GIVE AND TAKE IN APPROPRIATE PROPORTIONS

It is important in all relationships (marriage, friendships and even in business) to have a balance of give and take.

With maybe the exception of a business relationship, we need to feel loved not just needed. A relationship is based on balance. When we love, we give unconditionally but over time if we feel we carry the weight of the relationship, conditions begin to materialize.

All relationships take effort and hard work from all parties involved.

As they say, “Rome wasn’t built in a day”.

For many, in the beginning of a relationship, it is pure bliss. As time passes, we begin to show our true self and to see the other party more clearly. It is only then that we can begin to build a solid foundation for the relationship.

Give and take in appropriate proportions, as this is the cornerstone to all relationships. It takes work to build a solid relationship where you feel loved and valued. Oh, but it is so worth the effort!

PATIENCE AND ITS REWARDS

Learning to be patient is by no means an easy task, yet we are often faced with the need for patience daily. They say patience is a virtue and through experience, we must agree that practicing patience leads to less stress. Those that have learned patience know that things move along just as they should and sometimes even though we feel ready for the next step, in reality, we may still have a little more to learn or practice before moving forward.

If the process is not moving as quickly as you would like, do a review of what is important. Practice patience and its rewards will compensate you. You can learn patience the hard way and create stress and anxiety, or you can learn to accept the pace life insists on moving at. Be kind to yourself! — Patience and It's Rewards

We must develop patience to remove stress from our lives. Most things take time, and when impatient, we just create anxiety and worry when these are not necessary.

If it feels as though life is standing still or moving at a snail’s pace, utilize the time to reassess things. We may just find solutions to issues we would not have found if we had moved forward when we were not ready.

There is nothing wrong with being excited to proceed with goals or dreams. Without dreams we place limits.

We will get to where we need to go in good time, and we will also be ready for it when it arrives.

Use the quiet times for mental processing to be ready when opportunities come knocking. Also remember to take time to rest and recharge, too. These are essential.

What is yet to be written?

Some believe the story is already written and we are here to fulfill it by learning specific lessons. What do you think?

The ones we meet and those that join us in our journey are all part of our process. Our experience and attitude form part of the journey. We experience and learn from each step of our journey.

We have choices to make along the way.

It is said that all time exists in the now (the past, the present and the future). The moment is all encompassing, or is it?

There are so many questions that we do not have tangible answers to. Is there proof somewhere?

Some, due to personal experience, are committed completely to their opinions. The full story goes beyond what appears on the surface. It goes beyond the surface story, and none of us truly know all of the facts.

Is there a record such as the Akashic records that holds our full story?

Why are we here?

What motivates us?

Do we move forward on a “journey” or is everything instantaneous?

So many questions!

I believe we are here for a reason, although we might not all agree on that.

I invite you to share your opinions and experiences! Let’s have a deep discussion. No right or wrong! No bullying; no ignorance, just an ear and open mind.
