At times, sitting back and doing nothing just will not do.  We have to stand up and be part of the change that is needed.  Initiate this change. What better action can there be? 

“Should I wait for someone else to start the process?” could be the way our mind operates.  The mind can think up intensions but also come up with reasons why we should not act.  Occasionally, we are so committed to an idea, we overcome the negative ego interference and move forward with our motivating ideas.

It can be hard work and it could be so much easier if someone else starts things. We may even feel we are not up to the task.  We cannot and should not wait for others to initiate. If an idea surfaces and there is potential for positive results, take that first step and begin. 

We can make a difference in our world.  We do not have to be followers, and we are good enough to make a difference.  We are leaders even if we underestimate ourselves.  Give yourself a chance. 

The right idea can snowball once it gets rolling.  0and be spectators.  We are here to live and living is being in motion.  Make things happen.  Kindness, love, and affection can have profound effects if this is the route we take.  If someone is struggling, why not take a shot at helping them move in a different direction, if they are looking for help?  If someone is lonely or afraid, why not be the one that eases their mind or brings the comfort of friendship?

Do not sit back when opportunity knocks. Make a difference.  We do not know what lies ahead until we take that step. Be the forerunner. Be a motivating factor.  Be the light that radiates out into our world and lights the path.

Today, we will focus on aspects affecting our Sun in Cancer readers for the upcoming year.

Because we always look first at the outer planetary connections to the natal chart, in this case to the Sun in Cancer, it will be extremely important to see which houses these planets are transiting through as we align them with the Sun in your natal or birth chart.  The houses describe the areas of life that are affected and play important roles in our identification of potential outcomes.

The outer planets, Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus as we write this article are all in close proximity by degree to one another.  So those with their Sun in the early degrees of Cancer will be under the influence of these three powerful planetary energies. 

Uranus and Pluto both suggest change on some level, while Neptune can bring about a psychic/mystical influence. When in a challenging position, which it is to those with their Sun in the early degrees of Cancer, a degree of uncertainty regarding what might be taking hold in life is possible. 

The Uranus Semi-Sextile aspect is known to be somewhat challenging, but we are usually in the right place at the right time to experience what needs to be experienced.  The orb of influence must be tight with the Semi-Sextile. This astrologer uses a 2° orb of influence. 

Pluto in the sign of Aquarius makes a Quincunx suggesting that a major adjustment is most likely. 

Neptune while in transit is in the sign of Aries as is Saturn although Saturn is in the middle range by degree while Neptune is in the early degree.  They make a Square to those with their Sun in range and will likely bring some confusion (Neptunian energies) and difficulties (Saturnian energies) into the equation.  Make sure you see things as they are not as you might want them to be.  Again, the houses under influence tell the story and the natal potential is now in play.

We also have the beautiful energies of Jupiter and Venus in the sign of Cancer and joining one another by Conjunction around 25°. Jupiter and Venus will bring opportunities, advancements into play as well as growth and expansion perhaps from the lessons being taught and the changes in play.
