpose.  The past taught us valuable lessons that we should utilize in our current ventures but we can’t venture forth without letting go.

Even looking towards our future and thinking in terms of what might be is somewhat futile. We really have little idea of what lies ahead.  This does not mean that we should not be prepared for our future but there will be many twists and turns that will be unforeseen.  Plan but be flexible.

All we truly have is the ever-present now. Living in the moment allows us to live to the fullest.  Be here now and experience the moment.  It is all you really have. Stop looking in the rear-view mirror!
