URANUS MOVES INTO GEMINI

Uranus temporarily will move into Gemini on July 7, 2025, then back into Taurus on November 8, 2025 and finally move into Gemini for approximately 7 years on April 26, 2026. We thought we would touch on this transit as it will create a more easy flow for Uranus’ energies.

Taurus is stifling the energies of Uranus, (in its fall position which is a placement of general weakness for what the planet represents). 

We have been learning to diversify and not depend on any one thing that brought us security and stability during Uranus’ stay in Taurus. Uranus does not sit well with ingrained structures that do not want to shift, even when a shift is required.  Uranus wants to open doors and awaken us to new possibilities and new beginnings because what has been in place, no longer suits our evolutionary quest.

Taurus is quite content with leaving things as they are.  It seeks security especially in areas concerning earthly achievements.  It moves tentatively, preparing for what might be required in the future as it slowly shifts where it feels shifting is required for the security it seeks. 

Any shift which Uranus would have been trying to implement would take a long time to transpire and would not come easily.  There were concerns about what this change might bring. There would have been concerns as to whether these changes were safe, although the potential for building a solid foundation would have been in the forefront of any change taking place.

Soon, we will begin to feel it shift a couple of degrees prior to Uranus actually moving into Gemini. Our ideology will shift, and we will be more open to dialogue and ready for change. We will be mutable enough to shift without too much interference or worry about what this change might bring.

Gemini is easier going than Taurus, is able to shift where needed, is open to discussion and new dialogue and is adaptable when it comes to new enterprises.  We will be able to move ahead, think in broader terms and evaluate without cause for concern or worrying about the outcome. We will understand that change is required and that anything that is stagnated will no longer serves our purpose for the future. 

As Uranus moves into Gemini, the thought process undergoes change, and we are intrigued. Our thoughts are stimulated by potential and concepts can maneuver their way over hurdles that have been in place. This will result in slow but likely steady growth.  Now, we can use what we have learned and open our minds further into exploration. We will now understand that if we rush into change, it might not work out the way we want it to. 

When Uranus moves into Gemini, we can now harness our optimism, moving along a little slower than what we might want, but with the ability to evaluate all potentials as we begin our exploration into the new and welcoming journey forward.

LUNAR ECLIPSE MARCH 2025

This post is a continuation of the article posted yesterday, March 12, 2025, focusing on the Full Moon on Friday. www.holmastrology.com/post/virgo-full-moon-2025  It is not only a Full Moon, but also a Lunar Eclipse which is 24° Virgo.  The total Lunar Eclipse locally will begin today at 11:57 pm, be at its maximum on March 14 at 2:58 am and will end 6:00 am lasting approximately six hours.  See https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse for details in your area.

As mentioned in our previous articles, you will have to have planetary links or angles close to this degree for the energies to impact your chart and therefore your life.  The rest of the chart must be delineated as well for a full picture of who everything ties in together.

Lunar Eclipses always take place during the Full Moon.  They can be quite emotional in nature. Sometimes what is experienced is completely unexpected and often create endings so that something new can begin.  The energies and events can present themselves in a rather shocking manner, at times, but always takes things forward.  You will not have the opportunity to go back to whatever situation is effects as new beginnings are now at hand.

A Lunar Eclipse is known to be three times stronger than traditional Full Moon.  Often, we begin to feel the effects of the eclipse weeks prior to the event. Perhaps you might think that this early recognition may prepare us for what is in the making, but it usually doesn’t. 

The events that take place will not be forgotten as they are very important stages in our lives.  Review the house, the sign and other planetary energies to define what is likely to unfold over time.  It can take up to six months for things to completely take place, but many Astrologers agree that the length of time the Lunar Eclipse lasts in hours is the length of time they affect our lives in months and weeks. In this case, about 6 months+.

There is an energy that is suggesting things need to change, and they will.  In some cases, what takes hold is out of our hands.  This speaks of major turning points in life, eye-openers and culminations of what has been leading up to this energy. 

With this Lunar Eclipse taking place in Virgo (and as mentioned the house will be very important as this will be the area of life affected) we are likely to go through some deep evaluation.  We need to come to a conclusion based on what now has no relevance in our lives.  We will decipher the area of concern in great detail due to the Virgo influence and will try to find the perfect solution.  In some cases, we will over-analyze and never reach a culmination point.  It will be emotional in nature but does not mean that this period in life is a bad thing. 

Something needs to change, and this is the energy that will make it happen.  There are valuable lessons being formatted under this influence, and it is wise not to just let things blow over. Do not ignore this energy.  Act accordingly with the energies of the Lunar Eclipse March 2025 or the action may be taken for you.

URANUS OPPOSITION NATAL SATURN

Uranus Opposition Natal Saturn

This article is a good general read for Uranus opposition Natal Saturn. However, to go a little more specific for our current signs affecting Uranus and Saturn, Uranus will remain in the sign of Taurus until July, 2025. As a result, currently Uranus Opposition will specifically affect those who have Saturn in Scorpio in the later degrees to make the opposition.  Saturn was transiting through Scorpio from 1953 to 1956, 1982 to 1985, and 2012 to 2015.  It went into retrograde during these time frames so you will have to check your ephemeris or chart to see if this post applies to you.  Uranus can be felt 5-7° approaching and up to 2° separating but will be the strongest when it is direct (at the exact degree).

Those individuals that have Saturn in Scorpio in their astrology birth chart will be deep and reflective, may have some challenges when it comes to revealing the significance of the psychic realm especially in personal terms, and will likely have to work hard to uncover and deal with any taboo subjects that they may identify with, especially from an internal perspective.

Now to more general information for Uranus opposition Natal Saturn, Uranus brings about change and can work in disruptive manners, sudden and often unexpectedly, but it offers an understanding of what frequently stands in the way of moving in a new direction.  In this particular case, with Uranus being in Opposition to our Natal Saturn, the need for change may be stimulated from outside of oneself.  Others may be the reason behind the need for change and there may be some disruptive forces that seem to prevail likely to force change on us.

Much will depend on the astrological houses involved.  For example, if your Natal Saturn is in the second house, security and finances are something that you need to work on and in this case, it could be Uranus (which would be in the eighth house) bringing change because someone that you depended on has deceased or left your life. Now you may be seeking alimony, must look deeply into shared resources or could be part of a settlement through inheritance where perhaps family members are causing disruption.

If Saturn is in the fourth house, then the home and family may be affected. Perhaps your early upbringing was difficult and the family that you grew up with (which may have been strict or restrictive in some way) now is seeing changes due to status, your life’s path, your career being adjusted, or your goals and aspirations now going through some changes.  This can apply to the home and family you have created as well. Much will depend on your age. 

If you are in your late 60’s, this may relate to your parents. If you are in your 40’s, this may involve your current home and there being some challenges because of changes taking place at work. If we are speaking of a young person roughly 10 to 13 years old, this may mean that your family is moving and those that you are comfortable with, especially your friends, are now going to be out of reach or further away than you might wish them to be. 

With Uranus opposition natal Saturn, change is often part of the current process. Because you are comfortable with the way things are at this point, does not mean that change is not required on some level.  Accepting what now flows your way is the best approach.  If you resist, the change may be much more challenging and disruptive.
