TWISTED FATE

There is a common belief that things happen for a reason.  We may, however, struggle to understand the why behind the circumstances at times.  We try desperately to find meaning behind experiences and lessons. Situations in life can drastically change our path and our future does not materialize as we thought it would.

Twisted Fate

The why is not always obvious. We may not understand why things happened but that does not mean there is no meaning.  Sometimes, but not always, after the fact, we begin to understand a little more clearly why life went the way it did. 

There are times we just need to role with the punches and accept the new twist in our path and at the same time believe that on some level it will take us to where we eventually need to go. 

Change can be difficult, but the outcome usually puts us in a better place when the upheaval is over. We can become stagnant in life but are comfortable in our stagnation, so we do not work for anything better.  Life then throws us a curve ball to get us moving, something we cannot ignore and from this curve ball comes change that brings us to a much more fulfilling place in life.

What appears to be one of the most dire situations in life can bring about wonderful opportunities or perfect situations we never thought possible, but we may not recognize it as such in the beginning. 

We must accept where life leads us. Certainly, question and review life’s turning points. There is meaning behind every event.  We can choose to adjust, or we can choose to struggle. It is a choice. Focus on your attitude and belief structure. It paves the way on how you will handle life’s lessons. It is our twisted fate.

FULL MOON IN SCORPIO

On April 23, 2024 at 7:48 p.m. EDT, we will experience the energies of a Full Moon in the sign of Scorpio at 4°. 

Scorpio Full Moon

The Moon in Scorpio is in its fall position suggesting, although you will need to look at the natal aspects to your Moon for further ramification, that this is not an easy position for the energies of the Full Moon.  There may be some struggles attached to this energy. The energies will only be strong for those who have a planet or an angle either in conjunction to this position or in opposition to this position. 

Full Moon in the sign of Scorpio may indicate something of a challenging situation connected to sex, anger, disputes, ego interchange and a need to go deep within to find a resolution to a situation which likely began some six months ago when we had a New Moon in the sign of Scorpio.  This energy, which many experience shortly prior to the exact Full Moon timing, can be tumultuous and indicate a culmination of what has been in place.  Again, it is time to reap the harvest of what took place some six months ago.

Changes are likely in store. This positioning is square to Transiting Pluto, so it speaks of something ending in order for something new to begin.  In many cases, people tend to swim upstream and fight the current of change which creates more disruption to what was in place. Once this change has taken place, down the road, we will realize we are right where we need to be.

In many cases, there are no halfway measures with Pluto’s energies, and substantial transformation is at hand.  This may take some time to take in but again, it is taking you to where you need to go.  Some of the steps along the way may not be overly pleasant but what was in place no longer suits your new place in life.

With this Full Moon in Scorpio, it this is a time for integration, a time for regeneration, a time of transformation.  You are ready to advance to the next stage of life even though you may not believe this currently.  You should make adjustments, take control of the situation, be patient, learn the lessons that have unfolded, stand tall and never give up. Be sure to move ahead with confidence knowing that at times life dictates and we follow because of our own best interests.  Processing events will be important but do not dwell on the negative as it only brings you to an unpleasant place. Learn from the process and release.

STOP AND REFLECT

life, at times, can be so overly busy that we do not stop to evaluate what has taken hold in life.  We just need to stop and take the time to reflect on where life has taken and is taking us.

Stop & Reflect

Regardless of how you choose to reflect, the reflection itself is essential. Be sure to reflect on it all, the tragedies, the mishaps, the choices, the blessing and the magnificence that has been unfolding.

Life continues with or without our consent. We are constantly reorchestrating in order to manage what has been put in place.  Some of life’s lessons can make us feel stranded and uncertain but these are reactions to events. There is always balance however, as some of life’s lessons can bring forth the best “reactions”. One thing is for certain, all will pass and where we have been in life cannot be re-lived.

Each event is not to be owned, only experienced, and then let go. We can take the lesson forward as we venture forward into unknown territory.  The unknown can be frightening or fascinating, much depends on your outlook.  We truly do not know where we are heading although there are often indicators along the way that point in a particular direction.

No matter how life looks today, there are always lessons to be learned and evaluated and then filed under experience in our life’s cabinet.

If life looks favorable currently, look back and see what brought you to this place.  If life looks unfavorable then look back to see why you are learning this lesson.  Know that your focus and choices have created this ongoing lesson that life is providing. 

Your belief structure, to a degree, has opened doors for what is in place. Recognize that the approach you take in your next step will determine what comes next.  Are you opening the door for more of the same or are you closing the door so that nothing else can manifest along the same lines as what is now in place?

Much of life’s internal experience depends on your current outlook but the physical events will likely still happen. There is no escape from our unfolding lessons but we always have a choice of how we step forward. 

Do we react or do we act intentionally?

Pay attention to your thoughts. You are not your thoughts; you are the one listening to them. Choose which ones you want to listen to and which you want to discard.

Life keeps moving forward and we are along for the ride. Make sure you pay attention to its unfolding story with open eyes and open heart.
