Neptune Square Mc

When Transiting Neptune squaring our Natal Midheaven, this will be a time when we are very unclear about life’s direction.  This can relate to our choice of career, as we may be questioning if the choices we have made continue to be appropriate.  This of course depends on our age. If we are younger and perhaps finishing off school or entering College or University, we might be questioning or unclear about whether we have chosen the correct career choice. 

We may feel dismayed and upset not knowing which way to turn. This can manifest as a feeling of being lost, at least for the time being.  The reason we say “for the time being’ is Transiting Neptune will eventually move out of orb and no longer present us with these energies.  During its contact, however, it can be quite stressful as we are worried about making the wrong decision, no matter what our age.

Since the MC or Midheaven is also about our goals and aspirations, these focuses might also be in reflux at this time. The goals we might have had before this time may now be questioned. Are my goals in line with what I now wish to accomplish?

Our status may also be in a state of flux. Perhaps we have just lost our job due to unforeseen circumstances. Perhaps we made a rash decision to quit and have now moved onto something different and we are wondering if we made a mistake. 

This position of Neptune to our MC cannot be considered pleasant. The square aspect is always difficult and presents obstacles to overcome. The pace of this focus seems to be slowed down or seems not to move in the direction that we might want it to. We may wish that we could do a rewind or at the very least have a second chance to make things right or better.

This is the beauty of Squares. They are put in place so we can learn valuable lessons and the square energies irritate us enough that we are put in a position where we must do something about the situation (They force action).  Perhaps we just need to accept what is taking place or perhaps we can make changes.  Either way, the energies are such that we feel the need and often have the ingrained attitude that something can and must be done.

We always have a choice, however, whether we decide to do something about what is transpiring or not.  If a change in attitude is the only option, then this is a choice as well.  Everything depends on your next move.

LESSONS OF EXISTENCE

We can’t emphasize enough how important attitude is when it comes to our daily living.  It is the key to happiness; it is not the events, but your attitude towards them.  You will most certainly have your ups and downs no matter how much you concentrate on the good in life.  You will still encounter life’s challenges from time to time, but it is important to pay attention to the good that is around you.  You do reap what you sow, but you also gain momentum when it comes to your focus.

Each stage of our lives contains unique lessons, and we will learn the lessons of existence! 

Lessons of Existence

As a child, we understand this.  We get upset, we get distracted, we move on. There is so much to learn and experience.

As we mature, we learn from life’s experience, and gain more insight and knowledge on how best to move ahead regardless of the difficulty of the lessons (as we are not so easily sidetracked at this age).  You hopefully gain understanding of life’s intricacies and learn better how to deal with adversity.  But it takes time, and we must be patient, particularly with ourselves, as we struggle through adolescence.

When we reach adulthood and later begin to enter our golden years, we now should have a wealth of knowledge and experience behind us. We can reach out to others to share the knowledge we have gained through our experience.  We can teach our children and others, or we can keep our gained knowledge within and use what we have been taught for ourselves.  In most cases, we incorporate a little of both. We will however slip up even with out own lessons and that is where we learn the important lesson of forgiveness, of self and of others.

On your death bed, we can review our life, how it was lived and reflect on the lessons learned.  At this point, we are ready to move into our next stage of existence. We let go of this material world as we have passed all our required earthly lessons and move on.

What comes next, we each have our own ideas, but we will find out for certain eventually. It is the natural progression of the lessons of existence.

When Transiting Neptune makes a Trine to our Natal Midheaven, it often opens the door to our visionary goals and aspirations. The mystic is often part of the process, that is for those so inclined.  Those individuals that have musical or creative potential will find that these abilities are now enhanced.

The MC or Midheaven has to do with our career as well as our goals and ambitions. When Transiting Neptune comes into contact by Trine aspect to our MC our dreams just might come true. Sometimes these things just fall into our lap. Other times, it takes a push from us to make things happen. Under the energies of this aspect, the potential is often in place for you to advance on some level.

Your status in life may blossom due to objectives that are now available (which prior to this time were just a dream).  Perhaps recognition for your creative abilities will materialize and those in authorities may now recognize your contributions. For those that have musical or acting abilities, the time that you are under the influence of this aspect may be the time to advance your cause. Again, this is the time to obtain recognition. You will have to take into consideration the natal aspects to the MC as well as any transits in place to get the full story, however.

There is something magical about what is unfolding but make sure you are seeing things as they truly are and that it is not just wishful thinking. Neptune, in a challenging position in the birth chart, can make things a little uncertain or obtuse. Ask your superiors what they think about your goals. You likely can get some good advice from clearheaded individuals not being influenced by this aspect. Advance with some caution if your birth chart and the ongoing transits make that suggestion.  Clarity can be an issue.

If you happen to have a Grand Water Trine attached to this position or at a later date when Neptune moves into Aries (when writing this information) creating a Grand Fire Trine, you can spring into action with the Fire Trine or find intuitive inspiration with the Water Trine.  This is a time where the energies flow easily and you can take advantage of what is in place for you.
