SUN IN AQUARIUS TRANSITS (2024)

Happy solar return to our Aquarius readers.

Let’s look at some of the Sun in Aquarius transits (2024) that may be affecting Aquarians during their next journey around the Sun.

Transits for Aquarius 2024

The biggest and most powerful aspect affecting those with their Sun in the early degrees of Aquarius is the conjunction of Pluto to their Sun.  Depending on where your Sun is in the birth chart, this area of life is now subject to massive change.  What was in place previously is now subject to deep reflection creating inner changes as well as the likelihood of changes and transformations taking hold to the current path in life.

Some inner ego challenges are likely and the need for an honest look at your life will provide the answers to what is unfolding or needs to unfold as time passes.  This will likely be a long-term adjustment where something, from the past from an inner perspective affecting your life’s path, will undergo a needed change. You likely have been aware of this needed change for some time.  In many cases, what goes through such intense change will now changed on a permanent basis.

Conjunctions are powerful energies where planets mold with each other and needed change is brought forth.  Pluto suggests that something needs revamping as it no longer suits your evolutionary quest.  It is almost impossible to ignore. 

In this case, you are best to listen to the inner voice that is beginning to make itself heard. Go with the flow.  A big part of you knows or understands that you should now change paths on some level and move beyond of what no longer serves a viable purpose.  Look for other indicators in your chart with transits and progressions which will provide you with defined information.

Pluto can be quite disruptive, and it is likely that you will encounter some disputes perhaps from others or within yourself.  Ego intervention and potential arguments can be part of the process.  Pluto is a force you must listen to for an easier adjustment.

Jupiter and Uranus moving through Taurus will align closely in the later stages of March, through April and ending into early May.  This alignment will create change for those who have their Sun in Aquarius from around 14° to 26°.  This aspect of these planets will be emphasized as Jupiter tends to expand things but usually in positive terms.  Uranus is known as the awakener and brings forth much needed change as does Pluto (With Pluto the change is usually quite complete while Uranus changes what needs to change and can leave the rest untouched). 

An awakening of sorts takes hold and a move in a new direction is quite possible, especially for those who are going through the Uranus opposition (ages 39 to 43).  These changes might be unexpected or erratic, especially in the eyes of others, but they are needed as things have now become dormant and a new road is in sight.  Uranus always pushes us in directions that, over time, will be suitable for us.  In many cases, we are not sure exactly what that picture looks like now with Uranus and this can be upsetting to say the least.

This should be an interesting period for those with aspects to different areas of their chart affected by these positions.  Look to see how Pluto and the conjunction of Uranus and Jupiter affect your chart even if you are not an Aquarius.

Astrology points the way, but it is up to us if we take the advice and use it to its fullest potential.

SAGITTARIUS FORECAST 2023

Much of what we will discuss in our Sagittarius forecast for 2023 will influence our Sagittarius readers at varying degrees. You will have to check the degrees of influence in your natal chart along with the degrees of the transiting planets to get a clear picture of whether these positions will influence your chart and when they will highlight the areas of life suggested in your chart. We will only look at the outer planetary positions because their influence is long lasting; the inner planets move quickly and have only a slighter influence compared to the outer planets.

Sagittarius Forecast 2023

TRANSITING PLUTO IN AQUARIUS SEXTILE SUN IN SAGITTARIUS:

Pluto is all about transformation and regeneration and will highlight individuals in a positive way providing opportunities and advancement with goals, life objectives, career path and changes of a personal nature especially those energies that needs revamping from an internal perspective. Pluto will be in Aquarius for many years and is currently making its final pass in the sign of Capricorn.

Pluto will move very slowly creating many occasions when you will feel its influence. This will create inner reflection, with a need to dive deep within to gain clarity, especially on the parts of yourself that could be deemed dark or undesirable. You will be asked to face the truth and although it may not be overly pleasant, now will be the time not only for reflection but for change either with or without your approval. Pluto’s action is definitive and there are no half measures. Something will end so that something new can begin.

If this timing fits your chart, it can affect not only your life’s path but also enhances your position for advancement in your career or with plans that you have been tossing around for moving ahead.

The sextile is an opportunity aspect and although life can offer up situations that are appropriate for change and transformation to take hold quite often, you will need to set the action in motion. Without a push from you to advance your cause, there is a chance that nothing will take hold. With the sextile aspect, a push from you is often a requirement for advancement.

TRANSITING SATURN IN PISCES SQUARING SUN IN SAGITTARIUS:

Saturn remains in Pisces into early 2026 and during its time spent in this sign, it will be making a square to those with their Sun in the degrees associated with its placement at that time.

Sagittarius is a free roaming sign that loves adventure and exploration. It is mostly adaptable to life’s situations yet wants its freedom. With Saturn making a square to those with their Sun in Sagittarius, there may be feelings of being held back or being slowed down when it comes to the desire to move ahead in life, especially with new adventures. Saturn likes the tried and tested and is not overly interested in moving in new directions. Saturn will likely do its best to stop you from advancing into new areas.

Sagittarius does enjoy free spirit and the wide-open spaces, and Saturn, the teacher and disciplinarian, will want to teach important lessons while Sagittarius finds room to move. These lessons and teachings can be quite valuable when we look back, and over time, will create a solid foundation for the information or experiences taken. It lays the groundwork for further advancement, but you will have to work hard to advance whatever your objectives may be.

PLUTO SQUARE JUPITER

We are focusing on Transiting Pluto square natal Jupiter.

T Pluto moves very slowly through the Zodiac, about 1° per year. Its impact is therefore quite significant as it will be in place for 3-5 years with its major aspect lasting at least one year. The outer planets are important because of their slow movement over positions in the natal chart.

Pluto is about transformation and regeneration and often produces some type of power struggle as changes take place. We might want to fight its energies, but in many cases, it is futile to attempt to control Pluto’s driving force. It is like swimming upstream when we know that sooner or later the current will take us downstream which is actually where we need to go.

Pluto will bring up anything that needs to surface and often makes us deal with parts of ourselves or life conditions that may not be overly pleasant or may be challenging to deal with. As with all the outer planets, especially Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, their energies are in place because we are at a point in time where we are ready for some type of advancement or awakening to take place. Transformations are at hand.

Jupiter is known as the greater benefic and often creates potential for growth, good fortune, advantageous situations and in general good luck and opportunities. In some cases, Jupiter, because of its expansive nature, can bring an end to situations that have been tormenting or in some cases brings an end to suffering. Much will depend on the houses connected to the positions of N Jupiter, T Pluto and the Natal positioning and aspects to Pluto.

The Square aspect is often a sign of struggle and obstacles to be overcome. The aspect creates tension and adversity which must be dealt with. It is a positive tool as, due to the strength of the challenge in place, we often feel we must deal with the challenge in our own appropriate manner. As a result, the square is a push to resolve issues.

E.g. If T Pluto was moving through your second house which involves finances and security measures, Jupiter which would be in say the fifth house, could suggest that there are issues pertaining to your children or perhaps a creative outlet now needs financial support. Because the fifth house also deals with romantic involvement, perhaps there needs to be some financial aid in place or perhaps this needs to be addressed on some level (because of the link with security and finances from second house). The rest of the chart will have to be taken into consideration before a complete conclusion can be reached.

Most likely, some transformation is in place and undoubtedly in a big way that will make you delve beneath the surface and deal with whatever hurdle has surfaced. This is an opportunity to see things as they are and make the necessary changes that need to be made. There is nothing halfway about these energies. They often signal something is coming to an end in order for something new to present itself, something that is needed now in life.
