What you do currently is always in your hands. Through action, you will discover what you are capable of doing or what may be holding you back.  You will come to terms with the challenging impacts of advancing and then decide if you should let go of this goal or if you should fight to move forward with your objectives if there are obstacles in your way.

Strength comes from within. We all have great capabilities, likely more than we believe we have.  We (with our attitudes) are the ones who hold ourselves back, and when it appears that others are playing a part in this (which at times they can be) we are still hold the power to decide if we allow them to persuade us to back down.

The discovery part is to recognize your inner desires, your inner resolve and/or your inner reservations. This is a lesson of self-discovery.  What you do from this day forward determines your progress.  If you listen to the defeating inner voice, you will be defeated. If you listen to the determined inner voice, you are determined. There is always a choice to be made and the only one making that decision is you! 

Have courage and strength to follow your dreams. Allow yourself to stifle the mind’s chatter and become closer to the real you, the inner you. 

If you don’t like the response your get when you turn inward, you haven’t connected with the real you. You have only listened to that chattering mind. 

Strength and growth come from life’s experience. Do not be afraid of failure.  There is no such thing; failure, if seen clearly, is actually a lesson providing valuable information. It is now your choice to stand up and take another step forward. The more challenging the lesson, the greater the potential.

Discover and embrace your strengths and potential. Push forward. Experience Life.  This is yours to discover.

ANTICLIMACTIC

Sometimes we build up expectations to much more than what actually unfolds.  This can be a relief if our minds have run with a disaster scenario. We can also blow the positive out of proportion and in the end be very disappointed.

Hopefully, more frequently, we usually end up somewhere in the middle.  It can be hard to not let our imagination run with us, bringing all kinds of potential into our imagination.  We manufacture situations and circumstances and can be completely lost within them even though they are not real.

We may think that our lives are about to take a turn for the worst and picture many different scenarios that may transpire. We may imagine that we lose our jobs, have a marriage breakdown, get into an accident, cause relationship issues with friends and the list goes on and on. 

What actually transpires in likely far from what we conjured up in our minds.  We can worry excessively, become anxious, cause dis-ease, etc.

It is best not to get carried away with our imagination as it causes unneeded concerns or potential let-downs because what we thought would happen didn’t or couldn’t materialize.  Worry only accomplishes our enjoyment of the moment but never has a productive influence.

I am sure many of us have thought about how life would be if we won the lottery and built this up in our minds and when the final draw happened, we were truly devastated.  Our minds can take us down many different paths.  If we took a step back, it is quite interesting to watch as a spectator where the mind try to take us at times.

In the end, it is important to experience what unfolds without living it a million times in numerous scenarios created by our imagination. We can do our best to avoid unwanted outcomes, if we actually have a part to play in that outcome. We have lessons to learn, and it is so much easier and healthier to let life lead and teach us.  You might be pleasantly surprised at what unfolds. 

My point is to “live in the moment”. The moment holds all that we need and is not anticlimactic.  Avoid unnecessary, fabricated anxiety or expectations. Where life takes us is exactly where we need to go.

THE BUSINESS OF ACHIEVEMENT

Building a name for yourself through your own effort can bring great feelings of achievement.  It takes time to achieve goals but the effort can also be quite rewarding.  Some individuals may get tired, impatient or expect instant success.  Quick recognition is possible, but under most conditions it takes time to prove your abilities and your staying power.  A constant effort is required and no matter what, giving up or giving is not an options when your goals are doable.

The Business of Achievement

Maybe your goals are not business oriented or material in nature. What if you are trying to achieve something spiritual and expand your knowledge on how this life/the universe works? 

When it comes to the psychic or spiritual goals, what lies ahead is often an unknown path.  Preconceived notions should be left by the wayside, and we should be open to what comes. These goals are less about self and more about openness.

Do not be embarrassed to have spiritual or material goals in life. There is nothing amiss with wanting to advance in the material world, after all we are currently living in a physical world. Financial success has its perks. We are here to learn about the material world. A little reminder, however, there is more to this life than meets the eye.

Goals in life can be achieved.  Be open and flexible and give it your all.  Don’t give up. Most things in life are temporary. Once we reach our goal, we often strive for something else.  Comfort levels are also temporary as they continually change over time.  Work towards your plans whatever that plan may be. Be in the business of achievement!
