On October 23, 2023, the Sun moves from the Cardinal Air sign of Libra into the Fixed Water sign of Scorpio. We will speak primarily to those people with their Sun in Scorpio. On a different level this post can apply to those with their rising sign in Scorpio or for those with planets and/or MC in the sign of Scorpio. They often are inclined however to know what goes on deep inside of others. Today we will While in retrograde, it might have made an aspect to your natal Mercury and now may return and make an aspect again. Today, we will focus on Transiting Pluto square Natal Mercury. If Pluto does make a square to your natal mercury and if this is the first contact by square you can think of this time as an intense period of re-evaluating the whole thinking process which might have you wondering about the knowledge you have accepted as truth for some time now. Your ideologies and concepts may go through intense transformation under this aspect. Because we are speaking about the square aspect, this period (often long lasting) can not only be intense but also quite disruptive and challenging. Conflicts can arise about your beliefs and others may insist on changing your mind. At the very least, you should review your ideas. This is especially true if there are opposition aspects from other transits currently or oppositions to this point in the natal chart. (Mini Forecast) Transiting Uranus and Neptune are both making quincunxes to the Sun for those individuals with their Sun in the sign of Libra. Transiting Uranus is at 9 and 10 degrees in the sign of Taurus in retrograde, while Neptune is in the sign of Pisces which went direct yesterday, October 4, 2020, at 22 degrees. Uranus stays in retrograde until January 14, 2021, and moves from 10 degrees down to 6 degrees of Taurus. The quincunx or inconjunct is an aspect of 150 degrees. You can allow 2-3-degree orb when approaching your Sun (or any other planet in your natal chart) and an orb of 1-2 degrees while separating. The Quincunx is considered a minor aspect although when it is direct to any planet including the Sun, it is considered quite difficult and challenging. It has to do with the need for redirecting the energies of the planets involved, as it feels as though the energies cannot merge with one another. You need to redirect the energies in such a way that the areas of life defined by the house positions can integrate with one another and work together. This takes adjustment on your part and as these energies are not something that is hidden or weak, they force you into action or are pushing you into action (similar to the way a square operates). First, however, you need to become aware of the energies in place and then move forward in redirecting them in a more cohesive manner and this can be difficult. Uranus in the sign of Taurus seeks to redefine and assimilate something new and original into your life that offers both stability and structure but at the same time also conveys information that the way things were, now needs adjustment. Uranus seeks the new and pushes us in the direction that is more suitable for our ongoing evolutionary quest for understanding. Neptune in the sign of Pisces is at home as this is the ruling planet of Pisces. Neptune in its lower octave speaks about disillusion and fragmented truths, often pushing us to look at life from a more realistic approach although vision and intuition play a strong part in the unfolding. Because this is a challenging aspect, it will be important to view the areas of life involved from a practical, sensible, and accurate point of view. Do not be led by illusion and look at the area of life indicated by house placement with clarity although this will be difficult as feelings and insight can deflect from what is real. The Sun has to do with our path in life and our objectives and goals that we set for ourselves. The Sun is a personal planet in that it is our life force and who we are internally which may be revealed to outside sources or may be kept private depending on the individual. Because the Sun, in this case, is in the sign of Libra the area of relationship may be a huge part under scrutiny at this time. There is a need for adjustment and perhaps reconciliation and fairness and of course justice when it comes to matters of importance. There is a need to find balance and harmony but through a new alignment or alteration when Uranus is involved and the need for honest interpretation when Neptune is part of the picture. This can also relate to business associations, social interaction, the need for refinement and things of beauty but above all else the need for peace and balance. Do not try to deflect what needs alignment. Work towards a resolution that is fair and just. Work with others but also make sure that your needs and objectives are part of what unfolds in a favorable manner. It may likely be a difficult one to maneuver your way through. Do not forget that transiting Uranus will go direct in January, 2021, so you may have to go through the process once again as it crosses your Sun for the third time, once when direct, once when in retrograde and once when direct again. Are you at a place in life where change is a requirement, and you are ready to make these changes? Change indicators are set in place when life has gone stagnant. We will focus on Transiting Jupiter sextile Natal Venus. Transiting Jupiter moves through each sign in approximately one year therefore taking 12 years to complete a full cycle through the zodiac. T. Jupiter moves into retrograde (appearing to move in a backward motion) once a year. During its retrograde cycle, it can make aspects to planets or angles up to three times, making these aspects from Jupiter more relevant. Jupiter is the planet of good luck, expansion, growth, and easy flow. Its energies are what we wait for and in many cases good things happen (although when we are having an extended difficult time, it can exaggerate what is already in place). E.g. If someone were to have terminal health conditions, Jupiter’s energies can influence the situation to end the suffering. Jupiter’s energies are in place to expand situations. A sextiles aspect indicates opportunities. When Jupiter is in sextile with natal Venus, it can bring good opportunities for a romance to blossom and go to the next level. Unlike the Trine aspect, however, with the Sextile, you should put energy into the situation for it to go to the next level. It is said that everything stems from the heart. Should we then look within our heart (emotions) first when dealing with adverse experiences in life which have evolved into physical conditions or “dis-ease”? In what ways could we change our lives or our perspectives to alter less than ideal conditions now apparent in the physical body? What can we do from a purely mental perspective to re-examine our lives? What changes need to materialize to have a productive physical effect on our body? Are we happy? Are we content? What can we do to change the direction of our life if changes need to take place? How will these changes affect those around us and what can we do from a personal perspective to make changes that not only make us feel better emotionally but also help those around us to find peace as well? These are questions that we can certainly reflect on. If someone closely involved in our day to day lives is being beckoned to make changes yet they ignore these calls, it may be time to help them see what is required. If they still resist, then it may be time for us to do some house cleaning. Those that are holding us back and creating conditions in our lives that are not in line with our journey cannot be allowed to stand in our way. It is best to think of what we need to live a healthy, fulfilling life. It is not self-centred or egotistical to care for our own needs. We cannot fulfil our life’s journey if we have not cared for or taken care of our own needs. Sometimes our journeys go in different directions as we progress and grow. If we have allowed a disease to progress unchecked, we should never hesitate to seek professional assistance for guidance and healing. By making conscious changes in our lives and with care to heal the disease, we will have the tools we need to heal and grow, as this is part of our life’s journey. Our mental construct always plays a significant role in our health, and we can never move out of challenging health related matters if we do not believe we can change things. Focus and alignment are key to overcoming all matters that stand in the way of our growth and healing. There are always avenues to pursue, but the first step that needs to be taken always come from within. This title was specifically chosen to draw your attention. In reality, the soul does not need cleansing. It is the human portion of our being that might be in need of some cleansing. On Saturday, October 14, 2023, we will experience a Solar Eclipse at 21° in the sign of Libra. Anyone with planets or angles within three degrees of this placement in their natal chart, either by conjunction or opposition or to a lesser degree by the other major aspects will be influenced by this eclipse. Check the placement of this eclipse along with the aspects it makes, and the natal configurations attached to this position in your chart. Natal potential will give a clear understanding of the energies in place and their potential in your specific case. Each chart will have different dynamics in place and although the energies of a Solar Eclipse often bring the same conditions into life, the areas of life will differ from person to person. Solar Eclipses, although quite different from a Lunar Eclipse, often signify the likelihood of some form of stress or in some cases a crisis. Today, October 10, 2023, Transiting Pluto goes direct. Pluto has been in retrograde motion since May 2, 2023. Pluto in direct motion is the time for those individuals who have a planet or angle either Conjunct Pluto’s position (27/28° Capricorn) or in Opposition to this placement to go through some important changes and major transformations. The Square, Trine and Sextile aspect also have influences on this position but the Conjunction and Opposition are the most powerful. Pluto direct is a time when you can move ahead with any issues that might have been buried or left on the back burner. You should move ahead with these matters, bring things to the surface and face the matter, even if it is hard to face. Pluto’s action can be intense and feel fated on some level, but insight is often very powerful when we deal with matters of this kind. If a relationship is what this speaks about (check house position for area of life) then it can mean new beginnings or endings that should have taken place long ago. Pluto is literally about death and rebirth and these endings, if this is the case, are likely total and complete. You will want to confront any part of yourself that needs facing or changing. If you have your Natal Jupiter squared by T Neptune you can expect the spiritual energies, the collective imagination and the highly tuned psychic potential to be highlighted. The square challenges Neptune’s inspirational, intuitive, extra-sensory perceptions to be clear and concise. Jupiter on the other hand even though challenged by the square still reflects growth and expansion although the understanding of what is taking place might be a little vague. As of August 2023, those with their Jupiter in the last degrees of Gemini or early Cancer or those with their Jupiter in the last degrees of Sagittarius or in early degrees of Capricorn will be experiencing this square. On August 23, 2023, the Sun moves from Leo, a fixed, fire sign, to Virgo, a mutable, earth sign. Virgo is known for its attention to detail and its wish to find perfection in all it does and in all that surrounds it. Those with strong Virgo tendencies such as their Sun in Virgo, Moon in Virgo or Ascendant sign in Virgo tend to be curious, conservative, and often quite critical especially of themselves. They see all the little flaws in life, and many tend to worry and be too concerned about trivial matters. This is not to say that their concern is not warranted at times, but they can make mountains out of mole hills. Virgoans can tackle tedious tasks and make excellent organizers.
