Don’t let fear stand in the way.  Worrying about what might happen does not build character which is part of what you are doing under this aspect.  You are getting rid of anything that might be holding you back and gaining inner strength along the way.  Stubbornly holding on to what ”was” does not serve a purpose for you. This is a time for regeneration and transformation at its highest level. The energies are favorable at this time although things likely move a slower pace than you want.

NEPTUNE SEXTILE NATAL NORTH NODE

Transiting Neptune Sextile Natal North Node

Transiting Neptune moves quite slowly through the Zodiac, so its influence can be quite substantial and long lasting.  It may have a significant impact for as many as three years.  When it is exactly 60° (Sextile) from your North Node, it will also be 120° (Trine) your South Node, so both Nodes will be impacted.  Using one of the timing devices (transiting Mars, Progressed Moon, Transiting Uranus and sometimes the Transiting Sun) will indicate when you can expect major Neptune/Nodes incidents to unfold.
