NEPTUNE SQUARE NATAL NORTH NODE

The position of the North Node, by sign and house, is extremely important. The sign and house position will change the energies specifics of what transiting Neptune square natal North Node will indicate for you.  We will only touch on the energies of the Square from Neptune to the North Node without sign and house involvement.  There are numerous variations when taking the house and sign energies into account. Since the North Node is tied to important people brought into your life, sometimes for brief periods, and specifically speaks very clearly about your path in life, this may very well be a time when someone comes into your life with a vision of what you should be pushing towards which is actually misleading due to Neptune's influence.  If, however, there is no other individual involved in the equation, this is a time when you need clarity on how to proceed by simply putting one foot in front of the other.  You will be unclear about where you are heading and may wish to avoid any difficulties by trying to escape reality on some level.

The answers will be unclear under this aspect, and you will need to put your faith in those that you know and trust, making sure that their intensions are nothing but positive for you.  You may think you know which way forward would be best, but you might not be right with your decision. Someone might be able to help you at this time as your perception is off.

SATURN SEXTILE NATAL NORTH NODE

When deciphering the information in this article, the placement of the North Node and South Node in your astrology chart will be extremely important.  The North Node has to do with what we have come into this incarnation to learn from, achieve, and build on, and the South Node speaks of what we should let go of and what is comfortable for us (this is determined by the sign and house position). 

Transiting Saturn Sextile Natal North Node

When Transiting Saturn makes a Sextile to your Natal North Node, it also makes a Trine to your Natal South Node.  This can be a time of great opportunities when it comes to your path forward.  You may find that your eyes are finally open to what the next step might be as you move forward through life lessons seen as adverse or a slow progress forward (again related to the energies associated with the North Node’s positioning). 

An example might be for someone who has a North Node in Aries (and therefore a South Node of Libra). This would encompass the need to step forward with your own ambitions.  It must be personal although others might be affected as well. The time has come to recognize your personal ambitions and to press forward to fulfill them. With the North Node in Aries in our example, you cannot rely on others to do the work for you (which would likely have been the case in a previous lifetime, or you might have been so tied up in helping others prior to this lifetime that it seems almost out of character to move towards something that suits your personal needs).

With the South Node in Libra, continuing with this configuration example (NN in Aries, SN in Libra), in the past, you were always in the shadows of what was taking place.  Now, your objectives must be met and with the example South Node, you may be able to use your compassionate and diplomatic nature to assist in maintaining this process that is required.  You have ideas on how to maneuver your way forward but a part of you wants to do this for others, when in fact you need to do this for yourself first. Others will likely benefit over time, but you must advance for your own benefit first and foremost.

Saturn may make this progress a little more difficult because it insists that we work diligently for our rewards.  You will have to put in the work required to achieve your objectives and do not let any negativity delay the process. 

Saturn sextile Natal North Node is energy designated for you! The harder you work towards your goals, the greater the chance of success.  The effort and the prolonged period will be worth it. Keep pushing forward even when there seems to be obstacles in the way. 

Perseverance will pay off over the long haul and if Saturn should go into retrograde during the time span, you will have several opportunities before you finalize what it is you may be pushing towards.

PLUTO OPPOSITION NATAL NORTH NODE

Because the North and South Nodes are always in Opposition with one another, the Conjunction of the South Node will be more significant than the Opposition of the North Node.  Conjunctions are the most powerful of the Major aspects, while the Opposition runs about second. 

Much will depend on if you also have Natal planets or angles connected to these positions.  Squares will apply to both while Trines give one node a Trine and the other, a Sextile.  The whole chart must be carefully delineated for an accurate translation, but we will look specifically at the energies of Pluto Opposition the natal North Node.

With the energies of the South Node Conjunction Transiting Pluto, this will be a time of transformation that is attached to feelings we have attached to security linked to the past.  This may be a person or situation that no longer suits our evolution, and when Pluto is connected, it suggests that we are about to head into a period of letting go and releasing.  It is time to move away from these situations or individuals, and we may have had hints along the way letting us know that a change of direction is heading our way.

There are likely Karmic implications and challenges because we may feel safe under the current conditions or with these people, but the time has come to move forward into our North Node path.  Because the North Node is now in Opposition, in most cases, other individuals will be involved and perhaps they have been trying to make us change our destiny or causing our path to change in significant ways.

There will likely be power struggles along the way, and it may take as many as two years before the journey finally gets on course completely.  Even after this time frame is finished, it will still take some time to fully understand why things went the way they did.  We want to preserve what has been in place, but this will serve little purpose because when Pluto is involved life seems to take over and moves us to where we are meant to be.

This is the time to meet your destiny, and you likely will be fearful because it is new. It will also be exciting although you have never walked down this path before. You will not have a clue as to what to expect.  Your world (area of life depending on the houses involved) is about to transform, and you can help create what is needed by not fighting the process. 

You can swim against the current, but you will tire and eventually flow with the current which over time will take you exactly where you need to go.  Listen to your gut. Your intuition may be strong with Pluto Opposition Natal North Node. Do not be too influenced by other people’s intentions.  This time is significant and will set the path for many years to come. Do not take this lightly.
