Transiting Uranus Sextile Natal Midheaven

When Transiting Uranus is Sextile your Natal Midheaven (MC), it is also trine to your Natal Imum Coeli (IC).  Both aspects are considered very fortunate. These aspects are what we wait for and unfortunately, they do not come frequently.  When they do, we will need to take advantage of the energies available.  Uranus takes seven years to move through a sign and its cycle back to its original position in the birth chart takes 84 years.

Uranus acts in unpredictable ways.  Its action is often sudden and unexpected, coming out of the blue with little, if any, warning.  It brings with it change that is a requirement for the soul because what has been in place, now no longer suits your evolutionary growth.  Uranus is known as the awakener and moves you to exactly where you need to go.

The MC or Midheaven has to do with our career, our goals and aspirations, our status and the recognition we get for our efforts.  In some cases, our status will change when we marry or when we divorce; Uranus might be involved with these events especially if the 7^th house is also part of the equation.  Look at the Natal position of Uranus and its aspects to get a deeper understanding of what might be taking hold in your life.

Sextiles have similar energy to the Trine aspect but in most cases with a Sextile, we must do the work with the energy to reap the rewards.  Both aspects indicate easy flow and opportunities, but with the Trine things can just flow and move in a fortunate manner with or without our input. 

If you find that change is not taking place in your life especially when the energy is directly on degree, you will need to have a closer look at what else is transpiring in your chart with other transits. Perhaps the aspects in the natal chart suggest something different.  The whole chart must be looked at to get the full picture.

The Trine from Uranus is also in aspect to your IC.  Prepare for a change of direction, a new beginning and a potential advancement with your goals and aspirations as well as your standing in the community and life’s status.  This aspect provides potential for something exciting to unfold as long as you work to help make things happen.

NEPTUNE OPPOSITION NATAL MC

Neptune Opposition Natal MC

When Neptune, through transit, is in Opposition to your MC (Midheaven), it will also be Conjunct your IC (Imum Coeli).  The Conjunction to the IC is more significant than the Opposition to the MC.  When Neptune makes a Conjunction to your IC which has to do with your home, the family and your heritage, the IC also has some affiliations with end-of-life conditions.

Neptune’s behavior is linked to mysticism, the psychic realms and, when afflicted, it can speak of confusion and disorientation. 

When Neptune Conjuncts your IC, there is an emphasis on the home and family, in particular.  If a family member (the IC and MC also relate to your mother and father) particularly the most nurturing parent has been ill for some time and they are nearing the next phase of their soul’s evolution, then, depending on the rest of the chart, this aspect may be suggesting their passing. You would have to check the chart of the parent involved to see how their fourth house is delineated. 

There may be some confusion about this parent, and you may be experiencing vivid dreams, if you are so inclined, about the outcome of the situation.  If this speaks about the home, perhaps things at home and in particular the home front itself is reflective of life’s situations.  Have things become very challenging at home, and do you need to examine what needs to adjusted with the family or with the physical home itself? 

When Transiting Neptune is in Opposition to the MC, there is a need for clarity with life’s journey, particularly related to your occupation or your goals in life.  Is the situation around the home or with the family playing havoc with your career? 

Does one of these aspects of your life seem to need your attention more than the other and if so, what might you need to do to create a balance if that is what is needed?

This can be a challenging position but intuitively you may know what is needed to correct and move forward.  You might have to ask others when it comes to your career options or perhaps others are interfering with what is taking hold with your occupation due to the opposition aspect. 

This issue is quite workable, but it will likely take some time. You will be aware as Neptune approaches its Conjunction with your IC.  Neptune moves very slowly at about 1°/year, so this whole process can easily take up to three year or longer to be resolved, depending on the exact position of your IC. This is as a result of Neptune going into retrograde each year and backtracking over your IC. Neptune will cross this position three times.  Neptune begins to lose its influence when it is about 2° past being direct.

Transiting Neptune opposition natal MC will push for clarity likely with your occupation. The home and family will be involved as Neptune will also conjunct the IC. Find balance between the two.

CANCER FULL MOON 2025

Today, January 13, 2025, we experience a Full Moon at 24° in the sign of Cancer.

A Full Moon in its third decant of Cancer carries with it energies of Scorpio as well as strong energies linked to Cancer qualities.  So, to say the least, this Cancer Full Moon will be emotional in nature although kept secret or behind closed doors.

A reminder that we set our intentions during the New Moon and then harvest or reap our rewards from our efforts under the full moon. 

This Full Moon makes a tight sextile to Uranus which is at 23° Taurus and a distant Trine to Neptune which is at 27° Pisces.

This Cancer Full Moon 2025 is likely to be about family and taking care of others, mothering, and carries with it a degree of sensitivity.  Take time for deep reflection, think of what has taken place and let your intuitive instinct guide you.  Using a gentle approach because of the potential sensitive nature attached to what has been going on is essential.

Your perception is attuned to what has taken place and a part of you knows what the best approach is but try not to be overly protective.  Whomever is involved must learn to take responsibility for their own lives.  You want to mother and there is nothing stopping you from doing just that but too much assistance is not always the best approach.

Your guidance may be somewhat unconventional at this time, but you know that what has been in place now needs to change and move in a new direction.  Things may unfold in unexpected manners and may be considered abrupt and sudden, but after this is over, you will find that you are now moving in the right direction, and others are likely as well.  This is an opportunity and should take advantage of these energies.
