URANUS SEXTILE NATAL MARS

It is well known in Astrology that Uranus and Mars do not work well together.  Both planets can indicate sudden and erratic, aggressive actions based on the desire to create change or the need to take action because, in many cases, something is standing in our way forward. 

Uranus Sextile Natal Mars

The energy of Uranus and Mars together can present itself as an accident especially when working with sharp tools, equipment or faced with little to no alternatives.

When speaking of Natal Mars, the planet that is being stimulated by transiting Uranus, the houses involved will be very significant in determining what areas of life are being affected. Although aggressive action is often part of the profile, there will be lessons learned from this experience and in some cases the actions taken will move you in the direction that you need to go.  You can become awakened to the area of life that needs change, and, over time, understand why you did what you did or alternative, why situations became apparent and that these conditions are what made you do what you either had to do or will do.

Uranus always takes you where you need to go usually because the current conditions in life no longer suit your evolutionary growth or path in life.  Uranus awakens you to new horizons, pushes you to change direction or move in a new direction and stimulates action. 

Mars pushes us into action and often in abrupt manners or without thought or due diligence. This rush ahead can cause misfortunes as we did not take the necessary time to weigh out our options before jumping.

In most cases, the sextile aspect (60° of separation between planets or between planets and angles in the chart) is considered a positive aspect bringing forth opportunities and with a personal push, we can gain on some level.  Most sextiles require us to act to reap rewards but, in this case, not on impulse.  Without our interaction, in most cases, nothing will materialize.

There likely will be much learned from our experience and if this aspect is approaching, being aware of the destructive or impending potential that can exist without proper preparation is important.  In some cases, a time for preparation is not taken because it happens so suddenly without warning.  However, if you do have time to prepare and digest what is in front of you, be careful. Do not operate a vehicle when angry, avoid confrontation, and don’t make hasty decisions.

Uranus sextile natal Mars has great potential if you do your due diligence and use caution. Remember, however, you must act to utilize the energy available.

URANUS OPPOSITION NATAL SATURN

Uranus Opposition Natal Saturn

This article is a good general read for Uranus opposition Natal Saturn. However, to go a little more specific for our current signs affecting Uranus and Saturn, Uranus will remain in the sign of Taurus until July, 2025. As a result, currently Uranus Opposition will specifically affect those who have Saturn in Scorpio in the later degrees to make the opposition.  Saturn was transiting through Scorpio from 1953 to 1956, 1982 to 1985, and 2012 to 2015.  It went into retrograde during these time frames so you will have to check your ephemeris or chart to see if this post applies to you.  Uranus can be felt 5-7° approaching and up to 2° separating but will be the strongest when it is direct (at the exact degree).

Those individuals that have Saturn in Scorpio in their astrology birth chart will be deep and reflective, may have some challenges when it comes to revealing the significance of the psychic realm especially in personal terms, and will likely have to work hard to uncover and deal with any taboo subjects that they may identify with, especially from an internal perspective.

Now to more general information for Uranus opposition Natal Saturn, Uranus brings about change and can work in disruptive manners, sudden and often unexpectedly, but it offers an understanding of what frequently stands in the way of moving in a new direction.  In this particular case, with Uranus being in Opposition to our Natal Saturn, the need for change may be stimulated from outside of oneself.  Others may be the reason behind the need for change and there may be some disruptive forces that seem to prevail likely to force change on us.

Much will depend on the astrological houses involved.  For example, if your Natal Saturn is in the second house, security and finances are something that you need to work on and in this case, it could be Uranus (which would be in the eighth house) bringing change because someone that you depended on has deceased or left your life. Now you may be seeking alimony, must look deeply into shared resources or could be part of a settlement through inheritance where perhaps family members are causing disruption.

If Saturn is in the fourth house, then the home and family may be affected. Perhaps your early upbringing was difficult and the family that you grew up with (which may have been strict or restrictive in some way) now is seeing changes due to status, your life’s path, your career being adjusted, or your goals and aspirations now going through some changes.  This can apply to the home and family you have created as well. Much will depend on your age. 

If you are in your late 60’s, this may relate to your parents. If you are in your 40’s, this may involve your current home and there being some challenges because of changes taking place at work. If we are speaking of a young person roughly 10 to 13 years old, this may mean that your family is moving and those that you are comfortable with, especially your friends, are now going to be out of reach or further away than you might wish them to be. 

With Uranus opposition natal Saturn, change is often part of the current process. Because you are comfortable with the way things are at this point, does not mean that change is not required on some level.  Accepting what now flows your way is the best approach.  If you resist, the change may be much more challenging and disruptive.

FULL MOON IN LEO 2025

Full Moon in Leo 2025

On February 12, 2025, we will be experiencing a Full Moon, (which is the culmination point of events started when the Leo New Moon six months ago) in the sign of Leo at 24°.  Because this placement is in the second decant, there will not only be an influence of Leo’s energies but also some influence by Sagittarius’ energies as well.

Full Moons and New Moons have emotional in nature and play with our sensitivities.  They bring things to the surface.  Again, the Full Moon is the harvest time of whatever began during the New Moon stage, so we now reap the rewards of our efforts over the past six months.

Emotions now likely run high, and this will be the time to correlate any unresolved issues and look at what we have done to bring them to the surface and deal with them head on.  Because this Full Moon is in the sign of Leo, matters of the heart will be a part of the energies.  You may now find that awareness comes to the surface, and you feel that you are in the know. As a result, you want to express yourself clearly and concisely.  You are open to dialogue, and everything comes from the heart.  For some, this may be difficult as they normally keep things inside, but now is the time to let them out and be open and honest.

Because of the issues of the heart, and if you happen to be in a relationship, this will be the time to either step things forward or hold back and retreat.  There may be risks in matters related to love and affection, and you may feel that you know best.  Things may not go smoothly, and you can expect the unexpected.  This is largely due to the Square from Uranus. Since during a Full Moon the Sun and Moon are always in opposition to one another, Uranus’ square is also square to both the Sun and Moon creating a T-square.

A T-square suggests things are out of balance, and because Uranus is involved, something new needs to take hold.  A revelation due to Uranus’ energies may come as a complete surprise or somehow be unexpected, but over time, you will begin to realize that the energy in place will push you in the direction that is required.  Uranus says, “wake up, it’s time to take notice and do something about it”.  Uranus is known as the awakener and pushes us out of complacency and asks for change, but if we do not move in that particular direction, Uranus will force us into it.

Something is missing, and once you pay closer attention, you will see whatever is missing is what is creating this imbalance. This is why change is essential.  The actual change does not have to be complete and total, as, sometimes only a minor change of attitude or direction is all that is required. In other cases, however, there is a strong need to move in a different direction. (A complete look at the Astrology chart will explain the extend of the change).  This will likely not be an easy solution, but pay heed, as what needs to change will be changed one way or another, with or without your consent.

Again, much will depend on the overall condition of the birth chart currently, including the aspects from the transiting planets to other planets and important angles during this time frame.

The Full Moon in Leo 2025 will involve issues of the heart. Emotions will run deep and due to Uranus’ influence, there may be a need for change, which can be unexpected. It is time for an awakening.
