The feeling of being at a standstill or even moving in reverse can be perplexing. We can get caught up in thinking we have regressed. We may even feel we are losing the “muscle memory” of things we have learned and this knowledge or ability has run its course and may never return.    Developmental Delays Perceived notions can hold us back and actually stop us in our tracks. We can allow our beliefs to hold us captive and stagnated.     Everything in life is subject to change. There are times when change is extreme and other times, when we are provided an opportunity to review and process. Uranus, often known as the awakener and initiator of sudden change, points us towards an area of life (determined by house position) that needs alteration and a shift because what has been in place needs to adjust and move in a new direction.    Transiting Uranus can cause havoc and sometimes bring rather drastic changes in people’s lives.  Uranus action is to push to liberate us from anything that could be considered unnecessarily traditional or restrictive in nature.  It often brings change in unusual or unexpected ways, fostering in a much needed new direction.   Currently (July, 2025), Uranus is making its final pass in the sign of Taurus and will move into Gemini lasting approximately seven years.  Uranus is humanitarian and speaks to universal brotherhood and will ultimately assist mankind to develop, evolving to what better suits us as time goes by.  Uranus is comfortable in the sign of Gemini which offers Uranus new perspectives, insight and directions that may not otherwise be available.  There are usually two or more paths to take when we speak of Gemini although Gemini is also quite versatile and adaptable so the change and disruption that Uranus promises will have avenues of expression that suit the evolutionary path moving forward.   Jupiter, known as the greater benefic provides growth and expansion into different areas of life, also determined by house position.  Quite often the placement of Jupiter in the natal chart is an area of potential growth and often brings with it good luck depending on what other forces are at work (planetary alignments to Jupiter).  Jupiter promotes the expansion of our consciousness and teamed up with Uranus, which will be in Gemini, can open doorways to healing where necessary, provide insight into the deeper workings of humanity and provide guidance where it may be needed.   The sextile (60° aspect) is an aspect of opportunities that often provides us with easy flow, like the Trine (120° aspect) although we must apply ourselves to get things moving with the sextile.  This is often unlike the Trine as easy flow often comes to us without much persuasion.  This aspect offers the opportunity for you to harmonize the energies of both planets, creating an aim for a favorable outcome.    Uranus Sextile Natal Jupiter Uranus and Jupiter offer us a chance to make significant changes in our lives, fostering in the new. These may be opportunities we have been waiting for or have been preparing for.  Because Jupiter is involved in the equation, you can expect major changes of direction that over time will prove to be beneficial although it may be a little challenging for those that are not comfortable with change.    The direction that Uranus is leading us in will be exactly what is required although we may not understand why these changes are taking place. Throughout life there are crossroads, some that lead us into unknown territory.  As we venture forward, we adjust accordingly and cross our fingers that we chose the right road.   Freedom of Choice Sometimes the choice seems to be out of our hands and other times we give priority to the possible outcomes even though they are not guaranteed. When faced with these choices, it can be challenging due to the unknown.   Our road ahead can be clear and concise or rather dusty because we don’t see the future clearly. We are afraid of making mistakes. We can only base our decisions on what we have experienced in the past   It should be noted that even under the harshest conditions, on some level, these life lessons are meant to be, and learning and then moving forward based on that knowledge is important.   Freedom comes when we commit to our decisions. Our attitude towards those decisions is more important than the actual move itself.  If we spend too much time worrying about the ramifications of these decisions, we only see those things we perceive we should be worrying about, so our positive focus is imperative.   We always need to move ahead after a decision knowing that it will take us to where we are meant to go, no matter where that may be. All things are temporary but essential as these are the important lessons in life.   We have freedom of choice. You may or may not be aware that what you do in your little corner of the world has an impact on the rest of mankind.  Your thoughts, your preconceived notions, and your focus all have influences on all that surrounds you and the ripple effect reaches far beyond your immediate environment.    In many cases, what transpires due to an action, or a thought does not indicate an evolutionary change for mankind, but it does energetically touch those around you, creating a vibrational energy that expands.  Energy has no ending; it is constant!   Second Nature We shape our world by our focus as we only truly see what we focus on. When we practice focusing on the positive that surrounds us, we may be deeply surprised at how much there is to be thankful for and how much that focus affects those around us.     You can’t simply remove what has been in place for most of your life.  But just as a muscle, you can repetitively practice building a new focus. Sometimes change creeps up on us and sometimes we see it coming.  No one goes untouched by it as change is a certainty.   Will we fight change when it is presented, or will we adapt and comply with change as it enters our lives?    Are you ready for change? Sometimes we have little choice as change is a must.  At other times, however, we have a hand in creating the change.  One way or another we must learn to adapt and eventually accept where life is leading us, as most lessons are necessary.  It is much easier to go with the flow rather than swimming against the current of change.   We are not suggested to give in with every energy that comes knocking. Perhaps, however, we need to sit with ourselves and honestly analyze ourselves and our current situation. Contemplate why change is being presented. Sometimes all we need to do is make a slight tweak and other times we must do a total revamp.  Sometimes, we have choices and other times we do not.   Change can help us move in a more productive direction when life has gone stagnant. Other times change is brought on by our growth as a person. This change is likely to be rapid and is required as your current path no longer suits your evolutionary journey.  You have outgrown your current situation and it’s time to find a new growth path forward.   Much of what transpires will depend on your age, of course, because change is quite different for someone who is 12 compared to someone who is 45.  The twelve-year-old may be highly influenced by parental decisions and perhaps changes due to something taking place in the parent’s lives, such as a divorce or move due to a career change.  The 45-year-old, however, may find that their relationship no longer is viable or their current work position needs changing.    This will be a challenging time although the degree of change is defined more clearly in the natal chart rather than through transits.  The Nodes’ placements by sign and house define the areas of life that are being directly affected by change, while the placement of Uranus by transit may speak in terms of how and in what manner this is being carried out.  Also, we need to look at the placement of Natal Uranus in the birth chart as this will provide greater details on what is unfolding.   Sometimes important people either enter our lives or leave our lives, and this brings forth the need for change or direction.    To take this further, if another transit or natal Planet also makes a square from the opposite side of Transiting Uranus, we now have a Grand Square. At times, we speak out of turn or say things that even before we finish the sentence, we wish we had not said.   Likely on some level, the words needed to be said. Perhaps, it was the best way, at least at that moment, to get your point across.  Often, when we leave things unsaid for an extended period, when we eventually convey our wishes or feelings, they are said in a less than desirable fashion.   Reactions in the Moment Whatever has been said cannot be unsaid, and you must accept the repercussions of your actions or words.  Clarifying or explaining ourselves is a good idea and an apology is essential.   We can’t change what has been said or done in the past so, if for example, our words were cutting due to holding on to unshared feelings, there is a valuable lesson in this event.  Do not let feelings or preferences go unsaid.  It is much better to deal with them in a calm and controlled situation than to express them in the heat of the moment and then regret your expression or actions.   Reactions in the moment happen occasionally to everyone.  If, however, your reactions are continually uncontrolled perhaps a deeper dive into why is warranted.  Be honest with yourself, accept responsibility for your actions and make the necessary changes where changes are required, so that the next time you are confronted with events or the urge to react, you can take control of your actions in the moment and deal with them in a meaningful and productive manner.   Change what you can, speak up when necessary and then let go of the past. If the needed change does not come when you request it and it is essential, walk away.  Remove yourself from the situation if there is no hope for change. Uranus’ energies when in transit bring sudden, unexpected changes.  These changes can be drastic, and unusual, but they are what the soul’s requires, at that particular phase of life.  We often get little hints to let us know that we need to re-evaluate life and move in a tweaked or new direction.    If by chance we decide not to make a change, Uranus’s energies may subject us to rather uncomfortable conditions to push us forward or create events that force us into action or bring action to us.  Uranus, as with the other outer planets (Neptune and Pluto), forces us in directions often without our consent if we resist the change required.   Uranus Trine Natal North Node When Uranus makes a Trine to our Natal North Node, it often brings opportunities to shift in ways that foster growth and provides us with valuable insight which can assist us in making the right decision.  Trines often work in extremely favorable manners.  They are fortunate, work in an easy flowing method and often bring advantageous conditions.  Sometimes we need to act in order for things to open up for us, and other times, life just seems to provide the opportunity without any effort on our part.   The North Node has to do with our road or journey in this life. This path may be somewhat uncomfortable, however, as it is unfamiliar to us.  This is the road we are meant to walk, and life itself will provide what we need to find this path.  We may worry over the unknown, but over time, we begin to understand why life keeps pushing us in this direction.   Often, important people come into our lives to help us on our journey.  They provide the energies needed to advance and can help us to become more motivated in that direction, perhaps providing us with reassurance that the direction ahead is viable.  In some cases, they are people in passing that come into our lives just to help us in that moment.  At other times, they remain in our lives for a much longer period of time and some stay with us throughout our entire life.   It is wise to utilize the energy at hand as this will assist us as we progress on our journey of life and add to our evolutionary growth.  This is an important time in life, and we should listen closely as we are likely to receive input from outside sources letting us know what steps to take.    Transiting Uranus trine natal North Node is a turning point.  Move forward knowing that the path you are being pushed to walk is the one you should be walking.
