One thing is for certain, there will be transformations and regeneration from an emotional perspective with transiting Pluto sextile Natal Moon. This is an opportunity aspect so make sure that you do something with these transformative energies and work with what is in place.
Pluto Sextile Moon

Transiting Pluto will be in the sign of Aquarius for many years yet to come.  Those with their Moon in sextile to Transiting Pluto (Moon in Aries or late Pisces, Moon in Sagittarius or late Scorpio), will be feeling the effects of this positioning for about 2-3 years because of Pluto’s slow movement (about 1° per year).

Pluto’s energies represent change and transformation due to the changes it brings to life.  It speaks of the end of conditions and the beginning of something new.  The end can relate to death of a person or the end of a situation and is often viewed as challenging until it passes which as mentioned can take some time.  Some individuals begin to feel the energies of Pluto as far away as 3-5° prior to being exact which could be up to and including 3-5 years prior to exactitude.

Pluto brings with it evolution and is in place to eliminate things that are no longer suitable for your personal journey in life.  Some things need completion, and this is what Pluto does; it ends things.  There can be disputes and ego collapse. These can be quite intense as time passes and the intensity continues until we begin to adjust to whatever new has taken hold in our lives.  It is best in most cases to go with the flow of change.

The Moon has to do with our family, our need for nurturing and the need to nurture. It is closely linked with our emotional state.  The natal aspects to the Moon play a huge part in our emotional behavior and our reaction from an emotional standpoint.  The house placement of the Moon speaks of the area of life that is under emotional focus while the sign of the Moon is the direct link to our emotional interaction and behavior.  All this will play an important part in the evaluation of Transiting Pluto sextile Natal Moon.

The house Pluto is in during its transit and the natal position of Pluto along with its aspects will help define how Pluto will interact with our Natal Moon.  One thing is for certain, there will be transformations and regeneration from an emotional perspective with Pluto sextile Natal Moon.

The Sextile aspect is one of opportunity.  When Pluto and the Moon form this interaction, our emotional reaction to life is subject to deep introspection and then the likelihood of change is most apparent.  There may be changes within the family unit, with the mother, and is some cases, women in general.  The home environment may go through alterations.  Perhaps we will move or make significant changes to the home we live in.  If we are still living at home with our parents, this can be the time when we move out of our family home and gain independence and a whole new perspective on life.

As mentioned, this is an opportunity aspect and under most conditions a very favourable one. However, if we sit back and do nothing to make things happen, this opportunity may pass us by with little to no effect.  We must push to make things happen although sometimes things just seem to fall into our lap.

Our emotional nature defined by the house and sign position is subject to upheaval and transformation at this time. We can be the ones orchestrating something meaningful into our lives if we choose to do so.  This is a very favourable energy and can translate into action when it comes to our mother as mentioned and women in general. Perhaps, we are the ones who help initiate the change that is required.  Perhaps we can help when help is what is needed.  This may be an emotional experience, but over time, it should work out favourably for those involved.

Let’s use the example of the natal Moon is in the seventh house and in the sign of Aries. With this scenario, in most cases, we are the ones who arrange what unfolds within the core of our relationship with our spouse.  We like to have control and we do what needs to be done because this is what we want. We believe that we know best.  This can also be reflected in important relationships, and if, for example, the transit of Pluto were in the fifth house then this might relate to our children or a love affair. Perhaps our creative potential is now part of an ongoing process involving a business relationship.

There are many scenarios, and much will be defined by the houses involved as mentioned. Be sure to look at the natal potential when deciding what this might mean for you or for the person that you may be working with.  This is an opportunity aspect so make sure that something is done with these transformative energies and work with what is in place.

Neptune is the planet of illumination, inspiration, intuition and psychic access.  It has also been tied to ambiguity, confusion, dismay, vulnerability and not seeing things as they truly are.  Neptune is the planet of psychic awareness even under the most distressful aspects and can be illuminated but twisted when in challenging situations.  Neptune is spiritual, can be religious, and will enhance your perception and any psychic inclinations you may have.

As it makes contacts with planetary energies within the framework of your natal chart, it will illuminate the energies of the planet and merge its emeries with the planet in question, especially when a conjunction is taking hold.  In some cases, Neptune will help solve issues that have been plaguing the individual especially when aligned in positive aspect to Mercury or Jupiter.

In contrast, if Neptune is making a hard aspect like a square or opposition to Mercury, you will want to make sure that you are not blowing things out of proportion, and you should ensure that you are seeing things as they truly are.  Help from outside sources is often suggested especially if your Natal Mercury is under stressful aspects to other planets particularly to Neptune in the birth chart.

As Neptune moves into Aries next year (2025) perhaps this might be a time when we move ahead with our own objectives in a more intuitive and spiritual quest and change the course of our own personal lives slowly as its energies unfold.
Neptune Transits Through the Zodiac

Transiting Neptune to the Sun or your North Node can bring forward goals and your life’s path can be highly attuned to deeper insight, and assistance may surface from outside sources that you may not have deemed likely in your life.  You may have visions or dreams that can open doors that have been closed or not even apparent for many years.  Neptune can instigate psychic energies that are straight from the light and into your consciousness for the first time in your life or open channels greater than those available before this time.

As Neptune moves into Aries next year (2025) perhaps this might be a time when we move ahead with our own objectives in a more intuitive and spiritual quest and change the course of our own personal lives slowly as its energies unfold.

Neptune also has to do with talent as it rules Pisces and the twelfth house.  Music, acting, art, etc. can become highlighted as Neptune opens pathways that have been closed prior to now.  Neptune can be magical in its delivery when well aspected to natal positions. It may bring energies you never believed could take hold in life.

Neptune in Aries sounds personal and that is just what it is.  In the past 14-15 years, Neptune was in Pisces and what we were taught during this stay in Pisces can be used in personal terms.  This can be a time of awakening to your higher self, stimulating your intuitive faculties and bringing to life what you never deemed possible.

Use Neptune’s energies to the best of your abilities and uncover the mysteries of life.

Here is our Cancer mini forecast for 2024. Read our post for Sun in Cancer here.

We will have a look at the Sun in the sign of Cancer and the effects that Neptune and Saturn might have on those affected by these placements during 2024. Saturn and Neptune carry very different energies. Saturn has to do with focus on reality & is practical, responsible & buildings structure. Neptune has to do with the spiritual realm, artistic abilities & those things that are deemed supernatural.
Cancer Mini Forecast for 2024

We will have a look at the Sun in the sign of Cancer and the effects that Neptune and Saturn might have on those affected by these placements.  Allowing an orb of up to 7° (and there will be individuals feeling the effects of this energy before this orb), we see that Transiting Saturn will move into retrograde on the June 28 and Transiting Neptune, already in its retrograde cycle, will move back into the sign of Capricorn early in September, 2024.

Transiting Saturn will be moving from 19° down to 12° in Pisces and stay within this range until early 2025.  Neptune is in the final degrees of Pisces moving into Aries at the end of March 2025.  By reviewing these degrees, you can see if your Sun will make a trine to these planets.

Saturn and Neptune carry very different energies.  Saturn has to do with focus on reality, with our feet firmly planted on the ground. It is practical and has to do with responsibility and the building of structure.

Neptune, on the other hand, has to do with the spiritual realm, artistic abilities and those things that are deemed supernatural.  It also has to do with the escape of reality, illusions and vagueness.

The trine of Cancer Sun with Neptune can create a magical energy of spiritualization and the door opening to the psychic realm.  The creative potential can also be heightened, and Sun in Cancer may be able to visualize possibilities that to others may seem rather illusive.  Sun in Cancer’s goals may be tied to understanding what it is to be attuned to other dimensions of reality and the unseen.  It will be up to Cancerian to follow a train of thought that promotes such activity.

On the other hand, Neptune and the Sun can make Sun in Cancer’s vision of the future and its life’s plans rather misleading or unrealized.  They might have trouble finding their way forward in life and may not be sure which road to take. Cancerians may be concerned that mistakes will be made along the way.

Saturn, while in its retrograde cycle, works much more favorably than it does when direct.  This may be a time of stabilization and concrete results based on what Sun in Cancer individuals have in mind and where they want to go.  Their goals, although challenged, may be workable and they can reach higher than expected.  Cancerians may experience a stabilization period where they are in touch with what they want for themselves and achieve what they set out to achieve.

With Saturn, this period can produce rewards for hard work and disciplined efforts, although Cancerians may find that they have more responsibility than they might want. This may result due to the Cancerian’s superiors being attuned to what the Cancerian has been putting in place over the long haul.

Much will depend on how these planets are aspected in the natal chart alone with the aspects they make to the Cancer Sun. In general, the trine is a positive aspect and will promote easy flow and favourable conditions as time passes.

Happy solar return to our Sun in Cancer readers.  Utilize the energies available.
