The Aries New Moon 2026 is pushing for personal achievement, and you may feel an aggressive push to achieve your goals. Heal old wounds and start fresh. Due your due diligence and think before you leap.
Aries New Moon 2026

On April 17, 2026, we will be experiencing a New Moon in the sign of Aries.  Aries is the initiator, the starter, and the one that pushes for immediate results.  This New Moon falls at 27° Aries and is Conjunct Chiron which is at 26° of Aries and is Semi sextile to Uranus which is at 29° of Taurus.  We also have a Stellium in Aries with Neptune, Mercury, Mars, and Saturn all within orb separated in the beginning from Neptune at 2° degrees and ending with Saturn which is at 7°.  This is considered a tight Stellium so its influence will be felt.

The energies of Aries, as you can see, is quite prevalent and is pushing those influenced, especially by Conjunction or Opposition to either the Stellium or the New Moon’s position.  Aries is the pioneer, the forerunner and has quite a strong push to achieve what it sets out to do.  It is very personal, although it can affect others because of what it initiates.  So, if this is contacting your Natal Chart, what do you need to move forward with that is quite personal and may have strong consequences as a result of your actions?

This is a powerhouse of energy, and if used in the correct manner, it can propel you in a forward motion which is quite opposite to any form of stagnation you may have had in place prior to this timeframe.

This action is likely immediate and may be rather aggressive.  Those that have planets or angles connected to either the position of the New Moon or the Stellium should certainly pursue their goals.  Remember, the New Moon is the early stages of development and whatever is being pursued may take some time to unfold. Your actions now, however, and the continued effort you apply, will likely be acknowledged when we reach the Full Moon in Aries in approximately 6 months.

The Conjunct with the New Moon to Chiron suggests some healing may be required.  Much will depend on the houses involved, as the houses in the Astrology chart are the areas of life that are being affected.  In many cases, Chiron is associated with the wounded healer, who has the abilities to help others heal, but may have some challenges with working towards healing themselves (check houses of transiting Chiron and Natal Chiron as well).

The Semi-sextile from Uranus at 29° Taurus can be difficult but also suggests that you are in the right place at the right time.  Watch for doing something without much thought, which is quite possible under these powerful connections to Aries, as well as the desire for change which will be created by Uranus.  The desire is to jump and perhaps you need to do this, but at the same time, do not be rash with your judgments or actions. This is even more important as transiting Neptune and Mercury are Conjunct at this time which may cause the thought process to be a little blurry. At the same time, you may be rushed because of transiting Mars having an impact on this Stellium, as Mars is all about action.  Saturn will be the one that pulls you to stop, if even just for a second, to think about the results of you decisions.

The Aries New Moon 2026 is pushing for personal achievement, and you may feel an aggressive push to achieve your goals. Heal old wounds and start fresh. Due your due diligence and think before you leap.

There are some actions in life that we are obligated to carry out. We must have a job in order to provide essentials.  We need to look after our health to enjoy good health. We have an obligation to ourselves first and foremost, but we also have obligations to our elders, family, boss, co-workers, friends and the list goes on, in varying degrees. There are things we must do to keep the flow of growth and opportunities in place.

We have a duty to our family, especially to our children as they slowly move forward into their own lives.  They learn from our example. We are likely reflected in the actions of our children in some form or another.  Because of this, we must set an example that is worthy to be carried forward.

Being that good example comes easier if we have respected our obligation to ourself as we mature. It is important to foster positivity into our daily lives. It is essential to formulate an action plan that includes our wellbeing. We do have obligations beyond ourselves, but we must take care of ourselves to be of assistance to others. You cannot feed someone from an empty cupboard.

We have the ultimate tool required to initiate change. We can change our attitude, first and foremost. A slight adjustment can help us go from chaos to calm. Attitude is perhaps the most important ingredient in making life more manageable, if not enjoyable.
Duty and Obligation

Is our attitude one that promotes or allows happiness, or are we caught up in the challenges and noise of life?

How can we shift our focus away from the noise to accommodate harmony within?

We have the ultimate tool required to initial change.  We can change our attitude, first and foremost.  A slight adjustment can help us go from chaos to calm.  Attitude is perhaps the most important ingredient in making life more manageable, if not enjoyable.

Life can and will be difficult at times.  We cannot change what life throws our way, but we can change the way we look at these lessons.  In our mind, we can change the word “difficulties” and use the word “lessons”.  That in itself is the first step.  We can learn to turn our reactions to actions.  Reactions are uncontrolled.  Actions are purposeful and productive.

It takes little effort to be a victim, but it comes at a high price of stress and lack of enjoyment.  Go from victim to victor over your life experience.  It does take work, much effort, in fact initially.  We are creatures of habit.  Break the habit and exercise the “finding the positive” muscle.  The more you exercise it, the stronger it becomes.

If we look for hatred in this world, we will find much hatred.  If we look for compassion in this world, compassion will show up.

A positive attitude is not going to change the world around you (but it might); a positive attitude will change the world within and make the world around you much more enjoyable.  A life of peace and appreciation is within our grasp and much of what we might want for ourselves is available if we wish to work for it.

Believe in ourselves; push ourselves a little. Make it our duty and obligation to have peace within under any of life’s conditions.  We are strong and resilient. With determination, we can do anything we want to help ourselves through any of life’s situations. We are always learning and becoming stronger if we exercise what we need to.

Transiting Saturn trine natal Uranus wants practical, disciplined life changes to take place based on a cutting-edge approach.
Transiting Saturn Trine Natal Uranus

When Transiting Saturn forms a Trine to Natal Uranus, we can make informed decisions, often involving our career, our life’s path forward and our ability to take a measured and regulated approach to these areas of life.  This will depend largely on what houses are involved in the the astrology chart.  Houses are areas of life involvement.

Uranus natally represents a change of direction when it is time for a much-needed change.  It is pioneering in its approach to life’s matters and desires a degree of freedom in its expression.  It is quite unique and often acts in unexpected manners, but ultimately brings change where change is needed.

Saturn while in transit (and this aspect can last several months depending on whether or not Saturn moves into its retrograde cycle as it passes over your Natal Uranus) brings more structure into your life and an added measure of stability. Saturn often produces long-lasting effects that build into a structure you can rely on as time passes.

The changes that you make during this aspect, when Saturn has its influence, are quite calculated and often considered productive because the approach instinctually by Saturn is to move slowly and deliberately without jumping, which is what Uranus wants to do.  The changes might move ahead slowly (Saturn) or in some cases happen very swiftly (Uranus).  It is best to approach matters with diligence and single mindedness, without swaying while making important decisions.  Original ideas are now taking hold in your life, and your approach should be to maneuver ahead slowly.

The Trine often indicates easy flow and opportunities.  It is wise to take advantage of this aspect as it does not happen often.  It has also been noted by this Astrologer that Saturn while in transit has its most profound effects 2° past being direct.  So, if Uranus is at 14° for example, Saturn will be most powerful at around 16°.  This is due to Saturn’s slow and deliberate action.

Transiting Saturn trine natal Uranus wants practical, disciplined life changes to take place based on a cutting-edge approach.
