Amidst Ongoing Disruption

Amidst ongoing disruptions, both personally and globally, we can often struggle within ourselves to find a place of peace. 

Our busy minds tend to interfere with what we would like to be experiencing. The mind’s chatter can create worry and anxiety. Over time this chatter creates a must for quiet. Peace and quiet are an inside job; they always are created from within.

We can get caught up in the fast pace of life and we forget we are not our thoughts. We are the ones listening to the chatter.  Many of us know this but somehow get lost in the hustle and bustle. We are lost because of our loss of attentiveness to self and our requirements.

Take a couple of moments to reflect on how you are feeling and where your focus is. What have we buried deep within or let slip because of our endless struggle to try to keep up in this fast paced world?

Our thoughts and focus create our own personal reality. Whatever our focus we attract into or amplify in our life. Let’s be mindful and curtail our negative thoughts and our thoughts of lack of time and ease. Let’s open the door to peace and enjoyment no matter what the circumstances of our life.  These are a choice!  

Our quest is to rise above life’s hard lessons and overthrow negative influences by refocusing our attention on the benefits of the lessons and to see the creativity and positive energy in all that influences us.  This is not to say that we should not dealing with reality. We cannot ignore what we must learn in this life, but we can choose to enjoy the lessons and slow down to “smell the roses”.

There will be many struggles in life, if we choose to see them as struggles.

Work your own little magic by living your life with a positive focus and with mindfulness, not blindly rushing through routine and reacting to life events.

By being the agents of change simply by being our authentic selves and focusing on that which brings peace of mind, we take control and build on peace and enjoyment rather than stress and anxiety.

Even with the smallest of effort, we will experience positive change which will provide us the strength and focus to address our lessons in life no matter what they may entail. Amidst ongoing disruptions, both personally and globally, with the right attitude and focus we will more than endure, we will overcome and rise above.

Take a giant step into the future, what do you see? 

Do you anticipate clear waters or rough seas? 

Is it stormy, with gusts of winds and hail or is your forecast looking calm with sunshine and pleasant weather?

Preparing For the Future

In many cases even the forecast that we see for ourselves is not always what materializes.  In real terms, what lies ahead is often out of view.  We can prepare all we want for what MIGHT lie ahead, but do we really know what awaits us? 

The future is uncertain, yet we must prepare. 

We live in an earthly environment with earthly requirements. Money and what we consider our valuables are up front and, in some cases, foremost.  So, for many, it is important to prepare from security with that perspective.  Saving a little and planning for retirement or our next journey would be part of our focus. 

We can also be in the process of working on our spiritual existence, our ongoing evolutionary quest and development.  Our existence can be focused on a quest for truth and our awareness that there is much more than meets the eye in this life. We are open to learning and learning to listen.

Our mission to expand our awareness and soar ahead is tied to every facet of life. We are here to learn what all of these “expressions” denote in deeper terms.  Preparing for the future is about experiencing today and what we do with our life in our daily adventures. Our constant absorbing and movement fulfills and exemplifies what lies ahead.

Don’t forget who you are and why you are here.  Your preparing for the future is tied to your daily journey that each moment provides. You are the benefactor of each of your experiences and the knowledge gained not only benefits you but is eventually passing on beyond you to others.

JUDGEMENT CALL

The saying goes “we shouldn’t judge others unless we have walked a mile in their shoes”. 

Judgement Call

We can be a sum of our experiences. We really do not know what has brought anyone to the place where they currently exist.  We know very little, if anything at all, about their personal journey. 

How were they brought up?

What are their innate instincts?

What does their natal chart suggest?

We are just touching on personal influences but even just these three basic influences can greatly impact our development and progress.

There are parameters that are socially acceptable for our actions. It is my opinion, however, that no action is acceptable if it causes strife or pain for us or others.  As a human, this is when it is hard not to judge.

Most of us instinctively want to avoid conflict. Yet is it not necessary to stand up against abuse?

We have not walked a mile in the abuser’s shoes, and judgement is not needed, only action. It is not ours to understand the why, but we can stop the “what” with action and compassion.

Those that create conflict will live in conflict. For every action, there is a reaction. Your actions reverberate and causes waves of influence.

Living with compassion, care and concern is not weak!

All actions should be carefully considered. What is the consequence of your actions?

Make a judgement call on what you are planning to do and what this action or lack of action might do. We can never analyze every possibility, but we can certainly try to do our best in whatever we choose to do or not do. This you can judge….this is your judgement call!
