Neptune Conjunct Natal South Node If you have transiting Neptune in Opposition to your Natal North Node, it will also be Conjunct your Natal South Node’s position.  The Conjunction is more powerful than the Opposition, therefore, we will focus on Neptune and the South Node.    It should be noted, however, that the Oppositions, however, always have something to do with other people, and in this case, it’s quite possible that they are interfering with your path forward.   The South Node has energies similar to Saturn and having the South Node Conjunct Neptune suggests that there is a degree of uncertainty and things are unclear about the path forward.  The house placements will define the area of life involved.    Neptune tends to cloud things when in challenging aspect.  Perhaps, you feel as though you are to blame for a recent issue in life, or alternatively, you may feel that someone else is the problem and they are making things difficult.  In most cases, it would be wise to reconsider and to take some responsibility although at the same time not to take total responsibility because likely the other individual is quite involved in what is going on too.   Currently (September 2025), Neptune and Saturn are in proximity to each other.  This in itself suggests a problem with distinguishing between what is real and what is not real.  You may have your eyes closed because what is taking hold is quite challenging and you may not want to see things as they are.  Perhaps you may feel that things will likely clear up over time and you may very well be right, but you cannot “hide your head in the sand” even if this is the case.  Be realistic and don’t worry where you don’t need to. Give and Take in Appropriate Proportions It is important in all relationships (marriage, friendships and even in business) to have a balance of give and take.    With maybe the exception of a business relationship, we need to feel loved not just needed.  A relationship is based on balance. Before we go into details with Jupiter square natal Ascendant, we should share that this positioning of Jupiter squaring the Ascendant is highly influenced by the condition of your Natal Ascendant by aspects from other natal positions, as well as aspects coming from other transits. This must be taken into consideration when assessing our aspect focus today.   Jupiter expands on things.  In most cases, even when it is making a Square which is considered a challenging aspect, Jupiter still expands energies and can bring things to a head.  Jupiter’s natural tendency is to bring good fortune, favorable conditions, and opportunities.  Even with the Square aspect, this holds true, although not without some work or challenges.  Perhaps the road to success is somehow blocked and there are hurtles to overcome before reaching the desired results.  Perhaps the result is not quite what you had wished for but is still favorable.    Because we are referring to the Ascendant, what unfolds is often personal but also out in the open for the public to see.  It will be “out front” and obvious.  This may have something to do with relationships, work, life’s objectives, etc. Much will depend on the houses involved. Look not only at transiting Jupiter’s placement but also at its Natal position by house and aspect. This will give a clearer picture of the potential outcome of Jupiter’s square to the natal ascendant.   The Ascendant can also deal with health and if, for example, the Sun, the sixth or twelfth houses are part of the connection, health will be involved.  If, for example, someone has been seriously ill for some time, this square aspect might indicate an end to the suffering.    It should be noted that health, or any other indicators for that matter, must be suggested in more than one place in the chart while reading the transits.  For something to have the energy to unfolding and have a real effect on life, we need at least three different positions suggesting something of a similar nature before we consider the energies as a solid possibility.   Another example could be if perhaps you are traveling under this aspect. You may run into some unexpected difficulties especially if Uranus is part of the picture, but things will usually work out fine after the difficulties have been dealt with.   Having a look at the ruling planet of your Ascendant will also provide indicators. (For example, if Scorpio is rising, Pluto is the ruling planet. Open the Door Open the door. Learning to be patient is by no means an easy task, yet we are often faced with the need for patience daily.  They say patience is a virtue and through experience, we must agree that practicing patience leads to less stress. Those that have learned patience know that things move along just as they should and sometimes even though we feel ready for the next step, in reality, we may still have a little more to learn or practice before moving forward.   Patience and It's Rewards We must develop patience to remove stress from our lives. Most things take time, and when impatient, we just create anxiety and worry when these are not necessary.    If it feels as though life is standing still or moving at a snail’s pace, utilize the time to reassess things. Without dreams we place limits.   We will get to where we need to go in good time, and we will also be ready for it when it arrives.    Use the quiet times for mental processing to be ready when opportunities come knocking. Jupiter, while in transit moving through each sign (which takes about one year), will at some point make a Sextile to your Natal Saturn.  The natal aspects to Saturn in the birth chart will have great importance with this placement.  If Natal Saturn is poorly aspected, this placement of Jupiter will not be as simple a lesson as it would be if Saturn were well aspected natally.   Saturn in the birth chart speaks directly of the area of life that is challenged in some way.  Even a well-aspected Natal Saturn still represents an area of concern, and hard work is often indicated.  Some struggles can be anticipated but with certainty and a positive attitude things can work well for you if you apply yourself in whatever direction is required.  Saturn is the teacher/the disciplinarian of the zodiac and suggests that we need to work for our rewards in life.   Transiting Jupiter tends to bring easy flow and opportunities when it touches our natal planetary positions and angles.  Natal Jupiter’s position is an area of growth and opportunity.  You must integrate the natal potential with all transiting aspects but particularly when dealing with Saturn and Jupiter together.  Jupiter expands and builds potential, while Saturn restricts and delays the opportunities at hand, creating some structural obstacles that need to be rectified and worked through.  Structures often refer to our attitude and beliefs as well as challenges found within the environment itself.   Sextiles are similar to Trines in that they can help with situations, bring opportunities and add to the overall picture in a favorable manner.  The difference is that we must engage ourselves to reap rewards with Sextiles although sometimes things may just fall into our lap. Two steps forward and one step back.  It feels that way sometimes, but in reality, we are always moving forward.   The biggest issue with advancement is we judge our progress and our perceptions are not always accurate. At times, it certainly feels as though we are advancing, but at other times, we feel stagnated or held back with little to no progress.  At least this is our perception.   Every step of the way on our journey is a learning process.  Sometimes the lessons are challenging, sometimes less challenging. Nonetheless, the lessons are always valuable.   Perhaps we need a little adjustment or tweak to our thinking process?    Our perception and attitude towards life greatly affects the journey.   We can get caught up in setting goals for large achievements and not receiving recognition from others. We can feel as though we have failed by not reaching the pinnacle of our goals. We ignore the progress that was actually made.   Give Yourself a Pat on the Back for Always Moving Forward! One step at a time should be our timetable.  Focus on learning from the experience. Utilize the information gathered from these lessons. There is no such thing as failure. We are capable of switching that perception at any time.    You are always moving forward. Change your attitude from disappointment to gratitude for all that has been learned and for all that is. Read here: https://www.holmastrology.com/post/sun-in-virgo-2025   Transits to Sun in Virgo 2025 Today we will review some of the transits that will influence those with their Sun in Virgo over the coming year.   Transiting Mercury is in the sign of Virgo from September 2-19, 2025 while transiting Venus is in Virgo from September 19 through to October 13, 2025.  They will not make a conjunction with one another, but as they move through Virgo, they will make connections to all those with their Sun in the sign of Virgo.    Transiting Pluto is in the early degrees of Aquarius and will stay in this sign for many years to come. Pluto will make aspect to some Sun in Virgo by Quincunx. Check your chart for the appropriate degree (150°) to see if your chart is influenced. Sun in Virgo 2025 On August 22, 2025, the Sun moves from the Fixed Fire sign of Leo into the Mutable Earth sign of Virgo.    As a side note, with signs that are on the cusp of another sign, energies from the two signs interact with one another.  The further into the sign (up to 7°) the less the previous sign has an influence on the individual’s personality traits.  A sign which is less than 1° is almost equal in personality traits of both signs.  With this in mind, you can read our Sun in Leo 2025 article from July 21, 2023 https://holmastrology.blogspot.com/2025/07/sun-in-leo.html  if your sun sign cusps both Leo and Virgo.  The same applies to the other end of the Virgo Sun sign with Libra. Our Libra article will follow in about four weeks.   Those with their Sun firmly integrated into the sign of Virgo will view life from a microscopic perspective.  They incorporate all of life’s conditions into their scope and do not miss anything that enters their scope of influence.  They have a keen eye for detail on a most minute scale and see all the tiniest of flaws and imperfections, seeking perfection at every turn.    Depending on the rest of the chart, most Virgoan are very conservative.  They like the tried, tested and true.
