A Full Moon is the harvest time of seeds planted during a previous New Moon. It is a time when we reap what we have sown and either advance our cause or make significant changes or maybe even begin anew. An eclipse adds intensity to what the Full Moon’s energies are about. Many individuals fear an eclipse due to the reputation of bringing a crisis to the surface or creating a significant change. We can easily get so caught up in the current virus situation and we tend to forget about the less talked about pressures that many individuals are going through. There is still mass starvation, droughts, forest fires, abuse, hate crimes etc. taking place on a grand scale. We need to remember these and do what we can to assist those in need around the world. During the upcoming year transiting Uranus in the sign of Taurus will be moving between 6-12 degrees. Those with their natal Mercury in the sign of Leo or Aquarius allowing an 8 degrees orb will be experiencing this square. We will not be going into the difference between Mercury the planet of the mind and communication in these two signs, but we will discuss how Uranus can affect Mercury when in the square aspect. Uranus’ energies are about change of direction often experienced through sudden or unexpected events. In general, transiting Mercury moves quickly through the Zodiac. It moves through a single sign in about 3 weeks. When it goes retrograde, which occurs about 3 times a year, our plans to sign agreements are best left until Mercury goes direct again (each retrograde cycle usually last about 4 to 5 weeks). Many fear Mercury retrograde cycles but this cycle should be used as a preparation time so that we can move forward once Mercury returns to direct motion. Mercury retrograde would be especially strong in an Astrology chart if it conjuncts, squares, or is in opposition to an angle or planet by less than three degrees and especially if Mercury is retrograde in the natal/birth chart. When Mercury moves across the Midheaven, this would be a time when our profession or work holds importance. Perhaps this would be a time to prepare for upcoming events, or to make significant plans that will have an impact on you and/or others. When Mercury crosses the Midheaven, communication in any form is highlighted. It should be noted however that in general the energies of the Midheaven are not directly related to your personal life so whatever events may take place will not have an impact on your private life. If Mercury is in retrograde, this should be a time when you review any details that need to be addressed for the near future. Do you find that your outlook in general is positive? Do you notice a lot of stress and issues that just don’t seem to want to go away? Currently transiting Pluto is in around 24 degrees Capricorn and will remain in the sign of Capricorn until March 2023 when it enters Aquarius. Pluto will then move into retrograde motion in June 2023 and will re-enter Aquarius once again in January, 2024. Pluto will go retrograde one more time in June of 2024 and then stays in the sign of Aquarius in late 2024 and will not return to Capricorn again. Those with their Sun in Capricorn in the late teen degrees and into the twenties will be experiencing this transit over this time frame depending on the degree of the Sun. Capricorn has a great deal to do with business and enterprise and often speaks of a person who works their way up the corporate ladder of success. We all veer off path from time to time or so it feels. These apparent distractions are in fact in line with what is required at that particular point in time. You could consider these rest periods, verification of your intended course, a time to re-evaluate your current course, etc. So in fact, varying from your intended course is in fact not only necessary but a requirement of the soul to put you on the path that is relevant at this time or to confirm that you are exactly where you need to be. When will you have transit Neptune square to Saturn in your chart? This can be a difficult one. Saturn’s energy deals with structure, discipline, organization and development in the “real world”. Neptune will interfere with these structures as it does not have boundaries and can be illusive in its nature.
