Quite often after a period of what feels like stagnation, we begin to enter a new phase of progress.  Our focus may shift and we step in a new direction.  It’s time for growth!

This may be expected or more often than not, completely unexpected.  We become so wrapped up in the process that we don’t recognize that change and growth are happening.  In most cases, the entry level is subtle, and little seems to shift, but after time, we begin to notice that something seems different, that we are being drawn in a different direction.

In many cases, especially in the beginning, it is internal, but then the internal changes reflect out into our world as well. Life looks different. Our outlook seems brighter, colors more vibrant, the wind and temperature more outstanding.  Although the manner of expression seems to be directed towards outside stimuli, in reality we have already changed within.  Again, all things begin within and then are noticed on the outside.

The Ever-Changing Backdrop of our Lives

The shift does not have to be a total life change (but it can be). Change can manifest itself in small but important relationship changes, occupational transitions, or even changes in our appearance.  Outside manifestation moves in areas that we will recognize and perhaps others will as well, (although at times, only we realize the change that is happening).

Prior, we may have been felt we were ready for change or knew that something had to shift. Alternatively, we may not have had any idea that a shift was coming.  One thing is for certain, the changes taking hold, whether barely recognizable or life changing, are in place for a reason. 

Shifts happen when change is required.  We are ready even if we don’t feel we are.  The ever-changing backdrop of our lives is significant. We will move forward even when we hold back.  Shifting is part of our life’s purpose, and it takes hold when appropriate.

AQUARIUS FULL MOON 2025

The energies of a Full Moon evolve around the completion of a cycle, and this is when we reap the rewards of our efforts for goals set when the New Moon was in the same sign some six months ago previous.  Again with this Full Moon, the sign of influence is Aquarius.  During the energies of a Full Moon is also the time for letting go of any old, outdated expressions or ways of living and moving forward in a new direction.

This Full Moon will affect those with planets in their natal chart that are either Conjunct or in Opposition within a 3° orb to the position of the Full Moon (again 17° Aquarius).  To simplify, we are strictly focusing on the Full Moon itself in this article and not the two kit configurations. 

Aquarius Full Moon 2025

Due to the influence of Aquarius and its ruling planet being Uranus, this can be a time of deep-seated change which, by some, could be considered radical in its expression.  This may come due to a sudden unexpected realization that the way things have been now need revitalized or a new, and different approach.

Not only is this energy personal but because this Full Moon is in the sign of Aquarius (the most humanitarian sign of the Zodiac), it will also influence mankind on some level.  How has your approach to your personal life made a difference in the lives of others? 

What do you now need to leave behind to formulate a plan that fosters change that is so needed in our world? 

Change begins at home and within the framework of your own personal circle and then spreads outward because of the ripple effect.

We are all individuals sharing this existence, but we can work together to create a brighter future for mankind as a whole. This Full Moon’s placement can help move us in that direction.  This energy is of a humanitarian concern and needs to be addressed.

Aquarius brings needed change, often disruptive and unexpected due to its ruler Uranus, but the change that is required is often recognized by us beforehand. We are provided with time to make the required changes and if we don’t address the situation then quite often the change comes at us from all different directions, and the energy of the change may not be as enjoyable because it is forced on us.

With the Aquarius Full Moon 2025, it is important to act and make changes when the requirement is first recognized. Take the initiative so that the change is not forced on you.

URANUS SQUARE NATAL URANUS

Transiting Uranus’ energy impacts us when it makes an aspect to our natal positions. This energy affects our lives for approximately one year and is very powerful when it is direct.  Transiting Uranus when impacting our charts has to do with change and disruption.  However, it does awaken us to new possibilities and new concepts, so it opens the door to realization. 

The Square aspects of Uranus occur at the ages of approximately 21 and 63.

Uranus can cause havoc in our lives and often does so in unexpected and sudden ways.  This is all because a change is required. What has been in place is now outdated and needs revamping.  Quite often, we get little nudges along the way making us aware that something is no longer working, and an adjustment is required.  Sometimes, something brand new is part of the picture, and other times, changes to what is already in place is suffice.

The square aspect is a particularly difficult one.  Perhaps, we just don’t want to make changes because we have become accustomed and comfortable to what is in place even though it does not work any longer. 

The age of 21 is particularly challenging, partly because of our inexperience and partly because at the same time, Saturn is squaring its natal position.  This can be a rough year of lessons. 

At age 63/64, we now have had a lifetime of experience but may also not wish to make changes and may even refuse to do so.  We also have the Nodal Opposition at 63-64.  Also, around 65, Saturn once again Squares itself. These placements can be quite challenging. 

It is important to recognize that although the Square from Transiting Uranus to its natal position is a difficult one, the changes that are initiated by Uranus are meaningful ones. Over time, we come to realize that what took place was a requirement of our inner self because the journey needed to be revamped.  Squares, although difficult, can create such turmoil that we have to do something about the energies in place and the things that are creating these issues.  It is too hard to just sit back and do nothing, so we act.  This is a good thing.

The positioning of Natal Uranus and Transiting Uranus will be the areas of life being affected during the Uranus square Natal Uranus aspect.  Much will also be dependent upon the aspects to Natal Uranus in the birth chart and the rest of the transiting aspects in place during this aspect.

Transiting Uranus Square Natal Uranus is challenging but beneficial as it pushes us to make change where change is needed.
