STOP AND REFLECT

life, at times, can be so overly busy that we do not stop to evaluate what has taken hold in life.  We just need to stop and take the time to reflect on where life has taken and is taking us.

Stop & Reflect

Regardless of how you choose to reflect, the reflection itself is essential. Be sure to reflect on it all, the tragedies, the mishaps, the choices, the blessing and the magnificence that has been unfolding.

Life continues with or without our consent. We are constantly reorchestrating in order to manage what has been put in place.  Some of life’s lessons can make us feel stranded and uncertain but these are reactions to events. There is always balance however, as some of life’s lessons can bring forth the best “reactions”. One thing is for certain, all will pass and where we have been in life cannot be re-lived.

Each event is not to be owned, only experienced, and then let go. We can take the lesson forward as we venture forward into unknown territory.  The unknown can be frightening or fascinating, much depends on your outlook.  We truly do not know where we are heading although there are often indicators along the way that point in a particular direction.

No matter how life looks today, there are always lessons to be learned and evaluated and then filed under experience in our life’s cabinet.

If life looks favorable currently, look back and see what brought you to this place.  If life looks unfavorable then look back to see why you are learning this lesson.  Know that your focus and choices have created this ongoing lesson that life is providing. 

Your belief structure, to a degree, has opened doors for what is in place. Recognize that the approach you take in your next step will determine what comes next.  Are you opening the door for more of the same or are you closing the door so that nothing else can manifest along the same lines as what is now in place?

Much of life’s internal experience depends on your current outlook but the physical events will likely still happen. There is no escape from our unfolding lessons but we always have a choice of how we step forward. 

Do we react or do we act intentionally?

Pay attention to your thoughts. You are not your thoughts; you are the one listening to them. Choose which ones you want to listen to and which you want to discard.

Life keeps moving forward and we are along for the ride. Make sure you pay attention to its unfolding story with open eyes and open heart.

GO WITH THE FLOW

You know that everything in life is temporary so if you happen to be going through a challenging phase, know that this too will pass. 

If you are experiencing a wonderful period, enjoy it as everything is temporary.  This is not to say that the good times will pass, only that what is perfect in the moment is just that, perfect in the moment.

If you are going through a tough time, learn from the experience.  It has been put in front of you so you can master it and perhaps use the experience and its lessons at a later date.  Perhaps your difficulty will help another individual one day, as now you have experience to share. 

If life seems to be filled with difficulties perhaps your focus needs to change.  Perhaps your focus has been solely on the hard lessons in life, and you know that focus brings more of what you are concentrating on.  Change that focus.  Instead of paying attention to what is challenging in life, look too at what in life is good and fulfilling.  Even in the most difficult of times, there IS a knowledge that adds benefit from our experience.  You might have to look a little deeper and believe that you will find something, particularly when we are in the middle of the lesson.  Attitude is everything!

The more you realign to being open to learning and enjoying (and choose to be happy) the more there is to be thankful for.  You will still encounter difficulties, but you will also begin to see something more positive happening in your life. 

You are not your mind. You are the one listening to the thoughts.  You can choose which ones you want to adhere to and the ones you allow to pass by.

Go with the flow.

The challenging situations in life encourage you to learn and grow. In learning from these situations, you gain strength and inner confidence builds.  In challenging these situations and fighting the lesson at hand, you create stress and dis-ease.

You are your own master, your own creator.  Make your life into what you wish it could be.  You wouldn’t have any idea of what that looks like unless it was already within your grasp.  Reach out and grasp what is available and go with the flow. Live your life with focus, positivity, confidence that you are always moving in the right direction.

NEPTUNE SEXTILE NATAL IC

Transiting Neptune Sextile Natal IC

As transiting Neptune ever so slowly makes its way through the Zodiac, it manifests itself through different channels because of its illusive behavior. Neptune is a mysterious planet and is connected to mysticism, psychic interaction, intuitive perception as well as illusions, cloudiness with perception and the wish to evade all conflict. Neptune can also be associated with acting, musical abilities, dance and in many cases, things associated with the oceans or waterways.

The IC is always opposite the MC exact to the degree and minute.  Therefore, when the IC is in aspect to a transiting planet, we also need to take into consideration what aspect that particular planet will be making to the MC. 

The Sextiles aspect is considered favorable and is associated with easy flow and opportunities, but these opportunities need to be taken advantage of for the energies to fully manifest themselves, if at all. The Sextile requires the receiver to work with the energies.

The IC is associated with the home and family and our heritage. When Neptune makes its positive sextile aspect to this position, the opportunities for changes to take place within the home front will be activated. Perhaps the home goes through changes that are now more in line with what you believe in or you require, such as setting up an area for meditation or changing the furniture so it is more appealing, balanced and/or comfortable. Perhaps you want to make a part of your home like a little retreat where you can go or where others can go to find peace and tranquility. 

On a deeper level, which is usually the way Neptune operates, you may find a deeper connection to family members especially if the seventh or fifth house is connected in some way. You may find that it is as if you know what they are thinking or how they are feeling and would really want to assist in some way, especially if there are challenges taking hold. Mental confusion within the family unit may be part of this picture.

The family connection tends to run deeper during this connection to the IC and those you consider your family of friends might also be included in this energy, especially if the eleventh house is affected in the chart.  Things might also surface from the past or from the family heritage that can be used or filtered through to get a deeper understanding of where you have come from.  There may be something you uncover that is quite beneficial to you and your family at this time.

If there are opportunities that present themselves, be sure to take advantage of the energy at hand. This placement does not occur often.  Of course, much depends on the other aspects making contact in your chart at the same time that Neptune sextiles your natal IC.
