On February 18, 2024, the Sun moves from the fixed air sign of Aquarius into the mutable water sign of Pisces.  This signifies quite the change as some Astrologers define Pisces as the final stages of development and that we will begin again on a new page of development continuing from what we have achieved and been taught during the last stage voyage through the Zodiac. Pisceans, in general, do not like adversity and are very compassionate and gentle individuals.  They have a dreamy, sensitive aura about them and are often quite service oriented.  They are deeply concerned with the underdog, and many will sacrifice their own needs to assist those in dire straits. Pisceans can do well as counsellors, working in the fields of psychiatry and/or working in group homes with those that need their gentle approach to life. Because of their desire to avoid adversity, at almost all costs, they have been known to find escape in drugs and alcohol.  Because of this experience, they would do well as counsellors in these fields.  No one knows better and is more suited to helping than someone who has been there.  In some way, they want to help save those in need and will go out of their way to provide support. Many have mystical tendencies and psychic and intuitive perception, and they believe there is more to life than what we see on the surface.  This of course does not apply to every Pisces individual, but a great many have these abilities, whether latent or developed. Did you make a mistake? We have to learn to admit our shortcomings.  It may not be easy to acknowledge that we did something wrong as our ego often gets in the way, but if we are honest with ourselves and we don’t allow ego to get in the way, it is necessary to admit we are human. We can and do make mistakes.  There is not much wrong with honest mistakes, but it becomes more concerning when we do not care to take responsibility. Perhaps someone was hurt because of what we did or didn’t do. Perhaps by defending our mistake or not acknowledging that we made one, the hurt felt by others can go even deeper.  Perhaps it goes beyond the individual we upset or offended and reaches out into the community and we get a reputation for doing what would not own up to doing. A mistake can affect more than our emotions. It might reflect in our public image that we may have worked so hard to develop and now others may look at us from a different perspective. It is not always easy to admit to a mistake, but it is necessary not only because of the potential fallout but because it is what needs to be done for you and your peace of mind. If we review what took place and are honest with ourselves, we know instinctively what needs to be done.  There is no bad intent with a mistake.  We just weren’t thinking. Perhaps it was due to lack of knowledge, an automatic reaction, etc. Sometimes we are justified by what we have done (but in this case, it is not an error but a lack of good judgement). In most cases, a mistake is not as big as we may think and did not have the impact that you thought it might have had. Yet, in other cases, the consequences of our mistake run deep. We will focus on Transiting Uranus square Natal Jupiter in this post. Currently (February 2024) Uranus is moving through Taurus and will remain in Taurus until April 2026.  The square from Uranus will affect those with their Jupiter in Aquarius and Leo.  Currently Uranus is at 19 ° Taurus and will affect those with their Jupiter within range of this degree and as it advances, it will affect those with the later degrees of Jupiter in one of these two signs. Uranus disrupts the current conditions in life which have become redundant and needs change.  It can act on impulse but quite often we get indicators that something needs revamping as it no longer works as it should.  These can be all kinds of circumstances which will be defined clearly by the house placement of transiting Uranus and natal positionings of Jupiter and Uranus in the birth chart. Uranus will create conditions so that you can break free and start anew.  Sometimes all that is needed is a change of direction in part or a re-evaluation of what is now in place so you can make adjustments.  Uranus is not like Pluto; Pluto requires total change while Uranus asks us to look first then adjust.  Sometimes these adjustments are total but often just reframing what is in place is enough to move in a new direction. Uranus is known as the awakener, and this is what it does.  It makes us aware of deficiencies within the framework of our lives and asks us to adjust.  Sometimes we get pushes along the path and if we do not make the required alterations then Uranus can act in a quite overwhelming manner.  These changes are necessary, however, and over the next year or so we will understand why things happened as they did or why we made the moves we made. Squares are irritating enough that they push us into action.  Transiting Uranus, for example, might be sitting on the MC affecting our career or life path.  It can change our direction or make changes to the way we live our life if it is associated with the Ascendant.  It can change direction or make changes to our marriage or a business partnership if it is connected to the seventh house, the home environment and family members if connected to the IC and the list goes on.  Finances are subject to change if the second house is involved, and communication will be adjusted if the third house is part of the picture. If Uranus is in square to your Jupiter, then you can expect things to change in new directions with your religious inclinations, with your outlook on life, with your life philosophies.  Perhaps you feel the urge to travel or enhance your schooling and although the challenge might come with some adversity, your potential for growth and expansion, along with viable results, are possible if you follow through. With this article, we will focus on Transiting Saturn trine the Natal Midheaven (MC) in a chart. Saturn, even in trine to another planet or angle, (trine's energies being easy flow) will still suggests some challenges although this is usually indicative of hard work and being disciplined in your endeavor.  The outcome, however, offered up by the trine is usually more positive, bringing with it more staying power and the construction of a solid foundation for what you are trying to accomplish. When we are speaking of the MC or Midheaven in Astrology, this is often linked to career, goals, aspirations and life status.  In many cases, when a positive influence is connected to the MC, you often get recognition for your efforts.  In some cases, this can lead to being published, especially if the ninth house is also part of the profile or being noticed by the public.  Much will depend on the enterprise that we are speaking about. If this is your career we are talking about, you may find that your superiors have now come to the realization that you are important to their success, and you may now receive some acknowledgement for your efforts.  If this is your own business, although hard work and potential slow progress might be indicated, the outcome looks promising especially if other indicators are telling the same story in your chart.  Don’t forget you need at least three aspects in the chart pointing in the same direction for something to manifest and become noticed.  Without this, the opportunity may slip by with only minor notice or effect. If this has to do with life status and the seventh house or fifth house to a lessor degree are also part of the profile, perhaps you are now ready to move a relationship to the next level.  Marriage is possible and an elevated status may come because of this.  Now there are two of you making your mark in the world in your own way. If Pluto is also crossing the Ascendant or making a positive aspect, this may assist in what unfolds or if Pluto is being challenged, perhaps some ego intervention or power struggles might be indicated.  Much depends on the whole picture. For those with a good Astrological understanding, I would like to emphasize that because of the delaying effects of Saturn, you must give your MC position a 2° orb after it is direct for this positioning to have an impact in your chart. Today, January 25, 2024, at 12:54 PM EST, we will be experiencing a Full Moon in the sign of Leo at 5°. This is a time when you perfected what you set out to do when we had the New Moon in the same sign approximately 6 months ago.  If you did not work at your goals that you set, perhaps now is time to readjust or let things go.  It takes work to reach this culmination point and those that started but did not continue their efforts may now fall short. If you did the work, now is the time to reap the rewards for a job well done or an adventure orchestrated into being.  This is the time to infuse this objective into your life and use what you started with enthusiasm during the New Moon in Leo last August. Transiting Saturn in Pisces will be in quincunx to this position indicating some adjustment to the process.  Saturn is direct at 5° currently.  Saturn can make things a little tedious so you can expect some delays or obstacles to overcome while proceeding ahead. Transiting Jupiter, which is at 6° Taurus will be square to this placement perhaps making the adjustment caused by Saturn a little more difficult to handle.  Jupiter, although usually a favourable influence, can also expand the energies in place, making life a little more difficult as it amplifies Saturn. A square is difficult enough that it pushes so that we want to find a solution to overcome the adversity. We will focus on Transiting Saturn square the Midheaven. Currently (January 2024) Transiting Saturn is in early degrees of Pisces.  If you have your MC (Midheaven) in the Gemini or Sagittarius depending on the degree of your MC, you will be experiencing this square in your birth chart.  Saturn does not move into Aries on a permanent basis until February, 2026, so you will be under this influence at some point during Saturn’s stay in Pisces. Pisces is a gentle, peace-loving sign and thrives on service on some level.  Pisces is spiritual and religious in many cases and is a strong believer in the unseen. It goes with the flow and avoids conflicts of any kind.  It is the dreamer of the Zodiac and many with strong emphasis of this sign in their charts are the visionaries, the mystics, and the escapists of the Zodiac.  The escapist characteristics stem from the want for peace and tranquility. What is your response when life is trying to tell you something? Do you pay heed, or do you try to ignore the nudges? There is a reason why life seems to be dictating action.  A change is needed.  Perhaps you need to revamp your expression and cultivate a more congenial expression or perhaps you have been too soft and have neglected your own personal needs by not being assertive. Sometimes we just need to have a closer, honest look at how we respond in life. Life often gives us hints as to what needs to be done.  Some indicators are easy to recognize and others not so much.  We might not like what we see or may be afraid of making a stand. Your preconceived notions of what you believe you are capable of doing and what you feel needs to change may be clouded by fear. Circumstances can push us so that we face what needs to come to the surface.  Some call this coincidence while others recognize that this is not coincidence at all.  This information can come from many different sources and can be received on many different levels.  The more aware we are, the clearer the message. Happy solar return to our Aquarius readers. Let’s look at some of the Sun in Aquarius transits (2024) that may be affecting Aquarians during their next journey around the Sun. The biggest and most powerful aspect affecting those with their Sun in the early degrees of Aquarius is the conjunction of Pluto to their Sun.  Depending on where your Sun is in the birth chart, this area of life is now subject to massive change.  What was in place previously is now subject to deep reflection creating inner changes as well as the likelihood of changes and transformations taking hold to the current path in life. Some inner ego challenges are likely and the need for an honest look at your life will provide the answers to what is unfolding or needs to unfold as time passes.  This will likely be a long-term adjustment where something, from the past from an inner perspective affecting your life’s path, will undergo a needed change. You likely have been aware of this needed change for some time.  In many cases, what goes through such intense change will now changed on a permanent basis. Conjunctions are powerful energies where planets mold with each other and needed change is brought forth.  Pluto suggests that something needs revamping as it no longer suits your evolutionary quest.  It is almost impossible to ignore. In this case, you are best to listen to the inner voice that is beginning to make itself heard. Go with the flow.  A big part of you knows or understands that you should now change paths on some level and move beyond of what no longer serves a viable purpose.  Look for other indicators in your chart with transits and progressions which will provide you with defined information. Pluto can be quite disruptive, and it is likely that you will encounter some disputes perhaps from others or within yourself.  Ego intervention and potential arguments can be part of the process.  Pluto is a force you must listen to for an easier adjustment. Jupiter and Uranus moving through Taurus will align closely in the later stages of March, through April and ending into early May.  This alignment will create change for those who have their Sun in Aquarius from around 14° to 26°.  This aspect of these planets will be emphasized as Jupiter tends to expand things but usually in positive terms.  Uranus is known as the awakener and brings forth much needed change as does Pluto (With Pluto the change is usually quite complete while Uranus changes what needs to change and can leave the rest untouched). An awakening of sorts takes hold and a move in a new direction is quite possible, especially for those who are going through the Uranus opposition (ages 39 to 43).  These changes might be unexpected or erratic, especially in the eyes of others, but they are needed as things have now become dormant and a new road is in sight.  Uranus always pushes us in directions that, over time, will be suitable for us.  In many cases, we are not sure exactly what that picture looks like now with Uranus and this can be upsetting to say the least. This should be an interesting period for those with aspects to different areas of their chart affected by these positions.  Look to see how Pluto and the conjunction of Uranus and Jupiter affect your chart even if you are not an Aquarius. Now that we are over two weeks into the New Year, it would be a good time to reflect on what last year held for us.  Whether we considered it a good year, or not so good, does not matter anymore as it is now a part of our history.  As with each new day we experience, we are now in the process of a new beginning with a new year, 2024.  What lies ahead is uncertain, but the potential is always there for either great or small steps towards our objectives. After our reflection of last year, perhaps rather than focusing on objectives linked to material achievements moving forward, we can ponder on what needs work on an inner basis for 2024.  There is nothing wrong with focusing on objectives linked to our material world, but that is so commonplace. Let’s change it up and ask ourselves what we can create in this new year. Let’s even contemplate what we would want to bring forward if this were to be our last year.  (We are not suggesting that it is your last year but looking at life from that perspective can push us towards something that truly matters deeply for us). Changes from within offer the potential to bring lasting results and truly can bring out the best in us.  We might not see it in our immediate surroundings, but we will likely feel it on some level within. You will have to be honest with yourself and not push away anything that requires sincere reflection and possibly hard work (not to mention challenging realizations).  The more difficult the reflection, the more rewarding the experience and the aftereffects.  It is yours to conquer and rise above.  We may have to rethink some of our personal pursuits. As one change occurs, others often follow. There is no failure even though at times it may feel that way. “Failure” is only a valuable lesson that helps us to adjust and move forward.  How then can we call it a failure? We can’t fail in our efforts, even what we call a failure brings valuable information and lessons. Again, in a year from now you can look back to review what you have accomplished in 2024 with great satisfaction due to yourself honesty and effort. There are times you genuinely intend on doing something and you promise to do so. You do your best, but you find that you can’t do what you first set out to do.  There may be many reasons, but you still feel you have let someone down as you are not holding up your end of the bargain. Perhaps before we promise to do something, we ensure we can do what we promise, whether that is mentally, physically or financially. It is better to say nothing and do our due diligence and then offer, if you can follow through. It is difficult to hold back, especially if you really do want to assist someone who needs your help, but you must be able to deliver when the time comes. Do not get their hopes up if you are unsure if you can follow through.  Offer a helping hand once you once your know you can help, no matter what that helping hand may look like. There will be instances when your assistance is not supposed to happen in the larger scheme of things. We are focusing on Transiting Saturn Trine the Ascendant.
