Wherever you have Natal Jupiter in your birth chart often reflects a part of life that has potential for development and expansion.  Depending on how challenged Jupiter is in your chart by other Natal positions (planets or angles), it often is associated with good luck, easy flow, and opportunities. The Sun entered the sign of Scorpio on October 22, 2025.  See our article https://www.holmastrology.com/post/sun-in-scorpio-2025 for information about the sign of Scorpio.   Sun in Scorpio Aspects 2025 Today, we will look at some of the aspects affecting those with their Sun in Scorpio, a little forecast if you will.    For those with their Natal Sun sign in Scorpio in the early degrees, Pluto, Neptune, Saturn and Uranus are all making aspects to this position.   Pluto makes a Square moving up to 5° Aquarius in 2026 challenging those with their Sun between the 1° to 10° Scorpio).  Scorpio and the energies of Pluto, its ruler, deal with the ending of conditions so that something new, which is required, can now begin.   Pluto can be rather dynamic and forceful in its actions.  Pluto’s energies demand attention and secure change, sometimes in rather aggressive ways.  You will get early indicators that something needs revamping, and you will be pushed to take action regarding whatever is no longer working.  Pluto addresses the situation with clarity and is quite concise with its requirements.     The Sun in Astrology represents our goals and aspirations and our life passage forward.  This aspect between the Sun and Pluto may cause great strain, especially when dealing with anything that has been put on the backburner or that has not been acknowledged.  It will push for an honest look at what you, as an individual, should be addressing.  It will push you to ask yourself what changes you might make for your life to run smoother.  This aspect brings up things that may not be comfortable to deal with, but at the same time, things that have required your attention for some time now.   Neptune while in Aries, Uranus while in Gemini, and Saturn while in Aries all make Quincunx’s for those with their Sun in the early degrees of Scorpio.     A Quincunx from Neptune suggests that you might not be seeing things clearly and that you need to address the situation and adjust.     The Quincunx from Uranus suggests that a change of direction is at hand, and you now have the ability to awaken to a much-needed change that not only is required but will eventually move you in the necessary direction proven at a later time.  Uranus also makes an Opposition when it moves back to Taurus and those with their Sun sign in the later degrees of Scorpio will find that others may push them in directions that they may not want to go or want to acknowledge.   Jupiter will be in the sign of Cancer from 15° (it will move retrograde and then direct making a Trine to those born with their Sun in these degrees). The Trine from Jupiter offers growth and expansion because, if you have followed your intuition, you have dug deep within and this was required.  Jupiter moves into Leo in July, 2026, and its movement through Cancer can be an influencing factor as you move forward in your life.  Taking advantage of Jupiter’s encouraging position will assist as you make changes to your life’s journey.   These interlinks will need modifications to take into consideration other influences in your personal Astrology chart. Today, October 21, 2025, we will be experiencing a New Moon at 28° in the sign of Libra.    A New Moon signals a beginning.  This is the time to start something, to create, to establish and to set things in motion that might have been on the backburner for some time.  This does not mean that you should wait for a New Moon’s energy before beginning a project, but that the energies are ripe for such an undertaking.   Libra New Moon 2025 Libra has to do with finding balance, putting things in the right order, and the desire to make things just and honest.  There can be a lot of deciphering taking place and evaluating what needs to be done to ensure things are fair and not weighing heavily in one direction.  In many cases, because the New Moon is in the sign of Libra, relationships may be a focal point.  These relationships can be related to our marriage partner, a relationship with a close friend, the relationship you might have with one of your children, or a relationship which has to do with your career or someone within the work environment.  The houses involved will provide you with further information as to who this personal or relationship might be about.   What you start now should be ready to finalize or harvest some six months from now when the Full Moon in in the sign of Libra.  The outcome will be reflective of the effort and energy you put into this goal.  You will either reap the rewards of your efforts or fall short of your goals depending on the efforts involved.    Transiting Jupiter on October 21 will be at 24° Cancer, making a loose square aspect (usually we only use a 3° orb) to the Libra New Moon.  Pluto will be at 1° Aquarius making a Square aspect to the position of the New Moon as well.  Neither of these Squares are considered overly powerful, but they, particularly Pluto, will affect the energies related to this position of the New Moon.  Jupiter may add to the influence and build on what is in place, creating some difficulties in moving forward although with the right effort, you will be able to push through the challenge.   Pluto often speaks of disagreements and some kind of power struggle related to what is being put forth.  It may indicate an ending of sorts before something new can take its place.    Both planets being Square to the New Moon’s position speak of challenges and hurtles to overcome, but because the disruption is holding you back in some manner and making things hard, you will want to make changes.  Finding solutions will be part of the process as you move forward.   Transiting Jupiter and Pluto are making a weak Opposition to one another suggesting that with the squares to the New Moon, there is a T-Square aspect.  Think of a T-Square as a chair with only three legs with one leg missing.  There is a need for balance.  Any planet at the Opposition point of this New Moon in the natal chart will give you information as to where you might want to put your energies.  Too much emphasis is being put on the New Moon which is quite challenged by the two squares. Again, if you look at what might be missing (indicated by any planet at the opposition point) you will create the needed balance.   The Libra New Moon 2025 and the aspects to it want you to find balance and meet any challenge head on likely related to a relationship. The Sun moves from the Cardinal, Air sign of Libra into the Fixed, Water sign of Scorpio on September 22, 2025.    The Sun has a 16° orb of influence; therefore, those born on the cusp of Scorpio will also have some Libra or Sagittarius characteristics depending on which cusp is influenced.   As far as decants are concerned, those born in the first 9° 59’ of Scorpio have a double Scorpio personality, those born between 10° to 19° 59’ have Scorpio with some Pisces tendencies, and those born between 20° and 29° 59’ of Scorpio will also have Cancer tendencies but for all of these decants, the Scorpio traits are always the strongest.   Sun in Scorpio 2025 Scorpio individuals are strong-minded and are hard to sway once their mind is made up.  They are intense, deep and emotional although their emotions are usually buried deep within.  They do not like to reveal their sensitive nature, and most Scorpio have parts of themselves that they like to keep private.    Under most conditions, a typical Sun in Scorpio is reserved, somewhat quiet in nature but when they speak, others listen.  They are ruled by the planet Pluto, co-ruled by Mars, and this is primarily what makes them so intense and deep.  Because of Pluto’s influence, they are subject to overall change taking hold at some point in their lives, going through deep examination within and making decisions based on what comes to the surface.  They can review the darker sides of themselves with great clarity and make changes because of these revelations.   Many Scorpio are interested in the deeper realms of life, which were once considered taboo.  The occult and hidden matters hold great importance to the typical Scorpio, and they will often venture into these realms with extreme interest.  They are fond of analyzing and will bring hidden matters to the surface and face them head on.   Scorpio has been known to be quite sensitive and sensual in nature.
