Are you equipped and ready for the next phase of your life?

Some people are in the mist of change and are content with where that change may lead them. There are others that are content with where they are in life but change and transformation are inevitable as it is part of our learning experience.

Are you making changes with your life because what is in place no longer suits your evolutionary state?

Are you being swept away by the swift current of life and moving in a whole new direction which seems to be out of your control?

Nothing stays the same. Change happens for a reason, whatever that reason may be. It is less stressful if we can go with the flow of life’s current rather than paddling against the current. We are not talking about giving up as it is important to keep working towards our goals but when life dictates a certain path, do not resist; adapt and be ready and willing to move forward. — Ready and Willing

Sometimes life seems to dictate and other times we have a hand in what unfolds, but we always have control of our reactions to life and to our reaction to where life is taking us.

Attitude is foremost and when we are forced to make changes, our attitude will dictate our experience with this change. Learn to be flexible. Humanity has come as far as it has because we are capable of adapting.

UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN

As we age, more frequently, many of our relatives and some friends have passed over. Some of us can feel lost without our significant other or parents or child, etc. It can be very hard to climb out of the pit of despair and we can get caught up in what used to be. Perhaps the hardest thing is acceptance of the loss of our hopes, dream and plans involving the loved one that passed from this physical plain.

Relive the memories, celebrate and honour their lives but remember to also live your own life. Find peace in knowing your loved ones have completely their earthly lessons and have moved on to their next stage of existence. I hear a whisper in the wind that says, “Until we meet again, live your life to the fullest. Remember, I am always with you”. — Until We Meet Again

When someone has moved on and no longer shares this physical existence with us, we can ask ourselves what that individual would have us do. Would they want us to be trapped in the past?

Would they really want us to suffer because of their graduation from this earthy existence?

It is perfectly normal to grieve our loss. Grief is a human experience. We each must experience the grieving process to move forward. However, holding on to this darkness and experiencing the pain perpetually is not healthy. We are here to live and to experience. Death is part of this experience.

For those that have a spiritual inclination, we believe that those that have left us are always nearby energetically. We may not be able to see them, (although there are exceptions), but we instinctively know that they are still with us perhaps on another plain of existence. Many of us accept the concept of life after death and believe that we will all meet again, so the pain of separation is only temporary.

Moving beyond grief is essential to living. Those that have passed before us undoubtedly want the best for us while we are still in this earth plain. They would want us to lovingly let go, to appreciate what we had and celebrate our experiences with them, not mourn them.

Relive the memories, celebrate and honour their lives but remember to also live your own life. Find peace in knowing your loved ones have completed their earthly lessons and have moved on to their next stage of existence.

PEACE AND CONTENTMENT

Most everyone wants peace in their lives and not on a temporary basis.

Realistically, how many of us can create this peace on a full-time basis?

We may allow peace and contentment off and on in our lives, but we never have it on a constant basis because we believe peace to be something that is obtained externally. We blame life or others for robbing us of peace.

We are human and we will, some moments, have expectation that will create disappointment or worse. Recognize these moments for what they are. Forgive yourself, accept and choose peace. Keep reminding yourself “Peace” is a choice! Peace and contentment are inside jobs! — Peace and Contentment

Peace is an inside job!

Peace is obtained through attitude.

We must find peace in knowing that life will bring lessons. Accepting these lessons and acknowledging their value will help us to allow peace.

Expecting life to run smoothly is allowing your attitude to rob you of peace.

Expecting to have control over all that happens in your life and to have control over those who live this life with you is again allowing your attitude to rob you of peace.

We are human and we will, some moments, have expectation that will create disappointment or worse. Recognize these moments for what they are. Forgive yourself, accept and choose peace.

Keep reminding yourself “Peace” is a choice! Peace and contentment are inside jobs!
