Many people when they think of Astrology, they think only of the Sun Sign. We have had much discussion of late concerning links in the birth chart indicating potential psychic abilities and pronounced intuition. I personally believe that all people have the potential to unlock psychic abilities but it is imperative to believe that these are talents dormant within. The birth chart does, however, indicate those individuals that may be able to access these abilities easier than other individuals. The following traits are normally found in birth chart of those with developed psychic abilities or potential. We have also found that those not blessed with the following traits in their natal chart may have indicators through the progression of the planets at point in their lives. Remember, however, the birth chart is a lifelong blue print of your journey, which is forever unfolding. You can overcome any challenging aspect found within the natal chart by promote positive energies into your life through your focus and by utilizing the energies and trends offered during specific times in your life (and this is where an Astrology Chart truly shows it usefulness). It is more common for women to have more psychic characteristics than men. This is due to the fact that in order to bring these character traits to the surface, we have to utilize our instincts and sensitivities. Most women have, through their nurturing nature, developed these traits early in life. This is not to say that men do not have these qualities, as today’s men are learning to develop their compassionate and sensitive side. As a result, we are seeing more men enjoy their abilities and psychic nature. Quite often people with Grand Water Trines have psychic or intuitive abilities as their sensitivities are often not hindered. Many people with a strong element of water in their charts, particularly Pisces and Scorpio, have links to psychic potential. Pluto and Neptune in close sextile also often points in this direction. Those individuals with a North or South Node connected to Pisces, Scorpio and Cancer have these abilities. The North Node suggests talents that have yet to be developed but will be pushed to the surface during this life, while the South Node suggests that these psychic potentials were cultivated in a past life and are carried forward and usable in this life. Saturn connected to Neptune may steady the psychic abilities and keep the individual grounded. Alternatively, it may suggest a hindrance or blockages in developing this potential. Rising signs often carry energies creating potential for developing psychic abilities especially Pisces or close ties to Neptune of a positive sort (sextile, trine or perhaps the conjunction) to the ascendant. Cancer rising can also suggest psychic abilities, often suggesting strong mothering instincts and a nurturing personality. We will experience a Lunar Eclipse on August 7, 2017. This Lunar eclipse will be 15 degrees in Aquarius. We are posting this article early as the energies of an Eclipse will be felt prior to August 7. This is Part II of a two part post. Part I was posted on July 31, 2017. As mentioned in Part I, it is important to review you Natal Chart to see which house this eclipse will be in as this is reflective of the area of your life that will be affected by the energies. If this event makes an aspect to a planet or angle, especially a conjunction, this eclipse will be very powerful and could cause you to search deep within. Eclipses force us to look within and to dig up any unresolved issues or character traits that may not be overly desirable. It will be up to us to be honest and open to anything that is uncovered and then after careful review make any desired alterations. There are times when eclipses will bring change, random change. This is an Aquarius eclipse. Aquarius in this equation will bring awareness and often sudden, unexpected change. It is not unusual that we have stalled into set circumstances and now is the time to reach out for something new and invigorating. Look for change that will stimulate learning and growth. Uranus (the ruler of Aquarius) is the awakener and brings about change and sometimes revolutionary change. The changes that are stimulated will be of benefit to larger groups of people and humanitarian enterprises could be the offspring of the changes that are now being put in place. The changes you are facing may be much bigger than you, and what you do with your life can have a profound effect on those around you. With this in mind, take your time to think things out. Make sure that what you decide to act on has the benefit of a greater good. This eclipse will bring something to the surface that you are to deal with. The truth surfaces and once you recognize what that truth is, you will be asked to take action. Make sure you see the truth for what it is as these transformations set in motion can have profound effects. Eclipses should not be feared. Also have a look at any progressed Planet within a few degrees of 15 degrees Aquarius and the house ruled by the progressed planet as this may also be affected. The house position in the natal chart and progressed chart are very important factors when it comes to areas of life involved. It should be noted that in 19 years from this Eclipse, the degree and sign will be stimulated once again within a few degrees of where it is now. As a result, the energies at work now will once again be in force. The houses affected in 19 years in the progressed chart will more than likely be changed as they move forward one degree each year. Take a look to see where you are in life. We are speaking more on an emotional level. Do not judge. Just note the facts. What have you learned over the past year and how has it affected you? Do you feel stronger? Are you more in touch? The inner self is always able to withstand most any external stimuli experienced. This inner self has great resilience. At times we may believe that we are regressing in the physical world, but in reality our outer personality may be dormant as we are strengthening our inner core. We are not referring to our higher self or soul. That foundation is permanent and can be relied upon at anytime. We are referring to the individual that you are building throughout the process of this life. This inner self is the outer layers of the onion, if you will, that we are currently growing. We can do a professional job using professional tools or we can do an amateur job and ignore the tools at hand. The more we practice with the tools available, the more precise we become using them. Many of these life experiences have been put in place for our greater good and we are equipped to deal with these experiences either on our own or by asking for assistance. We are never at the mercy of life, but we are at the mercy of our thoughts. Be wary of negative thoughts. They have no real benefit. Live in the moment as much as possible. The ego mind is silence when we are there and through that silence we can focus on what is important. Can we take a moment to remind ourselves of the blessings that are coming our way, the blessings that are bestowed on us regularly in our day-to-day lives? You may decide to change residence or redecorate the family home, especially if the fourth house is the area of life activated in your chart. There may be changes in relationships of significance such as marriage partnership or the dissolution of a marriage particularly if the seventh house is activated. Remember the house in which the eclipse falls is under scrutiny; however, if this event does not touch off another angle or planet in your chart, the energies may be very light and hardly even notable. Many people fear the energies of an eclipse. This is as a result of their energies fostering growth and change and often through aggressive manners. It should be noted no matter how traumatic the energies may be, these changes are necessary. These energies assist you to move forward in life. These energies ensure that you do not stagnate as some of us resist change and do nothing when something needs to change. A Lunar eclipse is emotional in nature and makes us aware of life’s conditions and may now bring endings to some of these conditions, if this is necessary. For the remainder of 2017 and up until May, 2018, transiting Uranus will be in the final degrees of the sign Aries. It moves into Taurus in May of 2018 and then goes retrograde and moves back into Aries in November, 2018. Finally in March, 2019, Uranus will move back into Taurus. Aries is a fire sign so those that have their Sun in Sagittarius or Leo will be experiencing the trine to their Sun sign during these periods. The Trine aspect, in general, is considered a fortunate aspect, although (for example) if someone has been struggling with an illness, with the prospect of a cure, this aspect’s energies can define the finalization of this energy and give details on the passing beyond the turmoil which has been impacting the individual. In all cases, it suggests easy flow of energies and often opportunities along the way. Uranus always speaks of change and sometimes the changes being brought forward can be disruptive yet stimulating. Uranus’s energies bring about exciting change and new adventure. In most cases, the changes brought forward (sometimes of your own accord and sometimes by the nature of life) will be what are required at that point in life. Life may have stagnated on a personal, spiritual or evolutionary level and Uranus will stimulate action. Quite often the periods when Uranus is direct in our charts, we can count on changes although how the change takes place may be unexpected. Transiting Uranus is used in predictive Astrology as a timer of events. With an aspect activated in our charts with Uranus, there is little doubt that we will grow through the resulting experiences. The areas of life involved will be defined by the Astrological houses involved in the equation. The Sun in Astrology often has to do with goals and aspirations and this may be the time for these focus to be stimulated. This could involve a business proposition, a job opportunity, a project that you have been working on now. The likelihood of success is enhanced during this aspect period. The Sun also speaks of physical health, and many will begin new physical regimes during this time. You may find that you are looking after yourself much better during and after this period and what you set in motion can be followed through on and permanently incorporated into your routine. Using these energies in a positive manner can bring about great results. If you choose not to act on these energies you are wasting a great opportunity and you may be forced down the road to take alternative measures to alleviate what could be settled now. Part 1 has posted on July 24, 2017. (TRANSITING SATURN TRINE NATAL SUN) (21 to 29 Degrees Sagittarius) Saturn will affect your natal Sun in Leo if your Sun is between 12 degrees to 29 degrees Leo. It should be noted that Saturn during the later stages, towards the end of 2017, will not only trine a Leo Sun but will also trine a Sun in Virgo up to 8 degrees. Transiting Saturn, although often described as challenging and abrasive, will help the overall conditions set forth by the previous transits of Neptune and Pluto described in our post on July 24, 2017 for Leo. The adjustments will still be necessary but Saturn will provide some clarity to the Neptune transit and also stability and structure to both Neptune and Pluto. You will feel as though you are being tested throughout much of this period, but with careful and diligent effort to make these constructive changes to your life, you will gradually feel that things are not only settling in, but that they have the feel of stability and will stand the test of time. Saturn does make you work and put forth the effort in achieving your goals but also offers solid footings when the work is done. Transiting Jupiter until the end of this year will also be making a sextile to those with their Sun in Virgo up to 25 degrees. Check an ephemeris to ensure what degree Jupiter is in during these periods. Jupiter moves rapidly about one degree every five days while in direct motion. As always, check which house your natal Sun is located in, which house/houses transiting Jupiter will be moving through and the house cusp which Leo is ruling in your natal chart.
