FULL MOON IN ARIES

Full Moon in Aries

Today, October 6, 2025, into early tomorrow morning, we will be having a Full Moon in the sign of Aries, at 14°. 

The Sun and the Moon are always in Opposition when we are experiencing a Full Moon.  They are always in Conjunction when we experience a New Moon.

We use an orb of 3° when deciphering if any Transits are making aspects to the placement of the Full or New Moon.  In this particular case, there are no major aspects affecting this Lunar position.  There is, however, the Trine between Transiting Uranus and Transiting Pluto which are at 1° Aquarius and 1° Gemini respectively.  In turn, both outer planets are also making Sextiles to Saturn which is at 1° Aries and Neptune which is currently at 27° in the sign of Pisces.

A Full Moon often depicts the harvest time for plans or goals set forth during the New Moon about six months ago when the New Moon was in the same sign as the current Full Moon.  In this case it is Aries.  The fruits of your labour will depend on how much energy and dedication was put into your goals over this six period.  The astrological houses involved will define what areas of life are affected.  The Natal Planets or Natal Angles which are within the 3° range of this placement will also have an impact on your personal journey.

This Full Moon, being in the sign of Aries, suggests that what you initiated six months ago should have been very personal in nature.  The focus of the Aries New Moon would have been about your own needs and your own individual direction.  You had to look after your own interests which may not have coincided with what others wanted.

To assist in our explanation (and remember your astrological houses involved are important), we will give an example.  If, for example, the Aries New Moon was in the seventh house, it would most likely have involved a relationship of significance, like your partner.  It may also have had something to do with a business partnership, although not necessarily your partner in life.  This would have involved you personally and perhaps you had to make plans at that time with your needs having to come to the forefront. 

Perhaps a divorce or separation, especially if Pluto or Uranus might have been involved, is what was initiated. Perhaps a new marriage was involved, if by chance Venus or the natal Moon might have been involved. 

Now, at this time, these initiated events come to fruition under the Aries Full Moon.  Again, these are just ideas from the seventh house placement in our example, and it is imperative to take into consideration what the whole chart along with all transits involved are also representing. 

The Full Moon in Aries now completed the Aries New Moon cycle and whatever was set in motion personally should now come to fruition. What efforts were used?

SUN IN SAGITTARIUS

On November 21, 2024 the Sun moves from Scorpio (a Fixed, water sign) into Sagittarius (a Mutable, fire sign).  Sagittarius, being a Mutable sign, can mold easily to life’s situations whereas Scorpio, under most conditions, does not like change.  Sagittarius enjoys exploration and the excitement that new things can bring.  These two signs are quite different from one another.

Sun in Sagittarius

Sagittarius loves wide-open spaces, and many enjoy travel especially when it comes to long distance travel.  They marvel at the experience that travel can bring and enjoy meeting new people and sharing events. 

Sagittarians enjoy conversation but it does not need to be overly deep; although where philosophy comes into play, they can speak their mind. This can apply to any religious inclinations or spiritual insight. 

Many Sagittarians are fun-loving people who generally feel good about their lives, especially when their interest is aroused.  They often have a very positive attitude and believe that even under the harshest of conditions something good lies just around the next corner.  This is due to their ruling planet, Jupiter (the planet of good luck and expansion). 

Many Sagittarians are considered happy-go-lucky and although they have little problem expressing themselves, at times, they may experience “foot-in-mouth” disease and wish they would have thought a little deeper before opening their mouth.  They do speak their minds, and this can at times get them into trouble.  Sagittarians usually learn from their mistakes but still seem to speak before thinking. 

Sagittarius individuals love the great outdoors and are often interested in sports.  If they do not play sports, they are likely avid sports spectators. 

Some Sagittarians may have trouble settling down and can get bored with some people.  However, a Sagittarian may need grounding and, in some cases, can get that from their significant other.  A variety of experience can mean a great deal to a Sagittarian.  This would also include, to some extent, those with a Sagittarius rising sign or those with many planets in the ninth house which is the natural ruling house of Sagittarius.

Those people with strong Sagittarius tendencies can be idealists, open-minded, kind and caring individuals.  Some find spirituality fascinating and want to delve deep into this side of life, preferring to learn through experience rather than from the written word.  This does not mean that schooling will not appeal to them only that they truly want the experience for themselves so they can make their own commitments or resolutions on any given subject.

Transits that will affect Sun in Scorpio

Today, we would like to touch on some strong transits that will affect Sun in Scorpio

Pluto, Neptune and Uranus are all transiting in the late degrees of Capricorn, Pisces, & Taurus respectively. Therefore, these planets will be affecting all those with their Sun in the final degrees of Scorpio. 

This would have been and likely still is a time when there are great changes and powerful energies taking place in life.  The aspects will be affecting anyone with their Sun from 25 to 29° and for those with their Sun in the immediate earlier degrees, you have already gone through what we are about to touch on.

Transiting Pluto and Uranus are both in earth signs; therefore, they are making an opposition from Uranus to the Sun and a sextile from Pluto to the Sun.  Once Pluto moves into Aquarius (mid-November) and stays there without retrograde motion, it will be making a square for those with their Sun in the early degrees of Scorpio. 

Once Neptune moves into Aries which takes place into 2025, it will be making a quincunx to those with their Sun in the early degrees of Scorpio.  These two planets will already be having their energies felt for these people but will intensify as time progresses.

Pluto, a powerful agent of transformation, suggests massive changes of a positive nature and will bring opportunities for those with their Sun in the later degrees of Scorpio. For those with their Sun in the early degrees of Scorpio, the energies are quite different as this aspect is now a square, while the earlier aspect with those in the later degrees is a sextile. 

The square presents us with obstacles to overcome in the areas of life indicated by the house positions of transiting Pluto and the Sun.  This would likely not be an easy time and change, although quite disruptive and often unavoidable, will, over time, put you where you need to be.  It is important to recognize this the energies in place in the initial stages are often not very pleasant.  Change is now a requirement from deep within  and what you used to hold on to or have will make a giant shift and a new idea or concept or experience takes hold.  It will likely take about 2 years to fully understand the reason behind what takes place and the acknowledgement that this is favorable over the long haul.

Neptune in the final degrees of Pisces making a Trine to those with their Sun in the later degrees of Scorpio suggests that although things may not be too clear as to where you might be heading, the changes that affect you will be advantageous as time passes.  There may be more insight into the mystical side of life and an unlocking of the door to clearer insight and spirituality of a positive sort. Things just seem to flow and both Pluto and Neptune are making easy and good energies for those with their Sun in the later degrees of Scorpio. 

Uranus is also a powerful agent of change but not as dynamic and absolute as Pluto. With Uranus in the last degrees of Taurus making an opposition for those with their Sun in the final degrees of Scorpio, this will likely bring changes and often these changes have to do with relationships and the energy is often brought on by others.  Uranus, although it can act in unusual ways and bring sudden and unexpected change, fosters change that is needed because whatever was in place now no longer serves a viable purpose.  The soul is asking that you make changes and has likely provided you with a little push in the past, but you may not have reacted accordingly so now its energies are much more abrupt and insistent.
