We gradually manifest many of our realities. Belief structure plays an important role in this process, so it is important to always place our focus in positive areas. We draw to us what we concentrate on. It is as simple as that. If we stray from our positive focus and concentrate on any form of negativity, we are slowly manifesting this focus into our life. The creative process is an unfolding story and we have the decision on which course of action, or mental focus we are to follow. If you make mistakes and repeated tell yourself that you are stupid, even if only as a reaction, you are programming yourself to believe that you are stupid. This WILL have repercussions over time. As mentioned, our reality manifests slowly, so if we venture off course now and then, which is quite normal, we will not create a continual negative state in our lives. Repeated negative habits and focus are what we want to be aware of for these are the creators of a negative state of life. The more we understand and accept in this process, the more we begin to see the ramifications of our thoughts and expectations. It also becomes easier to focus our attention as we become familiar with this process. We can train our minds through gratitude and love. In reality, it is an amazing opportunity we have been given and we are fortunate enough to have this realization. If this process were not for us to learn and appreciate, it would not be in front of us now. The longer we reject this idea, the stronger our egos’ hold becomes. Non-belief will not stop the process as nothing can alter the truth, but we are then at the mercy of our ego and risk the manifestation of negativity to rule our journey. The first step is to accept responsibility for your life, then build your future with the power of your positive thoughts and gratitude. Focus on having the intention of creating the best possible scenario for your live and those around you. It is also important to keep in mind that your thoughts gradually do materialize and this manifestation affects you as well as those around you. We can take our focus one step further to world peace, balance and love for all. We are in control of our destiny through our attitude and expectation; therefore, we can build our life on a solid foundation and create a world of peace that not only nurtures us individually, but fosters this on a grand scale for everyone. Pluto moves in and out of retrograde several times each year. It is in retrograde for several months at a time each year. It has been in retrograde since April 17, 2015 and remains in retrograde until September 25. Transiting Pluto is a powerhouse in the horoscope and it intensifies in strength when it makes aspects to the natal chart or the progressed chart. The orb in the transit of Pluto should be no more than 2 degrees, while in progressions it is most significant when it comes within 15 minutes of being direct. When Pluto moves into the retrograde motion its affects intensify and becomes very powerful. The transformational abilities linked to Pluto increase and the regenerative abilities are enhanced. Any power struggles can also become much more apparent when in retrograde so it is wise to avoid interaction that could lead to intense situations. It may be very challenging to avoid life situations that require change especially when Pluto transits a planets while in retrograde. After all this talk about positive thinking, channelling the mind, handling negative circumstances that crop up in our lives, etc., it still seems to be a human nature reaction to stress when good people experience challenging lessons, whether it be yourself, someone you love or a total stranger. The road of life certainly has a tendency to push and pull us in different ways. Without exception all of us have difficulties and hard roads to follow throughout our lives. When one thinks of karma, it is easier to accept difficulties for those groups of people we label as corrupt and karma seems just. It somehow seems right as it is apparent that their karma is of their own making. This line of thinking also creates difficultly when we see individuals that we label as “good” people, especially children, who are experiencing major trials and lessons in their lives. It can be very hard to openly accept the lessons and the “fairness” when we see the difficulties that some individuals go through. The belief of reincarnation can assist with our acceptance but some of us even question, why karmic debts are carried forward into a lifetime that does not recall the debt owed. We infer that in either case these lessons are necessary for the soul’s growth. As mere mortals with our limited comprehension, it is difficult to understand, but acceptance and faith eases the confusion and heartache. Our reaction to life’s events remains a personal choice and time spent dwelling and reflecting on these issues is also a personal choice. Life will happen with or without our approval. Acceptance lightens the burden. At some point, we will understand, but until that day, accept and move forward with your journey keeping your mind wide open to all possibilities. The truth shall be revealed to us all someday, but until then, allow acceptance to life to flourish. You say that you want to explore and live your life to the fullest. When was the last time you had a few minutes alone in nature? Allow its calming effects to penetrate your day’s experience. Allow nature’s serene energy to slip in even the tiniest of cracks of your being. There is nothing like it. Nature’s calm can penetrate into the core of most any less than positive issue as it gently circulates peace and serenity. What a true blessing. Some of us are lucky enough to enjoy Nature close up and personal. For those who have the magnificent view of the mountains at your door step, is it not amazing how it makes you feel so insignificant yet the energy totally encompasses you? A mountain emits power on a unique level, a level that man could never hope to accomplish and it does this without any attempt to do so. It just is. We can all learn something from this. We can understand that in order to reach purity and fullness, we just need to let things be and unfold, to let life take us on our journey. This is not to say that we sit back and wait for life to unfold. We do have the ability to push in different directions and accomplish, but in the overall scheme of things, life does lead our way. Enjoy the peace that Nature effortlessly shares. Feel its warmth, its gentleness and its power and know that it is part of you and you are part of it. These qualities that nature seems to naturally shroud us with can also be found within. We do not have to search too deeply to find this feeling as it is ours naturally whenever we decide to feel it. Love and compassion are our birthrights and nature mirrors the way. It just is and it just manifests naturally. We have the power of thought. With this powerful tool, we can manifest any reality that we wish for ourselves. It is a natural by-product of life and we control our destiny through our interaction with life. When Neptune is transiting through the natal chart and making aspects to planets and significant points (ascendant and MC), it tends to dissolve and/or confuse areas of life. These areas of life can be determined by the house that Neptune is transiting while making these aspects to the natal positions. Neptune tends to make things unclear and unreliable, and it is best to think things out completely before making any life altering moves. When Neptune is challenging the MC, watch for changes to the working environment and your occupation. When Neptune is making aspects to your Ascendant, look for changes to your external life including relationships and sometimes people might even experience changes to their appearance. Life can be particularly unclear and unrealistic when Neptune is making challenging aspects to planets or positions in the birth chart. The square to the Sun for example can create difficulties when dealing with men in your life or individuals in positions of authority. It can also make life challenging as you try to decide what direction you want to take in life. Making important decisions while Neptune is making contact during transit in your chart is not suggested especially if it is making a challenging aspect to Mercury. “Things” may not be as they seem and you might be viewing a situation from an angle that is incorrect or coloured. If, for example, Neptune were making an opposition to Venus in your chart, you may meet up with someone who you place on a pedestal and view as extraordinary. You may think of them as visionary. When Neptune clears Venus and is no longer in aspect, you will see the person in a much more clear light. When Neptune is making a sextile or trine to Venus, however, you may come across your life mate and have connections that seem like they are made in heaven and they may just be. Your perception is very clear on a visionary level and the mystical experience can be highlighted when Neptune is making positive aspects to planets in your chart. Some individuals, depending on their evolutionary state, can gain great insight when Neptune transits through their chart and makes aspects to planets. If Neptune transits your Jupiter, the expansive qualities linked to Jupiter will enhance these psychic inclinations and mystical experiences often producing magnificent insight into dreams and your visionary concepts seem to come to life. The door in front of you is waiting for your permission to be opened. It has no lock and there are no obstructions in the way to the door. The only thing standing in the way of it opening is you. Your perception and your attitude towards the opening of the door is the only thing that can hold you back or the only thing that can push you forward. It is never more than one step away and ability is never withheld from anyone. We are all offered that same passage regardless of past history or even present conditions. These belief structures are ego generated and because you are identifying with this ego, you think of it as living proof that you cannot push ahead or enter that doorway. Saturn has a 28 year cycle and remains in each zodiac sign for about 2 ½ years. During its stay in each signs, it moves into retrograde on a regular basis and about 15 degrees of each zodiac sign experience this retrograde motion. As discussed in an earlier post, Jupiter’s retrograde motion works similar to the regular motion of Saturn when it is direct. Saturn too works similar to Jupiter’s direct motion, and the extreme teaching measures often apparent with Saturn when it is in direct motion becomes somewhat softened when it turns retrograde. Retrograde motion by planets implies that the previously experienced events or lessons may become apparent once again and are now subject to review. Saturn moving retrograde differs in that it normally deals with past issues and while in retrograde, it can open doors to new things that we somehow feel familiar or acquainted with. Some Astrologer link Saturn with diseases that have longevity and the duration of their affect is sometimes lengthened. When Saturn is retrograde in motion, often the individuals that are experiencing these illnesses feel more carefree and worry less about the conditions in their lives. This is beneficial as any concentrated focus will enhance an illness and will draw energy into this area. In many cases, illnesses stem from adverse reactions to life’s events, and it is wise to challenge any obstructions that we may have as these provide opportunities for release. Saturn is also often linked to business in some way and during the course of transiting Saturn turning retrograde in motion, it is wise not to enter into any new enterprising fields. It is best to wait for Saturn to turn direct before moving forward with new business decisions, even if you may feel positive about the outcome. Saturn is the planet of restraint or restrictions on constructive organization related to business ventures. This would include searching out a new career, entering into a study program or beginning a new business. It is often best to wait for the retrograde motion to have completed its course before taking action. Locate which house Saturn is transiting through in your birth chart as this will provide you with more information. Also check to see which house natal Saturn is occupying. These houses will be areas of life affected by the retrograde motion of Saturn. When Saturn is direct in its motion, these areas will be avenues you can move forward with; however, it is wise to take things slowly as you move forward. If Saturn is poorly aspected in your birth chart, the house where it is situated may require additional hard work and a conscious effort to resolve any issues related to that area of life. Since Saturn often points towards a dominant individual in your life (possibly that restrictive and strict parent), being born with Saturn retrograde has been associated with that authority figure somehow missing in your life. The most authoritarian parent may often be away on business or the parent may actually be missing in your life when you were a young child. Wherever Saturn is found in a chart, whether it is in retrograde motion or direct motion, is often an area of life that requires more work and contains challenging conditions to overcome. It should be pointed out, however, that Saturn is the teacher as well as the disciplinarian in the chart, so it also rewards hard work and diligent efforts. Are you one of those unique individuals that know somehow you are different? Is there something about you that might be categorized by others as eccentric or unusual? If you feel that you do not fit what is perceived as “normal”, you will be happy to know that there are many others who fit this same profile. Before we go into defining what makes you different, perhaps we need to define what is normal in today’s society. What is normal to you? How do you see yourself as different from your definition of normal? Does a normal person believe in only those things that are tangible? Do we have to be able to touch something for it to be real? If the majority of people cannot perceive something specific, does that make it nonexistent? Does a normal person believe that truth lies only in normal day-to-day experiences? Does a normal person believe that they have no hand in life’s unfolding story and that they are at the mercy of life or does a normal personal believe that they have full control over their unfolding story? Is normal living described as livings a down-to-earth, fundamental existence consisting of working, sleeping, eating and relaxing or is normal living something far beyond the realm of the material world? Is it normal to believe there is life on other planets or that there may be alien life forms? Is there such a thing as re-incarnation? So many of us have moved beyond the “logical” teachings of our forefathers--the teachings that have limited our growth and understanding throughout the ages. If we are open to these possibilities or if we adamantly support them, perhaps we are in the ranks of “normal”. We have to ask ourselves, if many people have experienced the same explainable events, how can they not be truth? How many of us have recall of a mystical experience that just cannot be explained by logic as we know it? How can we explain visions and information obtained during the practise of meditation? How can we explain the repeated experiences explained by those who have been pronounced dead and were later revived? So what is normal? If you have questions or notions that there are outside forces at work in life or if you have experienced mysterious experiences in your life, does this make you abnormal or Normal. Can these thoughts and events be termed “super” ”natural”? If you were to read other people’s experiences, you would discover that there are countless individuals that have these exact experiences that you do. Again, what is a normal experience? Why do they call it “super natural”? Is it because it is actually quite natural, an everyday experience? No one can really truly say that their life is normal or abnormal. The only thing we can all agree upon is that our lives go on exactly as they should. It comes down to our own personal perception and our belief structures. What limitations do you put on yourself and life? The next time you try to decipher whether your experiences or your attitudes are normal, reminder yourself that it really does not matter. Do not worry about what others think of your experiences for their opinions truly do not matter. We are all unique. You take the steps along your road of life but know that there are many travellers that take their own steps alongside of you. Vast numbers of these fellow travellers share your concepts, your beliefs and your truths. Are they then normal? Does it matter? What is that old saying..... “The only thing to fear is fear itself.” So many of us struggle with this truth. Understanding the origin of fear will perhaps provide us with a clearer perception of exactly what fear is. Pure unadulterated fear is a primary response for survival. It is a natural reaction to keep us safe. It is not only an emotion response but also a physical response. Fear of true danger is a good things. Today, we are going to look at the imagined fear--the fear that originates from the go. We cannot conquer this imagined fear until we realize why we experience it. Fear has many faces. It can come at us from all directions and in many shapes and forms. Fear can be a passed-down belief in something that prevents us from reaching or seeing the truth. Personal fear stems from the ego and perhaps rises due to our feelings of self worth. Are we good enough to accomplish what we set out to achieve? Are we pure enough? Are we smart enough? Are we capable? Fear is based on our belief structures and our concepts that we perceive as truth, whether we have tested these truths or not. How often do you hold yourself back because a part of you, your ego, tells you that you will not succeed? How often, because of this ego generated fear, do you stop yourself short, because of your expectations of potential failure? Remember that truth lies in the beholder. You are your truth. If you choose to believe that you cannot do something, you have just drawn that line in the sand. A part of you believes that in moving forward there is a potential for failure. What is failure? Failure is simply a lesson for us to learn that our methods or approach require adjustment. Understand that the fear emotion is your ego. It stops you from accomplishing anything and everything. In order to grow and learn, we must see our ego for what it is. Learn to bring its manipulation under control so that you can move forward, accomplish and grow. If you follow the advice of your ego and allow its negative influence to reign, chances are you will never venture out beyond your preconceived notions. "Should have, could have and might have" will be your motto in life. Your beliefs play a very significant role in what actually takes place in your life. This fear is generated by the ego. In challenging any negative belief structures and by not identifying with ego generated concepts, we will open new doors for our future. Transiting Jupiter went into retrograde motion on December 8, 2014, and stayed in retrograde until April, 2015. It moved as far as 22 degrees into the sign of Leo and then was in retrograde as far back as 12 degrees of the same sign. You can use an orb of 3-4 degrees when determining if this had affected any of your planets or important points in your natal chart. As it crossed these placements, the energy of Jupiter was increased. Jupiter has now moved direct once again and its positive expansiveness is now considered to be alive and well. Under normal conditions Jupiter is known as the great benefactor, but it is said that when it moves into retrograde these characteristics seem to fade and its normal opportunistic input is felt on an inner level while on the material side of things, its energies are less effective. It is suggested that if you are in the mind frame of buying property or big luxury items that you wait until it had moved direct again. That time is now. When a planet moves into retrograde, its impact is felt on an inner level. During the past retrograde cycle, you may have benefited greatly if you had focused on inner growth and awareness. Getting in touch with yourself and objectively viewing yourself making alterations along the way would have been very beneficial. Jupiter is the planet of expansion and is connected to spirituality and the philosophies of life that have deep meaning. If you have a look at the house Jupiter is transiting through as well as the house it is located in your natal chart, these will be areas of life that you can do work on and transform in ways that will suit you better now that Jupiter is direct again. A time of introspection was highlighted when retrograde and should have been viewed on a positive note.
