If your Sun is either in Gemini or Sagittarius and in or around 10 degree, you have had Transiting Neptune squaring your Sun. Neptune has probably been in square to your Sun for up to 1 ½ years and I imagine that you have been on occasion struggling with these energies and are getting a little fed up with uncertainty in life. If you have the Sun conjunct the Moon in your natal charts, you are designated as a New Moon Child. This conjunction makes you self-contained, self-absorbed and self-tolerant. You rely on your own senses and you believe that you do not really need anyone else to make you whole, unless you have Libra as your Sun sign or have powerful Libra tendencies (Libra people believe that they need someone to feel complete). With sun conjunct the Natal Moon, you also have great inner strength that will carry you a long way. There is very little that gets in your way and you have little conflict between your conscious decisions and the emotional response to these decisions. The emotions and mind generally work alongside one another with this conjunction. You will, however, have to check to see if there are challenging natal conditions linked to this conjunction especially from Mercury, although this is likely to be of minor significance. Do you need a change? At times we become complacent and although life seems very comfortable and familiar, we feel a need for change. Perhaps your job no longer gives you a sense of fulfillment, yet still provides you with adequate income. This transit of Pluto to the natal Moon suggests intense emotional interaction and change in your life. This is a powerful connection and deals with your psychological ability to deal with emotional interactions either with others (people in your immediate environment) or inner dialogue, with the intent of bringing whatever needs to surface out into the open. There are many living in this world under conditions that could be considered less than appropriate. Many struggle through life wondering if there will ever be reprieve from their deplorable conditions. They see no clear way out of these situations and they have very little hope, if any. We, although some do tend to have lives riddled with struggles, usually find ways to cope with these hardships. Some seek refuge from outside sources, while others find their way through making the best of the little they have. Many of us cannot begin to image having to live under such appalling conditions. Imagine for a moment living with an addiction to drugs or alcohol. Image living a life so wrapped up in these addictions that you have to beg on the streets because your additions have taken away your ability to hold a job. Imagine that no one cares whether you live or die. Not all street people are there because of additions. Imagine, through no fault of your own, not being able to afford your next meal. Imagine losing your job and as a result, losing your home. The next time you see someone who is living on the streets, approach them without judgement. Can you offer them a few kind words? Can you offer them a portion of your lunch? Can you take them to a restaurant and buy them a meal? Could you offer them as little as your change for coffee? Could you offer them a blanket or a coat? Can you try to reflect on what their situation is actually like? Now for a moment reflect on how perfect your life truly is. Giving without judgement is a challenge for most of us and it is hard not to become weighted down with judgement. Some of us through our judgements walk away and loose the opportunity to help those most in need. Is it possible next time that instead of walking away, we offer something even if that something is only a smile or a kind word? This small gesture may be immeasurable to those that suffer in desolation. We never know where these individuals have come from in life and even where they are going. The Quintile is considered a minor aspect in Astrology. When two planets or significant points are in Quintile with one another, the angle is 72 degrees and for the Bi-Quintile the degree is 144. We will be focusing on the Quintile in this post. This aspect has a very tight orb of influence and you should give it no more than one degree of separation. (70-74degrees) The Quintile is an aspect linked to inspiration, talent on a very individual level and creativity. This talent is considered to be God-given and is not necessarily a learned art. It is often unique to the individual and the creative style of the recipient is distinctive and sets them apart from the rest. It is said that the Quintile has a resemblance of the energies of Mercury and is linked with the mind and thought process. There is uniqueness in the work of these individuals and they often pursue their distinctive style relentlessly. It is as if they are obsessive and there is a need to master their particular technique. The talent is uncommon and in most cases it is not something that can be learned from sources outside of self. Perhaps those that possess the talents linked to the Quintile are being guided through spirit. Any planet that forms a tight aspect to one of the planets or points in this configuration would add to the overall picture of the energies and offer some insight into the possible ramifications and outlet for the talents to be released. The need for these individuals to understand their inborn traits is immense and there is an obsessive quality linked to uncovering their full potential. This intense search can become a life-long passion and they will not stop short of complete understanding and full use of the talent in question. They have an obsessive need to learn it completely. This will be their prime objective. Their search for perfecting and understanding this talent will intensify as time passes. It would seem that many of us have been brought into this life to work as healers, some as traditional health care workers such as a doctor or nurse and some as energy workers using hands-on healing modalities (Reiki, EFT, The Bars, etc.).
