Transiting Jupiter conjunct natal Saturn offer expansion and growth but Saturn insists that you are realistic with your goals and that you do your due diligence to build a solid foundation.
Transiting Jupiter Conjunct Natal Saturn

Jupiter and Saturn represent completely different energies.

Jupiter has to do with optimism, general good fortune, luck, expansion and growth.  In many cases Jupiter brings good fortune without much dedicated work.

Saturn, on the other hand, has to do with conservatism, restraints, structure and limitations and suggests hard work with a disciplined effort.  Saturn can bring on worry and anxiety due to its energies.

When you mix the two energies together (Conjunctions merge energies), there is quite the push and pull when it comes to moving forward.  Optimism and pessimism join forces. One suggests that things are on the up turn while the other suggests that careful planning and likely delays or shortfalls can occur.  There would be worries that any form of push may not prove to be beneficial or that more work may be needed to reach a viable and resourceful outcome.

The house position will indicate what area of life is affected.  If, for example, you are planning to invest in a home or property and perhaps you are having to put out a lot of savings to see this plan through, the fourth house is likely involved.  In this case, perhaps Jupiter’s plan is to buy something that Saturn would push is much more than what is needed.  The financial outlay may be risky and perhaps you will need to look at something a little more practicable.

In this particular case, check to see if there are natal or transiting aspects coming from either the second house of finances or the eighth house of shared resources that can either assist in this situation or hinder the potential for success.  With natal Jupiter being well aspected in the birth chart, this will help the situation, as would a well aspected natal Saturn, for that matter.  The overall condition and potential in the birth chart should always be applied before making any rash judgements or decisions.

You might still want to move ahead with your plans but make sure that everything is in order before you jump into action.  Take your time, be realistic, do your due diligence and remember this is a long-term investment in this example.  Also, do not let anything stand in the way of your purchase (in our example) if things are in proper, and you are at the right place and time to do so.  Use your judgement and if Mercury is impaired by poor aspect, especially by Neptune, then make sure you are seeing things as they are and not as you might wish them to be.

Transiting Jupiter conjunct natal Saturn offers expansion and growth but Saturn insists that  you are realistic with your goals and that you do your due diligence to build a solid foundation.

Transiting Jupiter conjunct Natal Jupiter is an enlightening period. If you utilize the energies, expansion and easy flow is at hand. This is a fortunate period.
Transiting Jupiter Conjunct Natal Jupiter

This Transit of Jupiter takes place once every twelve years.  This is when it returns to its original natal position and expands on the energies of the other Natal planets that are making aspects to its natal position.  Much will depend on how natal Jupiter is aspected and its natal potential.

It is a consensus that during transiting Jupiter conjunct natal Jupiter it will be an enlightening time in most people’s lives.

Jupiter expands what it touches, brings with it opportunities, easy flow especially where natal aspects are in easy flow (Trines and Sextiles) to its position.  What it will bring under most conditions is an opportunity to blend the energy together creating growth and expansion to what is taking hold in your life.  This is particularly true with those individuals around the age of 60, as these people are subjected to the energies of their second Saturn return.

In some cases, individuals prefer to travel, often long distant travel under this conjunction depending on the age of the recipient and the financial situation.  Good luck may enter the picture and although they may not have thought that this would be a good time in their lives, it just might work out that way.

You may seek out expansive projects or enjoy the wide-open spaces and generally feel fortunate about your life’s conditions even if prior to this time things may not have been optimistic.  Your perspective might change, and you may look at life from a different vantage point.  Life’s philosophy is subject to change and in some cases religious doctrines come into play.  Spirituality is also a possibility, and an awakening of some sort is quite possible especially if Uranus, Pluto or Neptune are involved in the equation.

In some cases, you just feel at ease, and you decide to do very little with the energies available under this aspect, even if you think that you should use these energies to your benefit.  This, of course, is in the hands of each individual.  It is suggested, however, that you push ahead while the getting is good and the energies are available.  Good luck is a byproduct and easy flow and golden opportunities, in some cases, await those that press forward.  Don’t overdo it and expect the unexpected, however.

Again, the general theme of the Natal Chart plays a significant role in this twelve-year cycle of the Jupiter return, as does the house position of Natal Jupiter.  The house position and natal applications will define how these energies might present themselves as well as the areas of life that it may take place.

Wherever you have Natal Jupiter in your birth chart often reflects a part of life that has potential for development and expansion.  Depending on how challenged Jupiter is in your chart by other Natal positions (planets or angles), it often is associated with good luck, easy flow, and opportunities. It is known as “the greater benefic”.  (As a side note, Venus, known as “the lessor benefic” represent placements in our charts where the opportunity for growth and good fortune have possibility and when these two planets are in harmony with one another by aspect, this indicates an even more fortunate condition).

When Transiting Saturn makes a challenging aspect to Jupiter (we are talking about the energies of Jupiter with this transit, not Venus), we will have a difficult time pushing through adversity or challenge because Saturn, among other things, restricts progress when in challenging aspect.

Saturn tends to challenge us, by putting up roadblocks in order to teach lessons and slows the process down considerably (like learning patience is involved).  Saturn is restrictive energy when in challenging aspect and teaches us valuable lessons that perhaps we would choose not to learn if by chance we had a choice.  Saturn is the disciplinarian and the teacher.

Jupiter’s energies, on the other hand, are quite promising and, in many cases, opens the door for us to learn from these experiences, but this does not mean that the lesson will be easy.

Oppositions often involve other people bringing different perspectives to light.  They often interact with us or have some influence on our decision making.  With an opposition between Saturn, which can be quite debilitating, and Jupiter, which can be quite uplifting, we must find a way to integrate these two energies and not become too negative because certain things we might be striving towards do not work out exactly the way we might wish they would.  We now have a chance to see things from different perspectives, and we can find a way to look a little in both directions and not be so focused in one direction or the other.  If we are the negative type, we might believe that things will never work out so why proceed, and if we were of a more positive attitude we might believe that not to worry as things will work out just fine.  We need to find a compromise and work things out in such a way that we are not disappointed but at the same time we do not expecting things to be perfect.

With Saturn Opposition Natal Jupiter, the combination of these two powerhouses provides a chance for personal development and growth through actual experience.

Check the rest of the chart to see what this aspect might mean in your particular case.  Always look at the other transits as well and their meanings in order to find a clear understanding of what potential is available in your ever-expanding life experience.
