The quality of your life depends largely on our mind’s processing abilities or processing inabilities.  Your satisfaction with your experiences depends totally on what you decide to accept and identify with.  This is not to say that the world and the events around us are of our choosing because sometimes life dictates.  War, pestilence, natural disasters, genetics and those in control are not in our control, yet on some level, not understood by many, our attitude dictates how we feel about our experiences. Those of us that believe in reincarnation believe that we have agreed to take part in the lessons we experience as our life unfolds.  So, to a degree, we must take responsibility when responsibility is ours. Yours to Create As we maneuver our way forward, even if it seems as though we are moving backwards, we integrate outer stimuli into our attitude and our experience. We make our way through the adversities and lessons and form opinions.    We may question if rough times will never end, or we may be of the mindset that change is guaranteed and this too will pass. We do the calculations and decide. The choices affect our own experiences. See difficult periods as lessons and expect growth and then you will experience growth. If you expect life to be hard, due to this expectation, life will feel hard.    We also have the power to decide that we will not hold on to life lessons but welcome the new knowledge.  If we see them as lessons, without ownership, we learn and move forward. Because we believe life moves forward, change will grace us, and the difficult lesson’s “experience” is left behind.   You are the creator of your life, based on what experiences you choose to own and what you decide to release.  This life is based on how you view your personal circumstances and what you choose to believe might lie ahead.  Your thoughts build over time and you begin molding the concepts of your reality based on what you choose to listen to or hold on to.    You are not your thoughts. You are the one listening to this ever changing and constant internal dialogue or chatter. You and you alone can make decisions for change if you are aware that you have this control.   How you experience all life lessons and their effects in your life are controlled by your attitude towards them. Do you see yourself as a victim or a student who can overcome, grow and move forward?    You can get caught up in all matters in life and build on them because this is where your attention dwells. This Transit between Pluto and Uranus will slowly beginning to be felt and becomes activated starting July, 2025 and still remain in effect into November/December of 2025. This will be an alignment suggesting favorable outcomes from a world view.    We will be publishing an article on Wednesday, April 30 concerning Transiting Uranus and Saturn making a favorable connection as well, during a similar timeline.    Transiting Pluto Trine Transiting Uranus The Trine we are focused on today between Transiting Uranus and Transiting Pluto will be strong towards the end of the summer and into the fall but remain strong off and on into 2026.    Both Transits are agents for change and both can be rather dynamic in action, particularly Uranus. Pluto can be subtle in the beginning but rings in powerful energy as it becomes more prominent over time.   Trines and Sextiles are the aspects we wait for in life and in worldly terms still suggest favorable conditions both offering the opportunity for change of direction and positive outcomes over time.  Sextiles offer opportunity energy while Trines offer positive energies and easy flow almost without any assistance or effort required.  The sextile however suggests that action should be taken and effort is required.   Pluto transforms, regenerates and creates power struggles. It is imperative that we do what we can to keep our bodies and mind in a healthy state.  Having regular checkups, exercising, eating well and paying attention to our thoughts or focus are all factors in how well we maintain our health.    Health and Wellness Our number one priority would be our self-awareness, whether this relates to listening to our bodies, how we think about ourselves, how we relate to issues in life or react, or if we focus on negative health concerns whether these health concerns are based on symptoms or imagination.   Age should not create worry or concern even though we do tend to slow down a little as we age. We must look after ourselves no matter what our age.  The earlier we begin a healthy lifestyle, the healthier we will be as we age. The habits we form throughout our lives determine our attitude, focus and wellness.   If and when we do encounter health issues at some point in time, this is when we must adjust our thinking in such a way that we can challenge the issue.  Cancer, for example, is far too common but those that remain positive about their outcome have been noted to have a greater chance of full recovery.    Our attitude about life has a great impact on not only our mental health, but over time is reflected in physical health depending on how long and to what degree we choose to allow negative thoughts to permeate our day-to-day living.  Our mental approach to what happens in life is key to not only being healthier but also to being content with our lives.    This is not to say that we should stifle ambitions or become complacent. It means that our very thinking process affects our everyday lives both today and in the long run.   We have a greater chance of meeting and overcoming any challenging life situation with a positive attitude and learning where to focus our attention.    Death is a guarantee in life and maybe we can change our attitude towards this transition as well.  Our passing does not have to be a negative experience if we can change our attitude towards it. It is inevitable. We would not be leaving our physical body and moving on from this life’s journey unless we were ready to do so.  We have completed our course and fulfilled our objectives even if we do not understand what these were. We will graduate and at that point are ready to move to the next level of awakening. It’s just a new chapter.   In the meantime, be thoughtful of your health and wellness to make the best of this current journey. Taurus New Moon 2025 On Sunday, April 27, 2025 @ 3:31 p.m. we will experience a New Moon in the sign of Taurus at 7°.    This New Moon will affect those with any planet or angle within a 3° orb of this placement by Major aspects only.  The strongest of these aspects, in order of significance, would be the Conjunction, Opposition, Square, Trine and Sextile.  Just so this is clear, we will use the Conjunction and Opposition for example without any reference to the planet or angle involved in this article.  So, a planet or angle from 4-10° either by Conjunction (in Taurus) or Opposition (in Scorpio).   A New Moon by definition is when the Sun and Moon form an exact conjunction with each other.  This signifies the beginning of something new in life.  In approximately six months when the Full Moon is in the same sign (Taurus in this case), we reach a culmination point of whatever energy and direction we put into our goals.   With a New Moon in the sign of Taurus and depending on the house where it is located in your astrology chart, this will be the starting point to implement more structure into your life.  This in turn creates more stability and something that can be reliable over time.  Taurus works slowly but meticulously and without restraint. On April 19, 2025, the Sun went into the sign of Taurus.  See our post www.holmastrology.com/post/sun-in-taurus-2024 for more information on Taurus   Aspects for Sun in Taurus 2025 There are three transiting aspects connected with those with their Sun in Taurus for 2025 that we will focus on for our mini forecast.    The first one, the more challenging one, is Transiting Pluto, which will be making a Square to those individuals with their Sun in the early degrees of Taurus.  Transiting Pluto currently (April 2025) is at 3° degrees in the sign of Aquarius.  This often suggests a need for change usually because things no longer suit our evolutionary growth.  Something may have gone stale or is now going through a challenging time, and something needs to change. This energy is likely quite personal and may have something to do with your goals and your path forward.  Although Squares are considered quite challenging creating obstacles and obstructions, they are difficult enough that they often force us into action, which is beneficial.  This barrier is not necessarily something brought on by others, so we can work our way through things by orchestrating the change that is necessary.  We likely must do the work required, however.  Often because Pluto is involved something must end for something new to begin.   The next two aspects we will combine. Transiting Uranus is making a Conjunction and Saturn is making a Sextile for those with their Sun in the later degrees of Taurus.    Uranus is currently at 25° of Taurus and Saturn is at 25° of Pisces.  These two planets have totally different energies. Uranus is an agent for change and often found in cases when things are being stir up. Uranus motivates us to act.   Saturn, on the other hand, has to do with stability and structure. Saturn does not like change but under these circumstances, Uranus pushes for change. As a result, there may be some push and pull before the changes indicated by Uranus take hold.   This combined energy may cause you to worry about the changes that are to come or that are already beginning to take shape. The old and trusted things in place feel much more secure but change is what is required; and over time, when things begin to settle in, you will realize that this transformation was just what was needed.   On a worldly note, not just affecting Taurus, the energies of Saturn and Uranus are quite visible at large currently.  These two were within minutes of each other on April 2, 2025.  They will remain significant likely for some time easing off in September/October of 2025 and then starting up again towards the end of 2025 and finally passing through and making a powerful positioning in early 2026. The energies will finish off into the spring of 2026.    One thing should be noted, Saturn and Uranus are in sextile to one another suggesting that this is an opportunity aspect considered to be favorable even though these energies do not mold well with one another. Sextiles require your work so don’t just sit back.   There will, of course, be other factors to take into consideration as the whole chart must be reviewed for a full picture.    The aspects for Sun in Taurus 2025 highlighted include Saturn, Pluto and Uranus. These suggest change to structure and new beginnings after leaving the old behind. On April 19, 2025, the Sun moves from the cardinal, fire sign of Aries into the fixed, earth sign of Taurus.   It should be noted, if you were born at the beginning or end of a zodiac sign (each sign has 30 degrees) you are considered cusping the sign. As a result, you will take on the energies of the preceding sign (if born at the beginning of a sign) or the next sign (if you were born at the end of a sign). It is important to know what degree your sun sign is to establish if you are cusping your sun sign.     The Sun has an orb of 16°; so for example, if you were born at 2° Cancer, you would still have your Sun in Cancer and Cancer would take up about 10° of your sun sign but your sun would also take up about 6° of the the previous sign of Gemini. As a result, both signs would characterize your inner persona.   Sun in Taurus With the Sun in Taurus, your inner personality would represent reliability, consistency, dependability. Some days just don’t feel the best, while other days feel spectacular. The latter, we always wish to hold on to longer.    Tomorrow is another day. Allow and release! For the days we wish we didn’t have to experience, it is often best to let go and know that tomorrow is a new beginning.  You never know what the future might hold, so holding on to what “was” serves no purpose.  If you hold on, it is impossible to move forward.    Yes, some days feel very heavy. They can rob us of our peace and contentment and cause us much pain, emotionally, mentally and even physically.  We can linger in the memories or remnants of a difficult day for a long time, and experience extreme emotional moments because of it.    It is important to experience the emotions attached to what unfolded as we can’t run away from events and our emotional response to them.  Dealing with some of the harsher moments can have profound lasting effects on us, if we choose to dwell and in some cases, being lost in an emotional event can cause us ill health.   We need to take each day, one at a time and work our way through adversity, acknowledging that we must feel whatever is necessary but that this too will pass.  Visit every lesson but do not take up residence there. Being stuck in a lesson can create health issues, relationship issues, career issues and the list goes on.   During those moments of sheer joy and exhilaration, enjoy the experience to its fullest by living in that moment. Acknowledge gratitude. Be thankful.    Look around you. Do you see people just move along their old route, semi-lost in routine, without appreciation for any of it. They cannot enjoy the moment as they do not experience.   We are lucky with what life provides us. Share your life with others when possible. If the experience is personal in nature, seek solace and find comfort in it.   Know, that regardless of what unfolds in life, it is temporary, and tomorrow is another day. Life continues forward, always. Learn from each and every experience.  Wrap your arms around adversity as these are the steppingstones to understanding and growth. No transition is without pain. Love your life, even when it does not seem to be love you back. The Vertex The Vertex and anti-Vertex are points calculated within the framework of the chart, one exactly opposite the other using your exact birth time.    They are both connected to meetings with others.  There is a feeling of destiny and karmic attached to the significance behind these meetings.  Known as points of destiny, sometimes creating turning points in life.  These meetings with others seem fateful and, in many cases, it is as if you have known this individual previously.   The Vertex has similarities to the Descendent and the Anti-Vertex has similarities to the Ascendant.    The Vertex, which is associated with others and our meeting, suggest a feeling that these individuals may fill something that is missing within us, (almost having the effect of assisting in making us feel whole).  There is the feeling of having very little control over the situation and our meeting point. It feels fated in some manner, like it was meant to happen.   The Anti-Vertex has similarities with the Ascendant, but it seems as though when we meet these individuals there is no choice in the matter and once again fated on some level.  With the Anti-Vertex, these people affect us but not with the same impact as the Vertex. Nothing remains the same.  Even those individuals that life appears to flow easily and without incident experience change even if it is not evident to outsiders.  Change is guaranteed for one and all.   This too will pass During times of uncertainty, it is important to understand that even though we may experience our own specific changes on our own, there are others that understand and have been through the same experience, no matter what the circumstances might be. Reach out to others, if not for their input, then for their support and knowing.    There will be times when we feel as though there are no solutions and nowhere to turn but there is always a solution which could be as simple as a change of attitude or focus. Others can offer resourceful alternatives but ultimately, we must make the decision on how to move forward.  We are always equipped with the answers to any issue but there are times others can nurture a seed we previously forgot to nurture.    The world situation is stressful to some. Uncertainty can cause anxiety and worry. It is hard to move forward when you do not know all of the circumstances of the situation. Once we realize that worry and anxiety only create more issues, we can begin to accept that life lessons are inevitable. If we are open and flexible, we will learn these lessons with more ease. Acceptance (that they are happening) is often a solution to these situations, and although nothing changes, our attitude begins to shift, and the weight is not as heavy.     Our focus is what is important. If we focus on being a victim, we will remain a victim.  If we focus on being a survivor, we survive and move forward.  There is a common resolution to all problems and that is our attitude towards what is taking place.   We have the necessary tools to conquer all anxiety and fear, but we cannot use that tool until we recognize it is there. Change your pattern of thinking. This situation is NOT insurmountable. We will learn from this lesson and this too will pass. Be aware of your focus and attitude. A Full Moon signifies the conclusion or harvest time of seeds we planted in the garden of life some six months ago when we had the New Moon in the same sign. What began then is now completing its course, and the fruits of our labors are revealed to us.  These results or culmination points are directly related to the amount of energy we put forth to reach our goals.   Full Moon in Libra, 2025 This Full Moon is in the sign of Libra at 23°.  Libra often has to do with relationships and the need for balance and harmony associated with people that are important to us.  Partnership is often what this speaks to and the house in your chart this Full Moon is found in will indicate the area of life involved.   The astrological houses (12 all together) ruled by signs on the cusps and occupied by planets will have a huge impact on how this energy plays out.  For example, if the eighth house is involved or highlighted then shared resources are part of the picture.  If the fourth house is involved, the home and family will be active agents during this phase.  If there are planets that are either primarily in Conjunction or in Opposition to this placement and only out by no more than 3°, they are influences in the unfolding story.  It will also be important to see how these planets are configured within the framework of the Natal chart.   A Full Moon always has the Moon and Sun in opposition to one another.  In this case, the Sun is Conjunct tightly with Chiron, known as the wounded healer.  Chiron’s Natal position in the Birth chart often depicts an area where you are good at healing others but not so good at healing yourself.  When Conjunct the Sun, it indicates that your goals, aspirations and path in life need healing at this point in time.    This can also speak of the Husband or Father, and it suggests that some harmonizing is necessary to achieve the healing that needs to unfold, and a balancing act will likely be part of the process.  You may want to be diplomatic at this time and avoid any confrontations if possible.  Work within the realms of peace and gentleness but say what must be said.  This has been in place for some time now.
