The definition of LOVE is the intense feeling of deep affection for another person or living thing. The transit of Uranus to Saturn can push us to review some of the structures that have been built up over time. This aspect will make you re-evaluate conditions and decide what should be left as is with only minor changes, and what needs to be replaced or even pushed aside. This can be very tough because, as creatures of habit, we like safe and comfortable conditions in life. The Penumbral* Lunar Eclipse will begin at 5:34 p.m. EST today, February 10, 2017, and be at its maximum at 7:43 p.m. EST. The full moon could occur as late as February 11, 2017 in some parts of the world. With an eclipse there is always a full moon. A Full Moon defines the culmination of efforts that we have made towards our focused objectives. We reap the fruits of our labours and collect what is rightfully ours. If we put forth the appropriate effort, we can achieve considerably during this cycle. As mentioned during this Full Snow Moon, there will be a penumbral lunar eclipse. An eclipse will have a lasting effect on us for as many months as the eclipse lasts in hours. So if it lasts 3 ½ hours, its energies will affect us for 3 ½ months. This eclipse will be in the sign of Leo at 22 degrees. Any planets or angles in your birth chart that are close to this degree will also be affected. This eclipse will bring to the surface our leadership abilities and at the same time enhance our caring nature. We will want to nurture others during this time. It can be very difficult when you see anyone going through a difficult if not debilitating experience. We each seem to have these moments. Many of us can easily get caught up in other people’s issues because of our compassion and we end up taking on more than just a roll of assisting. There are some that are so psychically inclined that they allow other people’s issues to become their own, without even knowing it. They can feel depressed and not understand the root of these feelings. If you do not understand why you are feeling what you are feeling, the odds are the emotions are yours but the reason they are there is not. It is important to take inventory of what you are feeling so that you are not carrying around someone else’s baggage. Planets in the chart represent energies which are released through the houses in which the planets are located. The houses represent the areas of life that will be affected by this energy. When major aspects are missing in the birth chart, minor aspects can help to alleviate the missing energies which would otherwise be available if major aspects were in the chart. When there are no sextiles or trines in a chart then quintiles, semi-sextiles and even noviles can help overcome these shortages. When there is a lack of squares or oppositions, the semi-square and in many cases the inconjunct will help to offset this lack of energy. There will, however, have to be several of these minor aspects to compensate for the major aspects that are missing. Those that are lacking in conjunctions (which bring emphasis into the area of life the touch) have a challenging time focusing their energies, particularly when they are working on a project. They have a tendency to become scattered and need a goal or purpose to focus their attention on. Follow through is very important and this can be a challenge as they may lose interest or be swayed in another direction before completing the task at hand. In this post we are not focusing on those that struggling with depression. We are focusing on those individuals that truly believe that mankind is heading for destruction, that famine will eventually affect all of mankind, that there is truly no hope for reversing climate change and the list goes on. We are looking at those individuals that truly believe that there is no hope and that they are only being realistic. We so not deny that is seems as though our world is moving in the wrong direction and if we continue on this path the outcomes would not be one of choice. I am suggesting, however, that those caught up in negativity, to please stop for just a moment and ask yourself, “How has this attitude and belief structure actually helped you in your daily life?” How has this attitude been beneficial this far in life? To what end does it serve? Negativity breeds negativity and when we defend our stance on what is consider reality, this negative potential is a seed that germinates in our minds. Our expectations in life, which mold our reality whether we believe this or not, become our focus. Those of us with the conscious belief that thoughts slowly manifest our reality will intentionally alter our thought patterns when we are confronted with negativity even if it appears to be accurate. Through this process of thinking and focus, we draw more positive energy into our lives. When spending time thinking about something we hate, we will be faced with this energy repeated....on TV, in life events, etc. We focus and then we are bombarded with whatever concept we are focused on which in turn affects our emotional response. There have been studies on individuals dealing with cancer and there are reports that attitude plays a major part in healing process and in any hope to overcome this disease.
