IT'S SPRING

It's Spring

On March 20, 2026, at 10:46 a.m. EDT, we will experience the Spring vernal equinox (Ostara). The Spring equinox is when the Sun is exactly above the Equator and day and night are equal lengths--the balance of light and dark.

Spring brings with it the promise of a fresh start and renewal. Our world and our lives begin to shed their wintery blanket and light shines forth.

Eventually, sprouts will begin to push their way through the soil, trees will bud, the grass will green, snowflakes transform to raindrops and there is the promise of flowers, colour, new life, etc. 

Even without the telltale signs of nature, we know in our heart renewal is coming. Beyond these internal feeling, in a more intangible way, we see the change in the shadows, we feel it in the air, we hear it in nature and smell it in the wind, if we take the time to focus on these things.

Along with this new life springing forth in nature, there is the ability to have fresh starts in our own lives. Follow the example of nature. This is a time of renewed vigor, an awakening if you will. This can draw us nearer to the promise of warmth and sunshine in our hearts and souls, not just in nature. We can mirror and utilize the energy brought on through the change of the season to stimulate and push us in our pursuits, new or old.

A new beginning is at hand with the promise of personal growth depending on the seeds we now sow.

This is the time to renew our motivation, to push ahead and find outlets that can help us renew our commitment to ourselves for further growth, expansion, and evolution.

Springs seems to afford us the energy to move ahead more willingly in our endeavors, particularly those that we had allowed (as we should) to sleep during the winter.

We have hopefully done our shadow work over the winter, looking into our own personal shadows to understand self more clearly.  Now we can shine our light brightly in these corners due to our understanding.  Replace the darkness with light and hope.

This renewed vigor can propel us into new-found areas that may not have been available throughout the winter. It is truly up to us what we plan to do with this energy and whether we utilize it or whether we allow it to slip on by.

Mirror the season and take advantage of the energies at hand. Move ahead into the new. Reach beyond any limits. Step out of the shadows. The only thing holding us back is us. We are our own motivation or our own stagnation. Growth and advancement are a choice.

What can be accomplished with these energies? Nature is offering us something fresh and new to focus on. Nature is providing us with hope and renewal. It's Spring! Plant seeds of promise and nurture them!

Are you a puppet for those that insist on defining your life’s path?

Your Life by Your Design

You may choose to give up your goals due to different responsibilities at the time. Perhaps you are a parent, for example, and you are fulfilling your responsibilities to guide and nurture your children. Because of this, you have set aside other life ambitions to do the best job you can at being a parent. 

Taking it a step further, you may have become lost in the needs of others and find it impossible to fulfill your own wishes due to the obligations you have made to others.

Taking care of your children is certainly a priority. By deciding to have children, you have committed to being a parent and sometimes parenting takes up much of your time but you as an individual are still important.  Fulfill your responsibilities but also fulfil your duties for yourself!  You can’t be the best person possible if you are not caring for the very foundation your children rely on.

When young, your children must have your guidance, support and nurturing. As they begin maturing into themselves, especially in their teenage years, you will notice that they are more influenced by their peers. Letting go is difficult as you have always put them first. Have faith that the seeds of knowledge you have planted have germinated and will bear fruit. 

You are still there for your children but now it is time to let them utilize what they have learned and grow into the responsible adults you have helped groomed them to be.  By doing so, you can now prioritize yourself.

It is not only your children that can set the stage for your priorities. Perhaps these influencers are your parents or your friends, or perhaps your spouse or employer.  It is not selfish to practice self-care. The road of less resistance may be the vary road that steals your choices.

There are always mitigating factors that will try to influence your choices. If you have been neglecting what you know is best for you, now is the time to take back control.  Make a conscious decision to make yourself a priority.  Being pushed into choices you prefer not to make is still a choice.  Take responsibility! Walk the road of self-discovery and make your life by your design.

VENTURING WITHIN

VENTURING WITHIN

There are many of us who believe or at least question the potential for having lived in previous lifetimes.  Reincarnation is a valid question. Some of us no longer question this concept and live by this concept. 

Many privately believe that this is not the first time around on earth and that we have experienced many previous lifetimes.  We also believe that many of those individuals we share our current life experiences have accompanied us previously. They have chosen to return with us to experience and learn life lessons together once again.

This is part of what we will call “venturing within”.  We know or at least believe in the possibility that we have experienced many lifetimes prior to this one. If this is the case, who are we really and what are we capable of achieving in this life? 

Are we to experience a mundane life experience or are we here to create change or do something that is extraordinary compared to day-to-day survival living? 

We may have chosen a mundane life experience in this incarnation.  Perhaps in a previous or several previous incarnations we choose a more action-packed experience and now we just want to relax and not go too deep with experiences.  On the contrary, we may have picked a life where we are the motivator of others, where we hold the torch of knowing to assist others through their journey.  We may have chosen a difficult life, perhaps burdened by health issues, or captivated by the insight of others.  The potential life experience is limitless.

If we choose to go deeper and find out through discovery either from the past or by what lies ahead, we will need to go deeper and mediate on this focus.  We will need to ask for advice from deeper sources that have an understanding that much goes on beneath the surface of our lives.  We only have the capability of understanding through human interpretation, but we also have a link to the higher realms which exists instinctively within our perception. 

Many understand that we are not alone and have guides through our life’s journey.  Some guides stay with us throughout our life, or so it is believed, while others guides come and go according to our needs and growth. 

On a much deeper level, our core self is something well beyond what our human understanding can recognize.  It is much more knowing and will assist us when we listen.  So, when we are feeling lost or disoriented, there is always assistance available. It comes through many different channels.

Opening the door and venturing within means the door will never close again. This is the passage to whatever we seek.  One step inside is a giant step towards understanding.  Don’t hesitate at the threshold for long. Step forward as the wisdom is waiting for you.
