Do we just take the easy road or do we walk the long hard road of life lessons? 

Do we even have a choice? 

Some would say no because our life’s path is not by choice, while others believe that in many ways, we have chosen this path long before we actually incarnated. 

For just one moment, let’s go with the belief that we have come into this life knowing from a deeper perspective the path and lessons that lie ahead.  Although the path is somewhat set in stone, this does not mean that we are at the mercy of these choices that were set prior to our entry into this life. 

Many believe that we can alter the path somewhat by our choices that we make along the road while others believe that the path can never be altered.  There is no way of proving either, so why not address anything that comes our way and adjust when we need to.

We will learn the lessons we are here to learn whether we accept them, fight them or try to ignore them.  The path may vary but the end destiny or life lesson, call it what you will, will not change.

Life will happen, no matter what, and we can only do what we can in the process.  We will experience challenging conditions from time to time, but we will also experience wonderful, breathtaking experiences as well. 

Our attitude towards all of our life events is what matters.  Life will still happen and we must except the lessons required. We can make the ride enjoyable (at the very least less stressful) with an exuberance to learn. We lessen the friction by doing so.

So onward we march with each segment, each lesson in our lives.  We work our way through adversity when it confronts us and maneuver our way forward.  We gain strength from these experiences and learn from our mistakes, if there is such a thing.  Perhaps, it’s all meant to be and there are no mistakes along the way!! 

Our road is unique to us. Have faith in the process and live your life to the fullest.  Even in the darkest moments there is an opportunity to grow and move forward. You are much stronger than you think.  Believe this, know this!  Learn the lessons well and enjoy the ride!

The Ascendant Personality

The Ascendant is our face to the world.  It is how we present ourselves to others especially when we first meet.  It is our outward expression.  Although this is our outer personality, once we become comfortable with others, we often allow our Sun Sign energies to shine through too.  The Sun sign, among other things, is who we are on the inside. 

Our Ascendant personality will help determine what we reveal about our inside personality. 

For example, someone with a Capricorn Sun sign is often soft-spoken, introspective and business oriented, but if they also have a Leo Ascendant and perhaps several planets in the fifth house. which is ruled by Leo, this individual will come across in a much more vibrant manner than what their Capricorn Sun sign might suggest. This example personality will still be business oriented and ambitious, but when they walk into a room, others will notice them and they will not be subdued unless other factors in the chart indicate otherwise.

The Ascendant (Rising Sign) is calculated by the date, time and place of birth. 

It is believed by this Astrologer that over time as we mold into ourselves through life’s experience, and we amalgamate the energies of both our Sun sign and our Ascendant personality.  Of course, the Moon which deals with our emotions, Mercury which has to do with our thinking process and communication techniques along with the rest of the planets, signs and houses in our astrology chart make up who we are, which is why it is so important to have the Natal chart prepared using an accurate birth time and location.

The Sun, Moon and Ascendant clearly and strongly define who a person is and how they represent themselves. 

The Ascendant personality is our initial face to the world. It is the first impression you leave. Again, an accurate birth time is important to establish the Ascendant in Astrology.

The Lunar eclipse on August 28, 2026, (Full Moon) is in the sign of Pisces at 4°. 

The penumbral eclipse begins at 9:24 p.m. EDT on August 27, will reach its peak at 12:12 a.m. EDT on August 28 and the penumbral eclipse ends: 3:02 a.m. EDT.

Lunar eclipses are emotional in nature however when in Pisces, this will be an even more emotionally impacted period.  Those primarily affected by this positioning will either have a planet or point in their Natal Chart within orb of this Lunar Eclipse by Square, Opposition and/or Conjunction. 

Much will depend on which planets are involved and the houses being affected. 

This event often includes a time when something come to a head from an emotional perspective and either an ending is needed or a massive change must take place. 

In the sign of Pisces, the ability for intuitive perception is enhanced. Things may not appear totally clear, and deceit and/or vagueness may be part of the picture.

There is an opposition from transiting Mercury and a Square coming from transiting Uranus.  As a result, you can expect the unexpected and trying to figure out what others might do can be very challenging.  Let them have their say but be certain to explain your take\feelings on things.  The mind may feel foggy, and you may not be getting the full story.  Someone else may seem to dictate and what they communicate may be expected.
