SIGNIFICANT RELATIONSHIPS

We meet many different individuals over the years.  Some individuals end up forming important relationships with us, others come and go.  Important relationships can last for years; some even a lifetime.  These relationships can be with marriage partners, parents, children, friends, co-workers, etc. 

For those open to reincarnation, it is believed that these important individuals have been with us previously.  Some with clear insight can recall prior relationships or at the very least get glimpses of them.

Some relationships aren’t always easy to maintain.  It has been said that “nothing worthwhile comes easily”.

Significant Relationships

For any relationship, we must persevere at times and learn the art of bending when we need to and conceding when appropriate.  Arguing about who is right often serves no purpose and is initiated by ego.

With individuals in some relationships we have many similar interests and yet other relationships we can be quite different from one another but nonetheless the relationship carries on. 

Materials rewards seldom hold a relationship together, even though security is important. The bond must be much more than that.

If we have been together previously, it is likely a blessing that we have come together again.  We frequently learn the most valuable life lessons from those we become close with.  Love and affection are deep and, in some cases, they can be buried. From a deeper perspective, we come together to assist in our combined journey.  We grow together and help each other along.

Forgiveness is a huge part of lasting significant relationships as there are times when we can feel mistreated. Communication is key and so is compassion and forgiveness (a short memory for past events is also helpful). We are all human and prone to make mistakes.

Wrap your heart around significant relationships. Some may not be easy ones, but most are worth the effort.  The more challenging relationships are the ones that we learn the most from although those that are loving and affectionate also teach us lessons too. 

Life is a mystery. Be grateful for your experiences and appreciate those that share your life with you.

FOSTERING IN THE NEW

Change is inevitable. 

Fostering in the New (Look Forward)

Life never remains the same.  There might be similarities over a period of time, but you can be sure that something will come along and change or shake the very foundation of life.  This should not be viewed as difficult. Change is essential for growth and a forward movement in life. A new direction on some level is at hand and will open the door when the door needs to open, but never before, no matter how things may appear.

Sometimes we fear or try to reject change as the current situation is comfortable. We are comfortable and circumstances are familiar. Nonetheless, change will happen, with or without our consent.  When we resist, we create anxiety and fear. If we readily adapt, the transition is much more enjoyable.

As we transition, we begin anew into something more relevant or more in line with where we should be. As mentioned, some may struggle with this newness, and we may not be comfortable with what is unfolding.  We fight the process or fearfully hang on to what is. If we reconsider, we realize on some level this change is not only a requirement but actually a necessity. All change begins within.

Resist or not, we will venture forth because this is part of our life’s journey.  We have come into this life to experience and grow, with or without our consent. Take life by the horns and move forward without expectations fostering in the new. It is useless to worry about potentials or maybes. 

Be open and see where life takes you. Open your arms with anticipation. Look forward.

RELINQUISH FEAR

Comfort and contentment do not rest in material abundance. They reside within. They are a state of being, an attitude shall we say.  

Relinquish Fear

We limit ourselves with preconceived notions and beliefs of what we “think” are possible for us. 

Anything we require always lies within, yet we look outside of ourselves for comfort through circumstances or other people, not realizing that these are only obtainable through our attitude. 

Looking outside only provides us with a mirror reflection of what lives within. What you see in your outside world is a direct signal of where your mind has taken you in life.  If you don’t like what you see, change your focus or what you concentrate on. Look for what you want for yourself, not what you want to avoid.

Expectations over time materialize because of our concentrated focus. If we concentrate on fear, we create more fear. If we concentrate on contentment, we create more contentment.

Relinquish fear; release it! Allow your dreams to bloom into reality by focusing on those dreams actually being.
