As Transiting Saturn makes an Opposition to the North Node in our birth chart, it will also Conjunct our South Node.  The North and South Nodes are always exactly180° apart.

The South Node and Saturn are said to carry with them similar energies.  Both are considered malefic or non-desirable when it comes to their energy.

Transiting Saturn opposition to natal North Node is a valuable yet difficult lesson. After these energies pass, you will feel great relief. Review the lessons learned as Saturn is a disciplinarian but also a great teacher. Without its influence, even though the lessons are not easy, we can become stagnant.
Transiting Saturn Opposition Natal North Node

The Opposition to the North Node suggests that other people are often involved in what is taking hold in life.

The energies of Saturn in opposition to our natal North Node can have a lasting effect and can cause some concern because it appears as though someone is trying to stop your momentum forward.  You are being held back from moving in the direction that you want to go.  There can be obstructions along the way, twists and turns that you might not enjoy, and you will likely feel as though you are being tested by outside forces.

Things will finally start moving or flowing again once Saturn has moved out of orb. Unlike other transiting Planets, sometimes due to Saturn’s delay, its most powerful influence may be encountered when it is 2° past being direct.

For example, if the North Node is at 25° Pisces and Saturn is at 27° Virgo, this will be when these energies are at their peak.  Interestingly, transiting Saturn Mid-April and into May of 2025 is making contact within this suggested aspect, while both in transit.  So, if you have this influence also in your natal chart, this specific timing will be a very powerful in your life, and you will have to wait for these energies to clear.  Much will depend on the houses involved as this will define the areas of life involved.

Perhaps issues of the past may now be surfacing and although you would rather push them aside, this is the time to face them and review thoroughly and discreetly.  Do not try to avoid this as the time has come to deal with whatever this is indicating no matter how challenging it may seem.

There may also be issues related to the father or an authority figure in some cases. If this relates to an authority figure, it might also relate to your career or someone who has a hand in decision making.

If this is tied to the seventh house, for example, then the marriage partner might be part of what this is about.  Troubles in communication may be suggested if the location is within the third house of the chart.  Romantic or issues with authority with your children may be part of what this is about if your fifth house is involved, and so on.

Remember this one aspect, and by itself, it is not enough to ascertain a complete story of what is unfolding but it will provide you with some insight.  The whole picture needs to be evaluated with a look at the full chart.

With Uranus opposition natal Saturn, change is part of the current process likely brought on by others. Change is required. If you resist, the change may be much more challenging and disruptive.
Uranus Opposition Natal Saturn

This article is a good general read for Uranus opposition Natal Saturn. However, to go a little more specific for our current signs affecting Uranus and Saturn, Uranus will remain in the sign of Taurus until July, 2025. As a result, currently Uranus Opposition will specifically affect those who have Saturn in Scorpio in the later degrees to make the opposition.  Saturn was transiting through Scorpio from 1953 to 1956, 1982 to 1985, and 2012 to 2015.  It went into retrograde during these time frames so you will have to check your ephemeris or chart to see if this post applies to you.  Uranus can be felt 5-7° approaching and up to 2° separating but will be the strongest when it is direct (at the exact degree).

Those individuals that have Saturn in Scorpio in their astrology birth chart will be deep and reflective, may have some challenges when it comes to revealing the significance of the psychic realm especially in personal terms, and will likely have to work hard to uncover and deal with any taboo subjects that they may identify with, especially from an internal perspective.

Now to more general information for Uranus opposition Natal Saturn, Uranus brings about change and can work in disruptive manners, sudden and often unexpectedly, but it offers an understanding of what frequently stands in the way of moving in a new direction.  In this particular case, with Uranus being in Opposition to our Natal Saturn, the need for change may be stimulated from outside of oneself.  Others may be the reason behind the need for change and there may be some disruptive forces that seem to prevail likely to force change on us.

Much will depend on the astrological houses involved.  For example, if your Natal Saturn is in the second house, security and finances are something that you need to work on and in this case, it could be Uranus (which would be in the eighth house) bringing change because someone that you depended on has deceased or left your life. Now you may be seeking alimony, must look deeply into shared resources or could be part of a settlement through inheritance where perhaps family members are causing disruption.

If Saturn is in the fourth house, then the home and family may be affected. Perhaps your early upbringing was difficult and the family that you grew up with (which may have been strict or restrictive in some way) now is seeing changes due to status, your life’s path, your career being adjusted, or your goals and aspirations now going through some changes.  This can apply to the home and family you have created as well. Much will depend on your age.

If you are in your late 60’s, this may relate to your parents. If you are in your 40’s, this may involve your current home and there being some challenges because of changes taking place at work. If we are speaking of a young person roughly 10 to 13 years old, this may mean that your family is moving and those that you are comfortable with, especially your friends, are now going to be out of reach or further away than you might wish them to be.

With Uranus opposition natal Saturn, change is often part of the current process. Because you are comfortable with the way things are at this point, does not mean that change is not required on some level.  Accepting what now flows your way is the best approach.  If you resist, the change may be much more challenging and disruptive.

We posted our article on Sun in Pisces on February 12, 2025.  Here is a link for your convenience.  www.holmastrology.com/post/sun-in-pisces-2025

The aspects for those with Sun in Pisces 2025 might be challenging but what is learned will stand the test of time and you can move forward with clear perception.
Aspects for Sun in Pisces 2025

Today, we are reviewing the more significant aspects that will be affecting Sun in Pisces over the next solar return.

Saturn will be transiting through Pisces making a Conjunction for those with their Sun in the mid to late degrees of Pisces.  Saturn moves into Aries at the end of May, 2025 returning for its final pass-through Pisces in early September and finally stay in Aries from mid-February of 2026 forward.  Neptune will also be moving into Aries towards the end of March, although it does return to Pisces for a short stay from October 22, 2025, to January 26, 2026.  Saturn and Neptune will make a tight conjunction in Aries from February 15 to February 21, 2026.

The Conjunction of the Sun with Saturn suggests that although you may have certain goals in mind, the way forward will likely be linked with some sort of adversity or lesson.  Perhaps the goals seem to have obstacles in the way and reaching them requires much work and discipline.  It might be like having to jump through hoops and nothing seems to go as smooth as you wish.  These goals will require a lot of attentiveness and if you are thorough and don’t try to fast-track or jump required steps, the potential to reaching your goals is heightened although the outcome may not be exactly the way you had planned but good none-the-less.  You may feel that the work required is too strenuous or too challenging.  If you follow through, however, the results are reliable and often working towards your objectives can bring solid results that may have a lasting influence or result.

Neptune in Pisces will conjunct the Sun in the end degrees of Pisces as well.  This suggests, without using the influence of Saturn, that your goals and the road ahead may be tied closely with the energies of Pisces.  Make sure that you are seeing things clearly and be objective, especially when Saturn is also involved in the process.  Spirituality can be heightened and once you see things clearly, Saturn will help to determine what is useful and reliable and also what is real and what is imagined.  This is a revolving door that can lead into clear perception and spiritual enlightenment depending on what the rest of the chart is implying at the same time.

When these two planets (Saturn and Neptune) move into Aries, they will make a semi-sextile to those with their Sun in the early degrees of Pisces.  This aspect is considered a minor aspect and is only given an orb of influence of one to two degrees.  The energies of a semi-sextile have been known to be a little irritating or slightly positive.  It can bring confusion as there is difficulty involved due to both planets (the Sun and transiting Saturn as well as Transiting Neptune) are in completely different elements and modalities.  They often do not work well together although it has also been linked to being in the right place at the right time regardless of whether this is considered favorable or not so favorable.  In most cases, the Semi-Sextile is of little importance as it is not considered an energetic or important aspect. Again, sometimes, however, what seems like nothing of importance becomes much more significant later.

The Conjunction of Saturn and Neptune in Aries will likely have quite an impact.  Neptune’s link with the otherworldly, sight unseen, mystical side of life will be working with Saturn, the planet of reality, sight seen, worldly and very concrete.  Together they will open the door to seeing things as they are through our spiritual connectedness, and being in Aries, you may be pushed to act in a more aggressive manner in using what you have learned while both Saturn and Neptune were in Pisces. Hopefully, this will be brought forward into our personal lives ultimately affecting those around us in positive terms as well.

The aspects for Sun in Pisces 2025 might be challenging but what is learned will stand the test of time and you can move forward with clear perception.
