It can be quite a challenge meeting and overcoming hurdles in life and although we would like to rush beyond these hurdles, it is important to take small certain steps…..one at a time. It is important to have goals in mind or an objective to reach as we do continually move forward but we have to be flexible with these. Rigidity causes frustration. There are two nodes in Astrology - the north and south nodes. The north node is tied to your life’s direction and the purpose behind this life, while the south node defines a past life and what you need to stay away from during this life. This does not suggest that you should steer clear of the South Node’s impact in your life only that you have come into this life to work towards manifesting the North Node energies defined by its sign position and house placement along with aspects from other planets or angles to the North Node. Life can run relatively smoothly and then seemingly out of nowhere, we are suddenly propelled into unknown territory. Your financial state does not determine or reflect your state of being. You are not defined by how well off you are or what material things you own. Many get caught up in defining their self-worth by what they own, or how big their bank balance is and some look down upon themselves because of their distorted perception of their own self worth. This post applies to those individuals that are born with their Sun in Scorpio and to a lesser degree those born with a Scorpio Ascendant. In 2015, the Sun enters Scorpio on November 24. There are at least three different types of personalities of Scorpio people and as a result it is often a misunderstood sign. Scorpio is often referred to or designated as the Scorpion whose character traits are often the ones that are less desirable. Do you feel as though you simply have had enough and wish for something to come along to lift you out of the stress and chaos? All things in life regardless of how they currently feel are temporary. Some of us might want to challenge this suggestion as things may feel bad enough as they are without asserting any more energy into something that already seems to be all consuming. We might even feel that the energy required to uncover the higher lesson is too time consuming or too disruptive. If we take the time required, we will gain valuable knowledge which can actually complete the lesson readily. Some life lessons on the surface may seem to have little meaning, but somewhere deep down there is a purpose. Understand that the more challenging the conditions, the greater and more significant the lesson. Do not own the chaos for if we do these events can have profound effects on our well-being. Some of us hold on to the events so closely and carry the burden personally to the point that we can suffer from “dis-ease”. Life lessons can be challenging but much to our surprise, we do have energy and perseverance reserves at our disposal if we choose to utilize them. We can always find a solution to all challenges. They may not be the ones that we were hoping for but we will find the ones that we need. Sometimes letting go is the solution and sometimes digging in and conquering the condition is the solution. Regardless of what the solution is, we must never give up. We are worth the effort. Letting go and “letting life” is not giving up. There will always be conditions in life that cannot be altered. Addressing them from a different standpoint will guide us to a solution. With perseverance, we will find the best possible solution. Do not give up. We must give each challenge in life our all, believe in ourselves and know that we can move through these lessons. This is not to say that we will not experience the lessons that the aspect or planetary position suggests. We do suggest, however, that we can use the lessons to our advantage by making changes conducive to our growth and turn the lesson into something that not only that fosters growth on many levels but adds to who we are as individuals. It is important, therefore, not to get overly caught up in challenging events within the astrology chart or in lessons suggesting disruptions through transit or progression. These are stepping stones to great development and achievements. We have the ability to learn lessons and conquer any obstacle in life including any challenging conditions within a birth chart. It is, of course, up to each individual to recognize this and put it into motion in their lives. Please do not become overwhelmed by challenging conditions found within the birth chart. Understand, beyond question, that you can achieve success on any levels as a result of these challenging positions and aspects found within your birth chart. They are only insurmountable if you decide that they are. We are certainly at the controls of our reaction to our life’s events. Nothing stands in the way of progress except our mind’s focus. It can be challenging when we experience traumatic life events and we may wonder who we can turn when life seems to offering little solace. Often all we need is someone to talk to and speaking our feelings can have immensely positive effects. We get caught up in life events and feel as though we are alone and without option.
