EVENT PLANNING

As our readers know, we always run deep, so when we refer to “event planning” we are not talking about planning a party or social gathering. You likely didn’t expect that anyway. We are referring to reflecting on life to this point and planning or implementing and maneuvering our way forward. The future will be event oriented; we can always count on that.

Reviewing your life’s road map so far, may provide an inclination as to where life might lead you next. Perhaps it has been about raising a family and building a future that will incorporate what is needed for times ahead. This may include financial planning, organizing your environment or working towards building a name for yourself in the corporate world, or it may be simply building on what is already in place.

Material living is important as we do live in a material world, even though you may feel that spiritual life is much more relevant than material sustenance. Spirituality is important but it is important that although our vision may be spiritual, we are also very connected to this worldly life. We are here and for a reason!

We can live day by day and not worry or be concerned about the future. Certainly, all we have is this very moment, in reality. There is still everyday living which does incorporate the concerns connected to survival, health, financial security, etc.

No matter how important the material side of life is, in my opinion, spiritual connectedness is more relevant. Life in many ways looks after itself, but our evolutionary path is enhanced by the way we live our lives. If we are solely focused on material advancement or material “lacks”, this is what our life will be. If we are mindful and appreciative enough to put this focus on a less important priority so that we can work on ourselves first and foremost, then the focus moves in that direction and awareness takes place.

There is no escaping the reality of our material world, but we can purposely participate in the on-going process of self-enlightenment and spiritual evolution. If material wealth was so important, I personally believe we would be able to take that wealth with us when we transition.

No material benefits carries forward so these benefits are transient. What likely will matter as we prepare to pass over is who we are, how we have treated others, the love we have received and given (shared) and how far we have grown with enlightenment and clear understanding.

There is no escaping the reality of our material world, but we can purposely participate in the on-going process of self-enlightenment and spiritual evolution.

NEED OR FOCUS ?

Are you at a place in life where change is a requirement, and you are ready to make these changes?

Change indicators are set in place when life has gone stagnant. You have a new lesson to learn, or you have become complacent with your life situations. Life is now pushing you forward because it is time to move forward.

Sometimes taking the necessary steps can be challenging. Perhaps you are in your comfort zone. You might even be a little uncomfortable because you really don’t know where this change will take you. Due diligence is a prerequisite, as it is never suggested that we jump into something “sight unseen”. Planning, preparation and setting a positive attitude is always necessary; however, overthinking is not beneficial either.

There are turning points in life when life just seems to lead. Sometimes there is little choice to be made, and we need to go with the flow. In many cases because of the uncertainty, we hold on to what is comfortable. We refuse to budge, and fear or anxiety sets in.

If we need to change course and we know it, perhaps now is the time, especially if we have been examining the situation or contemplating a move for an extended period.

Sometimes our focus can push us one way or another. Focus creates emphasis and your concept of what needs to change might not be as drastic as you think.

Transformation on some level is evident even if it is only through focus and intension. Don’t forget your focus and belief structures slowly molds over time and grows when we concentrate on anything.

Sometimes life leads the way and other times we are drawn deep into situations because that is all we think about or focus on. Your prime objective should be to move in the direction you actually need to go. Is it need or focus?

Need or Focus?

CLEANSING OUR SOUL

This title was specifically chosen to draw your attention.

In reality, the soul does not need cleansing. It is the human portion of our being that might be in need of some cleansing. By “cleansing” we mean the need for thoughtful change.

Let’s sit down with ourselves and examine our lives. Are we living in harmony with our long-range plans for spiritual growth?

We are not referring to attending church or living according to religious beliefs (this is not to say you shouldn’t be practicing these. We must do what feels right our core.). What we mean “Are we living according to our own specific principles and to enhance our growth?”

We are connected and aligned with our soul’s purpose; no matter how the picture looks at present. We are meant to go through everyday situations and to experience the moment even through difficult lessons, but if there are undesirable events/situations next to us, we have the option of distancing ourselves if these are separate from us.

On a regular basis, it is important to take an inner evaluation, and with intent, make change where change is needed. When being honest with ourselves, we open the door to growth. We don’t need cleansing, but we may require realignment with our intensions.

We can move in whatever direction we wish, but in all sincerity, is it not best to move in a direction that will suit our evolutionary quest?

One step at a time! The old saying goes “Rome was not built in a day”. Self-understanding is very beneficial. "Cleansing our soul"; why not start now?
