SUN IN SCORPIO 2025

The Sun moves from the Cardinal, Air sign of Libra into the Fixed, Water sign of Scorpio on September 22, 2025. 

The Sun has a 16° orb of influence; therefore, those born on the cusp of Scorpio will also have some Libra or Sagittarius characteristics depending on which cusp is influenced.

As far as decants are concerned, those born in the first 9° 59’ of Scorpio have a double Scorpio personality, those born between 10° to 19° 59’ have Scorpio with some Pisces tendencies, and those born between 20° and 29° 59’ of Scorpio will also have Cancer tendencies but for all of these decants, the Scorpio traits are always the strongest.

Scorpio individuals are strong-minded and are hard to sway once their mind is made up.  They are intense, deep and emotional although their emotions are usually buried deep within.  They do not like to reveal their sensitive nature, and most Scorpio have parts of themselves that they like to keep private. 

Under most conditions, a typical Sun in Scorpio is reserved, somewhat quiet in nature but when they speak, others listen.  They are ruled by the planet Pluto, co-ruled by Mars, and this is primarily what makes them so intense and deep.  Because of Pluto’s influence, they are subject to overall change taking hold at some point in their lives, going through deep examination within and making decisions based on what comes to the surface.  They can review the darker sides of themselves with great clarity and make changes because of these revelations.

Many Scorpio are interested in the deeper realms of life, which were once considered taboo.  The occult and hidden matters hold great importance to the typical Scorpio, and they will often venture into these realms with extreme interest.  They are fond of analyzing and will bring hidden matters to the surface and face them head on.

Scorpio has been known to be quite sensitive and sensual in nature. The undeveloped Scorpio type, however, seeks out sexual encounters simply for their own pleasure and without emotional attachment.  They can have several partners at the same time, but under most conditions once they decide on permanency with one individual, they can be faithful and sincere.  It is important for our Scorpio readers to watch that they are not swept away simply by desire. 

Scorpio individuals make great investigators, and can be in undercover work, digging deep for answers.  They love to solve crimes or to search for the truth. These individuals can be counted on to keep a secret when required.  Surgeons, dentists, and vocations involving dying or death interests them.  Life and death matters intrigue many born under this Sun Sign.

Most Scorpio’s are highly driven, motivated to seek out matters that most would not have the patience to carry out.  This is not to say that they are the patient type, but they will persevere when necessary and make moves once they know the information they hold is accurate and they are ready. 

Emotions run deep for Scorpio, but you will not see this in them. They will not forget if slighted, particularly the unevolved Scorpion type Scorpio. The Eagle Scorpio rises from adversity and navigates life through intuition and insight.

Uranus Opposition Natal MC

When Uranus makes an Opposition to your MC (Midheaven) it also Conjuncts your IC (Imum Coeli).  The Conjunction to the IC being the more powerful aspect of the two suggests that changes are in place when it come to the home and family.  The home itself may be going through changes, perhaps there are redecorating plans underway, renovations or you may be in the middle of moving to a new location.

Because you might be moving perhaps you are downsizing as children have moved on or you are trying to accommodate a senior member of the family. If the fifth house is also being activated perhaps one of your children is entering college or university.  Perhaps your parents have been living with you and now because of safety or health issues you may be placing them in assisted living. The list of possibilities will be indicated by all influences to this aspect.

This aspect may also be affecting your job.  Perhaps because you are moving into a new area, you may have changed jobs perhaps you have now moved closer to your job.  Oppositions usually involve other people so perhaps your spouse must make these changes and this is affecting your career. 

Changes are in place in the workplace, and your job is being directly affected. You may have been laid off or received notice that the business is restructuring and management is considering what the next steps will be.  This can be troubling because you know change is about to happen, but you are not sure where this will leave you. 

Uranus works in weird ways and sometimes things just happen out of the blue; perhaps you have no idea that changes are coming.  It should be noted that Uranus, although quite unpredictable, brings changes that need to happen, and over time, you will see that what is taking place was beneficial in the long run.  Much depends on how you adapt to these changes. 

With Uranus opposition natal MC, change is in store, but you may not know where these changes will take you.  They may be sudden but in the long run, beneficial. Allow Uranus to do what is needed.

PLUTO SQUARE NATAL NODES

Pluto Square Natal Nodes

Pluto square the natal Nodes (north and/or south nodes) suggests that there are power struggles when it comes to moving in the direction of choice.  There is the possibility that you are now entering a new path in life although it will be linked to what the North Node’s energies suggests which is defined by its sign and house position.  This new route may not be a comfortable one, but over time, you will realize that it is the correct path (again linked to the North Nodes sign and house position in your Natal chart). 

The path of the North Node can be challenging as, again, it is unfamiliar.  The North Node is your destiny so it is best to go with the flow rather than fight against the current of change.  Leave behind what no longer serves a viable purpose and move forward with an understanding that you will be moving in the direction required during this life.

In some cases, however, the path being currently taken is not your destined path. Other individuals may be influencing your decisions. You must make certain that the choices you are making are not because someone else suggested that that this would be the best route to take for you.  Square aspects indicate obstacles to overcome and challenges to be met.

Because the Nodes are always exactly opposite one another, Pluto Square the North Node will also be Square the South Node. This will create a T-Square.  Wherever Transiting Pluto is in your Natal Chart, the energies represented by the opposing house will be an area of life that requires your focus.  The T-Square is similar to a chair missing its fourth leg.  It is out of balance and requires your attention where the fourth leg should be located so that you can create the balance needed.

Pluto is a dynamic planet, and while in transit, Pluto can cause a corrosive interaction if you have a Natal Planet or Angle within a three-degree range Conjunct the position of Transiting Pluto.  If you have a planet or angle at the opposing position of Transiting Pluto, you will now have a Grand Square forming between the Transiting Nodes, Transiting Pluto and your positioning interchange at the Opposition to Pluto.  This aspect can be very challenging. (To use current time locations, because transiting Pluto is now in Aquarius, for this Grand Square to become activated and powerful, the Nodes would also be in Fixed signs creating a Grand Fixed Square.  If they are out of modality then the Square is not as powerful.)

Grand Fixed Squares suggests that there are several areas of life creating challenges currently, and this can last up to three years before the energy completely subsides.  The T-Square as well as the Grand Square are troubling connections and require interaction with those involved in order to find resolution.  The fact that there are Squares involved suggests that although the energies in place are very difficult at times, especially when direct, the square forces you into action to find solutions to the challenging situations at hand.  As far as considering the difficulty of this aspect, the rest of the chart along with the current transits from other planets to the natal chart would have to be delineated.

With Pluto Square the Nodes, a new direction in life is about to become reality.  It may be very difficult to move forward but, in most cases, someone will assist you with this.  Outside influences are quite common when the nodes are involved.  Someone may come into your life temporarily forcing you to find a new path and then leave without much notice, but they were the reason you moved in the required direction.
