VENTURING WITHIN There are many of us who believe or at least question the potential for having lived in previous lifetimes.  Reincarnation is a valid question. Some of us no longer question this concept and live by this concept.    Many privately believe that this is not the first time around on earth and that we have experienced many previous lifetimes.  We also believe that many of those individuals we share our current life experiences have accompanied us previously. They have chosen to return with us to experience and learn life lessons together once again.   This is part of what we will call “venturing within”.  We know or at least believe in the possibility that we have experienced many lifetimes prior to this one. If this is the case, who are we really and what are we capable of achieving in this life?    Are we to experience a mundane life experience or are we here to create change or do something that is extraordinary compared to day-to-day survival living?    We may have chosen a mundane life experience in this incarnation.  Perhaps in a previous or several previous incarnations we choose a more action-packed experience and now we just want to relax and not go too deep with experiences.  On the contrary, we may have picked a life where we are the motivator of others, where we hold the torch of knowing to assist others through their journey.  We may have chosen a difficult life, perhaps burdened by health issues, or captivated by the insight of others.  The potential life experience is limitless.   If we choose to go deeper and find out through discovery either from the past or by what lies ahead, we will need to go deeper and mediate on this focus.  We will need to ask for advice from deeper sources that have an understanding that much goes on beneath the surface of our lives.  We only have the capability of understanding through human interpretation, but we also have a link to the higher realms which exists instinctively within our perception.    Many understand that we are not alone and have guides through our life’s journey.  Some guides stay with us throughout our life, or so it is believed, while others guides come and go according to our needs and growth.    On a much deeper level, our core self is something well beyond what our human understanding can recognize.  It is much more knowing and will assist us when we listen.  So, when we are feeling lost or disoriented, there is always assistance available. It comes through many different channels.   Opening the door and venturing within means the door will never close again. This is the passage to whatever we seek.  One step inside is a giant step towards understanding.  Don’t hesitate at the threshold for long. Transiting Uranus Opposition Natal Neptune The individuals experiencing the Opposition between Transiting Uranus and Natal Neptune would have to be part of the generation with Neptune in Sagittarius. The years of birth would begin late 1970 through to late 1984 (some may have Neptune in Scorpio through parts of 1984).  You will have to check your ephemeris to see the location of Neptune on your date of birth.    The area of life involved with transit Uranus, depending on the house it is transiting through, needs change, and will experience an awakening or a realization and the desire for freedom through some type of evolution taking hold in your life.    Neptune is quite spiritual in its nature, and opens door through visualization, meditation, psychic awareness and spiritual unfoldment.  As you can imagine, this can easily be a period of awakening and some form of spiritualization for those seeking to make more connection to the deep essence of life.   Uranus stays in one sign for about 7 years, and if it goes into retrograde, it can easily remain in orb of Neptune for up to and including one year.  However, Uranus, known as the awakener, has a direct impact when it is direct to Neptune.  As a result, if your Natal Neptune is at 2° 15’ Sagittarius, the exact Opposition would be when it hits this position in the sign of Gemini.  If tuned in, you will feel its influence as it approaches and see its ramifications near the exact time it is direct.  Then after direct contact comes the understanding of its energies over the next several months.   Neptune tends to dissolve anything it touches and pushes for spiritual understanding to take place.  Uranus wants to be rid of anything that no longer suits the evolutionary call and is quite happy to take the mystical approach, although it may not totally understand what is taking hold.  In some cases, revolution, transformation and uprootedness can take hold and likely in unexpected ways. Acknowledge You Are Human Stress and anxiety if left to unchecked can develop even further into dis-ease!   A better approach would be to deal with the stress in life to eliminate anxiety and therefore future physical illness.  Mental stress will take its toll.   It is not self-centred or selfish to care for our own needs.  We cannot fulfil our obligations to those who depend on us if we do not care for our own needs.  We cannot feed our children from an empty cupboard.  We cannot emotionally feed our dependents from an exhausted, anxious heart and mind.   Some disease is a direct result of long-term stress. If we have allowed a disease to progress unchecked, we should never hesitate to seek professional assistance for guidance and healing.   By making conscious changes in our lives and with care to heal the disease, we will have the tools we need to heal and grow and continue our life’s journey.  Focus on good health and aligning practice to produce this are key.   Acknowledge you are human, reaffirm your belief in yourself and step forward trusting. What are the possibilities? Do you acknowledge the significance of mind control and focus, knowing that positive energies manifest as do negative energies?    Focus, belief structure and expectations are the keys to building on possibilities in your life.  Look for red cars on the road and suddenly you notice more red cars than you did prior to deciding to carry out this focus exercise.   Look at or focus on how life seems to have a negative influence, and you will begin to see how challenging and negative life has been.  Prior to focusing your energies on any direction, nothing stands out unless you decide to place your focus somewhere specific.   If you truly begin to believe in this concept and start using it to your benefit, life begins to shift.  You still have moments of discomfort, sadness, or anxiety, but as time passes, you will notice a shift in a different direction simply because of your focus.  The challenges that seemed so overwhelming, no longer seem as prevalent and are much more short lived.  You will notice more favorable events although in reality the number may still be the same. Your focus makes you pay attention to the positive outcomes when they take place in your life.  It is about awareness!   It takes time to make this shift, but it is never too late to begin. You will still experience challenging lessons, but they won’t seem as overwhelming.  Do not expect a dramatic, immediate change. Be patient and develop good, new habits and the change will follow along. You WILL learn patience because this does not happen overnight. It has taken you a lifetime to get to where you are now.    One thing is for certain, you can’t allow your mind to hinder your progress. It will try!  It may feel as though the mind or thought process is being taken over and wants to regain control.  Remember, you are not your thoughts, you are the one listening to them.  This is not to say that your thoughts are not your own; of course they are! On February 1, 2026, we will experience a Full Moon in the sign of Leo at 13°.    With a Full Moon, the Sun and Moon are always in Opposition with one another.  It represents the final stages of the energies that began approximately six months earlier when we experienced the New Moon in the same sign (in this case, the Leo new moon on July 24, 2025).    Leo Full Moon 2026 Again, this Leo Full Moon is the culmination point of our efforts on our goal since the Leo New Moon. If we did not do the required work, which we knew on some level was what was needed over this period, we likely will fall short of this goal. We now reap the rewards of our efforts.   The area of life affected would have been determined by the house positions influenced in your personal chart at the time.  The energies related to the sign (Leo) and aspects at the time will also play an important role in this determination.   If we were to have approached the New Moon sign in Leo by taking control of a situation and doing what we thought was best at the time, we will now reap the rewards of these actions.   An example might be the New Moon being in the first house suggesting that we had to do what was best for us.  This might have had something to do with a close personal relationship.  We might have felt that we needed to move in a direction that, at the time, suited the individual involved. On some level, however, we might have felt responsible for that person (due to the Leo influence). We would also have known that it was important to think of our own needs as well (because of the first house influence which is naturally ruled by Aries in our example).  Other observers may have felt that we were being selfish, but we knew that our needs were to come first and hopefully this is what was acted upon.   When we look at our charts for the Full Moon’s position, it is important to realize that if we do not have planets or angles near its position, we may not be affected too much by its energies. In some cases, when there are no major aspects within a three-degree orb of this placement (13° Leo in this instance), either by Conjunction or Opposition in particular, we will not feel much energy related to this position in our lives.  The other Major aspects (Square, Trine, Sextile) will influence this position if in a close orb, but the influence will not be as powerful as the Conjunction and Opposition.    The Transits at the time of this Leo Full Moon by aspect and within the three-degree orb will influence this Full Moon and how its energies unfolds (as well as the sign and house position in your chart).  In this case, Venus and Mars, although out of orb, may still have a minor impact on what this Full Moon provides.  Venus’ energies influence love and affection or finances and Mars’ energies influence action and the need to push forward.  If they connect to an angle or other planet in the Natal Chart by aspect, they will influence the energies already in place.   The Leo Full Moon 2026 will provide you with the fruits of your efforts over the past six months.  This harvest is likely involving self expression, creativity and the need to help. It is important to work toward resolution for any issues resulting from conflict.    It is unhealthy emotionally, mentally and physically to leave conflict unresolved. Work towards resolution with anything that stresses us. If you can’t do it for someone else, do it for you.   Working Toward A Resolution Stepping forward to sort out issues can be a very difficult step to take but it is the most beneficial one in the long run.   Perhaps you feel as though the resolution is out of your hands or the past suggests that your efforts will go unnoticed or fall short of what is required. The sun went into Aquarius on or about January 19, 2026, locally.  See our articles https://www.holmastrology.com/post/sun-in-aquarius-2026 for more details.   Sun in Aquarius Aspects 2026 Today, we are going to take a quick look at the transit of planets that will aspect the Sun in Aquarius in 2026, a mini forecast for Aquarius, if you will.   When we look at aspects to the Sun, we usually look at the outer planets because they have a profound long-lasting influence due to their slow movement unlike the fast-moving inner planets.  Pluto and Neptune, for example, can have an influence up to and including 3 years as they approach and leave the orb of influence. The orb of influence is about 3° approaching and 2° separating.  Those that are highly attuned to these planetary energies can feel the effects much longer, sometimes lasting 5 years or more in total.   Transiting Pluto is in the early stages of Aquarius, and in 2026 will only move as far as 4° Aquarius.    Transiting Neptune is in the early degrees of Aries and will only reach 4° of Aries during 2026.    Transiting Uranus is in the late degrees of Taurus but will reach Gemini and remain in Gemini from April 26, 2026 forward.  Uranus takes approximately 7 years to move through a sign.    Transiting Saturn can also affect the Sun, and it moves into Aries and conjoins Neptune in February/March, 2026 and will move as far as 8° Aries by the end of 2026.  Saturn takes about 2 ½ years to move through a sign.   Since we try to keep our posts relatively short, we will only touch on the effects of Pluto and Uranus on the Aquarius Sun.  To be affected by these planets, your Aquarius Sun would need to be in the early degrees of Aquarius, allowing for each orb of influence.  It should be mentioned that all of the outer planets are in favorable placements.  Uranus is making a Trine, Saturn and Neptune are making a Sextile and Pluto is making a Conjunction which is the most powerful of major aspects. The Conjunction can be a challenging aspect, but much will depend on what the potential is as suggested in the natal chart.   The Sun is the core of our identity.  The sign placement and house placement define who we are and our purpose in life, at least in part. The Sun helps us define our life’s purpose and creative life force and is linked to our vitality.  It is the driving force behind our personality linked with the Ascendant.  The sun sign is self-directed.  The Sun has to do with our goals in life, and our purpose as mentioned which is also tied closely with our Moon’s Nodes. With this in mind, let’s proceed.   Pluto which is Conjunct those with their Sun in the early degrees of Aquarius is a powerful planet connected to transformation and regeneration.  It holds significant energy in its expression.  Pluto often works beneath the surface and brings things to life that are long overdue.  There is usually a period of deep reflection, and the shedding of unwanted and unnecessary elements. Are you caught up in doom and gloom?    Do you want to stay where your mind is living (your focus)?   Many people have mentioned they feel lost and overwhelmed due to outside sources.  Many are overwhelmed by the current financial environment of uncertainty.   Everyone faces hurdles, some obvious, some not so obvious.  Life holds many experiences.   We have options available to us to relieve the challenges of everyday life.  All things in life are temporary. Absolutely nothing is permanent. Change is guaranteed.  We must learn to act when we can and accept when change is out of our hands.   The most important act we can take is to examine our focus or attitude towards any given event.  We have talked about this many times, but it is so important, we MUST repeat it!  If you are dealing with something causing anxiety and worry, you have to step back and look at it from a clear, unemotional perspective.  What can you change, especially, how can you change your attitude towards this life lesson?   It is not an easy task to shift our thoughts and expectations, but we are all capable of making the adjustments necessary to ease the tensions being felt.   Shift your focus to the great things in your life, whatever they may be (no matter how big or how small).  Release your focus on what is missing; focus on gratitude.  Don’t ignore the life lesson as the lesson is there to be learned.  If we ignore it, it will only heighten the circumstances as we cannot escape these lessons. We can’t hide our heads in the sand.  We must face the situation head on dealing with it in a constructive manner and not get caught up in believing that it will not go away or that we cannot fix the problem.   If we see the positive, we feel the positive.  If we focus on negativity, all we experience is negativity.  It takes work.  We are not suggesting that this will come easy, but refocusing is similar to a muscle.  Keep exercising it and watch is strengthen.  Be persistent.  Do not give up or give in.  Be determined! Dig in your heels!    It has taken years to develop your attitude, it will take effort to change it.  You can do this!   Find resolution by looking within first.  Is your attitude your greatest source of anxiety? Today, January 21, 2026, the Sun moves from Capricorn, a cardinal, earth sign, into Aquarius, a fixed, air sign.    Transiting Pluto has been in the sign of Aquarius since early 2024 and drifted back into Capricorn until November 20, 2024, when it finally took up full time residence in Aquarius and will remain for many years to come.   Pluto will have a profound effect on those with their Sun in the early degrees of Aquarius for all of 2026 and all of 2027 and remains in Aquarius as mentioned for many years.  Pluto is the agent of transformation. The ruling planet of Aquarius is Uranus, which is also quite the agent for change, so our Sun in Aquarius followers will be in for dynamic changes in their own personal journey.    Sun in Aquarius Sun in Aquarius can expect changes in how they define their journey, who they are, and their action plans and they may do so in vibrant ways; in some cases unexpectedly, or suddenly and quite uncommon for their character. Aquarius, however, are known for their desire to walk the road of their choice with their eccentricities and their uniqueness. We will discuss more of the transits for those with their Sun in Aquarius in our next astrology post on January 26.   Let’s focus on the energies of the Sun in Aquarius. A common character trait is their humanitarian nature. Aquarians genuinely care about humanity as a whole and would love to create or help change the course of humanity in a direction that is uplifting and progressive.    Sun in Aquarius individuals have ideas that might be considered visionary and futuristic. Their intensions are moral and their commitment is to help others escape anything that holds them back from moving forward and gaining self-realization.   Aquarians are eccentric, somewhat radical and rebellious, and many want to change anything that is corrupt.  They need their freedom, and they can be friends with people from many walks in life.  They are independent and don’t like to be tied down especially by tradition.  They seek the new, and want to shake off the old, outdated energies that no longer suit their evolutionary quest.  They may not want to be tied down and need their freedom, but most are faithful to their partners and their objectives.   Aquarius’ ruling planet, Uranus, seeks to move away from anything that is no longer appropriate and seeks freedom from authority and control, always wanting to awaken and to be rid of old ways or outdated traditions.   Uranus is unpredictable, so you may never be able to know exactly where the typical Aquarian is journeying. Many Aquarius individuals are considered ahead of their time. Those people that may be described as asleep or not fully awakened to the true nature of life may have a difficult time understanding where Aquarius is coming from.    Some Sun in Aquarius are known as airheads for they are always in their mind and seem to be in a different place mentally than many other signs.  Aquarian do not mind being different, however. Our achievements or lack thereof are based on our personal definition of achievement. To one person, the very act of taking the first step towards a goal is achievement and to another person, achievement is crossing the finish line of their goals.   We must prioritize our goals.  You must first ask yourself how important each goal is to you.  How much effort are you willing to put into each goal?   Review Last Year's Achievements When we reflect on our achievements, bear in mind their priority to you. A half-hearted effort will achieve a less than perfect outcome.  If you gave it a half-hearted effort, it cannot have been that high on your priority list.   If you achieved what you set out to do, congratulations on your effort. It is important to give yourself recognition for your effort.  If you fell short of what you wanted to accomplish, examine why. If it is important, set a new plan for yourself to achieve this goal.  If it is not very important, maybe it’s time to let it go and move on.    Internal dialogue is extremely important. Do not allow yourself to wallow in self-pity if you fall short.  Your approach to life should always be positive but also realistic.  If you fell short, ask yourself what you learned.  If you accomplished what you set out to do, reflect on your plans and efforts used and be proud as you would have had to work hard to make this happen.   In most cases, it’s best to work on yourself first (on your attitude and your own personal belief structures).  You can’t accomplish if you believe from the beginning that you will fail.    Set some goals for yourself for this year.  Make them realistic.  Reach for something that you know is attainable, something that is worthwhile. Believe that you can do this.  Focus on one step at a time. Where transiting Uranus is making an aspect to your natal chart, there is always the need for change on some level.  This can take place quickly and unexpectedly, but we often get hints along the way that a change is required.  In some cases, the change or awakening that takes place can be quite profound especially when it touches our angles (particularly the ASC and MC and the IC and DC).   Transiting Uranus Sextile Natal Ascendant Uranus awakens us to what is required at the time and can also act as a timing device in Astrology when Uranus connection becomes direct.  When it touches the Ascendant as in our focus today, things become quite personal, and others will know or will have heard about what is transpiring in your life.  It is not a secret although it might have been prior to this time, especially when Uranus was closing in on our Ascendant moving through the twelfth house.   The Sextile (a 60° aspect) is considered fortunate and helps us by providing opportunities to make things happen, or in some cases, whatever is required to take hold in life just seems to fall into your lap.  In most cases, you have to do some of the work in order for things to move in the appropriate direction.  It is suggested as you begin to notice that change is needed that you move in that direction willingly.   When Uranus makes a Sextile to the Ascendant, it is often found in the tenth house or the second house, (but not always).  Much will depend on the housing system the Astrologer is using.  If the tenth house is involved, it may have something to do with your occupation and may affect your status in life.  Goals and aspirations may surface, and you can work towards making things happen.  You might be in the right place at the right time, however.   If Uranus is in the second house, this would suggest that security has the potential of reaching new heights in a favourable manner.  Finances may increase, money may be part of the picture, but as far as where it comes from, the rest of the chart would show this, that is if money is involved.  Security can be sent your way through many different channels, and finances might just be one avenue that it may flow through.  You will feel more secure, however, and the future will look brighter.    Transiting Uranus sextile natal Ascendant (or rising sign) is a fortunate opportunity involving a change or awakening that you should take advantage of.  Allow this personal awakening by not resisting the change!     #astrology #HolmAstrology #BarrieAstrologer #OntarioAstrologer #astrologyposts #astrologer #astrologersofinstagram #astrologyposts #astroworld #astrocommunity #astroinsights #astroinfo #horoscope #zodiacsigns #psychic #OracleReadings #transits #aspects #Uranus #awakening #Sextile #opportunity #Ascendant #personal #RisingSign #fortunate #personalawakening #newblogpost   Are you interested in learning Astrology?
