Preparing For the Future

In many cases even the forecast that we see for ourselves is not always what materializes.  In real terms, what lies ahead is often out of view.  We can prepare all we want for what MIGHT lie ahead, but do we really know what awaits us? 

The future is uncertain, yet we must prepare. 

We live in an earthly environment with earthly requirements. Money and what we consider our valuables are up front and, in some cases, foremost.  So, for many, it is important to prepare from security with that perspective.  Saving a little and planning for retirement or our next journey would be part of our focus. 

We can also be in the process of working on our spiritual existence, our ongoing evolutionary quest and development.  Our existence can be focused on a quest for truth and our awareness that there is much more than meets the eye in this life. We are open to learning and learning to listen.

Our mission to expand our awareness and soar ahead is tied to every facet of life. We are here to learn what all of these “expressions” denote in deeper terms.  Preparing for the future is about experiencing today and what we do with our life in our daily adventures. Our constant absorbing and movement fulfills and exemplifies what lies ahead.

Don’t forget who you are and why you are here.  Your preparing for the future is tied to your daily journey that each moment provides. You are the benefactor of each of your experiences and the knowledge gained not only benefits you but is eventually passing on beyond you to others. 

Prepare for the future by living today, in the moment.

JUDGEMENT CALL

The saying goes “we shouldn’t judge others unless we have walked a mile in their shoes”. 

Judgement Call

We can be a sum of our experiences. We really do not know what has brought anyone to the place where they currently exist.  We know very little, if anything at all, about their personal journey. 

How were they brought up?

What are their innate instincts?

What does their natal chart suggest?

We are just touching on personal influences but even just these three basic influences can greatly impact our development and progress.

There are parameters that are socially acceptable for our actions. It is my opinion, however, that no action is acceptable if it causes strife or pain for us or others.  As a human, this is when it is hard not to judge.

Most of us instinctively want to avoid conflict. Yet is it not necessary to stand up against abuse?

We have not walked a mile in the abuser’s shoes, and judgement is not needed, only action. It is not ours to understand the why, but we can stop the “what” with action and compassion.

Those that create conflict will live in conflict. For every action, there is a reaction. Your actions reverberate and causes waves of influence.

Living with compassion, care and concern is not weak!

All actions should be carefully considered. What is the consequence of your actions?

Make a judgement call on what you are planning to do and what this action or lack of action might do. We can never analyze every possibility, but we can certainly try to do our best in whatever we choose to do or not do. This you can judge….this is your judgement call!

SENSELESS ACTS

Senseless Act

If you have been the recipient of a seemingly senseless act, my heart goes out to you.  These acts can be very intrusive and, in many cases, can set someone in a spiral causing great grief and anxiety.  If we cannot comprehend the why behind an act, it can be hard to process.

Unfortunately, there are perpetrators and there are those who care little about the effects their actions have on others.  Instead of using this energy constructively, they indiscriminately unleash their fury on others.

For those that have been the recipient or outlet for someone’s fury or have simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time, most often these acts are not against you personally. Regardless, however, these acts take place without warning and can have powerful side effects. 

If we want to return to any sense of order in our lives or enjoy peace of mind, we must learn to process, let go and move on. Holding on to these injustice only causes us heartache and anguish for longer than necessary. They hold us captive to the past.  We must live through adversity but then learn to let go and move on with our lives.  We can’t change what has happened and we cannot blame ourselves in any way for the actions of others.

There are always life lessons to be learned from whatever unfolds in our lives, but in many cases, we may not understand the why behind the incident. 

What did we learn from the event?

Can we make any type of change to avoid such an incident occurring again? 

Whatever happened is likely not to happen again so the worry and anxiety created by the event must be dealt with head on so these emotions can be released and we can move forward in our life’s journey. 

Life can have unbearable events at times, but these are temporary and a steppingstone to growth if we can take the lesson and turn it around. Remind yourself that the overall conditions in lives, in most cases, are quite promising. 

Remember our focus is in our hands, and we choose what to hold on to and what to release even with senseless acts. We will have scars but how will we allow these scars to affect us? 

Will they stagnate us or catapult us to great growth?

We can never ignore what has taken place in our lives. Life has lessons, whatever they may be, including those that seems to be a senseless act. Learn what you can from any incident, whether we determine them to be good or bad. Do not focus on where you do not want to be; focus on where you want to be.
